The next morning, Kori made a promise to speak to Harry as soon as possible. After getting ready, Kori hopped down the dorm steps and found Harry sitting alone in the common room. She smiled and jumped over the back of the couch so she was sitting directly next to him.

"Morning!" She said, giving him a grin. Harry smiled and ruffled her hair a bit.

"Morning, Kor." He grinned, knowing how annoyed she got when people touched her hair.

"So Harry, I didn't see you a whole lot last night! Just what were you up to?" Kori asked slyly. Of course she knew the answer, but wanted to see if he would confess or not. Harry fiddled uncomfortably. She noticed he was avoiding her eyes.

"Are you sure you didn't see me? I mean I was there." He said, suddenly very interested in his shoes. Kori smirked a bit. She would have liked for him to confess, but once being in the same situation, she could see why he didn't.

"Harry, love." Kori began. "I know what you were doing. And who you were doing it with for that matter."

Harry looked at her, his eyes big.

"Kori! I am so sorry! I didn't want to tell you, because I knew you hated Jolene and I was going to, but then I didn't. You must hate me! I am so-" He started babbling. Kori listened for a couple seconds, but then put her hand over his mouth, silencing him.

"Harry, it's alright. I'm not mad." She smiled. He looked confused.

"Whadya mean you're not mad?" He asked suspiciously. Kori chuckled a bit.

"I mean exactly what I said. I'm not mad. You can date Jolene." She told him. Harry stared at her dumbfound.

"Are you serious? I thought you would be pissed off!" He exclaimed.

"Well, I was at first." Kori admitted truthfully. "But then Draco talked to me."

"Draco talked to you? What did he say?" Harry asked curiously.

"He said that you forgave me for going out with him and that you accepted us being together, even when you hated him." Kori said, quietly. Harry smiled, after taking it all in.

"Draco said that? I mean, he defended me?" Harry asked, shocked. Kori let out a laugh.

"Yes, he did."

Harry sat, looking thoughtful. "You have no idea how relieved I am." He finally said with a weak smile.

"Yeah I kinda do. I went through the same thing." She grinned.

"Oh yeah." Harry reminded himself. Kori chuckled.

"Just promise you'll keep her away from me please. No offence, but I still hate the girl."

"Yeah, I promise." Harry grinned, placing his hand over his heart.

"Thanks. Now come on, Loser. Let's get some food." She grinned.

Kori and Harry strolled down the corridor, joking and talking loudly when suddenly her head began pounding painfully. She tried to ignore the pain. It's just a headache, nothing more. At least that's what she hoped. The rest of the day, the pain kept increasing. It didn't feel like a normal headache. The pain seemed to course through her entire body, spreading jolts here and there. She tried to hide it from her friends. She didn't want them to worry about her, but they seemed to know something wasn't right.

"Kori, are you sure you're alright?" Draco asked for what seemed the thousandth time that day. Kori, Draco, and the rest of the gang were having a huge game of exploding snap in the Great Hall, seeing as it was a Saturday.

"Yes, I'm fine." Kori mumbled. She held her head in her hands, wishing it would stop. Everyone's talking and laughing didn't seem to help. Every time she was spoken too, the pain increased.

"I need some fresh air." Kori said suddenly. Draco gave her a concerned look. Getting up to leave, Kori assured him she was alright and walked out of the Great Hall. She began to feel oddly dizzy, but shook it off and skipped down the steps onto the lawn. Finding her favorite spot by the lake, Kori collapsed on the grass.

A cool breeze blew strands of her dark hair in front of her eyes. She brushed it away, gazing across the calm surface of the lake. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply, trying to keep calm. She didn't know what was happening and it scared her. After about 15 minutes, Kori decided to go back inside. Everyone was probably wondering what was keeping her. Kori made an attempt to stand up, but fell down on the grass. She suddenly felt weak and tired.

"What's wrong with me?" Kori muttered, making a pointless attempt to stand yet again. She was beginning to panic now. The dizziness was getting worse, making her feel sick to her stomach. Kori closed her eyes trying to make it stop. She opened them again to find her vision blurred. Kori cried out, scared. Am I sick? What the hell is happening! She thought, panic stricken by now.

Her breath was short, she was hardly getting any air. Kori looked around the grounds only to find them empty. She had to get someone. She tried to call out, but her voice was too weak. No one could hear her. Desperately, Kori began screaming in her head for someone's help. There was no point in that. No one could hear her thoughts, but her mind told her otherwise. Tired and in pain, Kori didn't want to move even in the slightest. Then, everything went black.

"Do you think she's alright? She doesn't look so well." Kori heard a hushed voice say. She squinted to see five faces looking over her.

Kori looked around. I'm in the Hospital Wing.

"She's awake!" Kori heard a voice whisper excitedly. She smiled feebly and tried to sit up, but dizziness came rushing back.

"You better stay still, Kor. You look real sick." Draco said, his voice filled with concern. Kori laid back down on the pillows, closing her eyes.

"What happened?" Kori asked, confused.

"Well, we were hoping you could tell us. Harry just found you lying on the grass. He carried you inside and took you here." She heard Hermione's voice say. Kori sighed heavily and opened her eyes.

"Where's Harry?" Kori asked, looking around the room. Draco, Hermione, Ron, Natasha, and Samantha were all there, but no Harry.

"He rushed off, said something about speaking to the Headmaster. He should be back soon." Hermione assured her.

Gone to see Dumbledore? Kori thought quizzically. What did Dumbledore have to do with anything? Then suddenly, realization dawned on her. The Prophecy, it must have something to do with this.

"I need talk with Harry. Now." Kori whispered.

"He'll be here soon." Draco said soothingly, grabbing her hand. He kissed her softly on the forehead, making her smile. The doors to the Hospital Wing opened and Harry swept in, looking flustered.

"What's wrong Harry?" Natasha asked. He shook his head.

"I need to talk with Kori. Alone. Sorry everyone." He apologized.

"I'll be back later then. I have some Potions to do anyways." Draco replied. He kissed Kori lightly on the lips before leaving.

"We'll come back too. With candy! Lots of it!" Samantha said excitedly while Natasha grinned. Kori laughed weakly.

"Can't wait. Later Ron, Hermione." Kori called after them. Once Harry had made sure everyone was out of the room, he came and sat on the edge of her bed. Kori scooted over to give him more room.

"I knew something was wrong." Harry started off abruptly while looking at Kori with concern. "I mean it wasn't instinct or anything. You told me."

Kori looked at him with narrow eyes. "What? I was all the way outside! There was no way you could have heard me!"

Harry shook his head. "I heard you in my head. I know that's insane, but I did. I went to talk to Dumbledore and he said he was waiting for this to happen. It's part of the Prophecy. As it comes closer and closer, he said you're going to start feeling a bit odd, collapsing, even gaining new powers.

"Like Telepathy." Kori whispered. "I remember yelling for help. Thinking it actually, but I couldn't understand why. I didn't know you would actually hear me." She whispered quietly.

Harry rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, it was really weird. I was watching Ron and Natasha play Exploding Snap and then I just heard this voice asking me for help. The weirdest part was it sounded like you. I told everyone I was going to get you and I went outside and found you lying there. Then I knew something was going on. I took you to the Hospital Wing right away. I told everyone where you were and then I went to see Dumbledore." Harry finished. It was quiet for several minutes.

"Harry, I'm scared." Kori admitted. Gaining new powers, collapsing, telepathy, and the prophecy coming true anytime now. It was all very frightening. Harry put his arm around her, pulling her close.

"You have every right to be scared. I'd be surprised if you weren't. Hell, even I'm scared. I don't know what's gonna happen." Harry sighed, running a hand through his untidy black hair.

"I hate this! This waiting around! It feels like I'm waiting for my deathbed! I mean, what chance do I have against Voldemort?" Kori trembled.

"Kori! Don't say that. You aren't going to die or anything. Remember, this prophecy concerns me too, so whatever happens, we're stuck in it together. And there's no other person I'd rather be with during something like that than you." Harry smiled. Kori gave him a feeble grin. She breathed deeply, feeling a bit more calm and relieved after talking with Harry.

"I gotta get going. Draco should be here soon." Harry said, giving her one last hug.

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow then, right?" Kori called after his retreating back. Harry turned around and smiled.

"Count on it!" He yelled back. Kori smiled and sank back onto her pillows.
