Happy New Year Everybody!
It's been a long time since my last update. I'm sure all of you probably thought you'll never hear from me again. I'll admit that my return was overdue, honestly I don't really have an excuse for why I took such a long break. I had only intended to be gone for a few months but then that turned into years and now we are in 2018 and still I have yet to post anything new. But rest assured that with this author's note I am posting, I am announcing my return to FanFiction and now to Archive of Our Own.
I will say however that as of right now the only stories I'll be working on will be The Perfect Enemy and VK Truth or Dare. Everything else will remain on hiatus until the completion of these stories. I've made the mistake of getting overwhelmed by working on so many stories at once to the point that I developed severe writers block and abandoned a lot of my stories because of that. I'm hoping that once all or most of the stories still currently active in my profile are completed, I will go back to them and give them the attention and time they deserve as I have done so well with The Perfect Enemy, which has been patiently awaiting for me to post the remaining 26 completed chapters.
The sequel to The Perfect Enemy called A Thousand Wishes is also waiting to be posted too (I'm a good 5 chapters into the sequel, which is good and I hope to be further once The Perfect Enemy and VK Truth or Dare is finished). I will also begin posting some one shot stories for the sequel to both The Perfect Enemy and A Thousand Wishes, which is a bunch of one shot stories centered around the various couples I matched up in both The Perfect Enemy and A Thousand Wishes. The cool thing about this third sequel is that there is no set time line so we can see the lives of the VK characters and my own characters when they are young and old. This sequel will also look at the lives and romances of a lot of the side characters mentioned in the prequels, so look forward to seeing that. After The Perfect Enemy is completed I will post a few one shot stories centered around the characters from that story and when we get into A Thousand Wishes, I will post one shot stories from the characters mentioned in A Thousand Wishes. After the completion of both said stories then I can focus on Our Love (the title of the third sequel, in case you are wondering) until it's completion. But until we reach a certain point in The Perfect Enemy, the one shots to appear in Our Love will remain shelved until that point in time.
Now onto the planned scheduled release days I have for my stories. I figured Sunday's would be the best day for me to post them as it's the only true day off I have during the week. I usually spend it sleeping or playing video games but writing/posting my stories seems like a better alternative. I can always play video games or read manga as a reward for myself for posting my stories on either FanFiction or Archive of Our Own. I work full time as a web designer/animator so my weekly schedule is always busy but Sundays seems to be the one day when I get time for myself, so I want to spend it doing what I love and that is writing stories and geeking out by playing video games.
The Perfect Enemy will be posted on a weekly basis, while VK Truth or Dare will be posted bi-weekly. So there will always be two stories posted every other Sunday. I'll mention in a author's note at the bottom of the most recent chapters if this set schedule changes for any reason. I could probably just post all of the completed chapters of The Perfect Enemy and save me the trouble, but because the completed chapters have been just sitting in my documents folder for so long without any editing, I'm sure there are a lot of things that need to be fixed and parts that need to be rewritten because my original ideas have changed since the last time I worked on these chapters. So I need to spend whatever time I can get to work on theses chapters so they share the same new ideas I've added since their completion. Not to mention that I have to go back to the old chapters and fix a lot of the old material since there is a lot I need and want to change to match the new ideas I have planned for The Perfect Enemy.
The Perfect Enemy shall make its return next Sunday. VK Truth or Dare will return the following Sunday. No story will be posted today…sorry.
Now onto the last subject I wanna mention...I've had a Archive of Our Own account for years but never posted anything on it, but this year that will change. I will be reposting my more popular stories from FanFiction to Archive of Our Own for the sake of reintroducing them to a new website and hopefully newer readers. I have also decided to start making exclusively made stories for Archive of Our Own, I've been working on a new VK story called The Scarlet Child that I hope to officially post on Archive of Our Own this upcoming fall but that can change depending on where I am at in terms of my other stories that are on hiatus. I do plan to immigrate to Archive of Our Own permanently in the future but that day is still a long ways away. So for now I will be at both locations and will be working on stories exclusively for each site, except for the more popular stories I have that will be available in both locations.
So that's pretty much it really...I am happy to be back and writing for my dear readers again. I appreciate you all for your patience and support and I look forward to working with you all in the new year!
