Sorry for the wait everybody! I was on vacation for the 4th of July here in the states and then I got sick after getting back. I'm sorry this is not longer, but I'm still not 100%.

Thank you to everybody that has liked, favored and reviewed this story. It means so much to me! And a special thank you to CJ who reviewed this story as a guest. Your review was so beautiful, it brought me to tears. I appreciate it more than you could know.

And lastly...check out my really good friend brinxb's story "They Will Tell You I'm Insane" it's a story about Shane and Beth and it's really good (if you are into that paring, or are like me and just love a good story)

After a little more kissing, and loving the feel of Daryl's strong arms around her, Beth pulled away from Daryl's lips with a sigh. "We really should get back outside" she breathed out as she rested her forehead on his.

"Guess so" he said softly as he tightened his hold on her just a little and buried his face into her hair, inhaling the scent of her, a mixture of cherries and vanilla. He still couldn't believe that he was holding her, feeling her in his arms was so much better than he ever could have imagined. She giggled when she felt his beard tickle her neck as his lips spread feather light kisses across it.

"Ok, come on" she giggled again as she finally pulled herself away from him and stood up. She smiled brightly as she saw the want in his eyes. She grabbed his hands and he stood up, facing her with a small smirk. She smiled again back at him, stood up on her tip toes, giving him a kiss on the cheek and then pulled him toward the door.

"Bethy!" Maggie called as Beth and Daryl walked out of the front door, onto the porch. Beth looked up to see her sister stumble toward her with a beer in her hand and chuckled. Maggie was always entertaining when she was drunk.

"Having fun Mags?" Beth asked with a giggle as Daryl let go of her hand and walked over toward Merle.

"Yeah, having lots of fun. Watching you lay out Jimmy was the highlight though. Way to go Sis" she said with a giggle and a hiccup.

"Thanks! He deserved it for what he said about Merle…and Daryl" she said as she turned her gaze back to the Dixon brothers. Merle had his arm around Carol as they both laughed at something Daryl said. She smiled watching them, happy for Merle and Carol and their new happiness and for her own new found happiness as well.

"Speaking of Daryl…what's going on with you two?" Maggie asked as she swayed into her sister, Beth catching her before she fell.

"Nothing" Beth said as her eyes fell on Daryl. He must have felt her watching him because his eyes rose to meet hers, a smirk crossing his lips when their eyes met.

"Yeah, nothing. I'm drunk but not that drunk….spill" Maggie said as she pulled on Beth's arm. Beth rolled her eyes and turned to face her sister again.

"He kissed me Maggie. He kissed me and it was the most amazing kiss I have ever had" Beth said breathlessly as she watched Maggie's face chance into a huge smile. Before she could stop her, Maggie pulled her into a huge, sloppy hug.

"I'm so happy for you Bethy" Maggie whispered in her ear causing Beth to laugh. No matter how drunk she was, Maggie knew that Beth didn't want this broadcast to everyone that was still there.

"Me too Mags! He is going with me tomorrow to the wine festival" she said in Maggie's ear, causing her to laugh.

"Daryl Dixon at a wine festival. You will have to call me after and tell me how that goes" she replied back in a whisper before they pulled apart.

"Sweet Pea, come 'ere" Merle called from the lawn, causing both Beth and Maggie to look over at him. When Beth's eyes met Daryl's, a smile broke across her face again. Daryl swore he was looking at the sunshine, even though it was close to midnight outside.

"Hey Merle, Carol. How are things?" she asked as she moved to stand beside of Daryl, smiling softly to herself when she felt his hand rest on her lower back.

"We are gunna get out of here Sweet Pea. I'm gunna follow Carol and Sophia back to make sure they get home ok" he said as he pulled her into a hug. "Thank you again for standin' up for us Dixon's. Baby brother and I real appreciate it" he said into her ear, causing another smile to spread across her face as she lifted her eyes to meet Daryl's. She could see the gratitude in his eyes too, as well as something else she couldn't decipher.

"I love you Merle, you and Daryl are both very special to me and I would do it again in a heartbeat!" she said just above a whisper as she kissed his cheek. She could see the faint blush coming onto his cheeks so she turned to Carol and hugged her tightly, whispering in her ear how happy she was for her. The older woman smiled back at her, looking happier than Beth had ever seen her.

"Where are Tara and Rosita?" Beth asked after they watched Merle following Carol and Sophia down the street. The only people left at the party now were herself, Maggie, Glenn and Daryl.

"They left a while ago" Maggie slurred from the front porch, where she had her head laying in Glenn's lap.

"What do you mean they left? They were my ride!" Beth exclaimed as she walked over to Maggie, her sister just kinda shrugging her shoulders.

"I'll give you a ride Beth" Daryl said gruffly as he walked up beside her. She turned to look at him, a smile spreading across her lips again just at the sight of him.

"Yeah, let Daryl take you" Maggie said with a raise of her arm.

"Are you sure, I don't want to put you out" Beth asked softly, looking up at him. How could she think she would be putting him out? Beth being on the back of his bike, her arms wrapped around him tightly, that right there sounded like heaven to him.

"It's no trouble" he breathed out gruffly, the tips of his ears turning red.

"Ok, let's go" she replied, the smile growing wide on her face as she remembered that he rode the bike there.
