Ryo smiled as she headed back down towards the field after seeing her parents, and the white team's half time. She had caught brief moments of the red teams and had almost laughed her head of. Tamaki never changed, his team had a big showy performance. Almost as if they taught that it would earn them points. She was still thinking about Kyouya's complement as she looked at the field in front of her.

She blinked as her thoughts were changed seeing Tsukiko getting ready for the woman's 100m dash. She didn't doubt Tsukiko. She watched the girls shot off. Tsukiko easily pulled ahead earning more points for the white team. "I'm surprised Kyouya let it be this easy... I figured he would want a closer competition... Or maybe he overestimated Tamaki's abilities." She laughed.

Ryo blinked hearing one of the teammates talk to Kyouya. "Otori-san, look at the Red team's energy level. We didn't expect that."

"Yeah. Didn't you say they are supposed to waste all their energy on the cheer-leading competition and collapse entirely?"

"There's no need to worry. Thanks to their self destructive efforts in the first half, we gained more lead that we planned. And, we have a team of elite athletes and Honey-senpai for the obstacle race after this." Kyouya said calmly. Ryo was impressed by his confidence.

Ryo paused as she watched both Honey and Mori walk out onto the field. This will be interesting.

"We are kicking off the later half segment with the obstacle race! The highlight is the battle of Haninozuka vs. Morinozuka in the first race! It's a cousin face off! Ready... Set... GO!" A voice over the loudspeaker called. Ryo watched her two friends race and listened to the commentary. "Morinozuka of the Red team took the lead. Haninozuka is right behind him, but here comes the first obstacle, the triple vaulting horse with 20 tiers each!"

Everyone watched Mori jump over with ease. "Just what you'd expect, Morinozuka is getting through the vaulting horses with ease! Small-built Haninozuka is at a huge disadvan..." The announcer was proven wrong as Honey easily jumped and at the end spun before landing and continuing to run. "He jumped! This is impossible! He is a super human being! Is it true that he is a bunny rabbit reincarnated?! He effortlessly passed Morinozuka, who is having some difficulties with the tiers, then faces the next obstacle, 'eating a whole cake!'"

Ryo paused and looked at Kyouya. I wonder if he set this up... This is going to be no problem for Honey.

Honey sat down at the table and began to calmly eat it. Mori ran up and crammed the whole cake into his mouth. Ryo was shocked. Mori then took off. Honey seemed to be angry at this.

"I said... YOU HAVE TO SAVOR THE CAKE TO THE FULL EXTENT!"

"It seems Haninozuka doesn't like the way Morinozuka ate his cake!" The announcer called. "He is super scary! I'll never eat cake in front of him! The raged bunny takes the lead with the net obstacle! And he keeps the lead as he moves onto the pole vault, the last obstacle."

Ryo gasped as Honey was too short and wasn't able to make it over. Suddenly Mori caught him in mid-air and landed.

"Oh my! Morinozuka caught Haninozuka, who lost balance in mid-air! What a beautiful cousinly love! And the winner is... Red team! Morinozuka won because he hit the mattress first!"

Ryo wasn't surprised. She was surprised, and a bit nervous however, when the red team started winning more and more of the competitions. They were on a winning role. She glanced at Kyouya, and could tell he was just as shocked. She wasn't sure, but she thought she caught a hit of nervousness about him. The rest of the team she could tell was completely nervous.

"What a great return Red team has shown! We finally come to the last race, the relay! The score between Red and White is now only 12 points." Ryo glanced up. 246 and 258... This is close. "The big moment will be the showdown of the captains as anchors at the end for the winner gets 30 points! The winner of the relay race will rule the field day!"

"Hey, Red is changing the anchor to Suoh. He'll be slower than Kuze... but we don't have much lead in the score... We might lose on this one..." A teammate commented.

"Don't doubt Kyouya-Sempai... He'll take us to victory." Ryo smiled. Come on Kyouya... You can do it.

Kyouya didn't look at her as he got ready to head out to the field. Before he could, Koaru called over to him. "Kyouya-Sempai. Why don't you withdraw from the anchor?" "Huh?"

"Luckily, the executive president is watching the race, so you can take an advantage from this whole thing by pretending that you planned this all along to let King win in the end."

Ryo frowned. She didn't want Kyouya to hand it over to Tamaki. She wanted to see him win for once.

"...You think we can use such a trick on that executive president? And this is not about profit. This game is simply about pride... From the beginning...!" He walked out onto the field and Ryo smiled.

Go Kyouya.

"Kao-chan?" Honey asked walking up next to his fellow club member.

"Just as I thought. King wants Kyouya-sempai to fight without the calculation of profits and loses."

Ryo smiled at her friend, then went back to watching the man she loved. He was currently bickering with Tamaki about something. She watched him get serious, and he looked slightly annoyed.

"Look they are fighting like little kids. That's Kyouya-sempai i'm talking about." The twins laughed. Ryo blinked only just realizing the Red team club members had walked over.

"Those two are both idiots." Serenity laughed.

"I wonder which one will win." Luc said, voicing all of their biggest question.

"Wow. I didn't know Kyouya-Sempai had a face like that." Haruhi blinked in shock.

"Tamaki-sempai said Kyouya-sempai always thinks about making the Suohs look good when it comes to public events. Even though it's for his own advantage, Kyouya-Sempai lets Tamaki-sempai have a crown which he is well capable of taking himself."

Ryo frowned. Kyouya... You deserve your own. They all tensed as both Tamaki and Kyouya received their teams baton at the same time. It was a breath holding moment before they watched Kyouya barely pull ahead of Tamaki at the last moment.

Ryo started running to the field watching as Kyouya took his glasses off, breathing heavily. "KYOUYA-SEMPAI!"

"O... Ootori! The winner is Kyouya Ootori! White Team wins!" The announcer yelled.

Ryo smiled coming to a halt in front of Kyouya. "Great job! I knew you could win." Ryo felt like crying. All she wanted to do was wrap her arms around his neck in a congratulation hug, but she knew she couldn't.

"It was fun, wasn't it Kyouya!" Tamaki said walking over. "Isn't it nice to have a profitless 'naive youth fight' every once in a while?"

"I knew that already. Or how could I hang around with you guys?!"

Ryo smiled and backed up a bit as the rest of their friends rushed over to congratulate and tell Tamaki nice try. Ryo smiled watching Kyouya. Good job Kyouya... You were amazing. She smiled knowing she would never have the courage to say her thoughts out loud.
