Okay, first I have to say I AM SO SORRY! I was sick last week and this chapter wasn't finished and I would have really hated posting another short chapter so I decided to put it off another week so I had time to finish it but when I'm sick I am a HORRIBLE Procrastinator and I actually put it of till yesterday and it wasn't finished cause I fell asleep on my laptop as I was writing this. But it's here now and that's all I can say...

So now that I have finished my apology, let's get stuff started.

I am Onmy3dsandproud: I would burn Sodia's hands off...actually no...I would cut them off, burn them to ashes then scatter them into the ocean so there would be no way for her to somehow regain them. Yes now on to Dahngrest FINALLY I will say. Hi Chocolate!

Disclaimer: The last time I shall say this, I don't own Tales of Vesperia...

Warnings: Er...the usual I guess..

Let's get started.

Chapter 25

To say the journey to Helior was uneventful was and understatement, it was downright boring. If it wasn't for the monsters that occasionally attacked or getting lost the two times; Yuri is pretty sure he would have gotten so annoyed he would hit his head on a tree...repeatedly.

Flynn on the other hand was having a better time containing himself, he couldn't help but laugh when Yuri had indeed hit his head on the tree, then Repede bit the bottom of his shirt and dragged him away causing his best friend to fall flat on his bee-hind.

Helior wasn't all that interesting except that big twisting pillar in the center was cool, according to the people that lived there it happened due to a Blastia incident twenty years ago, that was all they knew of what had happened.

It was the third evening since they had left Torim Harbor and they had made great progress, it was the fact that it was so quiet with nothing happening that it was slightly worrying. Just outside of Helior Yuri was laying against a tree with Repede sitting next to him, when he heard footsteps coming from his left, when he opened his eyes he looked over there but there wasn't anything there.

He heard Repede growl and as he got into a defensive stance as he stood up, his hand immediately going to the handle of his katana. He slowly took a step forward, "Something wrong Yuri?" He jumped and quickly turned around to see Flynn looking confused.

"Hey, just thought someone was there for a second." He tried to relax but couldn't shake the feeling someone was there.

"As in...?" Flynn slowly said.

"Don't think so, let's go." The blonde nodded but couldn't help but look around being a little more cautious.

They walked for the next hour on the edge, they tried to start a conversation multiple times but the air was to tense for them. After a bit though they started to think it was safe and they weren't being followed, they started to ease up a bit.

"Maybe we should have stayed the rest of the night in Helior instead of staying there for a few hours," Yuri said as his stomach growled, "Could have had dinner there."

Flynn smirked, amused and shook his head, "Any ideas what we'll make?" He couldn't help but laugh slightly when Yuri gave him a horrified look. He put his hands up like he was surrendering, "Fine, let's me try again." He cleared his throat, "Any ideas on what YOU'LL make?" He pointed at Yuri when he said 'you'll' to emphasize him, Repede had snorted at this finding it amusing while Yuri shook his head with a smile.

"M'not sure, I was thinking something on the lines of a big dinner or something." He tapped his chin in thought.

"Please don't. While I love your cooking, Yuri, we had made great timing in getting to Helior, let's try to keep up the momentum okay?"

Yuri smirked and leaned closer to Flynn, "So the 'Great Flynn Scifo' loves my cooking eh?"

The blonde just looked at him and after a moment wacked him upside the head, "You've known this since we were in the Knights, and just NOW your taking note of this?" He said annoyed as he watched the raven haired male rub the back of his head mouthing a slight 'ow.'

"Jeez, if I had known you were gonna hit me that hard I wouldn't have said anything." Yuri mumbled looking away as they went back to walking.

Then suddenly there was a lot of rustling behind them again and this time all three of them turned around and looked at where it had come from. Yuri glanced at Flynn and nodded, he drew his katana and stepped closer to the bush where they think the rustling had come was about to move it aside when he heard yelling behind him, "Yuri! Flynn!" He looked at the path where they had come from for a second and looked back at the bush where a squirrel and run up a tree from it.

Flynn looked at where the familiar voice had come from to see Karol running down the path they have been taking along with Judith and an annoyed Rita behind them. He glanced at his friend to see him relaxing a tiny bit. They both sheathed their weapons as Repede sat next down to the blonde as the three guild members ran up tot hem.

"So this is where you guys were, man you guys move fast." Karol said panting slightly.

"Karol? Why are you guys here? We thought you were taking a boat." Yuri asked as he walked back up to the group choosing to ignore the curious look Judith was giving them.

"Well the next day after you two," Repede growled slightly at being left out, "left the Harbor Karol decided to go after you guys instead of waiting for the boat, let me just say it was not fun running most of the way here." Rita said looking very tired while she tried to stay standing up."

"Why change your mind?" Yuri asked the guild Captain.

"Well I thought about what you had said about waiting around feels like wasting time and I figured you are right, we have an important meeting in Dahngrest we need to attend to so instead of standing around for a boat I figured why not meet up with you guys and go the rest of the way. Though I will admit I'm surprised you guys had made it to Helior in only a few days and then kept going."

"I didn't mind taking either way, though I do admit it's fun having you three around for company so I was more than willing to come all this way to meet up with you guys. Rita...not so much." The Krityan giggled a little when Rita glared at her.

"Well let's go then, we're burning daylight, we're just trying to figure out what I'll be making for dinner, cause we hadn't stopped at Helior for the night."

(Asuta's PoV)

Few that was a close one, it was a coincidence that I found Yuri and his friend making their way to Dahngrest at the same time I was in the forest. My first thought was to attack and kill the blonde like the job is supposed to be, I still don't know why and it infuriates me, unlike my superior Zagi, my boss has yet to tell me the reason why we want some Captain dead, heck he didn't even tell me who it is that want's him dead.

I realize it would be a bad idea to take on the both of them at the same time, I was already called back to Dahngrest immediately to try another approach. Of course just as soon as I came to that conclusion a squirrel ran into the bush I was behind of drawing their attention over here.

I looked around to see if I can find a way to get away without being noticed but there wasn't anywhere I could go without their being a chance of being spotted, I saw a glimpse of white when I was looking around. I do a double take only to see that whoever it was leave, of course I couldn't have dwell on it to long because I sense Yuri approaching my location. I tensed waiting for a chance to run when that kid called out.

I let out a breath I was holding when the two went back to talking with the people that had arrived, I was careful when I left to make sure I wasn't seen. I wasn't sure whether to be annoyed or not about Brave Vesperia, if it wasn't for there meddling leader Yuri would be dead and who knows, maybe even Flynn as well. But maybe it's a good thing, with them still around things will continue to be interesting for a bit.

(Flynn's PoV)

The rest of the travel to Dahngrest was quiet and I was glad for that, but I was even happier when I saw the city of Dahngrest in the horizon. Yuri and I share a look, we were almost there, hopefully we'll see Scwhann there, and if lucky, we'll find a way to end this mess.

"Look! There's Dahngrest!" Karol yelled pointing at the city, Yuri looked at him and nodded.

"Yup we're almost there." Yuri said sighing.

The next hour walking Karol was talking full of excitement, actually he went on for so long that Rita told him to either 'shut up' or she would burn him to a crisp. The kid looked upset but surprisingly he just shrugged it off and went on like she hadn't said anything. Judith told me that it was an empty threat and Karol realized that, I couldn't but chuckle when I saw the annoyed look on Rita's face.

The sun was setting when we entered Dahngrest, I heard Yuri whistle and looked to see what he was looking at. It was the few of the ocean during sunset, it was amazing. "Quite a view." Yuri said and I couldn't help but agree, it was the first time we sunset as beautiful as this.

"I know right? It's always like this here in Dahngrest, now come on this way." Karol said as he and the rest of Brave Vesperia walked on ahead.

As we walked through the citing I couldn't help but feel slightly uneased, the Guilds and Knights aren't on bad terms but to say they were on good ones isn't exactly true either, things have gotten better over the years which I'm glad for.

We had decided to split up cause Karol, Judith and Rita had something they needed to do and that they'll meet up with us later. After they were gone Yuri suggests we start looking around to see if we might find Schwann around here before going to speak with the Don ourselves. It makes sense cause he might be around here, the chance isn't likely but we don't want to go with Brave Vesperia cause they've been involved enough as it is, even if they didn't know it.

(3rd PoV)

Brave Vesperia enters the tall building on the other side of Dahngrest where the meeting of the Guilds is being held. They walked over to the meeting room and were halted by two guys who were standing outside of the room. "The Guild Masters are currently in a meeting, why would you wish to interrupt them?" One of the men asked,

"I'm Karol, leader of Brave Vesperia, we've been called for the meeting by Don Whitehorse." The young boy told the man in front of him.

They were let in and in the big room standing in the center is a big man with white hair, a tall woman with long red hair, a nervous looking short guy with blue hair and stache, and a tall bald guy (1). Karol noticed that there was a Guild Master missing but in his place was a man he didn't recognize.

I feel like the ending was rushed, I usually like taking my time so it doesn't but I really wanted this up today.

(1): Since there wasn't ever a mention of what the leader of Soul Smith looks like I just imagined him as a big guys with muscles and bald, kinda like the guy in sword art online but you guys can use your own imagination of what you think he looks like.

So now that is done, I hope you guys have a happy holiday, and I may or may not be seeing your in two weeks due to the holidays, bye!
