Chapter 25: Plan 1
Aisha's POV:
"An abandon warehouse?" Rena asked as she looked at a piece of paper. "This used to be a company until it was destroyed."
"A company?" I asked.
"Yea, it was a small company... The head was a Ponggo... No offense. Anyway, it had been abandon for more than 37 years, and no one bother to fix it because whenever someone try to destroy it, it was build up again."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that if someone try to destroy it, the next day, it would be back, the same as before like no one ever touch it. Some assumed that it was hunted by ghosts."
"I see..."
"You're planning to go aren't you?"
"You bet I am."
"Afraid you would say that..." Rena sighed.
"You don't have to go with me."
"And miss all of that? No way!"
"Thought you scared of ghosts."
"No, I'm not scared of anything," Rena smiled. "Should we ask the other too? I mean, this could be dangerous."
"The other?"
"Yea.. The boys."
"You just want to see Raven don't you?..."
"... Maybe... Aside that, we had promise them that we would tell them if we find something!"
"Let me make this clear, YOU, promise them."
"Whatever, you were asleep."
Narrator's POV:
"So you guys get the stories?" Rena asked as her limerick eyes scanned the 3 boys.
"So what's the plan?" Elsword asked.
"Aisha is looking up the map for the place, from there, we would find out how to get in."
"Wait, why do we have to do it?" Raven asked.
"Cause I'm doing it," Chung said.
"If he go, I'm going too," Elsword shrugged.
"Arg, fuck my life," Raven groaned as Rena let out a small amuse smile.
"Why is she here though?" Elsword asked as he pointed left with his thumb.
Eve sat there like a statue as she observed us.
"... Cause she was following us," Rena shrugged, "Eve can you get this downstairs to Aisha for me please?" Rena gave her a tray of cookies and cup of coke. Eve stood up and walked downstairs.
"I'll go with her..." Chung said as he stood up and followed Eve. Rena simply raised an eyebrow at him.
"Let him be.." Elsword mumbled.
"Here Aisha," Eve handed Aisha the tray, the mage looked up from her screen and accepted the tray gratefully.
"Thanks Eve," she smiled. "Oh do you mind washing these cups for me?" Aisha handed Eve 2 white glass cups, one small and one big, before proceeded back on her work. Eve nodded and headed toward the kitchen, where she bumped straight into the Deadly Chaser.
"My bad," Chung apologized as Eve just nodded before heading in the kitchen.
"..." Elsword stayed silence as a silent moment had fallen down in the room. "Well guess I'll be downstairs..." He stood up and walked away, leaving the 2 awkward-looking people stood there, avoiding eye contacts with each other.
Elsword headed downstairs and made his way toward the room the Elemental Master was in. Using his 'skill' of blending in with the dark he had learned from his mentor, he was able to slipped in unnoticeably. He appeared right behind the mage and bent down to her level, his chin was an inch right away from her shoulder before he sent out a small whisper, "Hi."
Hearing the ghostly voice, the cup Aisha was holding flew out of her hand as she stood up abruptly, causing for the chair behind her to fell back, hitting the Infinity Sword's private part unexpectedly. Elsword winced as he fell back on the floor in pain. Aisha turned around and glared at him angrily before she summoned her staff. 2 words came out of her lips threatening.
"Chain Lightning."
"Ow..." Elsword mumbled as he sat on the couch, feeling pain in every part of his body as he pushed the tab on the soda can until he heard a tssk sound.
"Your fault," Aisha mumbled as she sipped on her soda and settled down next to him.
"You work too hard."
"All for the best."
"Still, you need a break."
"I'm perfectly fine." Elsword glared at her, seeing that, she returned the glare. But she noticed that in those eyes of his, it contained a little bit of pain, sadness, and worriness mixed together. Even though he sometimes acted coldly toward her, she knew he was worried about her. Her expression soften as she let out a smile. "I'm fine, really." He turned away but she could still imagined those expressions continued to remain in his eyes. She pouted, figured that he didn't believe her words.
Aisha reached out for his soda before put hers and his on the table. She pushed him against the armrests and climbed onto his laps.
"W-what are you-!?" He started but stopped as a pair of lip pressed against his. His eyes widen as he felt her tongue on his. He had never seen her acting like this before, but that doesn't mean he dislike this side of hers. Aisha wrapped her arms around his neck and slipped her fingers in his soft, smooth crimson hair. He wrapped an arm around her waist while he caressed her back with the other. He pulled her closer, leaving no space between them as the kiss got deeper.
After a while, Aisha pulled away before looked straight into his eyes. She smiled as she noticed that all the sadness, pain, and worriness in his eyes were gone. She hate seeing him like that for some reasons, so she would do anything for him just to take those expressions away from his eyes. She leaned in and kissed him one last time before pulled away and stood up.
"Let's go to the kitchen, I'm hungry," Aisha said as she picked up the 2 cans.
"Didn't you just ate?"
"So?"
"Alright then.." Elsword stood up and followed her to the kitchen, just as they were next to the door, they stopped as Chung's voice faintly sounded through the door.
"Touch it gently, if it's wide enough, put 2 fingers inside, make sure it's wet and rub up and down."
Aisha's mouth dropped to the floor as Elsword froze. In one swift motion, he slammed the door opened. "CHUNG WHAT ARE YOU-" he quickly stopped in his sentence as he saw Chung and Eve were standing by the sink with the water running.
Chung looked over, "Wait hold on." He turned back to Eve and said, "Yep! And that's how you wash a cup!"
Elsword facepalmed himself as Aisha sighed out of relief.
