Hello hello hello all. How are you?
So, interestingly enough, I got writers block yet again. I knew where I wanted to go but whenever I looked at that blank document I just...froze. Instead, I just started writing rants on the Twilight Fandom, which received a great response, which helped me get over my block. So...I feel rather great right now.
I'm actually turning this idea in my head over and over of a Twilight vs Hunger Games thing. It'll probably be another side project, which is bad because I already have two other side projects that ya'll haven't even read yet. I also have covers designed for the two other stories that are meant to be a part of this universe.
Oh well, I'll write it anyway.

"Yea, it was really funny, because even when I told them that I was a girl they thought I was lying."
I'd been talking to Radiance Lockheart, or Red as she preferred to be called, from Five all day. I'm not sure why, but apparently we're really good at talking to each other. We click, and I'm pretty sure that we would have been great friends if we were from the same district. Amy would have loved her.
Amy...
Amaryllis...
I wondered how she was doing.
Did she miss me? Was she worried about me? Was she rooting for me? Or was she rooting instead for Garrett, her older brothers best friend? I wouldn't be surprised, after all she worships her older brother and would d anything to make him smile, but we were friends too.
Lately I've become really introspective, thinking about how we only had one chance at life, how we had one try to do something amazing.
We all had our own definitions of amazing. Amazing kids, an amazing hero. Yet here I was at age fourteen about to die, and I haven't done a whole lot more than tip a few cows in the middle of the night. My name would be noted as nothing special, my face just another in history. What was my life worth? What had I done with it?
"You ok?" Red asked, concern evident on her features. She reached up to touch my face, but she hesitated and put her hand back in her lap.
"Yea, I'm fine." I said with a shrug.
She hummed and took a bit of her sandwich, chewing thoughtfully.
"So I've been thinking you should be my partner. We get along pretty well, plus if you pair with me you automatically have the protection of Nicolas and Rain."
"Sure, that'd be ok." I said, reaching out my arm to her. We grinned as the golden threads swirled under our skin.
Good lord let this be my second chance.
Yea this is basically it. My training chapters are probably just all going to be in a weird clumped up form.
