Chapter 25

Catherine's POV

The last thing I remember before falling asleep was Jackie telling me she loves me more than anything and me telling her I love her back. I fell asleep with a smile on my face. My heart felt like it was mended back together and I could not have been happier.

When I woke up I looked down to see us in the same spot we fell asleep in. Tangled in each other's arms. My mind started to wander. It started to think about the press release Jackie had set up for two days from now.

I was a little scared. I know I shouldn't be because we were finally going to be together and a family, but I didn't know what kind of questions they were going to ask. Were they going to ask if the rumors were true once they see her with me? Or was she going to tell them about the babies and if she is are they going to ask who the father is?

I can't stand to lose her or the babies. What would happen if he found out and wanted to be a part of their lives. I can't do anything to stop it and it technically not my place.

As I started to get more worked up over this, Jackie started to move around. She probably had to use the bathroom.

I whispered in her ear, "Porcupine, do you have to use the bathroom?"

I placed small kisses down her neck line. I could see her cheeks outlining a small grin. I whispered again "I know you have to use the bathroom, having two babies on your bladder is not the greatest."

She mumbled something, got slowly up and walked into the bathroom.

Not more than a minute later Jackie was calling for me.

I get Ethan in after he does his business and I take the tray of food and drinks upstairs.
