"Alice!" I was standing in the hallway chatting with Fred and George when someone shouted my name. I whipped my head around and saw my brother coming towards me.

"Afternoon Harry." I smiled to him.

"Do you think we can talk later?" He asked quietly.

"I have some time right now if you'd like."

"Well I know you're talking to Fred and George..." I watched as Harry nervously rubbed the back of his neck.

"It's alright, we were just talking about tonight's quidditch tryouts. But we can talk later, right boys?"

" 'course!" The twins answered in unison.

"See you tonight then." I gave Fred a soft kiss on the lips and a quick hug to George before leaving with Harry. "Everything alright Harry?" I asked.

"I, yeah. Just wanted to say hi. See you tonight at try-outs then." He turned to walk away but I called after him.

"Harry!" I grabbed for his arm but missed by inches. He turned to face me anyway. "I thought you said you wanted to talk."

"I...yeah...sorted of." He started at me for a second, internally debating. " I wanted to ask you, does your scar ever...well does it hurt?" Harry's mention of scars again caused me to touch the bolt on my forehead.

"Does it hurt?" I repeated. "No not really. It did once last year, but never before and never after. What do you think that means?"

"I dun-know." He shrugged. "But you heard Sirius, he reckons I shouldn't worry. I suppose it's nothing."

"Well, if it's connected to Voldemort, it might be worth paying attention to, but Sirius maybe right, Worrying isn't going to do any good."

"I suppose your right. Let me know if anything that it happens to you yeah?"

"Of course!" I promised. "I'm really sorry Harry, but I've got to get to class. See you tonight?"

"Sure." I felt bad that I was sort of blowing him off after I said I had time to talk but I really was going to be late for Muggle Studies if I didn't run off. Luckily my classroom wasn't too far from where I was. With wispy hair and panted breath I found an open seat next to Hermione.

"Cutting it a bit close aren't you?" she scolded me as I searched for my textbook.

"Sorry, was chatting with Fred and George for a bit too long, then I got stopped by Harry on the way."

"You've been stopped by Harry? Is he okay?" She dropped her voice because Professor Burbage was trying to begin her lesson.

"I'm not sure." I answered honestly. "He seems really worried about his scar. Does it hurt him often?"

"You mean he really hasn't told you?" She looked worried now.

"No, he hasn't." I shook my head slightly.

"Harry's scar has been bothering him for years, like he said the other day, it's mostly when Voldemort is feeling his most powerful. Ron and I always thought the reason why he never wants to talk about it is because you two...Honestly I'm sure it's not something any of us should be worried about. If Dumbledore's not concerned, we shouldn't be either." Hermione stated before turning her attention to the class. I knew it was all that she would say on the subject so I turned my own attention to professor Burbage. I was dutifully taking notes when the pocket of my robes became warm.

My office. As soon as possible.

In Muggle Studies, will go to your office at the end of class. I scrawled a quick reply to Severus before returning to my notes. Wonder what I've done wrong now. I sighed to myself as the class continued.

"Everything alright?" Hermione whispered.

"Yes, I've just realized I forgot my Herbology textbook," I explained. "I'll have to run and get it from my common room after class."

"Oh, right I'll let the other's know." She assured me as she turned back to her notes. The class ended quickly and I was soon running off to the dungeons. I barged into Severus' office where he was waiting expectantly.

"There's someone here to see you." Severus whispered. I let myself into his office where, to my delight, Remus was waiting.

"Remus!" I shrieked wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Alice thank Merlin you're safe." Remus whispered into my hair as he pulled me in tight. "We don't have much time." he said resting his chin on my head. "If I stay too long Sirius will notice I'm missing."

"What are you doing here?" I asked, noticing his grip hadn't loosened one bit.

"I've half a mind to transfer you to another school. It's a wonder Severus hasn't suggested it already. That women is fowl and shouldn't be allowed near children."

"Remus I can't breathe." He released his grip on me. "Have you spoken with Severus about transferring me to another school?" I asked interested.

"Alice we couldn't, too many people are watching you and Harry now. Transferring you to another school would only decrease Dumbledore's credibility."

"Course." I said gently rubbing the back of my scarred hand.

"May I look at your hand." Remus said softly.

"Yeah." I squeaked, handing the damaged appendage to him. Remus gently took my hand and read the upside down words.

"She had you write 'I will not give in to ignorance'." Remus questioned.

"Alice came up with that on her own." Severus said from the doorway. I turned my head to see him leaning on the doorway watching Remus and I.

"Allison, you need to listen to me," Remus took both of my hands in his, and looked me straight in the eyes. "Do not get on that woman's bad side. You need stay under her detection for the rest of the year, Allison I can't express to you how important it is that you stay out of trouble."

"Don't worry, I've got help from now one. See Emily and Fred..."

"Don't you have a class to get too?" Severus interrupted me.

"Herbology, but I've got a few minutes. I want to tell about..."

"Allison, go to class." Severus snapped, stepping forward.

"You haven't told him yet?" I gasped. "He doesn't know you've told Emily and Fred everything?"

"What does she mean by everything?" Remus implored. "You told Emily Smith and Fred Weasley about everything? Alice go to class, Severus and I have much to discuss."

"Uh..."I stared awkwardly between them for a moment. "I love you both." I exclaimed pulling them both into a hug before backing out of the room. "Please don't curse each other, for my sake. Sev, I'll see you in class later. Remus I miss you. Please don't curse each other." I backed out of t he office and raced towards Herbology so as to not be late.
