"We do not know if we will still be this world when you finally get this letter. One thing you need to remember is that it doesn't matter if you retire the life of a hunter never leaves you. All we have ever known is the life of a hunter. We have sacrificed so much for this life and we have many regrets but what we do not regret is the friends and allies we have made and the choices that gave us you dear children. Rapunzel I have to take you away because it's the only way to keep our family safe. I have spent hours debating if I should raise you a hunter or a child. In the end to raise you as a child won. I know as I write this you will find them again. Your destinies are intertwined; you are each other's fates. Care for each other."I stopped reading.

"Keep going". Merida said.

"The writing is different". I said.

Hiccup came over and took a look.

"It's my father's writing". He said as he began to read.

"We know you are all strong we knew it the days you were all born. We are sorry you must be separated but it must be done to keep you all safe. My son, you have sprit never let anyone take that away from you. If I know my luck as well As I do, I doubt I will be there with you when you read this but never forget my son it takes more than bronze to be a hunter, it was clear at an early age you would be the brains of this team. No offence to the others. I am so proud of you and I know you will be a great man". Hiccup stopped ready and handed the letter to Merida who was almost in tears.

"Merida, my love you are a born leader, but a good leader listens to others. I love you so much and so do the others. You have the life and sprit of your father. If you are anything like me you will let the life of a hunter almost consume you. Don't let that happen live your life as a child and a hunter. Rapunzel has always been like you sister if you have to listen to anyone let it be her. Have patience when it comes to the boys because if you are like me you will find you would be lost without them. Be brave my darling". By the time she was finished Merida was really in tears. Jack took the letter from her and read out loud.

"My son don't blame yourself for your mother's death because I know for a fact that if she could see what an amazing person you have become at such a young age she would be as proud as I am. My son, my dear Jack, do not let this life take away your humour, laugh whenever you can. Work hard and be yourself and don't ever forget your father loves and your mother did to. You will provide the joy and laughter to this team I know it.

Children, you will each give something to this team fun, brains, bravery and love. None of you are unimportant, your are equals and we love you all with all our hearts. To my son Jack, my sweet Rapunzel, my love Merida and my pride and joy Hiccup, care for each other and live life as well as hunt. We will always be with you wherever you go no matter where ever we are when this letter finds you. As of now as you read this you are now Blood Busters ( it was the eighties let it go) you are faster, stronger and smarter and we know you will have a whole lot more attitude. We love you. Your parents". Jack finished as he sat beside me on the sofa.
