25. Chapter 20 Chunin exams finale pt 2

AN: I'm actually doing this. Feels kinda odd writing again in my "unique" format. Was kind of surprised how much people wanted me to come back and ever since that update, I've been gaining even more readers. This past month was not spent waiting for the reviews no, since that part came relatively quickly. It was spent on research and brainstorming ideas of how to make everyone in the series stronger since this is obviously a different continuum from the original series. Also a refresher on Naruto history since I've become fascinated with other anime and my knowledge is a bit rusty. Might make a possible Katekyo Hitman Reborn story and I recommend people watch this. It's gonna last you awhile and be patient with this anime, starts off slow. Other shows include Fate Series (Zero & Stay Night), Magi, Log Horizon, Your lie in April, My Little Monster (romantic comedy), Parasyte the Maxim, Akame ga Kill, Kuroko's Basketball, No Game No Life, Gurren Lagann, Aldanoah Zero and Magic Kaito 1412. Yeah, the year I was gone has been spent in Crunchyroll.

Chapter 20 Chunin Exams Finale pt 2

-2 hours later-

The stadium is filled once again, now bursting with energy and excitement over the upcoming match between two Uchiha prodigies. Bets were made in between countries and no one could wait any longer. Win or lose, this was going to be one hell of a fight.

It's finally starting! Goku said excitingly as he looked down from above in his dream world so to speak.

Check mate. Kakarot said.

Ehhhhhhhh what turn was that? It can't be over already, you cheated! Goku accused.

See for yourself. Kakarot said calmly.

Man, not even Shikamaru can beat me that fast ... what's your secret? Goku asked.

Many years of experience and Shenlong did compliment me of being a master tactician. Kakarot said.

So it's going to be a match between my friend/teammate and my girlfriend. Don't really know who to root for. Goku said earnestly.

My money is on the girl. Kakarot said.

What makes you say that K? Goku asked

No reason … except for the fact that she has a complete set of Sharingan eyes, knows every one of her sister's moves and the fact that Sasuke is cursed. Kakarot said.

Besides the point of Sasuke being cursed, how do you know about the things about Chichi? Goku asked.

Do you think I spend my time doing nothing inside your body? On the days you rest your body while we were training for this exam, I've been monitoring everyone that's been training here in this village. Kakarot said.

Than you shouldn't know anything about Sasuke then considering he went training outside of the village along with Naruto. Goku said.

Is it me or are you saying that you think Sasuke stands a chance and is going to win? Kakarot asked.

I didn't say that, I'm just saying the possibilities are endless. I've always known those two to be hard workers. Who knows, he might have found a way around the curse. Goku said.

Kakarot dismissed the shogi board as he now stood on his legs inspecting the arena below.

Well whatever the case is, this is going to be good. Kakarot said anticipating to spectate the battle between the two Uchihas.

Goku and Kakarot descended to the audience's level towards where the rest of Team 7 were going to the match.

I always did tell my friends that I would be with them in spirit. Goku said absentmindedly with a small smile on his face. Even when he's right in front of them, there's no physical way for them to see or even feel his presence at all.

Well then, mind as well enjoy the show. Goku said.

-With Team 7-

Kakashi-sensei, what exactly did you teach Sasuke in the past month. Naruto asked.

Hmmm … well you're just going to have to wait and see. Kakashi said which only made Naruto frown with impatience.

Their eyes then wondered to the stage were Chichi and Sasuke stood from one another. In a few bleachers to the left stood Pema where she was observing her sister and her opponent. Looking at the two, it reminded her of the old days where she and Itachi were still friends and would spar against one another. Fate has funny way of doing things as watching this reminded her of the time when she had to face Itachi in her as well as his first time participating in the Chunin exams. It was the finals and one power play move made by Itachi insured his victory over her. What can she say, Itachi was simply the best when it comes to utilizing the Sharingan. Although Itachi had a head start over her when it came to the Sharingan, she completed her set before his. In myth it was said that the first person to ever possess the Sharingan was a woman and considering that woman mature faster than men, they usually have it easy when it comes to obtaining a perfect set of eyes yet it was Itachi that won and it was Itachi who surpassed all others in utilizing its power even when she mastered it before he did.

Will history repeat itself I wonder? Pema asked herself in amusement.

-Center stage-

Ladies and Gentlemen today is the match that you've all been waiting for, the battle between two prodigies, Uchiha Chichi vs Uchiha Sasuke. The announcer called.

While the referee continued to hype up the crowd the two fighters looked at one another with slightly grim faces. This was after all, a battle between two people from the same clan. Both of them having experienced Itachi's nightmare; a clans member killing everybody within the Uchiha compound. It left a bad taste in each of their mouths but neither were planning to hold back nor lose the fight.

I'm not going to hold back just because your Goku's girlfriend or the fact that we're from the same clan. Sasuke said.

Ditto. Chichi simply said.

Both fighters didn't need to say anymore as they got into stance.

I'm not going to lose! Both screamed in their minds.

Ready … Begin! The ref screamed as he immediately teleported out of the arena as both fighters activated their Sharingan.

Katon Gōkakyū no Jutsu! They both screamed as both fighters expelled a giant orb of fire out of their mouths which ended in a clash. The two orbs became one giant ball as it started to melt the ground beneath and eventually exploded destroying anything within the immediate area as both fighters shielded their eyes from the flying debris and wind pelting their bodies.

Sasuke was the first to recover as he sent many shurikens flying towards Chichi. With the Sharingan ability, Chichi was able to see the path of the flying projectiles and act accordingly as she expertly dodged them while running towards her foe making a quick seal which went unnoticed by her opponent.

Sasuke gave a slight smirk as he tugged the wires connecting with his shuriken which propelled them back towards him as they were now flying towards Chichi with her back faced towards them. However Chichi was already aware of the wires as she was now point blank with her opponent. The shuriken struck her back as her body fell towards Sasuke only for her to start expanding until …

{Boom}

The attack sent Sasuke flying a few feet but managed to land on his feet but it wasn't over as the real Chichi emerged and aimed at one of Sasuke's pressure points only for Sasuke to backflip and get out of her reach.

Bunshin Daibakuha, is that just another technique you learned from your sister Chichi? Sasuke asked.

Hmph you sound angry Sasuke, something the matter? Chichi asked as she got back into stance.

Just where do you think your sister learned that technique? Sasuke asked while getting into stance.

Sorry to say Sasuke but that wasn't Bunshin Daibakuha. It was just a normal Kawarimi no Jutsu with an explosive tag on my replacement. It's pretty elementary Sasuke, don't get so worked up. Chichi said as she came charging in.

A close quarters combat huh. Sasuke thought as he also came charging in. Both fighters started and clashed with a roundhouse kick. Seeing no point or a need for a power struggle, Chichi lowered her leg and made a slight jump and gave a spin kick towards Sasuke which he ducked. She landed on her feet and went for a low kick which he evaded.

Konoha Senpuu, you're really reaching bottom of the barrel if you decided to copy and use that. Sasuke mocked as he was coming for a counter attack only to see a third kick coming his way which he managed to block with his arm. Her other leg was raised coming in for a heel drop. Sasuke released his hold on her leg and raised both his arms in a cross and defended against her last attack. The force of the attack made Sasuke flinch as well as take a knee. Chichi back flipped using Sasuke's arms as a spring, away from harms reach.

Wrong again Sasuke, Konoha Daisenpuu. Chichi said.

The crowd was in awe of the current display of skill as neither managed to do any serious harm to the other but it was looking more favorable towards Chichi's favor.

I don't know about you Sasuke, but I don't like dragging out fights longer than it should be. Chichi said as she started to loosen her neck.

She can't be using that, it's way too early! Kiba said with even Shino looking slightly worried.

Chichi gave a slight sigh as she started to tense her body and looked angrily towards Sasuke.

It's coming! Kiba said in panic.

Ha! Chichi screamed as there was now an aura of chakra around her body, her eyes were narrowed and there was now a scowl in her face as she looked seriously towards Sasuke's direction. She looked at her hands before clenching them tightly. The chakra around her body started to get hot and sporadic.

What's happening? Sasuke thought in slight panic.

It was then her hands started to turn red until … they were alit in flames.

Fire empress mode. Shino said.

Siphoning the nature element chakra to a very high degree giving her the ability to burn anything she touches in the palm of her hand. Kiba said.

WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO HER! Naruto exclaimed.

Now this is an interesting development. What will you do now, Sasuke? Kakashi said.

Sensei what happened to Chichi? Naruto asked. Both Goku and Kakarot faced the white haired man also wanting to hear an explanation to which he just sighed.

This is kind of rare. It's somewhat similar to the 8 celestial gates without the self-damaging drawbacks. It's called awakening mode and in her case with her hands now ablaze using her nature element, true awakening mode. Kakashi said.

True awakening? Naruto asked.

It's pretty much a state of high tension. Jutsu's, strength, speed, and agility sky rocket in power. However it puts an immense strain in your energy supply and usually it doesn't last very long. I wouldn't worry too much. Sasuke can still win this. Kakashi said which got surprised looks from both Goku and Naruto.

Chichi stared Sasuke down to gauge a reaction out of him and see if he was going to give up but received no such reaction.

Is that supposed to intimidate me? In my perspective the only thing you've successfully done was get your hands on fire. Don't think I'm going to be beaten by something like this. Sasuke said however when he blinked she was no longer within his peripheral vision.

For the record, I never did like you. Chichi said as she punched Sasuke in the gut and hard.

You're brash, arrogant, selfish, stubborn, insensitive towards others and narrow-minded. Chichi said as she continued to pummel Sasuke to the ground ending it with a fiery punch in the chest which sent him flying to the stadium wall.

Is that all you've got to say? Sasuke asked as he got back on his feet and wiped the blood off his mouth. Chichi was shocked at the lack of injury that he sustained.

Well in any case, you might have a point. I'm not a very good judge of character but even so, there are still people who accept me for who I am and I'm grateful for them. This past month I've been going under a mental and spiritual journey. I still have a strong hatred towards my brother and I still plan to bring him down with my own hands but I know now that it's not something I can do alone and I accept it. Sasuke said which got surprised looks from everyone.

You accept it … you still look the same to me. Chichi said.

Then it's not only me that's a bad judge of character. Sasuke said.

I do admit, the curse still on my neck still has some influence over me. I still think the same way that I used to because of it. There is still darkness in my heart and I still possess the same stubbornness of not wanting to accept anyone's help but … something as little as this is not going to stop me from getting stronger. If I have to throw away my pride so be it. As long as I gain the strength to protect what matters in my life. I'm done living in the past. Sasuke said and for a second, a silhouette of Goku was standing beside him.

So you've adopted Goku's way of thinking to attain strength. Chichi asked.

More or less. Anyway, I acknowledge your strength and it seems I need to use one of my three trump cards. Sasuke said as he gripped his left arm with his right as he began powering it up with chakra.

Chichi continued to observe Sasuke until a sound of a thousand birds started to ring in her ears as lightning started to surround Sasuke.

Chidori. Sasuke said which only got a smirk from Chichi.

She got into the same position as he did until lightning started to surround her own body.

Should have guessed considering your sister copied this technique from my sensei. Sasuke said as the two Uchihas glared at one another utilizing the same technique.

For her to be able to use Chidori while in awakening mode is indeed impressive but an error on her part. Kakashi said which again got surprised looks from everyone once again.

C'mon sis you can do this. Pema said.

Enough talk, let's do this. Chichi said as she came charging for an attack the same with Sasuke. The drawback of Chidori being that you can only move in one direction as well as the fact that there was a speed requirement so neither party plans on dodging this technique. As they drew closer to one another, they thrust their arms forward. Both opponents stood a few feet away from each other now with their backs turned.

Blood started to spurt in the air as there was a slight cut on Sasuke's shoulder. Chichi smirked at this until there was as sudden burst of pain on the left side of her ribs as there was a nasty cut on it as she coughed up some blood.

What happened, my awakening powers should have made it more powerful? Chichi thought.

It's because of your awakening mode that I decided to gamble with this technique. Because of it, I knew that you're main element wasn't lightning but fire. Unlike you, I actually spent the time learning this technique instead of just copying it. I can utilize this move much better than you can and the fact that lightning is my natural element gave me the edge. Having an affinity has three advantages, one you get a larger effect from the same amount of chakra. Two, if attacked with that element you take less damage and three if attacked by that element, it partially restores your chakra of that element. Basic knowledge of nature manipulation. Sasuke said.

Chichi just gritted her teeth as she went to the wound on her side. She needed to close off the injury to stop the bleeding. So using the fire on her hands she cauterized her wound and closed it off as she screamed in pain, a temporary fix.

I won't make the same mistake. Chichi said as she glared at Sasuke.

I was hoping that would put you down but guess not. I don't want Goku to be too mad at me for hurting his girlfriend too much. Guess it's time for trump card number 2. Sasuke said as he sighed that he had to go this far in order to beat his opponent.

He raised one of his arms, clenched his fist, coiled it back and thrust forward and out of the fist came a large stream of flames heading towards Chichi's direction. Chichi gasped and jumped above and out of the range of the intense flames but Sasuke wasn't done as he jumped in the air with her, doing a front flip increasing momentum as he was about to do an axe kick on her. She formed a cross in order to protect herself from the kick but she wasn't able to predict another wave of flames coming out of his kick as he thrust both of his arms towards her direction coming off as a giant flamethrower. Even in her fire empress mode, even when she had resistance to fire, these attacks hurt and burned.

Sensei … how is he doing all those jutsu's without any hand seals. As he continued watching impressed.

That's because he's using an ancient form of nature manipulation which predates back to our ancestors. This art is more primitive than our jutsu's since it doesn't have the ability to take shape meaning there's no shape manipulation involved but it holds an advantage over jutsu from the sole fact that it doesn't require hand seals. It's called bending. Kakashi said.

That's impossible. Kakarot said which caught Goku's attention.

What's wrong K.? Goku asked.

The ability and the art of bending died out long before even my time. There was nothing left of that era. Kakarot said.

Now hold on, Kakashi's not done explaining. Goku said.

Bending? Naruto asked.

Yes, nobody knows exactly how old bending is but in order to bend you needed a special type of chakra which happens to be our natural affinity. Kakashi said.

Does that mean I can bend? Naruto asked.

No, like I said Naruto you need the ability to use your natural affinity only by itself. I told you before back in the wave country, our current chakra source is different from the chakra where we use our element. As I've told Goku, elemental jutsu requires a special type of chakra than just the usage of plain chakra. They are two separate sources Kakashi said.

Why are they different? Naruto asked.

Well for one thing, we can't simply use our natural affinity by itself. Our current chakra networks can only manage to siphon what makes our second source elemental and we only take what is required for our jutsu to work. In one source, we have chakra in which we can form any shape we want with the right focus which gives birth to shape manipulation and the other source is our elemental chakra which makes our jutsu's well elemental. It was then I thought to myself, why can't we just use the chakra from our second source? It may be slightly different than normal chakra but chakra is chakra but then I came with a possible answer. It's been closed off. Kakashi said.

What do you mean? Naruto asked with Goku and Kakarot nodding there head in agreement.

Well just why do you think benders died out? Nobody knows the answer but one day they just lost the ability and eventually died out including the one the people called avatars. Before you ask anymore Naruto, avatars are known as someone that's able to control all of the elements of that time. Kakashi said.

Of that time? Naruto asked.

Lightning was categorized with fire back in their day, it wasn't an element of its own.

Oui are benders common knowledge? How does Kakashi know about these benders? Kakarot asked.

They're in our history books. Apparently during the first Hokage's rule an ancient temple was found filled with tons of manuscripts about avatars, bending and other stuff. The temple for some reason was filled with lots of obsidian meaning there was volcanic activity involved yet the texts within managed to survive. Eventually the place was cleaned out and all the manuscripts were moved to a neutral zone where all pieces of literature, data and even forbidden scrolls are stored called the Great Library. The temple was eventually remodeled and is currently the current Hidden Village of Cloud. Goku said.

If the first Hokage learned about bending why haven't they tried to learn anything more about the subject and expand on it? Kakarot asked.

It's like Kakashi said, it's primitive. Bending isn't as powerful as jutsu's so there wasn't any real point but what I like to know is how they died out. Goku pondered.

So how did you teach Sasuke how to bend and why? Naruto asked.

I wanted to help my student who was currently suffering. Kakashi said which got surprised looks from everybody.

Because of his curse, his chakra has been polluted and poisoned, he needed another source. Sasuke was currently trapped, he felt as if he hit a wall that he can't climb over. There was nothing he could do to improve himself in a physical manner so I decided to teach him and train him in a more spiritual and mental way and there's no better place to learn than the Great Library. Kakashi said.

Don't you need a special permit to go there? Naruto asked.

Luckily my own sensei pulled a few strings for me as a favor. Kakashi said.

Anyway I took Sasuke to this library and while getting there I taught Sasuke my own original jutsu, Chidori. Sasuke and I researched about these benders but of course there were a few complications since he preferred to train but I digress. Anyway, apparently benders used a different kind of chakra than ours and we also learned that the legendary avatar had the ability to take and restore people's bending which further proves my theory that at some point, this chakra point was closed off. There are some lee ways since we obviously can siphon this second source but by the end of our research, we were thinking things wrong the whole time. Kakashi said which got confused looks from everybody.

Our nature element, our affinity, our second source isn't a second source at all … it was once our original primary source to use chakra. Kakashi said.

Our primary source? Naruto asked.

Makes sense. Although saiyans have the ability to adapt, humans on the other hand have the ability to change. Kakarot said.

Explain. Goku said.

The human body always has ways of trying to fix itself so even when they become sick, tired or hurt, the body eventually fixes itself and go through changes albeit slowly. Whatever happened to the benders they lost that connection to their chakra so the body tried to fix itself by making a second vessel and it seems it took a good 2 millenniums to make that vessel for the sage of six paths to rediscover chakra. Kakarot said.

Again, how did they die out? Goku asked.

I'll ask Son, unlike me he actually paid attention to Shenlong's history of the earth. Kakarot said as he placed two fingers on his head and IT out and towards Son Goku.

So if our primary source got closed off, how did you fix it for Sasuke? Naruto asked.

We formed a bunch of theories and researched a whole lot until we stroke gold with a lucky find. Kakashi said.

What'd you find? Naruto asked.

We met Goe. Kakashi said as he went back to focusing the fight.

Goe? Both Naruto and Goku said.

-Back to the fight-

Sasuke released torrent after torrent of flames in Chichi's direction in which she could only block, evade or counter but she was running out of steam as her awakening powers were about to reach an end which only make things worse for her as she would lose her strong resistance to flames that her current powers offer her.

No choice then, I need to even the playing field. Chichi said as the angry scowl she once had on her face was soon replaced with a calm and serene look which caught Sasuke off guard.

Is she giving up? Sasuke thought as he stopped his relentless assault.

Kiba and Shino instantly knew what their friend was up to and worried for her safety.

If she uses that she's going to destroy her body. She hasn't mastered that yet what is she doing, the strain is going to kill her! Kiba said.

It's her choice and her battle. As her friends, we just have to believe she knows what she's doing. Shino said albeit a bit reluctant as he too worried greatly for his dear friend.

Sasuke looked at his opponent a bit unnerved as she was just standing there looking blankly at space.

She lost that angry scowl she had before meaning her sudden transformation should be ending right? Sasuke asked himself but then his eyes wandered to her hands which were still lit.

Can't take any chances, especially with her. Sasuke said as he sent a burst of fire out of his hands towards her.

As the flames came at her, she instantly vanished from Sasuke's peripheral vision as he was soon socked in the face from a fist from none other than Chichi.

She's gotten even faster. Sasuke noticed as he back flipped and landed on his feet while whipping the blood that was coming out of his lips.

Forgive me for any transgressions I have said about me hating you. I admit I do feel the things I said out loud to a small degree but that's not how I really see you. In all honesty, I know nothing about you. I only said what I thought you were like based on observation. I can only imagine what your like but I don't really understand. You see, when I'm in fire empress mode, I usually hold nothing back whether if it's fighting or talking. I fight as if my life depends on it. Chichi said.

And now? Sasuke asked.

Now, I'm in a more controlled state of being. My previous form maximizes my capabilities and divides the power into separate categories evenly. Strength, speed, power, agility, stamina, defense and special ability. Now I control the amount I can give so one area can have more than another. Chichi said.

In this case your speed. I noticed that ferocious punch of yours had less flare than your last one. Sasuke noted.

That's not all. Chichi said as she raised her hand and pointed at Sasuke. Sasuke's eyes widened as fire busted out of her hands to which Sasuke blocked using an attack of his own.

It seems we think alike Sasuke. I too tried to think of ways to utilize my natural affinity much similar to benders but this was as close as it gets for me. My body siphons from its second source at a very fast rate to the point where I'm constantly drawing from it. As you know, hand seals tells our body the exact amount of chakra we need to use from both sources in order to use a certain jutsu. It's pretty much a language we tell our own bodies of how much is needed, an exchange between asking and receiving. Now that I managed to keep the flow going, I can use as much as I want when I want, hand seals no longer being a necessity but it does come with a fair share of drawbacks. The fact that I'm constantly using chakra without rest, I'm going to eventually run dry. Chichi said.

I on the other hand have full control over my second source but the thing about benders are that, their chakra, our second source is not only limited to just that. Chakra is everywhere in our bodies. The spine, the sacrum, the stomach, the heart, the throat, the forehead and the crown in our heads, the reason we think it's only one separate source is that fact that that's where the buildup ends. Sasuke said which only got a confused look from Chichi as well as the whole audience.

Benders have the ability to use their element at any part of their bodies including the feet or even the slightest movement of the head. Sure there are people who can enter a full body element such as Gaara and the current Raikage but it's nothing more than a cheap imitation such as what you're currently doing. Sasuke mocked which made Chichi glare at him in anger.

Our "secondary source" is actually more potent than our current source and its pathways are different than our chakra network. With these new or should I say old pathways, I can freely control my natural element as I deem fit. It was never from the fact that benders lost their ability to bend, but the pathways has been closed off to a permanent degree to a point that not even the byakugan can see. I am not really sure how that happened for everyone to lose that connection but I do know that it can be fixed with the right training. Sasuke said remembering his encounter with Goe.

-Flashback-

Sasuke and Kakashi were sitting on a table reading text after text of ancient books on bending while forming ideas, theories and hypothesizes to try and find a way to be able to use his second source.

I think our second source isn't actually our second source at all Sasuke. Kakashi said which made Sasuke look as his sensei questionably.

What makes you think that? Sasuke asked.

Because Sasuke, none of these text ever reference plain chakra. I think somehow someway, the benders lost that ability to bend and our bodies eventually needed to make a new source, our current source to be able to use chakra again. The siphoning process seems to have diluted the chakra so that only energy was left but none of what made that chakra elemental remained. Our current source, our chakra network is only half of what it should be based on the law of equilibrium since somehow our original pathways have been cut off from the rest of our body. Our "second source" only having two pathways left which is the formation of our current source as well as a "meeting point" to create a jutsu of an elemental nature. Our current source gave us the ability to give shape to our attacks, shape manipulation but the most we can do is siphon but not truly use. Kind of like comparing a sink to a pump. We can siphon water using the pump and use what is only required while a sink, we utilize water as much as we want. Kakashi theorized.

There's no way you can prove that sensei. Sasuke said dryly as he was getting frustrated with all this research only to see it fruitless, unhelpful and a waste of time.

Actually, he's right. A mysterious voice said as both Konoha ninjas turned to see the other occupant sitting behind them with his nose buried in a book. He placed a bookmark on the page he was on and turned to face them with a kind smile on his face.

The man in front of them was tall and he was buff. Based on the dark tan of his skin, Kakashi assumed that he was from the Hidden Village of Cloud which made him a bit wary of him all things considered ever since the incident concerning a certain prestigious clan but then remembered that this was a neutral zone. A barrier was placed here in the Great Library that prevented the use of chakra and you couldn't enter this library bringing a weapon either. There were guards that thoroughly checked too. And finally seal stamps have to be placed on their hands which prevented any form of taijutsu ineffective, punches and kicks now only having enough force as getting hit with a pillow. The effects of the seal wearing off once you leave the library not to mention that they were grounded too as there were seal stamps on their legs as well. Security was tight here.

Hi, my name is Joe with a G so it's Goe. The man greeted as he extended one of his hands to Kakashi to which the other just awkwardly returned the gesture. Kakashi didn't know it but there was something … off about the man in front of him. There was something regal about him.

And exactly why is he right? Sasuke asked a bit rudely.

Well actually I've read every book about benders. You can say that I'm a professional in this area from Guru Pathik to Guru Laghima I know em all. Goe said with pride.

You're only bragging, you still haven't told us why he's right. Sasuke said which the man only laughed.

I guess I am, then let me explain myself. Goe said as he explained about the avatars ability to take away someone's bending as well as fixing it with the reason being that the pathways can be closed or open through the fifth element of that era called energy bending.

There's something I never got. During the bending era, everyone could only use one element besides the avatar. Why is it that we can use multiple elements even when it's not our natural affinity? Sasuke asked referencing those who possess bloodline limits as well as the fact that most jounin level ninja's can wield at least 2 elements.

Oh that's because the era of benders predates when every bender only married inside of their own bending arts meaning earth benders would only marry earth benders as well as fire benders only marrying fire benders and so on and so forth. It's been so many centuries since then and by now our blood as well as our chakra should now possess more than one element but naturally, everyone has a preferred affinity. Back then, lava bending was a unique form of earth bending but in actuality, it came from the creation from a mother and father, one possessing fire and the other possessing earth. If the child in question can find the balance between the two arts, then he or she would be able to lava bend just like the four tailed jinchuriki, Roshi. So in essence, the child possess both elements but whether he or she was more earth or fire is somewhat left to chance but in the end, he or she would still possess that other element only for it to remain unused since such knowledge wasn't that common at the time. Goe said.

Isn't that more or less an issue now? Sasuke asked as it was extremely uncommon for someone to marry to another village.

Well, marriage wasn't an issue after a few decades from the rise of avatar Aang and continued to stay like that until well, the formation of the hidden villages. Goe said.

Anyway back to energy bending. In order for avatars to energy bend they have to be in the avatar state. Goe said as he then explained what that was.

Not to be rude but we already know that stuff, we just want to figure out how to actually get that back. Kakashi said in which Goe just looked surprised and gave them sheepish look.

Really, is that all? Then you should have said that sooner. Goe said as he was suddenly standing on an orb made of wind which made both ninjas look at him in surprise as chakra shouldn't be possible to use here.

How are you doing that?! Both Kakashi and Sasuke exclaimed which prompted them to get a resounding shush sound from the other occupants from the library.

I'm air bending, what's it look like? Goe asked while still having a smile on his face.

Come with me. Goe said which they followed as they left the library.

As you know, in order for the avatar to fix or take away someone's bending, they must be in the avatar state. Goe said which got nods from both people.

Back then, the avatar state was only possible to use when placed in a desperate state of mind or environment such as being placed in mortal danger or experiencing extreme emotions such as anger or grief. For the avatar to control the avatar state at will, they had to be in control with their chakras. Goe said as he glanced at them to see if they were following along.

Chakras are nexuses of metaphysical or biophysical energy within the body. There are seven chakras, each situated at a different location in the body, albeit all located on a central vertical axis. Each chakra has a purpose and deals with a different emotion. As such, each one can be opened and closed depending on a given individual's state of mind. When a chakra is open, energy is free to flow about the body. On the other hand, energy flow is restricted when a chakra is sealed. The chakras must be opened in a specific order, or the energy will not be able to flow. Goe said as he continued on with the lesson as he demonstrated an example as he used a series of connected pools as an analogy to illustrate the concept of chakras.

These pools, represent the chakras, and are connected by waterfalls and channels, and are blocked by algae or muck, which represent an individual's own emotional debris. Due to this, the water, which represents energy, stagnated and could no longer pass through the channels but when the clogs of algae are removed, it symbolizes the opening of the chakras. It now allows the water to flow through the channels again, streaming through each pool fresh and clear. Goe said.

After reading on this, I was curious what would happen if a normal person like me were to go through these phases and sure enough poof, bending powers. Goe said with amusement.

So if I go through these phases I can bend myself? Sasuke asked which made Goe put on a serious look.

I'm only going to tell you this, going through these phases is not easy to handle and as you get older, it only gets harder but seeing as you're still a child, it might be possible and trust me, this form of training is going to change your life and your prospect of things. Goe said.

I don't care, as long as it makes me stronger. Sasuke said which made Goe frown a bit.

Now hold on, I didn't say I was going to teach you. Goe said which got surprised looks from both ninjas.

We just met after all, how do I know that you're going to use this power responsibly? I'm going to tell you this now, bending isn't as powerful as jutsus so I was under assumption that you guys were fellow scholars like me but for you to use bending in search of power, I'm not sure I can condone with your actions. Goe said with his arm crossed which made Sasuke pissed.

Now that they were out of the Library, they were free to use their chakra's again in which Sasuke quickly attacked Goe in anger as he was about to punch him in the face to which Goe only surrounded his body in a barrier of wind and pushed Sasuke back. As Sasuke was about to attack again with one of his jutsu's, a strong gust of wind escaped Goe's hand as Sasuke was blown back to a wall. Goe grabbed Sasuke's by the neck as he calmly looked at the boy struggle against his grasp. The moment Sasuke opened his eyes, Goe was able to see Sasuke's past and read him like an open book. Kakashi was immediately behind Goe as he was about to use Chidori in order to protect his student only for Goe to grab his electrified hand, release Sasuke and point his other hand in another direction as lightning was released from it . Although it was a fire bending sub skill, wind also possess the ability to redirect and control lightning which is why wind happens to be superior to that element. Kakashi was shocked from this and was then on his knees as an orb of wind surrounded Kakashi's entire head as he was gasping for air, unable to breath. A very deadly air bending move. As he was about to pass out, Goe released his hold on him as he was now coughing up a storm to regain his lost air.

Even if primitive and not as powerful as jutsus, it still lethal and can seriously hurt people. If you want my help, show me your resolve. Now, I'm going to ask one and only one time, why do you want to learn bending? Goe asked seriously.

Sasuke looked at Goe angrily before sighing in defeat.

I can't stand being weak. Always getting my life saved, leaving my friends in danger because of my incompetence to protect them, always having to rely on someone else to clean up the mess you made and …. Sasuke paused as his mind wandered to both Naruto and Goku from his time in the Wave Country as well as the forest of death.

And? Goe asked.

I want to get stronger so that I don't need "their" protection or "their" help. I want to be the one that protects "them" because ... Sasuke paused again as his mind was now on his team.

Goe waited patiently for his answer as well as Kakashi who finally recovered from his ordeal.

Because they matter to me and I want to keep them safe from harm, from everything. Sasuke said as his mind then wandered to darker territories aka his brother. Konoha's most wanted and most dangerous missing nin. Goku may have beaten him once but Sasuke knew just how terrifying his truly was and that whatever Goku did, he was lucky to get out alive.

Goe smiled.

There's nothing quite like the power of wanting to protect what matters. Perhaps he can get through this. Goe thought.

Alright, you pass. Goe said with a grin on his face before looking serious again.

Again this training is seriously tough on an emotional and spiritual level. You have to be mentally prepared. Goe said which Sasuke only smirked.

I've already been through hell, anything you do will be small in comparison. Sasuke said as he remembered the night Itachi left the village. He was on his way home and on the way, he encountered his brother … who was splattered with blood everywhere. When Sasuke questioned him about it, let's just say he lived and seen everything that could and would have happened that night if things went according to Itachi's plan. Seeing his parents as well as his clan murdered. The emotional scarring wasn't as bad as Goku's as Sasuke was able to get back up on his feet the next day and for most parts, he was in a trance on the day off from that tragic day and was in denial of the things that transpired only for the next day he was left angry, bitter and wanted to be left alone as everyone was giving him weird looks and stares while others gave him looks of sympathy which he hated even more. Then there was the little scuffle he had with Naruto.

Goe smirked again knowing he was in good hands as he started moving with Sasuke and Kakashi following. Goe found a comfortable place to sit as it had a nice view of the land and breathed a sigh of content and sat in a meditative position. He gave Sasuke the indication to follow as they now sat in front of the other.

You can join us if you want but like I said, the older you are, the harder this is and if you fail to pass through any of the chakra points after you finish the first one, you'll never be able to cure yourself from this. Goe said which Kakashi nodded and decided to keep out of the training but listened intently in case he changed his mind.

According to the scroll that I read, we start with the earth chakra. This chakra is located in the base of the spine. It deals with survival but is blocked by fear. Goe said,

As soon as Sasuke focused his mind and listened to his instructor, the moment he opened his eyes he was entirely in a different world as he was now face to face with his greatest fears. Goku and Naruto were both in front of him smirking deviously.

What? What are you guys doing here? Sasuke questioned as he was then pushed back from a very powerful aura from both his teammates as Goku was now incased in a red aura with Naruto pretty much in a same state only that his eyes turned to slits and his whiskers was more defined.

We're stronger than you Sasuke, you'll never catch up to us. Both of them stated as they began to leave Sasuke behind.

Wait! Sasuke screamed but was then falling as he was now face to face with last person he ever wanted to see deep down in his heart even when his main goal in life is to kill this man.

Itachi. Sasuke said before his brother's eyes turned to the Sharingan and the tomes in his eyes started to spin until it was in the shape of three spiraling curves. Sasuke immediately closed his eyes before he once again was in that nightmare world again, Tsukuyomi. He watched his clan and his parents get slaughtered in front of him as he continued to scream and begged his brother to stop. It was then Itachi's eyes was on Sasuke as his right eye started to spin. Sasuke was then encased in black flames as he screamed in pure agony.

Sasuke, what you're seeing isn't real, get a grip. You are concerned for your survival but you must surrender those fears. Don't fight, accept those fears for what they are and don't be afraid, because fears are stories that we tell ourselves, fear is a matter of choice. You don't have to believe in them because what you see before you, hasn't really happened, you're alive. Goe said as Sasuke opened his eyes again and looked at Itachi as he was no longer on fire. The world around him started to disappear as Sasuke continued to let go of his fears. The last thing he saw was Itachi smiling at him like he used to back when he was still a good person. Sasuke was now in front of Goe again.

Very good Sasuke. When I had to fight my inner demons, it was a terrifying experience. Goe said with a small smile.

Let's keep going. Sasuke said feeling confident.

Very well. The next chakra is the water chakra which is located in the sacrum. This deals with pleasure but is blocked with guilt. What is it that you blame yourself for? Goe asked.

Sasuke opened his eyes as he watched Goku fend for himself against Haku.

Harino Sename. Haku screamed and Sasuke immediately recognized that jutsu. He watched himself try to defend with Goku as his back support only to see that he was the first to fall and watched Goku get mercilessly stabbed needle after frozen needle as over two hundred of them was lodged at his back as Goku tried to shield both Naruto AND himself.

I left Goku to fend for himself. I wasn't strong enough to even be of use after all that talk about him and Naruto being idiots and dead lasts. He counted on me and I failed. Sasuke said as he was then transported to the forest of death where he was knocked out once again from a bite from Orochimaru as Goku and Naruto was left to fend for themselves as he was being carried away by Sakura. Sasuke started to grip his hands tightly in anger at himself for his incompetence as the scene before him fast forward as he saw himself as well as Naruto and Goku passed out from injuries after the fight on HIS behalf.

I'm always relying on them to come save the day. Sasuke said as he continued to watch Goku.

I just want to be strong like them, so that I don't get left behind. Sasuke said.

You are stronger than you realize Sasuke, but sometimes you need to accept the reality that bad things happen and there's nothing that you can do about it. But to improve one's self is not hard to do. As long as you have the devotion and resolve to fight, then you'll be sure to catch up in no time. But the first thing you need to do is forgive yourself from all the blame you placed on yourself and let go of that unnecessary burden. Don't let it cloud and poison your energy. Just let it go. Goe said in which Sasuke inhaled and exhaled deeply and opened his eyes to face his instructor once more.

Goe smiled in pride once again and continued on with the lesson.

Next is the fire chakra which is located in the stomach. It deals with will power and is blocked by shame. What are you ashamed of? Goe said.

Sasuke closed his eyes and once he opened his eyes again, he watched himself beating the life out of Zaku with all those black marks on his body. Right when he was about to break both the guy's arms he looked at Sakura's face as she looked on horrified out of her mind and he remembered all the other times he made her cry out of worry for him and all he thought of her was that she was a nuisance but she's a really sweet and well-meaning girl.

Is this what I really am? Am I bad to the core? Sasuke asked himself.

Everybody has their own inner demons and dark sides Sasuke it's nothing to be ashamed about. You were protecting your teammates, you were protecting what mattered to you. You need to learn to accept every part of yourself, even your mistakes. Mistakes after all can be easily fixed. Goe said as the world around Sasuke changed to one of team 7 all smiling happily at him and extending their hands and holding it out for him in open arms.

They accept you for who you are, it's time you learned to accept yourself. Goe said.

Sasuke smiled as his illusionary world faded and was face to face with his instructor.

That concludes today's lesson. We'll continue the other 4 chakras tomorrow. Wife's about to clock out of the library. Goe said as he looked at his watch and rushed back to the library waving goodbye.

So Sasuke how was it? Kakashi asked.

Intense. Sasuke said while he wiped the sweat off his forehead and smiled which caught Kakashi off guard and then remembered what Goe said about this training regimen that it was going to be life changing.

That Goe guy sure is interesting. Kakashi said out loud to which Sasuke only nodded.

I could use something to eat Kakashi. Sasuke said as both student and master went to a nearby restaurant and just talked. Kakashi doesn't remember the last time Sasuke ever talked so much in one evening let alone start the conversation that didn't end in an argument. He seemed to genuinely have a good time as Sasuke's mind then wondered to his teammates with a thoughtful look.

They're going to be in the shock of their lives. Kakashi thought that as his student was getting, well less broody and glum.

This might just be for the better. Kakashi finally thought as he drank from his cup of tea.

The next day came as the librarian came in to open up the Great library along with Goe as he kissed his pretty wife in the cheek as he sat down at a nearby table only to see Sasuke and Kakashi already in his presence.

You're here early. Goe sighed as he placed the bookmark on the same page he had on the previous night.

Well, mind as well finish the training. Goe said as he left the library along with his new companions so to speak.

Once they returned to the same place they sat in the same way and started meditating.

The next chakra is the air chakra which is located in the heart. It deals with love but is blocked by grief. Lay all your grief out in front of you. Goe said.

Sasuke closed his eyes and as soon as he opened them, he was a child once more getting piggy backed by his brother as he winced when he felt a sudden jolt of pain at his right ankle. His brother was teaching him the history of the Uchiha clan and the formation of the police force while giving him the same reassuring smile he always used to give.

Why would this be my grief? Sasuke asked himself as he watched his brother slowly start to change into a monster as he began to act violently towards the other clan members with the threat of ending them. It then fast forward back to the nightmarish world Itachi placed him in as he once again watched his clan members get slaughtered along with his parent.

I thought I passed the earth chakra and accepted my fears. Why am I seeing this again? Why is this my grief?! Sasuke screamed as he could only look away as he watched his mother get pierced straight into the heart.

The pain you felt of losing the brother you once held in high regard as well as the grief you felt of the thought of being the last of your kind. You felt trapped, lonely even and even though you may despise your brother now, that doesn't mean you truly got over the hole he left behind in your heart and because of this, you've grown bitter, angry and rather distant from everyone else. Always wanting to accomplish things on your own and become an avenger. Don't get me wrong, you still are and can become that. That's what you're meant to be. Everyone has their own roles to follow. However the love and happiness you once felt isn't truly gone. You've trained yourself to be a warrior but that doesn't mean you have to do things alone. You are a very fortunate person Sasuke. You parents are still alive and they love and care for you. Goe said as both his parents appeared before him devoid of any injury as they walked up to him and hugged him tightly.

The pain of losing your brother that you truly loved has left an emotional scar but love cannot simply be created or destroyed. It's a form of energy and it swirls all around us. The love you once had for your brother isn't truly gone but merely taken another form as it is reincarnated to form new love. Goe said

Sasuke was now relaxing in the grassy plains and as he got up, he noticed he wasn't alone as his fellow teammates were relaxing with him as he watched Sakura cooking the fish that Goku caught at a nearby stream while Naruto unsuccessfully tried to gain the affection of a certain pink haired girl only for him to get slapped in the face. His sensei sitting and relaxing under a shade of a tree reading his book like he always does while Goku looked hungrily at the fish that was currently getting cooked. There was a warm feeling in Sasuke's chest as a smile crossed his face as he began to chuckle at the scene before him. When he opened his eyes, he felt as if a great burden was lifted off his chest. Like Goe said, he was an avenger at heart and his goal to take away his brother's life still is his number one priority in life but for once in his life, the world around him didn't look so monotone. He took notice as everything around just seemed more … colorful.

You seem to have a different look on your face as if you're seeing the world around you for the first time. Goe said with a soft smile as Sasuke continued to look at the beautiful landscape around him.

His cold exterior is melting and the heart is best place to strike first, as expected of the air chakra. Goe thought to himself.

Anyway it seems you already have a deep understanding of who you are and what you want in life. You've already admitted that you want to be an avenger and you've already accepted the fact that you are capable of doing terrible things. You're a very honest person, Sasuke. You've already released the sound chakra located in the throat. It deals with truth but is blocked by lies. You've already released all if any denials and lies that you tell yourself. Goe said with Sasuke being glad that he didn't need to go through another emotional roller coaster ride.

The sixth pool of energy is the light chakra located in the forehead. It deals with insight but is blocked by illusion. You need to release all the illusions within yourself and the greatest one of all is the illusion of separation. The things you think are separate and different are actually one in the same. The benders were separated based on the elements that they bended but they failed to realize that everyone is the same exact thing and the thing is that everyone is a human being. History repeats itself here as once again, the ninja world is separated not by the elements but hidden villages. We all have a collective conscious but we live as if divided. If you truly want to make the world a better place, you have to see the bigger picture and not narrow it down to just one village. Goe said.

Kakashi looked at Goe and then to Sasuke as Sasuke stood in a contemplative manner as he continued to digest Goe's words.

Is he asking Sasuke to stop following the Hokage and Konoha? Kakashi thought.

I'm not telling you to betray your village but to have an open mind and try to understand and look at any given situation with some grain of salt. Look at the situation at all possible angles as well as various viewpoints. Don't just blindly follow orders or do things for the sake of duty. Think before you act. Goe said which made both ninjas sigh with relief.

Sasuke nodded his head as chakra was released from his body. The sixth chakra source being relatively easy as long as you pay attention to the lesson at hand. The concept is easy to follow but difficult to master but mastery not exactly being a requirement to unlock this chakra.

Goe and Sasuke were now at the final step of reclaiming what was lost to him as he was about to uncover his bending art.

The final chakra is the thought chakra located at the crown of your head. It deals with cosmic energy but is blocked by earthly attachments. Meditate to what attaches you on this earth. Goe said.

Sasuke was then face to face with team 7, his family and Konoha as a whole now truly appreciating the things he currently possess. Warm and caring parents, good friends that he would be with through thick and thin and the home he grew up in that gave him all these blessings.

Now … let all those attachments go. Let them flow down the river … forgotten. All the things you've grown to love, release those attachments. Goe said which Sasuke immediately opened his eyes in shock, looking questionably at his instructor for an explanation. The reason he made it past all the previous chakra's was due to his thoughts of his friends and now he's being told to forget them.

I understand your doubts Sasuke, not many people can get past this point. We live in a wonderful world after all but point of this exercise is learn to let things go and make sacrifices. Goe said.

Sasuke gave a slight sigh giving it a try as he sat at a meditative state. He came this far and he wasn't going to quit now.

Realize that letting go of these attachments, doesn't mean that they disappear. They'll still be there waiting for you to return. You are now at a higher state of being. Now, let the pure cosmic energy flow through your body and fix what has been lost. Goe said.

One by one Sasuke watched his friends leave him as he ascended to the darkness of space as he was now facing a giant version of himself with glowing eyes holding a purple ball of energy. A road was made for him and as he got closer, the same feeling of melancholy was returning to him the closer he got to huge purple ball of energy.

Was this really worth it? Sasuke thought to himself but then steeled his resolve as he reminded himself what his number one priority was, to kill his brother. Everything else comes later. He entered the ball as he was now absorbing everything that his body can take.

Sasuke opened his eyes and as he stood up, off from the ground. He felt a surge of power going through his system. He felt, refreshed. He felt whole again even when he wasn't even aware that half of himself was missing this entire time. As Sasuke was about to see if he could control lightning without the aid of hand seals, he was shocked as fire came out his hands instead.

Did something go wrong? Sasuke thought.

Almost as if he heard Sasuke's mind he then told Sasuke that lightning was a secondary element to fire meaning in actuality he has two elements up his sleeve. Sasuke practiced a bit getting used to his newfound powers. No matter how much fire he exhausted out of his hands, he didn't feel tired. Bending was as easy as breathing.

Although chakra is a necessity in order to bend, bending doesn't actually use chakra at all. The first Hokage only saw Guru Pathik's scroll as nothing special since well, not a lot of people can understand it. The translations only shown and made it look like the religion of Buddhism, the path of enlightenment. The only reason I understood it was because I spent years trying to decipher what everyone thought as useless text only mentioning a time long forgotten but I saw how truly valuable this information was combined with the other texts. You know if benders still existed and did this exercise, the ability to bend would only get stronger meaning the pathways of that chakra source would expand and allow more output. The avatar state in essence is just that. The chakra source now being able to use more output making there bending powers seem more powerful than normal when in actuality, it's just a limit release for them. The reason that this method is able to fix our old pathways is the fact that it's a forced expansion. The only unique thing about the avatar is that he or she can bend more than one element. Everyone has their own avatar state so to speak. However not many can do this and most don't even know about this training at all. The avatar was a special case as they took great care not to take advantage of their powers of easily entering this state. For them, they actually could have remained in the avatar state as long as they want but the reason that they don't was that dying would have some sort of effect on them I'm not exactly sure what though since that was actually lost in translation with the words being burnt off, aged and unreadable but it has something to do with some sort of cycle. I'm guessing they didn't want to appear as tyrants even when they already had a great amount of power in their hands. Goe said.

Sasuke nodded to Goe's words. It was then he started to focus really hard and try to conjure up lightning, his natural affinity and when he did, lightning started to surround his body. He pointed to a nearby boulder and released it which promptly pierced through it. Sasuke looked at his hands in astonishment before he decided to test another thing out. He raised his left hand and supported it with his right and concentrated hard. Before he knew it, sounds of a thousand birds resounded coming out of his arm and when he shot it forward, and pierced through a tree, he found the attack to be even more powerful and he doesn't feel all that tired even when his limit was two.

With the addition of a second vessel or in our cases our current primary source, it gave us the ability of shape manipulation. Now that the pathway to the "meeting point" where the jutsu is made has a stronger and larger pathway to go through, output levels are going to be off the charts not to mention that our original source not only doubles our overall chakra output but the chakra that it possess is more potent since the natural affinity isn't as diluted. Your elemental jutsu's are going to pack more of a punch than it ever did. Of course only limited to fire and thunder jutsus in your case. Goe said.

Sasuke nodded once again before giving a slight bow in gratitude which no other sensei ever got from him. He then started to leave as he needed a bigger training area as he began to brainstorm the possibilities of combining bending with jutsus. Kakashi sighed following close behind but not before he too gave a smile in gratitude as he then chased after his student. Goe smiled at this and returned to the library where a certain librarian was waiting for him to come back.

Was there really a need to hide your real name Mr. Goe? She asked, a smile plastered on her face while it looked like she was containing her laughter.

We're alone now, you can stop calling me that. Goe said getting a little annoyed.

But it's so funny, Mr. Joe with a G. She said only for her companion to sigh.

You don't want to anger me now do you, Satsuki? Goe said a bit darkly but unfortunately his wife was unfazed by his dark look or his tone of voice.

Oh please, you would never lay a finger on me. Satsuki said as she fixed her long white hair.

Oh, I have other means than resorting to violence and you know it. Goe said.

But you know where that would get you if you were to do that. Satsuki challenged meaning no sex.

A man of my status shouldn't be treated like this. Goe sulked only for Satsuki to laugh.

I'm just teasing, no need to be so dramatic. Satsuki said before closing the space between them as her lips were now close to his ear for only the two could hear her next choice of words.

A man of your status shouldn't be such a big baby now should he, Guardian of Earth. Satsuki smiled innocently which only made him smile despite himself.

Say my name. Goe said as he was now dangerously close to his wife's face with the former now having a slight tint of rosy cheeks on her normally pale face.

I still got it. Goe thought as he continued giving his wife a sly smirk.

I love you … Uub. She said as they shared a passionate kiss before they broke apart as she still had a job to do and must remain professional while Uub just returned to his table and continued to read his book with a bored look on his face. Both parties knowing that they were going to get some action tonight to compensate.

-Flashback end-

I'm back! Kakarot said as he stood looking at center of the arena watching Sasuke and Chichi duke it out.

So what's the verdict? Goku asked as Kakarot just looked at Goku with a thoughtful look.

It was the arrival of Kami, or more specifically the creation of the dragon balls. Kakarot said as Goku looked at him confused making Kakarot sigh as he explained what dragon balls were and who Kami was.

Kami came to earth when technology started to boom. Namekians have a rather strange growing patterns as each ages vary differently between each of their kind meaning one Namekian can be fully matured in a few years while others can in few decades like humans. Kami being one of the few who matured at a much faster rate than normal. His spaceship crashed to what was used to be called Yunzabit Heights and stayed there for a few years before he explored the world. With him being well … not human, he wasn't really accepted by the common people. Kami on the other hand stayed wary from them since it really wasn't his planet to begin with so for most parts he remained alone, isolated until he was adopted by the Guardian of Earth of that time. Kakarot said which Goku looked confused again making Kakarot sigh in frustration as he began explain what the role of Guardian of Earth was.

It wasn't long before Kami became the next Guardian. During that time, there was a war going on as there were problems between benders and non-benders called equalists, those who followed a person named Amon who started a revolution even when he was labeled a fraud. The avatar of that time tried to handle the situation peacefully but couldn't stop the inevitable. Things were looking grim and at that time, people lived along with the spirits from a different dimension called the spirit world but with all of the negative energy swirling around, it was corrupting them and the avatar had to separate the two worlds once again before things got even more out of hand. Kakarot said.

Again? Goku asked.

Earth at its early stages had humans and spirits living in the same world albeit divided. It wasn't until the first avatar that appeared and separated them to a different world seeing how dangerous it could be as humans have some effect on them turning them into dark spirits. Kakarot said as Goku nodded.

Kami at that time wanted to help out the humans but since he can't really leave the lookout he lives in, he decided to help them indirectly with the creation of the dragon balls. Kakarot said as Goku looked at him questionably.

Exactly how would that help them? Goku asked.

Kami didn't really care how the war ended, he just wanted it to end. He sent his seven balls to each separate region of the world. The fire nation, the southern water tribe, the northern water tribe, the newly formed earth republic formally called the earth kingdom, the newly formed air nomads, republic city and one was given directly to the avatar of that time. Kakarot said as Goku nodded once more acknowledging that he was following along.

No one knew what these magic balls did until Kami disguised himself as a monk and told the avatar what they were, trusting that the avatar would know what to do and what to wish for. The reason he sent them all over the world instead of giving them all to the avatar was because he couldn't reveal that he was its creator. He made them so that it appeared out of nowhere, a gift from god which he was to them to show he didn't just favor one person or place. However information got leaked somehow and well, it was now a war to get these magical balls and make a wish. What Kami tried to do to help in his sort of way backfired as the war only grew more intense. The equalists had the upper hand as they had greater numbers and was led by Amon's self-proclaimed number one disciple and become the new Amon. He was the first to gather the balls and made the first wish. He had a strange ability to render all forms of bending useless. Anyone within a ten feet radius could not bend if they were within his barrier so the only thing you could tackle this guy with was hand to hand combat which he was apparently very proficient at as he was trained by the first Amon. Kakarot said.

And what was exactly the first wish? Goku asked.

To rid the world of bending as well as an end of the avatar cycle and finally let the world and the people in it, to be finally equal. Kakarot said.

Did it work? Goku asked.

Of course it did and to prove it, Amon number 2 killed the avatar and there was no new one to follow as well as the fact that everyone in the entire world no longer had the ability to bend. The spirit of Rava, the one that made reincarnation possible for the avatar was destroyed along with Rava's counterpart Vaatu since the wish asked that avatars and bending no longer exist and since these two make it possible to just make another avatar. The wish in essence destroyed both the light avatar and the possible dark avatar. The pathways to their source of chakra which made it possible for the benders to bend were closed off, never to see the light of day until the next 2 millenniums with the appearance of the Sage of Six Paths. The war ended and everyone eventually moved on and adapted to new changes. Not everyone was happy but that's how change is. Eventually a new source of energy was found called ki which were products of martial artist of around the world, the first to wield it on earth proficiently was named Master Mutaito. Another dark age followed with the appearance of Kami's dark side named Piccolo but that's another story. With bending no longer existing, there was a major increase of better technology as in a mere 500 years compared to 10,000 years since the first appearance of the avatar, the future was theirs with the creation of flying cars, mobile homes, capsules and other things following the ascension of Capsule Corp as they changed the world. You can just dig the rest of Son's memories if you want to know the rest. Kakarot said as he was tired of talking and explaining to what he sees as an idiot. His eyes then wandered back to the fight as Goku continued contemplating what Kakarot just said.

It was because of the dragon balls as well as Kami that changed the world as well as the events leading to this moment. Goku thought as he buried himself into BG's memories.

If dragon balls didn't exist … then this blue haired lady … Bulma would never have left on a journey and find the dragon balls hence never discover BG. If BG never left the mountain, he would never have been strong enough to defend the world of future threats. In fact, bending would still exist if Kami never landed on earth. How much have the world have changed if aliens never migrated to planet earth. Goku wondered as his eyes then trailed back to the fight as well.

-Back to the fight-

It was Sasuke's turn to receive the brunt end of Chichi's attacks instead of the other way around. Her speed being beyond what Sasuke's Sharingan can pick up. With her ability to change any one of her core abilities made for a difficult fight. At one moment she's fast then another very strong even rivaling Sakura's level of strength. Her ability to project fire out of her hands in a form of a blast negates his fire bending and even if he manages to nick her, she would change herself one again to fit a very resilient body to just tank it and go for an immediate counter.

With her body constantly changing to suit her needs, can she really keep this up? Kiba asked.

If she had a fully matured body then I wouldn't be so worried but she's not. She still has the body of a child, she won't be able to keep this up for long which is why she needs to end this fast. If she runs too fast, she's going to sprain an ankle. If she hits too hard, she going to break her own bones not to mention transitioning between outputs is immediate meaning while the force of the punch she attacked with is still rebounding against her own hand, her current form may be able to sustain the damage but if she transforms to another while the force still applied on that hand, her other form might not be able to do the same. Shino said.

She has to be careful or she just might end up hurting herself more than her opponent. Kiba finished as they both returned to watching the fight.

This is getting ridiculous. Sasuke said as he managed to block a quick jab to his face but was unable to block against the oncoming kick. The kick was weak since she sacrificed her huge strength with speed but if she were to mainly focus dps, it's eventually going to wear him out.

Well then, no matter how fast she is, she can't out speed lightning. Sasuke said as he closed his eyes and once he opened them, his hands started to form electricity as he focused hard to locate his opponent. Now that his body was producing lightning, he felt the electric current going on and about in his body as his senses were heightened to a higher degree, this ability deriving from the third Raikage's lightning armor. With this ability added with his Sharingan, he pin pointed Chichi's location and fired to his right, finger pointed as the lightning struck right in the center of her chest as she was sent flying. It was fortunate for Chichi as she increased her resilience and defensive capabilities at the last second but it didn't change the fact that the lightning attack hurt a lot.

It was said that lightning was extremely lethal element of that time. I have to be careful not to kill her. Sasuke thought.

Chichi got up on her feet once again as she grasped her chest in pain.

Alright, no more. It's do or die. Chichi thought as she placed all her powers into special ability to conjure her strongest fire attack. With a great leap, she raised both her arms which were still lit with flames as she generated a giant ball of condensed fire. She released it towards Sasuke's direction in which he tried to stop it with his own fire bending abilities only to see it strengthen the ball of fire.

This is just like Goku's spirit bomb against that monsters attack. Sasuke thought as he remembered Goku's spirit bomb absorbing the positive chakra of whatever Gaara's monster form attack was.

As he watched the ball coming towards him the only thing he could think of doing was using his final trump card as the ball of flames were getting closer.

Kage bunshin no jutsu. Sasuke said as another clone of himself appeared right next to him.

Well isn't this interesting. Kakashi said which got questioning looks from Naruto and Goku.

What's he planning? Naruto asked as he watched giant ball of flame slowly making its descent towards Sasuke.

Well as you know, Sasuke can bend both lightning and fire but not at the same time. Its either he's fire bending or generating lightning. It's like trying to look at two different directions at the same time. His body can only generate one element at a time since he can only focus one element at a time. So while one body is to focus fire and another body to generate and focus lightning, just what do you think the generated energy goes once one of the clones disappear? Kakashi asked as realization dawned on Naruto since after all, cloning was his specialty.

Sasuke's clone started to generate lightning and once that happened, Sasuke dismissed his clone and immediately felt the effects as power surged within his body. Sasuke clapped his hands together before separating them, fire in his right hand and lightning on his left, a new element has been born.

This idea came from researching blood line limits. Something Sasuke has been fascinated about since his fight with Haku. Kakashi said.

Honton rasen doriru no jutsu! (Blaze release: spiraling drill) Sasuke screamed as he swung his arms around forming a spiraling vortex of fire and lightning as it easily pierced through Chichi's ultimate attack and made its way towards Chichi.

An attack that can be compared to a Kekki Genkai … you truly are a genius. Chichi thought as she closed her eyes accepted her fate as the attack was coming her way. She opened her eyes as she felt no pain and found herself to be in the arms of her opponent.

Like I said, Goku would kill me if I did too much damage to you. Sasuke said as Chichi gave a slight smile

How did you get to me before your own attack? Chichi asked.

Your fireball attack slowed it down enough for me to get to you on time before the attack did. It's a move I call light step. I can move faster than lightning for a short distance and like Chidori, I can only move one direction and can only use this when I'm using fire lightning mode. Sasuke said.

Fire lightning mode? Chichi asked.

It's a chakra mode much similar to your fire empress mode but with two elements so my creation isn't a perfect bloodline limit. I'm able to generate both fire and lightning at the same time and conjure up jutsus mixing the two, Honton. Sasuke said.

I guess ... this is your victory. Chichi said as the fire in her arms dispersed and her Sharingan deactivated as she passed out. Sasuke lifted her up, surprised at how light she was and carried her to where the paramedics were waiting.

Winner, Uchiha Sasuke! The ref screamed before the whole crowd had gone wild while others groaned as they lost a bet.

Gah … and I betted on the girl too. Kakarot said as he was disappointed that Chichi lost.

Told you so. Goku said.

He's not the only one, Naruto. Sasuke said as Naruto looked up at Sasuke with surprise as he didn't call him a dobe or dead last but was looking at him with all seriousness.

I want to fight you too. And I'm going to beat you along with everyone else. Sasuke said which made Naruto smirk himself.

We'll settle it in the ring then. We'll finally get to see which one of us is really the strongest and I'm not going to hold anything back. So until then Sasuke, don't lose. Naruto said as he held up his fist which made Sasuke smirk as well.

You're on. Sasuke said as he fist bumped his rival before both went their separate ways.

AN: This isn't the first time I delayed a chapter and certainly not the last. Although a bit of a bad idea to do right when I make a comeback. The length of the chapter in my estimation was supposed to be around 5-6k worth of words but due to complications of executing the Sasuke vs Chichi fight, the chapter itself has doubled and almost tripled in length of my estimations. (around 14.5k) I'm sorry if this chapter is not to your liking. I was a bit anxious on releasing it since well, too much exposition. I also apologize to those who don't watch avatar AND the legend of Korra as you might not understand the chapter as well as other people. So, Sasuke can bend, has something akin to a new bloodline limit, and has twice his original chakra output. Let's not forget about Goe either. How many of your guys saw that coming. For those who think the guardian should be Dende this story takes place over a thousand years after GT. Kami and Guru from Namek only lived to be around 300-500 so do the math. Uub is human I know but I made him guardian since he fused with majin buu which made him whole again who lived to be over 5 million if you include his time sleeping so I made Uub immune to time. I know I promised no more OC ahem Satsuki. Let me rephrase, I won't make any more OC that are relevant to the story. For Pete sakes I made Pema's and Chichi's parents named Ko and Xing and you hardly see them at all in the story. Same thing applies with Uub's supposed wife. If you didn't know, Ko and Xing spells Ox King in an anagram for a clue as to who Pema's mystery sister was. Awakening mode and True Awakening mode comes from the video games if you were wondering. The level of research on this chapter is OVER 9000! Seriously more research on Naruto verse chakra and Avatar verse chakra than any research paper I've ever written and to correlate them together was a huge undertaking. I'm not even sure I made it clear enough to explain it and if not, going to delete this chapter and work on it again which if you want to risk another delay on the next chapter, be my f*cking guest. Next chapter, hopefully not as long as this piece of shit, seriously f*ck it. (love you guys XD) Neji vs Naruto.
