Chapter 25
**Livvie POV**
Livvie was oblivious to the discussion that Tig and Juice were having, as she bolted to the door to take her where Happy was. The tears that she had been fighting to not fall had won. She was trying to wipe her eyes and face as she slung the door open. She paused in the doorway to let her eyes adjust so that she could see into the dark garage bay.
With Jax's cruel words racing on repeat in her head, and the havoc that was being played with her emotions she was already exhausted. Her fight to remain calm and all that she had worked on in treatment was almost gone. There wasn't much more that could happen that wasn't going to undo all of her hard work and progress. She was one strand from snapping and bringing that darkness that still lived inside her out of its cage.
Livvie couldn't understand why the garage was so dark, if Happy was in here. If she had not been so occupied with her mind elsewhere she would have paused and questioned that there was no lights on inside the garage. She would have paused before blindly bursting into the situation.
But some part of her, knew that she needed to pause and collect herself. She wanted Happy to take away the pain from Jax's words but she didn't want to bring out the darkness in him. She needed him to soothe her pain and reassure her that the doubts inside her from those words were silly and complete bullshit. She didn't really want him to lose it on her cousin; she just wanted him to be set straight. Most of all she needed to know that everything that she had felt from the moment Happy had kissed her on this very lot was real and not some fantasy in her mind. Jax spoke the words that verbalized every single fear and doubt that she had from the moment she had fallen for Happy.
She stopped until her eyes adjusted and she could see somewhat in the dark garage. Livvie waited a few moments until she was confident that she wouldn't fall and break something, her breathing calm, and the tears were just falling silently. Only when she was better in control did she moved forward to find Happy.
Livvie didn't see him in the first 2 bays that she walked through; it was only a slight noise that she caught from the back of the furthest bay that indicated that she wasn't in the garage alone. The noise was so faint that she could not tell what it was, it was almost like a soft moan. As she walked closer she heard another sound that almost sounded like a person saying "Shhh." But that didn't make sense to her, why would anyone be hushing someone in the garage.
She walked around the dark SUV that was on the rack sitting in a state of suspended work, did she see anyone. At first she thought that she saw Happy leaned against the wall and it appeared his hands where doing something with the pockets of his pants. She wanted to laugh because she was positive he was fumbling for his lighter. He always had bought the cheap small ones because he said it was more cost efficient, and it got lost in his pockets.
But after she rounded the van, she froze the scene fully now in her vision. He wasn't digging in his pockets; he could not have reached them since they were at ankles. No, his hands were occupied with the hair and head of the Croweater from last night. The same Croweater that had been the "Livvie-Decoy" was now occupied swallowing all of Happy down her throat while on her knees in front of him.
Livvie was so surprised and stunned by the sight in front of her that she couldn't move, couldn't speak, all she could do was watch. She watched as Happy moved the woman's head back and forth on him by pulling the dark hair. She watched as Happy moved his hips to move himself deeper into the woman's throat. She heard the woman moan in pleasure as she serviced him. It was the moan that snapped her out of the frozen state she was in and she whipped her eyes up to Happy's face.
He was STARING dead at Livvie, he knew that she was in the garage, he knew that she was seeing this. His dark eyes meeting her own and locking their stares onto each other for what seemed like an eternity, all the time Happy NEVER stopped what he was doing with the Croweater.
Livvie realized at that moment he did not care if she witnessed this. It was like a slap in the face when it hit her that he WANTED her to see this.
It took everything that she had not to scream and attack the couple in front of her. She wanted to snatch the bitch off her man. She wanted to physically hurt them both or die trying. Her darkness was out of the cage, it wanted blood for the pain and betrayal that flowed inside her. Livvie didn't fight it or let it control her, she essentially embraced it. It flowed inside her with the pain and hurt, like blood in her veins. For the first time ever Livvie owned it and accepted that it was a part of her, a part that she could use to her advantage.
**HAP POV**
It wasn't her "catching" him or even her being there that stopped Happy in the middle of him getting off. What made him freeze was the look in her eyes as she embraced the darkness inside of her and the chilling smile on her face that she gave him before turning and walking out the garage. It was the way she stared at him those final few moments with her eyes almost as dark and feral as his own, the almost predator like smile on her face, the arrogant tilt of her head, and the way she stalked out of his line of vision.
He shoved the girl off of him, not caring that he wasn't gentle or that she fell back on her ass on the hard cement floor. He jerked his pants up and fastened them. Happy quickly walked out the garage latching his belt as he went. He wasn't trying to stop Livvie or going to apologize, in his mind he was doing what needed to be done. For her, for the Club, for everyone other than himself it was the right thing.
He braced himself for the scene that was about to happen, he had played all the scenarios out in his mind already. Except nothing that he imagined is what happened, the one that actually happened in reality.
Happy paused in the dark bay for a moment to gather his thoughts and composure, to push down the fear inside him of what he had witnessed with Livvie. He didn't want to admit that he had recognized the transformation that brief moment, to admit that would mean that Livvie had become him. He would have to accept that he had accomplished what even the sick bastard had not been able to do, that Livvie had been broken past the point of redemption.
He walked outside with the usually swagger and cockiness, his eyes finding her instantly. The dark haired beauty in the hot pink and white, whose heart he had just shattered. She was standing with Tig and Juice at the picnic table, talking and laughing as if nothing had just happened. He walked towards them, confusion racing inside of him, she wasn't in tears or being crazy. She was FUCKING LAUGHING AND TALKING.
Just as he reached them she turned and faced him, he was the only one that could see the expression on her face. He froze at the hate he saw flash in her eyes for a brief moment, the Killer inside him recognized it as what it was a threat. But then it was gone and there was cold stare of nothing, a stare that translated that he was nothing.
He didn't move a muscle has she walked past him and into the clubhouse.
"What the fuck happened?" Tig asked him the moment she was inside and out of hearing range. "I thought you were ending it."
"I did." Happy told Tig, accepting the smoke that Juice handed him. "She walked in on the act."
"WHAT?" Juice asked as he looked from Happy to the clubhouse where Livvie had disappeared inside and then back to Happy again.
"She walked in on you getting lip service and didn't freak out?" Tig asked, disbelief echoing in his words. "She didn't kill Hot Lips did she?"
"No, Hot Lips is fine." Happy answered shaking his head. "She saw us and left."
"But..." Juice stammered with a loss of words. They had all expected Livvie to lose her shit and there chaos that would happen. Her lack of response threw them all off.
"Brother you might want to get in there and make sure she isn't burning anything to the ground." Tig suggested after a few moments.
"Happy you really might want to go inside, Heather just walked in the clubhouse." Juice said suddenly, tension in his words and body language as he got off the table.
"Heather?" Tig asked, confusion on his face and Happy's at the name Juice had just said.
"Hot Lips." Juice said with a grimace and a shake of his head.
"SHIT!" Happy swore and tossed his cigarette to the side and turned to walk into the clubhouse.
The three of them entered the Clubhouse expecting there to be Drama and Chaos, but there was nothing. Livvie was with Gemma at the bar talking softly. Happy knew without a doubt that they were up to something. But he knew that Gemma would not let it blow up until the shit with Zobele and crew was handled, and neither would Livvie.
Happy caught Jax's eye and nodded that he had done what they had planned. But he couldn't convey that it had not gone exactly has planned with Livvie's reaction. He watched Jax whisper something to Tara, and the women then get up and head over to Gemma and Livvie. He moved closer to hear the low exchange between the three women that was happening. He couldn't see Livvie's face but he could see the smirk on Gemma's and the shocked expression on Tara's face that also quickly turned very pale.
"Don't come over here and pull that fake "I love and care for you" shit with me, Bitch." He heard Livvie hiss quietly to Tara. "You betrayed me, you set me up, and you are just as guilty as anyone of them!
"Livvie, I didn't..." Tara started.
"Know this I am NOT going to New York City, and NOT doing what is told to me. Trust and believe anything that I do or don't do is on my terms. Also make sure you let my cousin know that this shit that went down today, I WILL NEVER FORGIVE HIM FOR. Every single person that was in on what just happened to me just met the Reaper, because all of you are DEAD to me. This round was on you all, but the next one is mine." Livvie said the retribution that she would take rang clearly in her voice even if she was barley talking louder than a whisper. "Stay the fuck out of my way Tara, and this warning is only because of Abel."
Livvie then walked off with Gemma towards the back, leaving a stunned and shaken Tara. I moved in the line of vision that Jax had to stop him from seeing Tara at this moment. I knew that Tara had seen the same thing I did in Livvie earlier.
"What did you do to her?" Tara asked me the moment she caught my eye. "What the fuck did you do to her?"
"I made sure that she saw me in a moment with Hot Lips in the Garage." I told her, hating to admit that aloud.
"Did you and Jax plan that?" Tara asked, shock all over her face.
I just nodded.
"Fuck!" Tara exclaimed. "You all screwed this up. Livvie isn't going to New York and Gemma is right there in her corner. You fucking dumbasses made it worst."
