A/N: hello...? I'm so sorry for another late update! Oh my gosh its the holidays but i've been super busy and i'm trying to make an araidia cosplay and i've had no internet because i've been on a british road trip- okay ill stop but seriously I am super super sorry! Another thing I am sorry for is all the supernatural references. You'll be happy to know that there's only a minor one in this chapter It was written whilst heading from harry potter world to my aunties in london so... I know its a bit short but I think its fine how it is... maybe...

Hogwarts and Hetalia- chapter 25

Russia twirled the basilisk fang between two fingers, his violet eyes always fixated on the diadem lying innocently on the table in front of him. Belarus held her fang loosely in one hand, yet her expression was sharp, cold, dangerous. Japan stood slightly back from the siblings, the fang that he had been given gripped in a dual handed grip.

"So." The only woman muttered, studying the diadem with icy blue eyes. "We need to destroy this."

"Yes." Japan agreed. "And the sooner the better."

There was a slight pause as the trio looked upon the horcrux in front of them.

"Who will strike first?" The Asian asked, running an elegant finger down the length of the fang in his hand.

"I will." Russia spoke for the first time. The other two nodded in agreement as the tall man took a step forward. His two team mates moved into position on either side, Belarus on the right and Japan on the left.

"This room is nice." The Russian commented. "It would be a shame to destroy it. Lets get this over with quickly."

With that, he held the fang over his head. One hand twitched to hidden daggers, another was laid to rest on a sheathed katana. Russia brought his hand down with all his strength. The fang easily pierced the diadem.

Then all hell broke loose.

There was an inhuman scream. Dark smoke rose from the hole in the diadem, swirling around the room. The three countries could only look on as the snake formed a giant black snake.

"What is that thing?" Belarus shouted, trying to make herself heard over the screaming. She attempted to push her blonde hair out of her eyes as it was being whipped about by the wind, but to no prevail.

"I think its all the dark energy in the horcrux coming together!" Japan replied, tightening his grip on his basilisk fang. "It's forming something evil!"

Russia had withdrawn his fang from the horcrux and was now watching with wary eyes as the smoke stopped pouring out of the diadem. The head of the snake ducked down until its fathomless red eyes were level with violet ones.

"Ahh yesssss." It hissed, a black tongue flicking out of its jaw. "Ivan Braginssssski. Or sssshould I sssay... Russssia?"

The man showed no fear, simply regarding the snake with a stony gaze.

"I know ssso much about you. All your hopessss... and all your fearssss..." The snake paused, quickly looking at the other two. They were watching on but had their basilisk fangs gripped in their hands.

"You could have been sssso great." It whispered, slithering closer. "You could have ruled the world. But you're weak... you let the chance sssslip away..." "You're wrong." Russia spoke. "You can be sssstrong again." The snake hissed. "Join with me and you can rule the world..."

The Russian went to say something but the snake interrupted.

"No one loves you. No one even likes you! You're all alone in the world... not even your ssssisters think of you with love. Everyone'sss sssscared of you, sssscared of what you could become... sssscared of what you might do... Join with me and we can sssshow them the true might of Russia... Join with me and we can rule all..."

"Don't listen to it!" Japan cried. "It's trying to draw you in!"

"Don't agree! That's what it wants!" Belarus pled, deftly pulling a knife from its hidden sheath.

"Shut up!" Russia yelled. "Shut up the both of you! You don't know what it's like! I was alone for most of my life! Beaten up almost daily by those I thought of as friends! Then I became strong... and it was great! I had power... people actually listened to me! And now I'm weak and friendless again..." He turned to the snake which was smirking (as much as a snake could smirk, that is). "I accept!"

"Excellent. "The snake hissed. "Now... kill them."

~oOo~ "

Do you think they're okay in there?" America asked, absently drawing strange runes on his hand with a permanent marker. "They've been in an awful long time."

"They'll be fine." England answered, taking a sip from his cup of tea.

"I agree with bushy brows over there." France said, which was met with a 'what did you just call me you wine drinking wanker?' from England. "Those are some of the strongest nations in the world. They'll be fine."

"If you say so..." America muttered. He threw the pen up in the air and caught it, eyes never leaving the door.

The tall man spun around to see Japan and Belarus staring, disbelief evident in their eyes. He brought out his pipe from seemingly no where and advanced towards them.

"Brother... what are you doing? Both Ukraine and I love you... why are you doing this?" Belarus howled, holding her knife in front of her. "We love you! Please stop this!"

"That's the problem!" Russia cried. "Only you love me! Only you aren't scared of me! I just want some friends!"

"This isn't the way to go about it!" The woman countered. "People will be even more scared of you if you carry on like this! People are scared of me, and I don't really have any friends either, but you don't see me trying to take over the world!"

"This is the only way... I'm sorry sister!" The purple eyed man swung the pipe. Belarus ducked and deftly swung her feet out, trying to trip the Russian. Ivan noticed the attack and dodged. He ran forward and tried to grab Natalya, but she ducked again and held her knife out in front of her.

"Hurry it up Kiku!" She cried before jumping back as Russia tried to hit her.

"I'm trying!" Japan retorted as he dodged the snake, which had snapped its head forward in an attempt to bite him. The Asian man ran, jumping over the snake's huge tail in an attempt to reach the diadem. It was lying on the table, looking as innocent as it had before.

"Evil creature... spawn of the devil... I banish you back from whence you came!" Kiku cried, bringing the fang down on the diadem The snake screamed that inhuman scream as he kept stabbing, piercing the metal of the beautiful tiara. Russia stopped and turned towards the snake and Belarus took that chance, dropping to the floor and swinging her legs around in a large sweep and hitting the Russian's legs. He was sent crashing to the floor and Belarus sat on top of him, a knife held at his throat and him trapped underneath her.

"I've always wanted to do that." She smiled triumphantly as her brother stopped squirming and simply looked at her, a mixture of emotions in his eyes. The snake was still screeching as the smoke which it was mad of returned into the diadem. Japan kept stabbing, never stopping until all the smoke had returned. There was a moment of silence before a burst of bright light shot from the diadem, filling the room. The Asian covered his eyes while the blonde woman screwed hers shut. When it had died down, they were left with a diadem punctuated by many holes sitting as innocently as it had at the beginning.

The woman turned to her brother, who was looking scared. She brought her hand up and slapped him across the face.

"You idiot!" She yelled. "What were you thinking, agreeing with that thing?"

"I don't know." Ivan admitted. Belarus slapped him again.

"Just... don't do it again." She muttered.

"I won't. Erm... can I get up now?"

"Oh... sorry." Belarus grinned sheepishly before hopping off her brother. As soon as the Russian was up, she leapt on top of him.

"Now marry me!"

"No! Belarus!"
