Chapter 24- Revenge Plan

"Well look who decided to show up," a voice called out from him from deep within the room.

"Yeah well you didn't give me much of a choice seeing as you have my children," Punk called out to him as he walked into the dark room. "Why don't you just turn on the light and we can talk about this."

All he heard was a sinister laugh coming from inside, "You really don't know who this is do you? After all the clues that I left you in the letters, you still haven't figured it out. Well you want to talk, so let's talk."

Suddenly the lights went on revealing the person sitting in the middle of room and Punk couldn't believe what he saw, "No, no it can't be…Luke?"

"Yeah it's me, the one and only. Man you should see your face," Luke laughed as he stood up and approached Punk. The closer that he got the more that Punk could see all the burn scars that were all over his body.

"But…but…you're supposed to be dead. I mean they had to identify you through your dental records because you were burned beyond recognition. How the hell did you survive?" Punk asked still thinking that none of this was real. There was no way that his dead friend was standing in front of his alive and well.

Luke just laughed and picked up a bat that was leaning against the wall right next to him, "Well I wouldn't have survived if Paul Heyman hadn't come back into the room and rescue me. Even then I was still covered in burns all over my body. As for the dead body that they recovered, Paul switched me with one of his dead workers and let him burn while one of his other workers switched our dental records. You see Phil when I was tied up before you came, Paul told me everything about you. He told me how you willingly worked for him, got rid of evidence for him, and even killed for him. At first I didn't believe him because I knew that you couldn't do anything like that, but when you didn't come back for me and saved yourself instead, that's when I knew that he was right. Then when he pulled me out of the building and got me private medical care, I swore my allegiance to him in order to get my revenge on you," Luke told him with a sinister smile on his face.

Seeing the bat in his hand, Punk slowly backed up into the corner and felt something wet on his hand. That's when he realized that the place was covered in gasoline like that night that Luke supposedly died, "Look Luke, I am sorry that you went through all that pain. From the bottom of my heart I am so sorry, but you gave me an order to leave you behind and I followed it. If I hadn't escaped then we would have both died in that fire. Besides it's not like I was okay with it Luke. I mean I was a wreck when you died and I used drugs to try to hide the pain."

"Don't you fucking try to make excuses Phil and don't you dare try to fucking talk about you being in pain. You don't know what pain is, because I have lived in nothing but pain for years. Paul had been paying for care for me to get me back to working shape, but thanks to you he died and I couldn't get the care that I needed. Not only that, but I had to live with all these scars for live and every time that I look in the mirror I see a monster staring back at me. All I kept thinking to myself was how could anyone love a hideous freak like me!" Luke shouted angrily at Punk. "However luckily for me about couple of years ago things made a turn for the better when I found the woman of my dreams that loved me for me despite what I look like."

"Thanks great Luke I'm really happy for you. It sounds like your life is really turning around, so why are you still coming after me? You could have just have easily forgotten about me and moved on with your life like I have," Punk told him still trying to calm this whole situation down. He was very uncomfortable being in this room especially that Luke had a weapon on him. Yes he had his gun, but one shot and the whole room could go up in flames.

Approaching Punk slowly again, Luke gripped the bat tightly as he felt his anger start to rise again, "Yes I could have done that, but when I heard about what happened to Amy. How could you do that to her? How could you send Amy to the hospital and kill her baby? What kind of monster are you?"

At this point Punk was lost, "What the hell does Amy have to do with this Luke? As I recall you didn't like her one bit. Why would you come to her defense now?"

"Because I love her that's why!" Luke shouted at him. "Yeah that's right I'm the boyfriend that Amy was talking about. When Heyman left to go find his son and ex, he left me here all alone to fend for himself. That's when I looked up someone who could help me and I ended up finding Amy. I explained to her what happened to me and who you really were while she explained to me what you did to her and how you left her high and dry. When I told her that I wanted my revenge on you, Amy quickly wanted to join me and what can I say, I guess that we fell in love. The only problem was that we didn't have a way to get to you."

"That was until we found someone who knew everything about you better than Heyman, when we found a note in our mailbox one day," a voice called out from behind them and when they looked they saw Amy walk into the room. "The man claimed to have the information on you and the money that we needed to help get Luke better. All we had to do was break him out of prison in England and he would help us get revenge on you."

Luke then came up to Amy and wrapped his arm around her, "Now getting this guy out of prison was the easy part, but getting you here back to Chicago where this all began was going to be a little tricky. Seeing as how your relationship with your parents was rocky and there was no way you would come back for them, we decided to hurt them to get to your sisters, because we knew that you would do anything for them. Once you came back here, our original plan with the boss was to have Amy seduce you in order to get you to cheat on AJ so that she would breakup with you, but now I guess our plans have changed. Isn't that right baby?"

Amy looked up and placed a kiss on Luke's lips, "That's right babe and I think this plan is better than the first. See Phil when we were at the café I really thought our plan was going to work especially since you sent AJ to the hospital. Unfortunately when you revealed your true feelings about me at the hospital and practically said that you would have regretted almost having a baby with me, I came up with this new plan. If you didn't want a baby with me, then you don't deserve to have any kids with anyone."

"So that's why you took my kids, because you're jealous of what I have with April. Are you nuts Amy? The only reason that I stayed with you in the first place is because I felt sorry for you and you supplied me with the drugs that I became addicted to because of you. We would have never worked out Amy, why can't you get it through your head? I love April and I am always going to love her. Now why don't you give me back my kids and we'll pretend that this never happened. I won't tell the police about this whole thing and you two could live your life together peacefully," Punks said hoping that his negotiation worked. If Luke and Amy were this twisted, then he feared what they would do to Ava and Jack-Jack.

"Now now Phil, why would we do that and go and ruin all the fun that we are having? No in fact I think we are going to keep this little cat and mouse game going and see if you can survive. Oh and don't worry, we'll tell your kids that you said hi," Amy smiled sinisterly and walked out the door to let Luke do his thing.

Once she was gone, Luke began to stalk his former friend slowly backing him up into a corner and the last thing that Punk saw before everything went black was the hateful look that now plagued the heart and soul of his former friend.

Oh man that was one crazy chapter. I can't believe that Luke and Amy are working together and that they are dating. Man this crazy. Also they gave us some good clues on who the boss is and similar clues were giving in the Eternal Power of Love specifically in chapter 66. Hopefully you guys can figure it out.
