Guest: E... now that's a hard one xD I don't think I can do it. There are still a few that need to die so... ^^''
Wee, finally I'll be able to post 2 ch. per week. Hope you guys like it =3
Nothing's mine, well other than miss spells. But you guys know the drill
CH. 24 Night chat
As Absalom sat in his tent thinking about how to reach Eden, a certain red-haired whip user came to mind.
"Wonder how she's doing," he thought and stood up.
He then walked out into the night. Due to the late hour, no one was awake – well other than the night watch.
Somehow, he just wanted to see her, so he quietly made his way to their tent. Once there, he thought he heard voices but told himself Strife was probably talking in his sleep. So he gently pushed the curtain out of the way and peeked inside. But what he saw he didn't expect.
He saw a shirtless Death sitting on the ground smirking, Fury wearing a red tank top, red shorts and black high boots, sitting on a cushion while Strife wore a black long sleeved shirt, black pants and signature helmet and was standing.
There was also another person there, sitting next to Fury. He had a red T-shirt with a hood and black pants with metal boots. He also had some sort of mark on his head.
"And that's when me and Death arrived to shot all of 'em Demons," Strife finished the tale while holding his guns and faking shooting.
Only after he finished did the four siblings notice their new guest as he sweat dropped.
"S-Sorry," he said bowing his head.
"Who's that?" the blue-haired male asked.
"That is my friend – the one I told you about," Death said, stood up and said: "Care to join us?"
"Me?" he asked looking around.
"No he meant your sword," the male twin joked as the female rolled her eyes.
The bulky Nephilim's burned up in a deep red color as he gave a nod and entered the tent.
"A pleasure to meet you Absalom," the youngest of the four smiled and offered a handshake.
"Nice to meet you too…" he said looking at the male a tad confused.
"Don't act like you don't know him," Fury chuckled.
"I'm not acting."
"Hmm then figure it out. Only we use this tent yet he's 'ere. He has blue hair like someone ya know and we clearly trust him. Ain't that a hard one?"
The non-family member looked at the boy closer and then it hit him. No literally - Strife smacked him over the head saying: "That's War you meat-head."
"Ah I knew that," he said pointing a finger at War and holding the spot where he got hit.
"But what happened to you? And do you have any special ability?"
"It's… complicated. And I'm not sure yet," the to-be Red rider gave a nervous smile.
"Ah, okay. So what are you guys doing up so late?"
"We were just telling War what he missed during the war. That's ironic," the helmet wearer explained.
"Oh well then could I ask Death something? It's important."
"Sure I can finish the rest," the whip user smiled as the two friends exited the tent.
"What is it?" Death asked once the two were outside sitting at a fire.
"A few things actually. First; did you really tell War how his parents died?"
"No - well not quite. For our mother we told that she was killed soon after he was born. We didn't want him to think it was his fault she died. As for our father, we said he was killed in a battle."
"I see… The other thing is," he took a deep breath before saying: "I have an idea where we can go, where we can have a home."
"Really?" the pale one asked, exited and relived.
"Yes, but it's going to be hard getting there," he said in a low voice.
"What is this place?"
"…It's Eden."
Death looked wide eyed at his fiend for about a minute without saying anything. Absalom was somewhat waiting to be yelled at or something but it never came.
"Eden huh?" was all the to-be horseman muttered and looked into the fire.
"But for that we need to train - hard. Fury and Strife can't control their power well yet while War doesn't even have a weapon yet."
"Maybe I could train him. I mean, he's the same size as me. He'd be perfect with a large sword."
"I guess, but it's not my decision to make. You'll have to ask him yourself."
"Aw come on. Why can't you ask? He's your brother? Please!" the bulky one begged as his friend laughed.
"Fine, fine, but you better train him good. Otherwise you'll have the three of us after you," the raven-haired male grinned.
Absalom gulped and nodded.
"So you all use these rare weapons?" War asked when Fury finished the last part.
"Yea, but it's a bit hard to control 'em. I mean that was the first time I used guns at all but I somehow knew how."
"It was like we were born to use them."
The younger brother looked at the ground and thought: "Wonder if I'll ever get a weapon like that…"
"Oi cheer up. You'll get yours in time. No Horseman should be without a cool weapon."
"Yea about that. Could you tell me more about this 'Four Horseman'?"
"They don't know it too well but I could take you to someone who knows it good," Death's voice came as his head perked into the tent.
"He's on a night watch now anyway," he added as the three smiled.
"Well we're comin' to."
"We haven't heard it ether."
When the three stepped out of the tent, Absalom and Raven were already waiting for them.
"I thought you were on watch?" the pale one asked as the siblings sat around the fire.
"I got a friend to cover for me," the cloaked male said looking at the new arrivals.
"Fury, Strife and War I presume?"
"You got it," all three said as they sat at the campfire.
"I guess we're even now, since I hate to repeat myself," he stated and started.
It was all the same as when he told it to Death, only that Strife would throw a comment every now and then.
When they reached the end, three out of six where wide eyed and even Strife was speechless.
"Now that you know that, I'd like to add something," Absalom said looking at his best friend who gave a nod.
"We plan to take Eden for the Nephilim."
"Wha.." was all the three could manage as they were confused.
"The Humans don't deserve it, so we plan to take it. But, to get it, we'll have to fight Demons, Angels and other creatures. That's why everyone that's able to fight will have to train."
"But, what if you don't even have a weapon?" War asked.
He might not have ever been in a fight, but he knew he could.
"About that. We thought you could train with Absalom. You'd be perfect for a large sword."
"Really you could teach me?" the male asked excited.
"Sure but you'll have to practice a lot. But then again… you'll probably get it faster than I did," he sighed and hung his head at how outclassed he is.
The others laughed and then Fury asked: "Do you think we should train apart?"
"Yea I agree with her," the male twin added.
"Why would you?" Raven asked.
"We don't really have full control over our powers. So… it might be for the best to not be around others. You know, so we don't hurt them," the female explained.
And to be honest, they agreed. Strife could easily lose control and shot someone while Fury could simply tear off a limb or a head.
"But what about the two of you?" the white-eyed male asked.
"I'll train alone as well," Death said so none could argue.
"I guess I'll have to be with Absalom," War muttered.
"Don't sound so sad. It'll be fun," he encouraged, but sweat dropped when he saw the marked male sulk.
"Masters the Nephilim will be starting soon. Should the Red Rider not get-" the Watcher asked bowing until he was cut off.
"We shall decide when he will be given the weapon," all three said.
"Of course. Forgive me for questioning you."
"What'll be your next move Nephilim?" Abaddon thought as he looked over his golden city.
"It doesn't matter. I'll find you. You will join… or die," he smirked as the thought crept into his mind.
"Damn those Nephilim! They will die! All of them! I'll see to it!" Samael raged as he crushed one of his own servants.
"Only the Four Horseman… We need to kill them before they fully awaken!"
Just then a Demon came in and bowed before his master as he said: "Oh great lord, I have news."
"This better be good otherwise you'll die."
The Dreg spoke in a scared and shaky voice: "F-Forgive me master b-but this is bad. T-Two of the Horseman have already awakened their powe-" but he didn't get to finish as the Blood Prince slashed his head off.
"Curse you all!" he yelled into the sky so it shook the underworld.
"So we're these legendary warriors-"
"Enforcers," the wizard corrected.
"Enforcers that keep the balance or what it's called and have to follow some stupid orders by these old piles of rock?" Strife did a summary of what he heard.
"Pretty much," he shrugged.
"That's... I don't know what," Fury commented.
"Why would they even bother? I mean, if they're so powerful why not just keep the 'balance' themselves?" War asked, thinking it was a pointless thing.
"Well you'll probably met them. Why not ask?" the white-eyed male joked.
"If you ask me, I think they should fine someone else. Leave the Nephilim out of it," Death said, anger in his voice.
It was clear none of them liked it. Because of this 'legend' or 'prophecy' what ever you want to call it, they lost their parents, loved ones and kin. It's not like they asked for this.
"Couldn't they just ask 'Hey who wants ultimate power and serve us? You just have to leave everything behind. If you do, join us. We have cookies'."
Everyone present laughed at Strife's idea.
"Well if you ask me, I think it's just a legend. So don't worry too much guys. Those guys are probably already dead," Absalom tried to lighten the mood with Strife fake choking to empathize the point.
"Well if that's all I'll be takin' my watch then," Raven said standing up.
"Thanks again Raven," Death thanked as the cloaked male gave a nod and walked to the edge of the forest.
"We should get some sleep. Training starts tomorrow," Death added as he walked into the tent, others following suit.
"They dare mock us!"
"It would seem the Horsemen don't understand their role."
"We must teach them respect!"
"No one escapes their destiny."
"What do the masters command of this humble Watcher?" the being asked and bowed.
"Release them!"
"All of them!"
"Take them to the camp!"
"Make them see our power!"
You think they had T-shirts when they lived? Or any of that stuff? Anyway, I know I'm REALLY bad at describing how people/animals or any other thing that exists or did or even will look. Don't hold it against me Q_Q
Thanks for reading, hope you liked it and review please.
