AN: I'm a Nerdfighter, so DFTBA. I don't know what to say. I'm sorry I've been inactive for most of November. I was hella busy, then I got my Wisdom Teeth extracted, and then I got sick right after that! Finally, I'm in recovery (with plenty of makeup work). I tried writing the Holiday side story thing, but it sucked, so that isn't going to happen (sorry). But yea! To the fic!

"...and that's when we called you." Kyle finished as Bramble came in to the Death Room, carrying Amantha.

"Goodness!" Marie ran over to the blond, took her from Bramble gently. She took her over to Stein, who lifted the bandaid slightly to look at the leaf.

"As I thought, magic." He said.

"I knew it." Bramble muttered, sitting down by Kyle, Spirit, and Sid. Lord Death stood by his mirror.

"Yes, this is very bad." He said, his voice serious, "Spirit, Sid, can you go get Troy from his room?"

"Yes sir." They replied, getting up quickly and leaving.

"What does Troy have to do with this?" Kyle asked.

"He found a letter in the desert." Stein answered. He passed the letter to Kyle, who read it.

"Why was he in the desert?" Bramble looked up at the professor.

"He's gone mad. He was covered in broken glass with a crumpled up piece of paper in his hand when we found him." Stein laughed, turning his screw slightly.

"Probably from when he busted Alex's window.." Kyle grumbled.

"He broke into your apartment?" Marie gasped. "Why?"

"Clare, Troy's old partner, and Jene, Clare's new partner, were in there."

"They broke into your apartment too?" Marie raised a brow.

"I left my bedroom window open again." Kyle rubbed the back of her neck.

"You're not on the first floor." Bramble looked at her.

"Okay, we go to a school where people can turn into weapons, and you're surprised someone is breaking into upper story windows?" Kyle questioned him.

"She has a good point." Marie nodded.

"Reaper Chop!" Marie fell to the floor. "Let's all stay on task here." Lord Death reminded them. "Your mission, and I will explain this to your whole team later today, is to save Zanneth and Margaret, as it has been. But, since they have changed locations, we are not sure where they are exactly or how safe the location is. This weekend, you will go on a scouting mission to locate the home of this new witch. Then, over the following week, we will send higher ranking meisters and weapons, such as Sid or Stein and Marie, to scout and gain intel. If they see an opportunity to save the pair, they will take that chance. If not, your team will be sent in next Saturday to complete your mission. You have training everyday until they are successfully back with the DWMA. To help locate the Sabier siblings, you will help us interrogate our little mad mad, Troy! They should be up here soo-" Just then, Spirit burst back into the room.

"Sir, Troy is gone."

"It's simple: You help them find me, and I help you get your precious partner back." Canna smirked. She stood across from Troy in the middle of the desert.

"And how will that work?" He asked.

"From the intel I've gathered, they might send Jene and Clare with our favorite team as back up. Therefore, they will all be here. Your job will be to surprise them and kill Jene. You can do that, right?" Canna glanced at the boy's face. She could tell he was going mad, but he still had some of his senses.

"I don't know what she is." He said, staring at the sand beneath him.

"Well, what are you?" She stepped closer. "Do you not think you can end her? Do you not want the love of your life back? I know I would. I have normal weapons, if you need any."

"I can do it."

"Perfect. Someone took off Amantha's bandaid, and my flower informed me that the plan is for them to scout this weekend. You will stay at my home until then, then do things to lead them towards my place, but do not come inside until they leave. Are we clear?" Canna smiled at Troy, who nodded his head. "Great. Now, let's head home. I want you to meet a few..friends of mine."
