Hey guys! Well...It's been a fun time writing this story and it has taken a lot of time and thought to write it. I swear, I did not think that I would get this far into the story haha. It really wasn't supposed to be this long. I mean, I guess I could make a sequel in the future but this is the final chapter for now. School, I have to say, is kicking my ass with all of the teacher's and the work they give me. The teachers can't teach because they're too busy being smart asses. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? It doesn't matter. Anyway, because this is it, I want you guys to give it your all when it comes to reviews and comments. It might be the last time you hear from me if you don't like any of my other stories. All of my stories are on Fanfiction so if you are at Quotev, just go there if you're interested. But by the way, the next story on my list is Hetalia. I recommend you watch that; all of it. It's awesome but if you like that then it will probably come out later this week. Ch. 25
I had a very nice dream that night. I actually dreamed of a wedding and I just happened to be in a wedding dress. Hmm...Wonder who I am marrying. When I finally lifted my head up, I saw Wally's bright leaf-colored eyes staring into mine. I smiled as we both said our vows. However, I didn't really say any. I think I just dreamt of Wally taking up most of the time with his vows. Anyway, the thing I remember most about it was the kiss we shared; permanently securing us a husband and wife...The dream then suddenly ended when I stirred awake. There didn't seem to be a reason as to why or how this happened. I guess I just had to wake up sometime right? I lifted my head up from Wally's chest and looked at his sleeping form. He was still snoring quietly like the night before. He looked so peaceful and I felt the need to press my lips to his softly.
"Wally..."
I whispered to the boy laying next to me. He mumbled something and wrapped his arms around me. His grip was stronger than any hug he has ever given me, but it wasn't like I was complaining. The softness of his arms and the tight warmth of his embrace was intoxicating.
"Mmmmm Scarlett..."
He whispered as he rubbed his cheek against mine affectionately. I almost passed out from the magnitude of his cuteness. Nothing else was more adorable than Wally. I loved him so much, and it feels so good to be able to say that. I can say it at school, I can say it to the whole team, hell, I could even say it to freaking Batman. Although, I'm pretty sure I am still shy about things like that. I've never had a boyfriend before but I feel as though Wally will be my FIRST and ONLY boyfriend. It's just a feeling I'm having is all...
"Huh...?"
I looked up as Wally suddenly opened his eyes and yawned inaudible words. He looked down and stared at me for a few seconds before blinking. His mouth turned into a wide grin and he pecked my cheek gently.
"Sorry, my eyes were blurry for a second there."
"It's okay."
I laughed. With a stretch, he sat up in the bed and wrapped his arms around my waist in a loving way. He gave me a look and I couldn't help but stare back into his beautiful eyes that seemed to be annotating what I was feeling. Without saying anything, he gave me a hug and stood up out of the bed with a yawn. I giggled and put my hands on my hips. He gave me a confused look and I rolled my eyes.
"You're so random Wally."
I said with a smile. He smirked and got close to my face.
"But you love me for it don't you?"
"...Yeah..."
I replied with a red face. He gave me a wink and held his hand out for me to stand up from the bed. He and I were still wearing the clothes we were wearing for the date last night so we both decided that it would be best if we changed. Obviously, he didn't have any clothes in my room to change in so I slowly made my way over to my door and opened it for him. To my surprise, Megan and Artemis fell into the room with a thud. What the hell!? They both yelled, "Ow!" and glared up at me. I returned their glare and waved my hands at them.
"What the fuck are you two doing!?"
I screamed at them. The two girls rubbed their head and crossed their arms at me.
"W-Well...Last night we saw you two go to your room after you came home kind of late so we decided to go to your door and listen on your sounds."
Megan said with pink-dusted cheeks. I sighed and looked at her again.
"You mean you were ear-hustling?"
"Yep."
"You perverts!"
Wally said loudly to them. We all gave him a look that said, "Really? We're looking at one of the most perverted guys in the whole entire league". He put his hands up in defense and we got back to the situation at hand.
"Anyway, then what did you do!?"
Artemis was the one to respond to my question this time.
"We get up to the door and we hear you guys talking and stuff and we were kind of waiting for you guys to have sex or something and just like burst in!"
She said laughing and then continued,
"...But then you had to be boring and just go to asleep. I don't even think you guys kissed or anything. How lame! So then we both fell asleep against the wall for some reason and now you're getting onto us for doing all of that shit I just described to you. Yep. That's what happened."
She stated matter-of-factly. Rolling my eyes again, I stretched my arm out and sighed.
"Out."
They obeyed my command and left the room, leaving Wally and I alone again. He was trying to hold back a laugh or two but whenever I looked at him, he turned all serious. He's so full of crap!
"I should probably go change now. I'll meet you in the living room babe."
And with that, he gave me a kiss and left. I could get used to all of this love he was giving me. It's funny. My first kiss was a couple of days ago and I have almost doubled the amount of kisses I have ever gotten just this morning! And it's fucking great! Getting back to my room, I needed to change out of these clothes so I walked over to my closet and put my hand to my forehead in thought. I didn't really feel like dressing up for the day so I might just wear something comfortable like pajamas. I slipped into soft pajama yoga pants and a soft T-shirt. Nice right? My hair didn't mess up during our slumber, thank God, so I didn't have to brush it or anything. Like Wally said, I walked into the living room and sat on the couch. Robin and Connor were sitting there and they both looked like they were either drunk or extremely exhausted. I rose an eyebrow at the two guys and questioned them.
"What happened to you two?"
Robin turned to me slowly and shook his head.
"We were out late with Kaldur and then he wanted to show us Atlantis or something like that. So we said, 'yeah, okay' and it went black from there. Now we both have giant-ass headaches..."
Connor nodded in agreement and then pressed an ice pack against the side of his head. Okay...I guess that's my conversation with them for the day. But if they are here...Where is Kaldur!?
"Uhhhh Scarlett?"
I gasped and jumped at the sound of Wally's voice. I probably looked like an idiot trying to contradict my own thoughts. Wally was used to it though.
"Oh sorry hehe..."
"It's cool. so what did you want to do today?"
He asked me in complete boredom. I had a few ideas that once border on the lines of sexy and adventure. Don't ask what they were because my brain censor does not allow my voice to reveal them. Does that make sense? OF COURSE IT DOESN'T. So I simply shrugged my shoulders and his face turned into one of thought. In a few seconds his eyes brightened in an idea but then just went back to the thinking process.
"How about you guys tell me what you two did on your little date last night."
The voice's owner was Canary as she walked up to us; her long blond hair swaying side-to-side. She wore the usual clothes she wore whenever she just got back from a mission. Wally and I looked at each other and then back to her.
"No."
We said. She paused for a moment before opened her mouth.
"If you don't, I'll scream at you. And I'm the last person you want to be screaming at you. Trust me, ask my husband."
She whispered with a smirk. I then got an image of Green Arrow getting blown away from her amazing high-pitched voice. Damn, he probably sleeps on the lawn instead of the couch since she'll just blow him away if he comes back in. I glanced at the ginger one more time before finally nodding and sitting down on one of decorative chairs the room had that no one ever used. Wally sat next to me while Canary sat across from us. She crossed her long legs and laid her hands in her lap.
"Sooooooo?"
She questioned. We both hesitantly told her about the date while she made little noises about how cute we were. It was totally embarrassing but you couldn't hate Canary. She was like my second Mom and she treated me like her daughter. Although, we have yet to go on one of those Mother-Daughter shopping sprees. I mean, we kind of look alike so it would fit well. Unless it's black Friday, then I would have to bring Wally so he could protect me from those maniac shoppers.
"It sounds like a fun time guys. Now Green Arrow and I? Oh man! Our first date consisted of as fight between just the two of us. I won by the way. And then we were given a mission together where we encountered Huntress. I hate that bitch but I love her...Anyway, it's about a 50/50 on who gets their ass kicked but I got one more point than she does so ha! So after the mission, we went back to his apartment and did it. EVERYWHERE. IN ALL POSITIONS."
She said boldly as she leaned towards us. I watched her in horror as she began to give us every detail about her disgusting love-making. Out of the corner of my eye though, I saw Wally's hand reaching its way to mine slowly. Once it touched mine, he clutched it and brought me with him out of the room with as much speed as he could muster. I barely blinked before I found myself in the kitchen along with the boy who brought me here. However, I noticed that someone else was in the kitchen as well. His suit was solid black with detailed ridges along the edges. His cape matched with the rest of his body; which made me realize who it was.
Batman.
But...Why was Batman digging through the fridge like a normal teenage guy would!? He heard us and he quickly composed himself; the refrigerator door slamming with a bang. We stared at him for what seemed like forever before he threw a puff of smoke at his feet. Wally and I coughed and expected him to be gone but he was still there!
"Hmmm...That usually works..."
The tall dark man muttered to himself. More silence followed.
"I was just organizing the food in there...That's all I was doing...Don't you two have a mission or something?"
He asked us. We shook our heads and told him quietly,
"You would know since you are the one who gives us missions..."
"Right."
He said as he cleared his throat. God, this is so awkward.
"Then I'm giving you a mission. Go to the store and buy some damn groceries. We need more food."
He said and then he left. We almost started laughing when he poked his head into the room again and pointed at us.
"I mean it. This is a real mission. Get your asses moving."
Really? I would complain but what's the point? Starting our supposed "mission", we both walked out of the cave; hands firmly locked together. This was fine I guess. It was just a normal day but another day of doing missions with the person I have loved ever since I met him. I may not have known at that point but my feelings eventually came through in the end. My heart felt the need to tell me that this was the one. The one who would protect me, fight with me, and love me with all of his heart. In a way, I really have gotten used to being a superhero. Whether it is fighting the biggest cartel with a snake-man leading it or getting groceries at the store. Well...Getting groceries at the store is a pretty lame mission but I assume we get paid nonetheless. And I also have a bunch of friends now; Wally, Canary, Kaldur, Robin, Connor, Megan, Artemis, and even Batman. He was the one who brought me here after all. Speaking of which, maybe I could bring Wally to my city, Atlanta, and really show him a good time.
"I love you Scarlett."
Wally said out of nowhere.
"I love you too Wally."
I said as I kissed him. Annnnnnnnnnnnnd he tells me he loves me every five minutes! Never gets old! So yeah, I may have been shy and awkward at the beginning but now I think I am beginning to break out of my bonding shell. I just need to put a little more practice into my social skills and I will get better in no time; all thanks to Kid Flash over here. And like I said, it may be the end, but in reality, it's just the beginning. I am only fifteen after all...
And that is the end of the chapter and the story! GOD I HAD SO MUCH WRITER'S BLOCK FOR THIS STORY AND I'M SORRY! I'M SO LAME! I tried to think of something good but this is what I came up with so I just hope you liked it haha. There MIGHT be a sequel depending on how busy I am with other stories and school. If you want a sequel, just put it in a review or comment and I will seriously consider it. A guy from my team is wanting it so bad haha but I have to move on to other stories but this might just be a continuing project. I will put in a sneak peek if I do decide to write a sequel so don't think the story is over yet. I just need the support to back it up.
