"For the love of Morgan le Fay, relax Sirius!"
"What if he won't listen? What if he turns me in?"
"If he even thinks that way I'll snatch his wand, don't worry! It'll be fine, he's your friend!"
"But what if-"
"Oh shut up!" snapped Jennie and pulled the distraught black haired, half clothed man in for a kiss, nibbling at his lower lip and making him growl a little.
"Oh thank you for that lovely. But what if-"
"Sirius!"
He smirked and kissed the little soft spot on her neck and Jennie automatically moved closer to him, stealing a little of his warmth.
"It'll be fine", she mumbled as she hugged him, "don't worry."

"Good afternoon. Remus Lupin, a pleasure", said the sandy haired man with a kind smile as Jennie stepped aside to let him enter.
"Hello. Jennie Andrews, and the pleasure is all mine. Just through here, to the living room, and feel free to hang your cloak on a hook."
She led the kind looking werewolf – Sirius had been talking a lot about their full moon runs in the wood at school – inside the room where a very stiff and nervous black haired wizard sat, chewing on cashew nuts.
"Now gentleman be nice and listen to each other", Jennie ordered and offered Remus a seat in the armchair while she herself sat down on the couch.
The minutes ticked by in silence, and Jennie bit her lip to stop herself from start rambling while the two men looked at each other, searching for something she guessed was a long forgotten spark of trust.
"Hi Padfoot."
The soft voice from the sandy haired man broke the nervous tension and she saw Sirius relax a bit.
"Hi Moony. Long time no see."
"Sirius… everyone said you did it… I told you there was no way, but they insisted; said some Muggles had heard Pettigrew scream that you… betrayed them… I didn't know what to do… I'm sorry."
"Hah, told you!" muttered Jennie triumphantly and Sirius gave her a quick amused eye roll.
"I didn't do it, I would never! I had them chance Keepers Moony, I thought I could outsmart the bad guy if James and Lily had Peter as their Keeper since he always seemed so… well, he didn't take much space or attention… when I found out I went after him… he somehow blew up the street, killed those who watched and escaped through the sewers like the rat he is… no one listened, they didn't even question me… they could have given me Veritaserum; no one can trick that potion! But they just… threw me away… and they didn't allow me any contact with anyone; I wanted to speak to you, to explain… you know I'd never hurt James and Lily, Moony, I loved them and-"
He was rambling. Jennie let her fingertips touch Sirius's knuckles, softly and quickly and he threw her a distraught look and stopped talking, breathing unevenly.
"We have been thinking of getting some people on our side, to take this to your court and clear out all these misunderstandings", said Jennie and watched Remus's face; he looked mildly taken aback but she detected anger within those amber eyes.
"They just threw you into that Hell? Oh Padfoot… we'll have to talk to Dumbledore! Or someone we know will listen well, like… Amelia Bones! She's a member of the Wizengamot just like Albus, I'm sure if we talk to her first and then search out the Headmaster we'll have our backup."
Sirius smiled and it was a relieved smile, one that showed that he was oh so happy that his friend listened.
"I've missed you Moony. I used to turn on full moon nights and look at the moon, hoping you where okay; it had to be hard without the pack."
"It was hard until they came up with Wolfsbane", admitted Remus with a slight shiver.
"They did? Man that's great! Heh, we can have canine night then without ripping each other", said Sirius and Jennie snorted.
"That's you priority Sirius, having canine night at full moon?" she giggled amused and he shrugged.
"It's cool!" he defended himself and she snorted even more and excused herself, hasting into the kitchen and turning on the water to drown her laughter.

Remus believed him, really believed him and would help him. After everything he'd messed up, he still had his friend. It felt oh so good.
"Thank you Remus", Sirius mumbled and the werewolf smiled.
"Always friends, right?"
"Yes."
Remus leaned in closer and made a little shrug of his head towards the kitchen.
"You smell of her, and she off you. Is it really wise Padfoot? Not that I mind, but she wrote in her letter to me that Harry doesn't know about you yet, and you two get involved… she's very kind though."
"Ah yes… I know it's probably maddening crazy Moony… but it just happened, cliché as it sounds… and it's not like we're in love or so, we're just… I don't know, enjoying ourselves… and we'll tell Harry everything, not leaving things out."
"Good, he's a great kid."
"Yeah, you've seen him as well, right? How is he in school? Is he doing good?"
"I don't know about his other classes but he seems to find Defense interesting, but then again we haven't gotten so far into the subject yet. Doesn't Jennie get letters from him?"
"Oh yes she does but he doesn't exactly rapport on his school work, hehe…"
"Oh well he's a kid after all. Where did our hostess go?"
"Kitchen, laughing her head off… Jennie, are you quite done lovely?"
He grinned at the blonde woman who came back with cups and a teapot on a tray.
"Quite done thank you. Sorry", she grinned sheepishly and sat down beside him again, offering him and Remus tea.

Four hours later Sirius stepped out of the shower and dried off. Remus had left two hours ago after promising that he'd see Amelia Bones and then let them know what she said.
"I like him", stated Jennie who sat in the bathtub which was being filled with steaming hot water.
"He's the best really. Although he did have a good point in thinking that we ought to tell Harry soon…"
"I know I know! But I really don't want to tell my kid this in a letter. I want him here, it's too important for a letter!" she wailed and turned off the water and smiled up at him when he carefully stepped inside and sat down opposite her.
"I like your thinking, I'm agreeing."
Jennie smiled at him and then moved to sit between his legs and leaned her head back on his shoulder.
"I told you he'd listen!"
"I know you did", he mumbled and kissed her cheek and she sighed and placed a hand on his thigh.
"So… we're not in love, eh?"
"I knew you were eavesdropping!"
"Oh knock it off big boy, it's my house!"
"Heh, well we aren't, are we?" he said carefully, trailing kisses down her neck, and she shuddered against him.
"Of course we're not! I don't know you that well yet. Give it a few other weeks of spoiling though", she replied with a little laugh and turned around in the water and faced him, looking very cute with her hair pulled up in a messy bun at the top of her head.
"I like you though, but you know that already. Now stay still and let me pamper you."
"Define pamper, lovely", he smiled as she leaned in and nibbled at his earlobe.
"Oh, no, you'll have to be good and wait and see… now hush."
