" Remeber this is a recon mission". Batman said as they flew to Krolotean island " We want to discover all we can about the Krolotean invasion strategy before we shut them down and deliver them to the Green Lantern Corp".

" Approaching drop zone beta". Renegade said to Lagaan and Aquaman

" Drop zone gamma". Renegade said and Batman landed

" You ready". Red Hood said to his littlet brother as they were almost at there drop zone.

" As ready as I'll ever be".

" Your gonna be fine". Renegade said " Here's our drop".

The bats all dropped out of the ship and landed where they were supposed to and Renegade gave the hand signal to split.

Renegade and Nightwing went to the left while Red Hood, Batgirl, and Red Robin went to the right.

" Your gonna be fine". Renegade said to Nightwing once again and his brother nodded before going to one of the computers.

" There"! One of the guards shouted and fired at Nightwing who quickly jumped down while Batman fought the guards.

Red Hood, Red Robin and Batgirl appeared and took out three more guards while Renegade and Nightwing took out three also.

" You alright". Renegade asked Nightwing

" Feeling the aster".

" Good because we have more guards to take care of".

" Lookin forward to it".

The bats were taking out the guards left and right and every now and then they would all glance at Nightwing to make sure he was okay.

" Renegade to Delta squad enemy is attempting to escape. Request back up". Renegade said

A couple seconds later Superman, Superboy, Wonder Women, and Wonder Girl appeared. Renegade let out a sigh of relief and noticed Nightwing was looking down at Aqualad.

" Wing". Renegade said but saw his brother jump down as Kaldur brought up Tula.

" Kaldur that was a mission". Nightwing said and knew losing Tula hit Aqualad hard " Aqaugirl knew the risks. No one wanted...".

Nightwing got cut off by La'gaan and looked at his siblings who were all still fighting.

Nightwing was brought back as Aqualad launched a smoke missile and followed him along with Superboy.

Everyone stopped for a brief moment and saw Nightwing and Superboy were gone.

" He's gonna be fine Gade". Red Hood said appearing next to his brother

" I hope so".

" He was trained by us for crying out loud. Lighten up. He can take care of himself".

" Your right. He's gonna be fine".

" Kaldur". Nightwing said stepping out of the shadows so his former teammate could see him.

" Just you and me old friend". Kaldur said and heard Superboy shout " No! It's a regular reunion special".

" Fine you can take me down". Kaldur said dropping his water barriers. " Or you can save everyone from this bomb. I am told the yield is quite impressive".

Superboy charged at Kaldur but he threw him down and shocked his neck.

" You have two minutes". Kaldur said to Nightwing before leaving

" There getting away"! Wonder Girl shouted

" We can take em"! La'gaan shouted

" Negative. I've got an alien tech bomb and I cannot disable it". Nightwing said making his family worry.

" I'll get it out". Superboy said

" No. It might have pressure, or motion sensors. All squads evacuate to Bio-ship now"!

" You heard Wing! Move"! Batman shouted as he saw Hood, Gade, Red Robin and Batgirl hesitate. " He's gonna be fine".

" He better be". Renegade said before running

" We gotta go now". Nightwing said to Superboy and they both ran for the bio ship.

" Where's Wing". Hood asked

" Here"! Nightwing shouted as him and Superboy arrived and saw they were missing Superman.

" Where's Superman". Superboy asked

" He's probably fine. We gotta go now"! Nightwing shouted and M'gann started up the bio ship.

" Come on"! M'gann shouted and they barely made it out of the explosion range.

" There's Superman"! Nightwing cried as he saw him hit the water face down. " M'gann open the hatch, Aquaman depart now".

Everyone was surprised at Nightwing but Aquaman did as he told and swam under the water.

Superboy was at the opening and helped Aquaman pull up Superman.

" He's breathing". Wonder Women said " His pulse is strong he'll be alright".

" The bomb was off alien origin". Nightwing cut in to La'gaan's and the rest of the teams conversation. " If the Krolotean's clearly knew nothing about it then where did it come from".

" It's up to you and Renegade to figure that one out Wing". Batman replied then looked at Renegade and said " I'm sure you and the team can figure it out. Just be careful".

" I can't believe Aqualad betrayed us". Red Hood said

" Nobody can". Nightwing said " But honestly who could blame the guy. The love of his life died, his father is Black Manta and he was heart broken. Plus we've all gone off the rails at least once".

" He's got a point". Red Robin said " We've all gone AWOL at least once or we've created another persona for our darkest hour".

It went silent after that and the read of the ride was quiet. They arrived back at the Mt and the leaguers who went missing during the sixteen hours three years ago were saying good bye. Terry being one of them.

" Promise me you'll be back". Nightwing said to Batman as he gave him a hug good bye.

" I'll be back. Be careful alright".

" Was about to say the same thing to you". Hood said " Come back soon".

" I will. Stay out of trouble".

" Time to go". Green Lantern said

" May the gods be with you all". Wonder Women said and smiled at Nightwing " I'll see you soon my warriors".

" Bye mom". Nightwing whispered and watched as they disappeared.

" He'll be back". Red Robin said and walked away along with everyone else hoping they would see everyone again soon.
