Chapter 25 has arrived and more fights are coming for the story. Last time we saw Black WarGreymon makes his return and save Antylamon from being destroyed. We then saw Piedmon fight Kari, T.K, and Chris's Digimon defeating two of them, and leaving only Sakuyamon as the last one. Will she defeat him or will she get backup to stop Piedmon?
Read on to find out what is going to happen and if they will defeat the bad guys. I don't own anything of Digimon just my OCs, except for the one my friend gave me. So thanks for the help my friend and thanks to you guys for the support of this story. All right, let the new chapter begin!
Level up again part III
Digital World (Normal pov)
Kari and T.K. look up at the sky where they see their Digimon have Warp-Digivolved into their Mega forms. The two Digidestined are shocked that their Digimon have reached a level they never thought they would ever reach.
Chris is nearby tending to his friend, while also watching the two Digimon that have reached their Mega-forms. But unlike his friends, he isn't surprised and is glad they got some backup.
"Can you believe this?" T.K. asked towards Kari. "How did they Warp-Digivolve?"
"I don't know," Kari replied unsure herself, but at this moment she doesn't care. "I'm just glad they did and now we can beat Piedmon."
T.K. nods in agreement. "Go get him guys."
Piedmon is hovering across from the two Mega-form Digimon, surprised. He was unaware that they had the ability to reach this level. The last time he fought them they were only in the Ultimate level. Then again it has been years since he fought them and a lot has changed.
"So, you two have found a way to Digivolved to this level," said Piedmon smiling.
They may have found a way to get to the Mega-level, but it doesn't matter. They are still new to this, while he has had more experience in this form.
"It doesn't matter. You can't stop me. I'm going to destroy you both, just like I did to your friend. And then I will take the Child of Light to free the Virus King."
"That will not happen," Ophanimon replied as she swings her javelin in her hand. "We will defeat you and make you pay for all you have done."
Piedmon began to laugh again. "We'll see, Trump Sword!" He fires four swords at the two Digimon.
"Excalibur!" Seraphimon summons his weapon and destroys the four swords in with one swing. His wings began to glow as seven heated spheres of light appeared. "Strike of the 7 stars!"
Piedmon uses his powers to create another shield, but this caused it to crack. Ophanimon appears above him and soon ten crystals between her hands appear in Sefirot form.
"Sefirot Crystal!" she fires the crystals that landed in the shield destroying it and sending the Dark Master crashing to the ground.
Piedmon gets up and attacks again. "Clown Trick!"
His attack is then blocked by Seraphimon as he fires an attack of his own. "Hallowed Knuckle!" He fires an orb of light that takes out the attack of the Clown Digimon.
This started to make him upset that he can't get a direct attack. "Damn you both."
He takes out two swords and charges at the two Digimon. They block the swords with their weapons as Piedmon tries to take them both out. He sees an opening and kicks Seraphimon away and goes to try taking out Ophanimon thinking she is the weak link. However, he soon sees she is a lot stronger than she appears.
Her javelin begins to glow as she continues fighting back. She knocks out of his swords out of the way and punches him right across the face. Then she uses her javelin to knock the other sword away. And then fires off another attack.
"Eden's Javelin!" A beam of purifying light is fired from her weapon and heads towards Piedmon.
He tries blocking the attack with another shield, but it breaks the moment the blast hits it. He is send flying across the sky, right into Seraphimon.
"Strike of the 7 stars!" He fires the seven heated spheres and it hits Piedmon knocking him towards the ground.
"Did they win?" Chris asked helping Renamon up.
"Maybe," said T.K. unsure himself.
As the smoke begins to disappear they see Piedmon on one knee, breathing heavily. He glares angrily at the Digimon and Digidestined. He can't believe that these brats are embarrassing him, again. He wasn't going to let it happen, not if it means him going back where he was.
"I will destroy you all!" he throws two of his swords at the Digimon, distracting them while he charges at Kari. "You are coming with me!"
Chris stands in front of Kari, ready to defend her. Just before Piedmon can get to them, Chris's Digivice begins to glow, and causes Renamon to be engulf in a bright light.
"Renamon, Warp-Digivolve to…Sakuyamon!" She uses her staff to hit Piedmon in the face knocking him away from her friend. "It's time for us to end this fight."
Ophanimon and Seraphimon joined in as they fired their attacks together. "Fox Drive! Eden's Javelin! Strike of the 7 stars!"
The attacks hit their mark as Piedmon lets out a loud scream before he disintegrates. Once he was gone all three Digimon begin to transform. Ophanimon transformed into her Training-form, Salamon. While Sakuyamon and Seraphimon transform into their In-Training forms, Viximon and Tokomon.
"Are you guys okay?" Chris asked as the Digidestined check on their friends.
"We're fine," Viximon replied. "Are you guys okay?"
"We are thanks to you guys," said Kari as she picks up Salamon and turns towards Chris. "And thanks to you."
Chris smiles happily at her. "Yeah, but thanks to you guys I don't think we would have won."
"I'm still surprise you guys could Warp-Digivolve," said T.K. towards their Digimon. "Do you know how that happened?"
Tokomon shrugs. "All I know is when you guys were in trouble, I felt a sudden burst of power and I just Digivolved."
"Me too," said Salamon agreeing with her friend. "I never felt a power like it before."
"We're just glad you guys could Digivolve to the Mega-level," said Viximon as she forms a small smile. "Thank you, for saving us."
The two other Digimon smile and nod in response glad they were able to help. It is then Viximon hears Chris laughing, so she looks up at him.
"What?"
"Your smiling. That's the first time in a long time I've seen you smile like that before," Chris replied as he begins petting her head.
Viximon's expression changed as she growls at Chris. "Don't get used to this. I'll be back in my old form, soon."
"And I'll milk this for all it's worth," it is then that Chris remembered their friends. "Hey, we should go check if Yan and Rachel are done."
"They should be by now, let's go," said T.K. as they head off to find their friends.
Unknown Location (Leomon's pov)
I continued going through the vent trying to find a way out. I knew that Daemon and the drones are still looking for me. I'll need to stay hidden in the vent until I find a way out. So I continued looking for another way out, while also exploring the area so I know where everything is at.
Stopping near another vent, I can hear Daemon speaking with the boy about their progress of finding me. And I could tell the boy was not happy to hear what he heard.
"What do you mean you haven't found him?!" the boy shouted at Daemon. "How hard is it to find him?"
"We have every available drone looking for him," Daemon explained. "We also have them at the exits and near the holding cells in case he tries to free his comrades."
"He won't," the boy replied. "He's not an idiot. He knows he is too weak to free them. What I care about is what happens if he escapes. We cannot allow that to happen when we don't have the Child of Light."
"I will make sure he doesn't escape," Daemon reassured.
"You better hope so, the boy replied. "Bring Beelzemon back here. If he's not doing anything I want him back here to help find Leomon."
"I will," said Daemon.
"I'm heading back home," said the boy. "Keep me informed of everything that happens and tell Beelzemon to hurry up with his mission. If he's playing around then send LadyDevimon to finish the job. And make sure Piedmon brings me the girl."
"Of course," Daemon replied before I hear the boy take off. "Find him and make sure he doesn't escape."
"Yes sir" I heard a drone reply before I looked over and see they're gone.
Now is my chance. I thought as I continued making my way through the vent to find a way out.
Hopefully they don't figure out where I'm hiding until after I find the exit. Once I do I better use what strength I have left to take out the drones and make my way back home.
But how? I thought knowing the only way to get back home is probably going to be blocked off.
That is unless I find a portal that will lead me back to the Digital World. I then began to recall a familiar conversation I had with Centarumon. We were trying to find out where the allies of the Virus King could be hiding. They were nowhere to be found in the Digital World and we just assumed they had a hidden base like the one the former Digimon Emperor used.
But now, I don't think that is the case. If I'm at where I think I am, then that explains why we could never find them. If that's the case, then I have to find the portal they use to get to our world to get my way back. That's if I can find it.
I better hurry and find it before they do figure out where I'm at. So I continued my search to find the portal and get back home to warn the others. I just hope the Digidestined are doing okay.
Digital World (Normal pov)
BlackWarGreymon continues his fight with Beelzemon as the two box at one another. During the fight, BlackWarGreymon lost his two gauntlet claws and began fighting using his fists. Beelzemon also lost his weapons and had to reduce to fighting with his fists as well. The two beat the hell out of one another as they fight across the desert away from the Dark Tower.
It was a back and forth fight, with no sign of a winner. They threw punches, kicks, and anything they can find like the destroyed drones nearby as weapons.
The fight then came to a standstill as both fighters stood from opposite sides breathing heavily. Their bodies are covered in bruises, armor and clothing are shown to be damaged, and they both seem ready to continue.
Beezlemon began to laugh, which caused BlackWarGreymon to narrow his eyes at the Digimon. "What's so funny?"
"This is the first time I've ever fought a worthy opponent like you before," Beelzemon replied. "I have fought a lot of weaklings before, but you. I knew from the moment we met there was something different about you. And to think I was going to quit working for the Virus King because I didn't get to have any fun. Looks like I was wrong."
The last two statements surprised BlackWarGreymon and raised some questions. "Are you telling me you only work for the Virus King because you want to fight a strong opponent?"
Beelzemon nods in response and looks up into the sky. "I could tell you about my past, but I see no point since only one thing matters. And that's proving who is the strongest. That's why I'm glad to have finally met someone as strong as me. Someone like you, who I heard has been searching for a strong opponent to fight, right?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," BlackWarGreymon replied.
"Come on, I know who you are," said Beelzemon seeing through his opponent. "I remember you. I once saw you go up against an army of Mammothmon and defeated them."
BlackWarGreymon didn't say a word and kept silent. He didn't want to tell this Digimon anything that he doesn't want him to know. Knowing it's pointless since he is not that Digimon. He is not the one that almost destroyed the Digital World and was out to fight for himself.
"It doesn't matter what you think," he replied. "I am who I am and I'm going to stop the Virus King from hurting my friends. If you stand in my way I will destroy you."
Beezlemon began to laugh out loud and looks ready to fight. "All right, let's do this then! Let's continue!" Before the two can continue fighting, a drone appears in front of Beelzemon. "Get out of my way, you bucket of bolts!"
"It's me," said Daemon speaking to Beelzemon through the drone. "We need you back here, right now."
"I'm busy," Beezlemon replied moving the drone out of the way. "So get lost, while I get on with my fight."
The drone appears in front of Beezlemon again and Daemon continues. "Piedmon is dead. The tower is weakened and we need you here right now. If you don't then I will come get you myself. And we both know in your current position you can't stop me."
Beezlemon growled in anger hating when Daemon is right. "Fine, I'll head back." The drone takes off and Beelzemon summons for his bike to come get him. "We'll settle this next time and when we do there will be no interruptions."
BlackWarGreymon wanted to stop him, but after hearing that the enemy has been taken care of and the tower is weakened. He knows he needs to go check on the others.
Beelzemon gets on his bike and takes off. BlackWarGreymon watches him leave and narrowed his eyes.
"Next time we do meet, I will end this."
Meanwhile (Rachel's pov)
Yan, Lopmon, and I made it to the Dark Tower where we see no signs of any drones. That's good since it means there is less trouble for us to deal with.
"Okay, Lopmon. Do your stuff," I said taking out my Digivice.
Not long ago my Digivice began to glow brightly and it helped give Lopmon some energy back. That's good for us since she can now take out the tower.
Lopmon begins to be engulfed in a bright light as she Digivolve. "Lopmon, Digivolve to… Turuiemon!"
"Is this form strong enough to destroy the tower?" Yan asked.
"Only one way to find out," I replied as I take out a piece of chalk. I make an X on the tower and moved away. "Go for it, Turuiemon!"
Turuiemon runs towards the tower and jumps into the air. "Gauntlet Claw!"
Her attack hits the tower right on the X causing it to crack around the base. She runs back at the tower again and attacks it causing it to fall down.
"Told ya it would work," I said as Turuiemon returns to normal. "Good work, Lopmon."
"You're welcome," Lopmon replied as I pick her up. "Should we go check on BlackWarGreymon?"
"We should, but after we check on the others," I suggested and then turn towards Yan. "Is that okay?"
Yan nods in response. "BlackWarGreymon can hold his own against any Digimon. It's our friends that I'm worried about. They haven't been back since we separated from them."
I nod in agreement sharing my concerns too. "Let's go look for them."
I then noticed Lopmon getting out of my arms and climb to my head. "I think they're heading this way, right now."
I look over the direction she is looking at and I see what she sees. "Hey! Guys we're over here!"
We see our friends coming our way as we run towards them. "Guys! Are you okay?!" I shouted.
"We're fine, we just ran into trouble," Kari replied as she checks on us. "What happened with you guys? And where is BlackAgumon?"
"He's um," as Yan tries to reply, we see a small black Digimon bounce his way towards us. "Right here."
"Is that BlackAgumon?" Chris asked surprised.
"I'm actually Pagumon," he replied as he bounced in Yan's arms. "I used up too much of my power and transformed into my In-Training form."
"You look different than Koromon," said T.K surprise that the Digimon he is seeing is not like Agumon's In-Training form. But more like the ones they dealt with when they were young.
"I wouldn't worry about it," I said moving the subject along. "Anyways, what took you guys so long to get here?"
"It's a long story," said Kari who I notice is looking at the destroyed tower. "Piximon is gone. They must have taken him like the others."
"So, what now?" Yan asked.
"Let's go home," Chris suggested.
"Okay," said Kari as we head back home.
Unknown Location (Normal pov)
Two drones are guarding one of the rooms that has the portal that helps lead to the Digital World. As the drones keep a lookout, Leomon who has been sneaking around through the vents snuck past them and got into the room. He goes towards the computer panel and sees it's still programmed to the location where it was last used. This is good for him since the computer looked to be too complicated for him to use.
He is about to press the button, when he sees the portal is activating. He hides behind some crates nearby and sees a Digimon stepping out of the portal.
"Damn, Daemon," said the Digimon. "When I get my hands on him I will…"
The door opened and in comes Daemon. "You will what?"
The Digimon snarls in anger. "I was having so much fun with my fight and you had to come in to ruin it. Why the hell did you do that?"
"Piedmon is gone," Daemon explained.
"Not my fault that stupid clown failed," the Digimon replied.
"And Leomon escaped," Daemon finished.
The Digimon's attitude changed as he begins to laugh. "Oh that is soooo funny. How did that happen?"
"Silence!" Daemon shouted. "Get healed up and help find Leomon before he escapes."
The Digimon scoffed. "Whatever."
The two Digimon walked away, as Leomon makes his way out from behind the crate. Once the door closed he goes to the control panel, presses the button, and sees the portal is opening.
"It's time for me to warn the others."
There you go, Leomon has escaped and is now going to warn the others. Will he get to the Digidestined in time before any more of the past comes back to fight them? What more surprises will the Digidestined bring to the bad guys? And who else wants to see Beelzemon vs. BlackWarGreymon fight again?
