Hey guys, N-Black is back with a new chapter of Legacy and when we last left off, Justin was in the process of asking Kiyomi, a girl who resents him for reasons unexplained, to help him in his plan. What will be her answer and what will become of the Resistance?

Chapter 24: A Shaky Alliance

"M-My help!? What could you possibly ask of me?" Kiyomi's reaction is what Justin expected, now he just had to convince her somehow. "Why should I help you anyways?"

"Cause if you don't the Resistance is going to collapse!" That got her attention. Kiyomi placed her clipboard and quill pen on a nearby crate and crossed her arms.

"What are you planning idiot?" Justin didn't let her harsh tone get to him.

"Something that will put the army's faith back into Hikari." At the mention of Hikari, Kiyomi's eyes narrowed.

"So this plan of yours involves Milady." Kiyomi looked away and sighed. " I want the people of the Resistance, no the whole of Unova to see how great she truly is." There she goes again, raving about Hikari like she's some kind of goddess. "However, as much as I want to see her shine, I also want to see to it that she's not put into unnecessary danger. This plan of yours better not place her into any danger!" Justin could feel the seriousness in her voice.

"it won't trust me and if everything goes as planned then Hikari will have regained the army'a faith and keep leading the Resistance." Kiyomi gave him one last questioning look and sighed.

"Very well, if it will put Milady back into power then I will work with you. So what do you plan to do?"

"I can't tell you right now." Justin said quietly.

"Why not? Surely discussing it now would be the best course of action." Justin looked away, slightly embarrassed. He didn't want to talk about the plan because it wasn't exactly finished yet.

"Well maybe, but you're busy and all with inventory and its better if people don't notice us talking. They might get suspicious of you."

"Alright then... How about we talk about it after the next strategy meeting once you actuay finish you're plan?"

"Yeah that sounds good. Plus I can finish my idea for what were planning to- wait a second! You knew Id idn't have a full plan?"

"I'm not Milady's strategist for fun. We'll talk after the meeting today." Kiyomi gathered her clipboard and pen and set off down a different isle to continue her inventory. She was something else. Although he would never say it to her face, Justin was grateful that Kiyomi had joined his little scheme.

He wanted to keep the group small and with people he could trust. While he didn't really personally know Satoko, Justin did know that she was dedicated to seeing the Resistance succeed and Justin knew that anything pertaining to Hikari being in control of the Resistance meant that Kiyomi supported it.

Now the only thing left for Justin to do was to finish his plan and share it with those two. Hopefully they'll agree with his decision and they can start moving the Resistance forward...

So that's the update guys real short, but it'll move the plot along so hold on for the next one cause that will probably be coming around soon! Until next time!
