Okay sorry for the extremely long break hopefully I'll have more free time soon but life has been crazy. Now Don't worry things are finally clearing up so I should be able to post every weak again except for Christmas weak that's going to be a weak of. Now this chapter we get back to Xion's fight with Saix and we may even learn a little bit about this villain. Now if you guys have any questions whatsoever about this chapter feel free to PM me it's no trouble at all and I would love to answer any questions. With that said let's begin and please review cause I really want to know what you all thought of this one in particular.
Chapter 25 The Life of an Object
Xion stood there breathing heavy and feeling tired as well as weak. She had used up all of her power at first when she tried to fight Saix but so far Saix is appearing to be simple to powerful for the poor girl.
"I warned you didn't I about my power. I'm in a whole new league from people like Xigbar so your best bet is to give up." Saix said in a cold manner
"Yea I can tell that much for myself. Sadly I have no intention of doing that. I have to defeat you no matter what." Xion said angrily.
I doubt it will work but I have to try to go into another armor form but I've taken so much damage that I doubt it'll work besides I was warned not to force the armor to change before I was ready. Still I have no choice. Xion thought as she signed and grew annoyed.
"It's a gamble but I have no choice. Second Armor activates!" Xion said as her body began to glow and she grew a new pair of armor. Xions armor resembled the first one only it lost its wings and for some weird reason she now had four hands and four Keyblades.
All right looks like it worked. Xion thought happily.
"I didn't that that useless girl had any energy left in her." Saix said calmly.
"Huh Xion what the hell are you doing wearing my armor?" An energetic voice said sounding nervous.
"Huh what do you mean? Wait aren't you the third set of armor why the hell are you here instead." Xion asked confused.
"You must've skipped an armor. We warned you. Now you put on the wrong one but either way you better hurry up and win this before anything bad happens so I'll loan you my power but be prepared to get a rush of energy." The third armor said as Xion felt power flow through her entire body.
":let's do this." Xion said in an excited manner as she moved up to Saix at a great speed and slashed him with two of the blades.
"What the hell when did you get so fast and strong?" Saix asked annoyed
"Sorry but I have no time to explain to the likes of you." Xion said as she kicked Saix in the face and then slashed him again.
Saix fired some Ice attacks but Xion easily blocked all of them. Xion then took all four blades and started to slash at Saix and deal major damage to the insane warrior. Saix continuously tried to use different types of magic on Xion but Xion was to powerful and she was able to easily deflect all of Saix's attacks on her.
"This can't be possible. How the hell has this stupid girl gained so much power. She should be nothing but garbage compared to Me." saix said as he continued to get beaten be every attack Xion fired. Xion then swung one of her blades and cut off Saix's own arm. "You really are being ruthless today are you? You're quite hyper if you ask me. Like a wild animal." Saix said
Xion then grabbed Saix and threw him down a bunch of the stairs bringing him all the way down to one of the lower floors.
"Well now despite all of your bragging and pride, you seem to be quite weak." Xion said proudly.
Saix looked at his now disabled arm healed it out and he grew a new one were the old one had been. Are you surprised? The power of lord Xehanort isn't just physical; it gives me great healing abilities as well. Regeneration is one of the powers I possess." Saix said as he breathed heavily.
"Pity you look really tired." Xion said proudly
"Foolish girl of course I would. Regeneration takes a lot out of me. It takes pure stamina to bring back a severed arm but still I have no concern. As you would guess this makes it very difficult for you're to kill me." Saix said
"Not really it shouldn't be too hard. All I have to do is finish you off quickly." Xion said
"How foolish. Still I'm quite annoyed at something. Those armors, it seems that whenever you put a new one on, your personality changes. I suppose there's no point in asking but it does seem interesting. Of course it figures that someone as useless as you would get this power." Saix said
Keep talking it'll only get you killed in the end." Xion said quickly.
Xion resumed slashing Saix with great speed and power and she sent him flying backwards into a strange room that looked like the dining room.
"I will give you this you've separated me from that Namine girl rather well. Still I doubt it will change your fate. I'm through playing games so it's time to end this." Saix said
Saix took his weapon and created giant energy attack of pure magic power. He then swung his weapon and the beam got sent straight towards Xion with every bit of power focused on destroying her. Xion then took a stance and swung all four of her blades down at once. The two attacks collided for a second but Xion was able to cancel out the blast and remain unharmed.
"No way, that was my strongest attack and you just stopped it like it was nothing?" Saix said as he grew worried.
"Man that sure was close. I got to say I was nervous there for a second but this armor is a lot stronger than I thought it would be. I mean I've noticed that my magic may not be that strong but with power like this I don't really need it. Still you must've noticed how hopeless it is for you so you basically have no choice but to give up." Xion said as she imitated Saix from earlier in their fight.
She then flew forward and took all four blades and slashed Saix with them all causing him to drop to the floor while blood dripped from the spots on his chest that Xion slashed him.
"Well you certainly seem to be in a bit of a problem don't you? After all that talk now you are sitting there bleeding to death. I'd like to see you regenerate again but if you did that then it would involve you using what little stamina you have left. In the end you were defeated and it was by nothing more than a worthless object." Xion said with pride as she prepared to end this battle.
"NO this isn't possible. How the hell can I be pushed so far back by an annoying little bitch like yourself. People like you are just trash. You only get in our way and cause us trouble. You were weak you were pathetic, you have no right to live you useless little bitch!" Saix yelled in rage.
That's right, the weak all have to die that's how this pathetic and cruel world works. Saix thought as he forced his body to stand back up. That's right, everyone weak has to die.
(Flashback)
Why was I born? A blue haired young boy thought to himself as he was punched in the face by a bunch of older children.
"Come on Saix you started a fight you couldn't win." A child who was an orphan said as he threw the blue haired boy on the ground and stepped on his head.
Why am I so weak? Why was I born into this world if I can't do anything? The blue haired boy known as Saix thought silently to himself in pain.
"I swear you really are pathetic. You're just like the rest of us orphans but the only different is you always have that damn attitude on your face. You think you're better than us don't you. Well let me tell you something you piece of shit, you're just as pathetic as the rest of us. If anything your worse after all no one has even looked your way and you want to know why. That's because no one loves you and you were never loved to begin with. Even your own family didn't want you." The kid said
I'm pathetic. I was born as a young child and I was told by the head that my parents died in an accident shortly after I was born. I was always alone. These other kids in the orphanage they are just like me. We are all just a bunch of useless tools. Only the strong are the ones deserve to live. But why wasn't I strong. Why am I so pathetic? Saix thought to himself as he listened to the kid's words and just ignored them.
"Huh aren't you going to say something you piece of shit!" The boy said as he picked Saix up.
"You act above me but just like me you too are unwanted. You were hatted from day one all of us. In the end we are all a bunch of useless tools whose life was wasted." Saix said in a cold tone.
"Wrong, the only useless one is you!" The boy said as he began to throw a punch.
"What the hell are all you guys doing." A red haired boy said as he ran up to Saix and the other orphans.
"Shit its Axel, he's supposed to be really strong." A bunch of the kids said as they grew afraid and ran away.
"You better run you damn cowards. And next time think about what will happen if you mess with me or my buddy. You better get it memorized." The boy named Axel yelled as the kids ran off.
"Why the hell did you come?" Saix said in a cold and annoyed tone.
"I heard that you got into another fight. You know one of these days you'll just get yourself killed buddy." Axel said
"What would be so bad about that? No one would miss me." Saix said in a cold emotionless tone.
Axel then looked at his friend with a hint of anger in his eye. "That's not true... I would. Look Saix I know your parents died and you had no family but you need to stop believing as though you shouldn't even exist. You have a purpose man trust me. One day we'll be free from this damn orphanage and when we get free we will be able to live our own lives. Think how amazing that will be." Axel said with a smile.
"I swear you're such a childish dreamer. But you can dream Axel after all you are strong. If I was born half as luck as you then maybe I too would have power and a reason to live. But I don't Axel you were the lucky one but not me. You have to understand how fortunate you are." Saix said in a calm voice.
"Stop being such a downer. Look Saix there's something you need to learn in life. If someone is stronger then you then surpass them. Make other people realize how great you are that way you never have to take shit from anyone. Make your own power man. Remember that power isn't something that's given to us at birth; it's something we gain from living. No matter what you can't believe since you were born unlucky that you will die unlucky. You must make the right choices and then you'll see how your life was never pointless." Axel said
"I suppose you would believe such a fairy tale like that. Listen Axel I believe in reality. I know you believe anyone can make something out of their life but I don't." Saix said as he stood up and walked away
Still there is one thing your right about Axel, you can become strong and that's just what I will do. That's right only the strong can survive and the weak aren't even true people. Any person who's weaker than me is a mere tool in life just as I am a tool compared to someone like Axel but that won't last long. I swear I'll gain power.
(Two year latter)
"Most of the kids in the orphanage have left and found families you know." Axel said to his friend Saix
"I suppose so. Still why are you here Axel, surly someone like you could've been adopted by now?" Saix said
"You kidding me I am an idiot. Who would want a delinquent like me? There are so many other kids around that have more to offer. Besides there's no way I'm leaving my best friend behind. Got it memorized." Axel said with a smile.
"You truly are an idiot then. Listen Axel the only person you should trust in this world is yourself anyone else is an obstacle to overcome." Saix said
"Is that really how you view this world, how you view me. I think you're wrong Saix I mean look at all we've made for ourselves. I think we grow strong because of the help from our different friends." Axel said
"Wrong anyone who rely's on such things is a pathetic object not worth exciting." Saix said
"I'm sorry you feel that way though I can't blame you. You have been through hell. You never knew your parents; they died when you were a baby. You never had any friends besides me. And you always got into fights. You've had it tough and it's a miracle you're as calm as you are. But I still think you need to open up and trust people."
"Keep hoping if you will but that dream will never become a reality." Saix said as he stood up and walked away.
(One year later.)
Saix was now a freshman in high school. He lived his life calmly and when he got into high school he was finally able to leave the orphanage with Axel. Now while all this was great the two friends were still slightly older than most freshmen. Because of growing up in such a bad area the two friends were two years behind everyone and despite being freshman they were as old as most juniors. Still life was looking up for Saix slightly. He even manages to get himself a girlfriend who was a year older than him. Of course this made her a senior but still he was living his life at least.
"You know I still can't believe you're only a freshman." The girl said as Saix and her walked together.
"So what it's not my fault the orphanage taught us slow. They treated me like I was an idiot." Saix said annoyed
"Yea but you really are brilliant Saix. I mean you get such good grades that it's a pity that you get kept back. I haven't met someone as smart since myself." The girl said with a smile.
"Either way it doesn't matter. This school is just a pain in the ass. Besides I hate most of the people here anyway. It's just a pile of trash." Saix said coldly.
"I wouldn't go that far in fact I love this school. I have so many great friends there and they truly mean the world to me." The girl said in such a sweet tone
"Please not this from you too. My friend Axel speaks the same nonsense in this world about friendship and love and how it's important. I swear you and him both are insane." Saix said only to have the girl wave a figure in his face.
"Don't talk down on me Saix after all I won't have it. Man you really need to learn how to treat your girlfriend better. I'm not an object you know." The girl said
"No but only because you are strong." Saix said calmly.
"What was that? DO you need me to kick your ass?" The girl joked.
"How pointless." Saix said
(One month later)
What the hell do mean. Who are these idiot brats you keep talking to?" Saix asked
"I don't know why but there's something weird about them. I know it's weird but they really are a cheerful bunch. You should meet them their names are Roxas and Xion and they are really just the nicest guys." Axel said to his friend
"Look Saix we need to start making some new friends and your attitude isn't going to work. I know you are still convinced that life sucks but in reality you have it great. I mean you even have a girlfriend and she's quite the looker my friend." Axel said
"Enough I couldn't care less who this Roxas and Xion are. I don't understand why you care for kids who have it perfect. You should care more for the friends who are suffering." Saix said
"Saix listen I'm just making new friends. I'm not saying you're no longer my best friend but come on you're being way to jealous right now." Axel said
"You have no idea what my life has been like sure you grew up in the same place but you were always respected. I was treated like shit from day one. I learned not to trust anyone but you kept poking your head into my life. I convinced myself that I was born to be hated Axel but of course you were different. You never hated me. Instead you just kept acting as my friend. I thought you were different. You were strong so I assumed you knew what it was like to be independent but in the end you don't know do you." Saix said
"I don't see why you're so mad about Roxas and Xion so much." Axel said
"Because you talk about those worthless objects as if they are the greatest things alive. They are cheerful and because of that you think they are fantastic." Saix said
"Look you don't understand. Just being with those kids makes you want to live and try harder. It makes you happy and you want to know why. It's because they are such good hearted kids. They look at life as a great thing which is something I never got. Saix I get that you suffered and you'll always be my best friend but I need to live a life and make friends who are also positive. You can come to believe me one day with these kids and things will be better for you. I know you'll be happier." Axel said
"I will refuse to let a bunch of worthless brats make me into someone who views this horrible world as a good thing. It's too late for me to see any light and you know it Axel." Saix said as he walked away from his friend.
(Three months latter)
"Saix what the hell did you do you idiot!" Axel yelled as Saix girlfriend was also screaming at him.
"I don't see the big deal. It was just a couple of animals." Saix said
"Just a couple. You killed a bunch of defenseless animals Saix. I thought you and your girlfriend were supposed to raise them together." Axel screamed in anger.
"Maybe but honestly I saw no point. It would be a pointless activity and the animals were weak." Saix said
"Weak what the hell do you mean by that." Saix's girlfriend said
"I mean they were a bunch of little animals that couldn't defend themselves. If I didn't kill them then someone would. Disagree if you will but it's the truth. All of these animals were weak so I did what was natural. I've made up my mind Axel. The weak must die like the tools they are and the strong should live. Anyone who believes in friendship is a weak little tool. The only exception is you Axel. I still believe there's hope for you." Saix said
"Are you mad; I'm not the one who needs hope? I'm sick of trying to talk sense into you Saix. I've done everything but you seem to be a lost cause." Axel said as he turned his back and left.
Saix's girlfriend just looked at him with eyes of tears. "I thought there may be hope for you. I thought I could help save you. I know see I was wrong. I'm sorry Saix but we are through." The girl said as she walked away.
Go ahead leave like everyone else. Its fine I'm used to it that's all I've ever lived through. No one ever cared for me. Saix thought to himself.
"Your right Saix people in this world are so cruel." A voice said as an old man appeared before Saix
"Who the hell are you?" Saix asked annoyed
"A friend and one that can help show you the true path. Saix you were abandoned and treated like shit your whole life and now even your best friend and girlfriend left you. The reason is simple, it's because they fear you. I'm going to make this short Saix what's your opinion on weak humans." The old man said
"Please the weak are useless tools. Only the strong should live." Saix said
"I couldn't agree more. Believe me Saix I have power but I need you to join our group. Trust me when I say if you do vengeance will be yours" The old man said
"And just what does your group plan on doing." Saix asked
"Liberating this world of the weak and creating one of only strong. It will truly be a beautiful world. And I will give you the power to live in it." The old man said
"A world like that. I must admit it sounds great. Good then show me. Help me get to this world were we eliminate the weak." Saix said
"In due time my boy. Now allow me to introduce myself. My name is Xehanort."
(End of Flashback)
That's right Xehanort was the only one who understood. He was the only one who saw this world the same way I always have. That's why I cannot lose. That is why I will win and kill this little bitch. Saix thought to himself as he stood back up.
"This ends now. I won't fail lord Xehanort. You will fall here and now and I will not let my life become worthless. I will not become a worthless object as you have!" Saix said in rage as he rose back to his feet determined to fight and gain power.
"Keep telling yourself that either way it's over now Saix!" Xion said as she ran forward and prepared to deliver the final blow. She jumped in the air and began to slash down but as she came down, her armor and Keyblades vanished and she returned back to her original for where she had very little power. What was worse she noticed her Keyblades was missing.
"No way, this isn't happening." Xion said shocked at how her form ended mysteriously she also noticed that since the form ended without her permission, her personality wasn't altered in the slightest.
"Well well well what was that you were saying. Let me change it up a bit. It's over you useless tool!" Saix yelled as a sick grin appeared on his face and he kneed her in the chest and threw her across the a table that was inside the dining room they were fighting in. Xion went flying backwards and tried to put on a new armor but to no success. Saix then appeared in front of her and swung his sword cutting through Xions cloths and making her bleed. Xion held her stomach were she had been cut and breathed heavily only being thankful that Saix missed hitting a vital organ and failed to slash anything except her lower stomach.
"You think I missed your vital organs didn't you. We'll let me tell you something. I chose not to hit them. I want you to know how hopeless this is for you. I want you to pray to god to come save you and watch as he ignores you. Watch as he doesn't care for such a pathetic tool. It hurts I know but trust me some of us are chosen to be this way. While others walk the path of power and find meaning. I made a decision to never allow myself to become like you." Saix said
Xion simple started to laugh at this.
"I fail to see the joke in all of this." Saix said in a furious tone.
"The joke is the fact that you believe this nonsense. Are you seriously convinced that your theory is correct? What kind of crap are you on. Everyone has purpose weather you have magic and power or not. Axel knew that so why can't you. I don't know what shit you've been through in your life but your theory is wrong. Xehanort is wrong. Why can't you see that? He's only using you and he has no value for your life. He's brainwashed you to make you obey his every command. You thought you could trust him yet I'm convinced he's hiding things from you." Xion said angry
"I don't expect someone like you to understand. I also find it funny how you believe Axel disagrees. He ended up seeing things my way that's why he joined." Saix said
"Do you really believe that Axel is the type of guy to do that? If so then you are dumber than I thought. Think if Axel agrees with you then why on earth would he turn down Xehanorts power." Xion asked
"Enough I refuse to hear this nonsense. Time for your pathetic life to end." Saix said as he raised his weapon.
"Blizzaga!" A voice said as Ice surrounded Saix and trapped him inside of it making him unable to move.
Xion looked up and saw Riku standing there and walking up to her.
"Well I'm glad that worked. With the speed I used to get here I only had enough power in me for one spell." Riku said as he walked up to Xion.
"When did you get here?" Xion asked confused.
"Does it really matter either way I'm here? But if you must know I had Namine help me out. I saved her and she told me were to find you and she then went towards Roxas." Riku said
"I see thank god." Xion said
"Still look at you. You look like you have taken a ton of damage and that you have reached your limits." Riku said
"I'll say if you ask me I doubt I can even move my body." Xion said as she tried to move but to no success.
Riku then smiled a bit. "Really so then you can't do anything if I do this." Riku said as he started tickling Xion on her sides as a bit of a joke.
"Riku cut that out I'm ticklish and now isn't the right time." Xion said as she laughed her head off.
"Okay sorry but still I think it is very funny." Riku said
"I swear you're going to pay for that big-time when I'm able to move again." Xion said
"Nah I bet you'll just forget about it." Riku said as Xion looked away
"Sorry I needed your help." Xion said suddenly.
"Huh were did that come from. It's no big deal besides I'm sure I'll need your help in the near future. It's just unfair for you and Kairi. The moment you two awoken your Keyblades you had to face powerful enemies while Sora, Riku, and myself had a chance to train first." Riku said
"I guess so thanks." Xion said as she smiled.
"Still I got to say you sure were reckless in this fight. I mean from what I sensed you put your skills to their limits. I mean from what I sensed I assumed that your power would instantly end. I swear if I didn't waste most of my energy using my darkness magic to increase my speed to allow myself to get here in time. Still thankfully I knew were you were and thankfully I was the first to get here." Riku said
"Shut up you dork." Xion said in a joking tone as the two friends laughed.
Suddenly the Ice Saix was trapped in broke and a hand grabbed Riku's head and clenched it within its grasp.
"Did you really think an attack like that would be enough to take me out you pathetic child? Time to end this. On the bright side, you will feel no pain from this attack. It'll kill you instantly." Saix said
Saix began to create a ball of magic energy and began to fire it at point blank right in front of Riku's head.
Before Saix could fire his attack, a slash came out of no were that would've cut of his hand if he hadn't sensed it in time.
"When the hell did you get here?" Saix asked as the person's figure appeared before him and in front of him and Xion and Riku.
"I got here a while ago but I waited for things to truly be hopeless. In the end though I believe now was the best time to show up." A female voice said
"Of all the people it had to be someone as useless as you didn't it." Saix said
Xion looked up and recognized the beautiful girl and her bright ocean blue colored hair. "Aqua" Xion said
"Hey Xion boy am I glad I made it in time. Now then I'll talk latter but right now I have to beat this jerks but if that's okay with you." Aqua said as she looked at Saix and smiled. "It's been a while Saix though I believe It would have to be me to take you out. Either way this ends now. Still I'm sad Saix. You truly have fallen." Aqua said sounding annoyed as Saix just glared at her and he and Aqua took a fighting stance and they looked both ready to begin a battle between the two warriors.
