Kitty Grelle: Thank you! I am glad when people enjoy my story.
Skourby77: Yep, Rabbitstrike will have to get revenge on every cat!
Sunken's Insanity: Yeah she is. You know the saying: "Evil is not born, it is made."
Russetsky: He brought Rabbitstripe into Dark Forest because he saw potential. I AM SO SORRY for incorrectly saying names. When the kits sneak out of camp (First chapters) I got confused with my other story and called Firekit, Redkit. Whoops! My other story, (Took to long to write so stopped it.) had Redkit as a sister so that's why there are mistakes there. And I am sorry for calling Rabbitstrike Rabbitpaw a few times. It shouldn't happen again cause I think I got it down. Any other mistakes please tell me. Helpful notes are wanted still!
Creekfur: I won't :-)

SHORT CHAPTER, I just wanted this to be reaction to the death of Birdstripe (And for Owlfeather to be weird again...) Enjoy!

Reviews still much appreciated :-D

Chapter 24:

"No! Oh no! Someone!" Rabbitstrike snapped awake. Featherwind was howling next to Birdstripe's nest. What now? She thought, irritated at being woke up. Then last nights events rushed back to her.
"Help her! Help her!" Featherwind cried to the limp body of Birdstripe.

"Great StarClan!" Brackenfoot gasped.

"What happened?" Ivyfrost poked her head up. "No! Birdstripe!" she screeched when she saw what was happening.
"I will get Skyheart!" Cherryfrost exclaimed. Rabbitstrike felt a sliver of annoyance. If she was the one who died then they would shrug and not do anything.
Around Birdstripe, there was a pool of blood that was spreading around the den. Rabbitstrike hissed as some of it stained her fur.

"I am here!" Skyheart entered the den, a bundle of herbs dangled from his jaws. He let out a gasp as he noticed Birdstripe. Her eyes were now swollen, blood crusted the edges while a large cut marked her side, her belly had a gash in it, her forehead was a jagged edge on it, but her neck was the worst, a very deep cut marked it, so deep a sparkling white bone was seen.

"She can't be dead!" Featherwind wailed, getting Rabbitstrike to move her gaze from the corpse.
"I am sorry." Skyheart said softly.
"No! No! No! No! No!" Featherwind cried. A tear went down her cheek.

Rabbitstrike felt a pang of guilt. She killed her sister! Her own sister!
"This must be the works of a horrible animal." Volestep meowed sadly. Dawnpetal agreed.
"But what caused it?" Goldenfeather asked, inspecting the scratches.
"A dog, fox, or badger would have made to much noise and would have hurt us too, it must have been a cat." Skyheart whispered darkly. Goldenfeather gasped and looked at the cats around, as if expecting one of them to attack her.
"I must share the news with the Clan that doesn't know." Dawnpetal walked out of the den and then a few moments later her yowl rang out.
"Cats of WindClan! Gather right now!" She said sadly. Rabbitstrike went outside with some of the cats in the den. Featherwind just sat there solemnly with Birdstripe.
"Birdstripe is dead!" She yelled. Some cats let out gasps of surprise.

"Yes, it was indeed found that she was killed by a cat in the night. There is nothing we can do but wait." Dawnpetal's voice cracked with grief. "The vigil will be held all of today and the body will be buried tomorrow at sunrise." She then bowed her head in sadness.
Featherwind dragged out the body of her sister and laid it gently on a pile of moss Brownpaw spread out for her. Skyheart fetched some herbs and spread it on her body, then cats sat vigil. Rabbitstrike watched Fireblaze sit down and put her nose to the dead fur and Rabbitstrike joined her. Even if she killed her, Birdstripe was still her sister.

Her fur smelled funny with the herbs and she was ice cold.
Ivyfrost walked up and laid down next to her.
"Why are you here?" She asked, sadness filled her voice.

"She was my sister." Rabbitstrike said bitterly. Ivyfrost sure was a rabbit-brain!

"But...You hated her...We hated you...I just thought..." Ivyfrost hung her head down.
"She is still my sister." Rabbitstrike said irritated. Ivyfrost looked at her and then walked to the other side of the body. A flash of guilt went through her eyes. Did Ivyfrost really feel...Sorry for her? She shook away the thought.

"I don't get it...How did you kill her?" A voice whispered in her ear. Rabbitstrike whipped her head around and saw Owlfeather staring at her.
"I didn't! Now go away!" She spat at him. Fireblaze looked at her in confusion.
"You cannot run away from the truth." Owlfeather retorted and walked back into his den.
"What was that about?" Fireblaze looked confused.
"Nothing." Rabbitstrike put her head down.
"I cannot believe that she killed her own sister!" Rabbitstrike heard Heatherdawn say.

"I know! Who would have thought!" Smokefoot replied loudly.
Rabbitstrike gritted her teeth. They were trying to annoy her. Whatever sadness she felt from killing her sister left. She felt like her blood turned to ice again. So what if she killed Birdstripe? Others needed to pay to. She had to kill again.
