Ice Queen's Victory

"Master Makarov, do you know anything about this Silva Uzumaki? I would assume since you are young Naruto's Guild Master and from what Jura says, he has no idea who he is." Anastasia asked the old man.

"Naruto's mother's last name was Uzumaki, but he has long since passed on." Makarov was upset mentioning Kushina but carried on. "However, she did have a brother, Riku Uzumaki. You might know of his former title, Wolf Knight."

(Erza's location)

Esdeath walked out of the building and stared at Gray, however instead of her usual vigour, she felt something familiar about him. More specifically, Gray's magic. 'He made a perfect hammer construct from ice. Ice Make, just like her!' Esdeath felt rage envelop her until she calmed herself. "What's your name?" Esdeath demanded from Gray.

"Gray Fullbuster and you are?" Gray took a defensive stance and readied his hands for casting a spell in any moment. Esdeath body slowly releases ice which began to cover the ground and some of the buildings.

"Esdeath. But you don't need to remember it where you're going." Esdeath already closed the gap between her and Gray, attempting to decapacitate the ice wizard, only for Gray to duck. Erza used this land another hit on Esdeath, forcing her sliding back.

"Your opponent is me!" Erza turned to Gray. "I'm taking her out of town, this woman is too dangerous to keep her in town for long. If we let her stay here, there's no telling what she'll do." Erza moved quickly and speared Esdeath, taking them to the sky and flying them out of town.

'Dammit Erza!' Gray took to the rooftops and followed their direction. 'She said she wanted you alive, she doesn't care what state you'd be in.' Unbeknownst to them, another person was nearby and heard everything.

(With Erza and Esdeath)

Esdeath began struggling against Erza, until she had one arm free. Esdeath gripped her rapier with her free hand and attempted to strike Erza, only for Erza to release her after just barely making it to the outskirts of Magnolia.

"You allowed me to bring you here, you could have easily escaped." It was an accusation rather than a question.

"Of course, you seem to be able to fight better without worrying for weaklings. Normally I would just kill them, but I allowed you to have your way. Now! Entertain me!" Esdeath created icicles from thin air clapping her hands and sent them at Erza, who took to the skies and avoided all of them. "You cannot escape even with flight!" Esdeath had ice shards out of her wrists and ankles. Esdeath took to the air and summoned more icicles to attack Erza.

'She can fly by placing ice on her body?' Erza quickly changed to her Heaven's Wheel Armour and the swords around her spun, destroying the projectiles. Erza rushed Esdeath. Unlike before, Erza had the advantage in the skies.

'I was overconfident, I only recently developed this ability while she has experience in aerial combat.' She took a small cut on her left arm and was forced on the defensive. Erza, however, wanted to end this battle as soon as possible. The ice shard on her right arm was shattered, making her lose momentum and fall before regaining her balance.

'Those shards around her arms and legs are what allow her to fly. Taking them out will prevent her from flying.' Erza charged with her blades dancing around her. Esdeath sacrificed her ice shards to and took a hit before freezing Erza's armour and then slamming the redhead to the ground. Esdeath also crashed to the ground from Erza's attack.

Erza stood back up slowly, followed by Esdeath, who gained some minor injuries herself. Erza panted, her injuries from before and the fresh ones she just received. 'If hadn't allowed myself to take those hits from earlier, I might've had a better chance at taking her out.' Erza used Re-Quip once more and chose her Clear Heart attire, with a katana in hand. 'Focusing my magic into this sword, sacrifice all defence to increase my offence.' Erza took a stance, her katana pointing behind her and aura surrounding her body. Erza, revitalised once again rushed Esdeath, whose rapier collided with Erza's katana. Esdeath was slowly being pushed back until she pushed back Erza slowly. They both held their positions.

'She's pouring her remaining strength in her attacks, meaning she's defenceless.' Esdeath used her left to perform a gesture that created several icicles, only for Erza's power to burst and release a shockwave that destroyed them and blasted Esdeath away, only for the ice queen to land on her feet. 'What!?' Esdeath's rapier had some cracks form. 'She made my sword crack.' Esdeath placed her hand to the ground and froze the ground, but Erza moved too fast to be frozen. Esdeath repeatedly made ice to block Erza's swords strikes.

Esdeath gained some distance and created a giant pillar of ice to crush Erza. Erza, however, split it in half, but this gave Esdeath a chance to throw an ice blade she created and pierce Erza's shoulder. Erza flinched, which gave esdeath time to rush and attempt to freeze her, only to be met with an upward slash, that forced her back.

(With Gray)

"Those sounds, that has to be them!" Gray would have carried if not for a blue wyvern suddenly appearing and attempted eat him. "Where did this thing come from?" Gray jumped and landed on the creature's back. "I don't have time to deal with you." The wyvern took to the air to shake Gray off, but Gray used this to his advantage. Gray began crafting and made ice chains and a collar around the creature's neck.

(Back with Erza and Esdeath)

Esdeath made another ice blade and dual-wielded them to match Erza's attack power. She also channelled her ice magic into her rapier. Esdeath spun around and released ice shard at Erza, who focused her power into her speed to outmanoeuvre them. As Soon as she crossed the gap, she swung her blade, only for Esdeath to block with her own weapons.

"Heh!" Esdeath regained her grin and made Erza angrier, but the redhead maintained her cool to continue trading blows with the ice queen. "Give up! Your injuries are getting worse by the second. My orders were to bring you in alive."

"Never! I will be the one to defeat you here!" Erza hissed in pain, her injuries needed to be healed and she had to finish the fight. Unfortunately for her, she lacked the strength to carry on. 'I could finish this in one attack with all my magic power if she left an opening.'

"ERZA!" Gray's voice echoed and made the two combatants look to the air to see Gray controlling the wyvern.

"He took control of my pet!" Esdeath spoke her thoughts out loud and leaped out of the way as Gray forced Esdeath's wyvern to dive down to assault her, only for Esdeath to jump and then smack her pet to force Gray off.

'Damn, she's a monster like Erza.' Gray stood by Erza now and both were ready to fight her together. 'She uses Ice Magic, but her sword can make small cuts into wounds and they cannot be healed normally. And…' He saw her grin. '…I can tell she has evil in her heart.'

"Pretty reckless of you to face her by yourself in your condition." Gray told Erza who smiled at him.

"Sorry, but she is someone I could not take lightly. But since you're here, we can stop her now." Erza did not see the annoyed expression on Gray's face.

"You can try, not that it would make any difference." Esdeath felt immense dislike for Gray for some reason. She pointed her sword at his direction. "Titania I have to bring back alive, but you are expendable."

"Try it. Even though you can take Erza by yourself, you already fought enough today, and we outnumber you." Gray made his own ice sword, but unlike Esdeath's, his sword was perfectly crafted and resembled an actual sword. "Erza, let me lead and when the chance comes you finish it." Erza knew right now that she could not defeat Esdeath by herself.

"Enough talking, let's end this!" The Fairy Tail wizards moved quickly, and their weapons collided with Esdeath's.

Esdeath stepped back and created another huge pillar, riding it and then created multiple icicles to disorientate the duo. Gray spun his ice swords to block the projectiles whilst took care of the pillar.

"Got you!" Esdeath made more ice blades, but this time mimicked Erza's Heaven Wheel Armour's dancing blades, for the redhead to retreat. Fortunately for Erza, Gray used his Ice Make: Lance to take care of them, but this made Esdeath's attention turn to him. Esdeath closed the gap and used her ice blade on Gray, trying to cut him, only for Gray to stop it his bare hands. Gray used this chance to manipulate the ice blade which was turned into an axe. 'He changed the shape of my ice!' Esdeath blocked it and punched Gray back, only for the ice wizard to rebound.

"Yep, monster strength." Gray commented and then dodged some projectiles. 'She's relentless.' Erza tackled Esdeath, who rolled back and regained her footing.

"Gray, now!" Erza signalled Gray.

"Ice Make: Cannon!" Gray fired at Esdeath, who cartwheeled back from the blast, but the aftershock almost made her lose balance.

'Their teamwork is impressive. I might have to use my trump card.' Esdeath ran towards Gray and avoided Erza's charge before creating a large ice boulder and sent it at Gray, who easily broke through it. This allowed Esdeath to slam him to the ground.

"Gray!" Erza struck Esdeath with a kick and regained her vigour, forcing Esdeath on the defensive again. Esdeath also dodged ice arrows. She turned to see Gray back on his feet.

"You!" Esdeath released an icy shockwave, which forced Erza back. She rushed towards Gray, who sacrificed his bow and slid back, on his knees. He smirked as Esdeath was surprised at what happened next.

"You're finished!" Erza was now underneath Esdeath, her blade ready to finish off the Demon Blade. Esdeath then smirked.

'I don't think so. All shall freeze before me!' Esdeath focused and activated one more spell by joining the tips of her fingers. "Mahapadma!" A blue distortion came out of Esdeath and Erza stopped was frozen in place. Esdeath gave her wicked smile and placed her rapier back in its sheathe. "This trump card allows me to freeze time for a moment. Anyone apart from me cannot move. The downside is that I can only use just once a day. I saved this spell, so that I could use it to defeat that woman." Esdeath's mind briefly flashed the face of the woman she was talking about. The face was that of Ur, Gray and Lyon's old master. Esdeath then released he sword slashed Erza on her torso and then turned to Gray. "You're turn." She walked up to him quickly before her spell wore off. She was about to stop him but then saw something that shocked her, Gray's fingers twitched.

"What!?" She moved back slightly as Gray's body slightly moved. 'He's able to move in my frozen space. He's resisting the cold!' Esdeath tabbed Gray through the chest but missed his heart as Esdeath's spell deactivated and time flowed normally.

"Gah!" Both Erza and Gray said at the same time, with Erza losing consciousness soon after.

"You moved just before I pierced your heart. Should have let me pierce your heart, at least then your death would have been quick." Esdeath boasted but then saw Gray grab her blade and shatter it with his bare hands.

"Y-you haven't won yet." Gray spat out some blood and tried to get up. "I won't let you take Erza!" Esdeath created an ice blade and was ready to for the killing blow until a blur pasted her and took Gray from his spot, making Esdeath hit the ground.

"Another one?" Esdeath turned to see Naruto, holding Gray over his shoulder. "That mark." She saw the navy-blue guild mark on Naruto's right arm. "You're one of their comrades I assume?"

"That's right and I'm the one who'll beat you up." Naruto glared at her and was ready to fight her with his all, even if it left a bad taste in his mouth that she was already tired and worn out from her battle with the other two. Esdeath smirked and looked to the side.

"Pick up the girl." Esdeath's pet wyvern roared and picked up Erza with its back, forcing Naruto to become distracted enough for Esdeath to freeze him in place for a brief second before the Dragon Slayer escaped from it with Gray. Esdeath sat on her pet as it took flight. Naruto was about to drop Gray, but the ice wizards wound began to get worse.

"Gray!" Naruto was worried for his friend and then heard Esdeath's laughing, turning to her. Esdeath held up a bottle and poured the contents at Erza, the blood on the redhead disappearing.

"This was the only antidote on me, I brought it with me since I need Titania alive. Your friend, however, is useless to me." Naruto wanted to jump ad take her out, but Gray was running out of time. "Your choice, you can fight me or you can save your comrade? What will you choose?" She was smug as Naruto chose to save Gray's life, but not before saying a few words.

"We will find you and we'll take Erza back! no matter where you are!?" Naruto was then surprised as Esdeath tossed him a scroll.

"That will lead you to me and make sure to bring your friends from the guild with you, I want a good fight." Esdeath left with Erza as Naruto used Dragon Jet to bring Gray to Wendy, so that she could heal him.

End. First, Eid Mubarak to everyone. Sorry for the rushed conclusion, but I wanted this out before I go to sleep. Next chapter will be better and longer.

Also, before fanboys or fangirls rant, right now Gray is not immune completely to Esdeath's time stop but he will be over time. Think of it like how Jotaro was only able to move slightly from Dio's The World's time stop. Also, they never really explained Esdeath's time stop at all and al we got was Tatsumi's Incursio adapting to the cold to be able to move in it. (They could've done it better but then I would have to rant, and I'm done ranting about manga/anime with inconsistency.)

Also, I will be writing the final chapter of Bonds of Fairies next so that I may pursue other story ideas. Also, the last question, the voice actors for Ostrava and Anastasia are the same actors for Meliodas and Elizabeth in Seven Deadly Sins. Also, the title Wolf Knight is from Dark Souls, Knight Artorias. Please review.
