Chapter 24

"A power from the Astral World"?

Darka was talking with Yuma and Astral on Sirius's D-Gazer with Sirius standing next to her. "Yeah it helped us with our duel against Kite that's for sure", Yuma said.

"But why would the door tell me about it now"? Darka asked.

"The door told you that beings were interfering with the agreement so it must be telling you both to hurry and beat the Barian Emperors to continue with the agreement", Astral said.

"Easier said then done", Darka sighed.

"Hey by the way wheres Astrana? She should've explained to you about Zexal", Yuma said.

"She went to go pick up some medicine for me but I am wondering what is taking her so long", Darka said worried.

"Its my turn draw"!

Astrana braced herself as he then smirked. "I activate the spell card Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force"!

"What"?! Astrana yelled shocked.

"With this I can rank up my number to Cxyz summon Number C105: Battlin' Boxer Comet Cestus"!

Astrana gasped in shock as the chaos number appeared on the field.

"Now I let my monster attack you directly! Celestial Burst"!

And with that attack Astrana's Enchantress was destroyed.

"Next I activate Comet's ability when this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard it inflicts damage to your opponent equal to half the destroyed monster's original ATK"! Alit yelled.

"What"?! Astrana yelled.

"I activate the trap card Xyz Rebirth if my xyz monster was destroyed in battle with its overlay untis I can special summon a Xyz monster with its name from my extra deck. So appear now Lady of the black night! Number C38 Black Rose Enchantress"!

"I end my turn then", Alit finished.

"If this keeps up I wont be able to win this duel brother... Darka... I'm sorry".

A tear slipped out of Astrana's eye she gasped and looked. "What is this"? she thought.

Then Astrana began lightly glowing as Alit gasped. "Whats going on"?! he thought.

Darka gasped in shocked. "Astrana"? she thought.

Then her key began glowing silver Sirius, Yuma, and Astral gasped in shock. "Whats happening"?! Darka yelled.

She then disappeared leaving behind Sirius's D-Gazer she then appeared to the door. "Again"? she thought.

"Now fly through the door", the door said.

It glowed as the chains broke and it began opening. "Fly through this door and get a new power in your hands. But as an exchange the being will lose her most preciouses belonging. Are you prepared"?

Darka didn't understand of what was going on but there was one thing she knew for a fact that Astrana was in danger.

"ASTRANA"! she yelled.

Back at the duel Astrana gasped in shock to hear Darka's voice. "Darka?! Darka is that really you"?! she thought.

"Yeah its me Astrana. Whats going on? Whats happening"? Darka asked.

"Im dueling one of the Barians and so far I'm at a the end of the rope how you say", Astrana thought to her.

"Then wait up I'll find a way to get to you"! Darka yelled.

"No don't Darka! Your still too weak from the duel against Misael I cant allow you to come here for you health to grow weaker or worse! Besides this is my fight to begin with", Astrana told her.

"Astrana this isn't something you need to do by yourself! We are both of the same being through heart, body, mind, and soul even if I'm a hybrid"! Darka growled.

Astrana was shocked of her words and stayed silent.

"Its Zexal"!

"What"?! Astrana grew wide eyed in shock.

"The voice from the door said so. It said we should get the power of Zexal in our hands"! Darka said.

"What do you know about Zexal"? Astrana asked.

"So you do know about Zexal just like Astral and Yuma said", Darka said.

"Yes for Zexal is the amazing power that is from my world", Astrana said.

"But that being will lose her most precious belonging as an exchange", the door said as the wind blew furiously.

"Then I will obtain it Astrana if it means saving you I'll pay any price! So its time to fly high to heaven"!

Darka then ran in the door and jumped off the cliff she gasped as a silver light enveloped her causing her to transform to silver mist as she disappeared. Astrana gasped in shock of the feeling inside her. "Darka... Its my move! And I build the overlay network with Darka and me"! she yelled.

Then Darka appeared still enveloped by the silver mist as Astrana then became enveloped in aquamarine mist shooting up to Darka. " When two souls from faraway meet the heaven like power will appear! Now Darka"! Astrana yelled.

"Lets fly to heaven"! Darka yelled.

The two mists combined as one.

"Xyz Change Zexal"!

Alit gasped in shock as a piercing silver glow was shot down Alit covered his eyes when he looked he gasped to see Darka wearing a bright silver long sleeved shirt with light blue designs on the sleeves, starling black light shoulder armor, her D-Gazer now on but was now red and black with white lens, fingerless pale blue gloves, high low white skirt, with white legging, silver boots, white crystal earrings, her eyes one crimson amber from her hybrid form as the other was Astrana's rose red, her markings and Astrana's markings lightly traced on her body and face, and her silver hair now more brighter like the moon with it raised in a high ponytail wrapped in bright light with one of the bangs being colored light blue.

"Impossible! They were able to unlock the power of Zexal"! Alit said shocked.

Yuma and Astral gasped in shock feeling a familiar power. "Astral you sense it too"? Yuma asked.

"Yes it seems Darka and Astrana have been able to perform Zexal morph", Astral said.

"Guys whats going on?! Do you have any idea wheres Darka"?! Sirius asked through the D-Gazer.

"They are dueling somewhere we have to search for them", Astral said.

"Right Sirius meet up with us at our house and we'll look for the,", Yuma said.

Darka blinked then gasped as she looked at herself. "What the? Is this me"? she asked herself.

"And with my powers", Astrana said.

"To form Zexal"!

Alit looked at her shocked. "They were able to fuse together just like with Yuma and Astral... But even so your LP are still 900", he said.

"That low"?! Darka asked shocked.

"We can win this Darka", Astrana told her.

Darka then saw her hand glow silver as Astrana continued. "It all depends on your draw in the duel of the strongest duelist everything is inevitable only by a single drawn card a duelist is created just concentrate Darka".

Darka looked at her glowing hand then nodded. "Right lets go Astrana! With the power of the Heavens of the bright light become the power to my right arm and show the path to courage! SHINING DRAW"!

Her card glowed silver as she drew the card.

"Appear now Zexal weapon Heavens Bow Phoenix"!

And appearing on the field was a bright red and gold phoenix it screeched as it flown high to the sky its wings blazing with golden flames.

" Heavens Bow Phoenix becomes an equip card to enchantress and increases her attack points by 1700! Change Phoenix Bow"! Darka and Astrana yelled together.

The phoenix screeched as it glowed and flown to Black Rose Enchantress in a bright light the phoenix transformed to a red and gold bow in Black Rose Enchantress's hand.

"4600 atk points"?! Alit said shocked.

"Next theres Phoenix's other ability once its been equipped to a monster the monster can attack my opponent directly"! they yelled together.

"WHAT"?!

"Now Black Rose Enchantress attack! Sacred Heavens Arrow"!

A golden and silver arrow appeared in Black Rose Enchantress's hand as she then aimed and fired straight at Alit.

"AHHHH"!

Alit groaned as he got up the field going back to normal Darka then walked to Alit as he turned back to human form he closed his eyes bracing himself for the worse when nothing happened he looked up and was surprised to see a hand in front of him. "You need a hand getting up"? she asked.

He grew wide eyed in surprised as Astrana was surprised as well he then took the hand as Darka pulled him up. "Whats your name"? she asked

"Alit one of the Barian Emperors", he said still surprised of her action.

"Nice to meet you I'm Darka, Astrana's partner", Darka said.

Alit looked at her. "How can you still be nice to me? I mean I thought you hated us Barian Emperors", Alit said.

"No only Vector and that Misael guy besides them I don't think of any other Barian as an enemy", Darka said.

"How"?

"Well for one thing my sister, uncle, and my grandfather are Barians and second I have two Barian guards which are my friends", Darka smiled.

Alit grew wide eyed as Yuma, Astral, Sirius, Lyra, and Manami rushed over to them and gasped in shock. "Holy Crimson Dragon you were right"! Manami said shocked to Yuma and Astral.

"Alit"! Yuma said.

"Oh Yuma", Alit said.

Darka looked to see the others as Yuma and Astral ran to them. "Yuma you know Alit"? she asked.

"Yeah we're good friends and rivals", Yuma said.

"Friends and rivals"? she said surprised.

Then Darka giggled and they looked at her. "Whats so funny"? Yuma asked.

"Oh nothing. And look Alit you really are a good duelist if you were able to get Astrana to a corner like that we should duel again and next time just for fun deal"? she asked putting out her hand.

Alit looked at her shocked but he then grinned and nodded shaking her hand. "You bet Darka-chan", he said.

Darka smiled as Sirius, Lyra, and the others looked at her shocked but Manami couldn't help but smiled glad one of her sisters became friends with a Barian.

Aurasoul: And Im finally done and I would like to thank Durbe the Barian on helping me with the design on Darka and Astrana's Zexal morph.

Darka: Next time its now a couple of days before the tournament but after one training exercise the group loses an ally and gains another enemy.
