A/N: Sorry for the wait. Hope you enjoy this chapter! The birth of baby Ella has finally come.
Chapter 25
Atthehospital
"No, I've already called. I called when my wife and I were on our way here. She's in labour and she wants a private room." Brittany was saying to the woman behind the desk while Santana stood behind her, one hand on her back and the other on her hip as she tried her best to keep her breathing steady while her contractions hit.
"Alright, ma'am, let me check again. What's your last name?" The woman asked.
"Pierce." Brittany said, testing her hands against the counter as she waited for the woman to check the computer.
"Oh, yes. Sorry for the confusion, Ms Pierce. We have a private room ready for you. Just follow me." The nurse said as Brittany nodded while another nurse helped Santana into a wheelchair. They walked into Santana's private room and a nurse helped Santana into the bed while Brittany took out her phone and dialed a number.
"Hey Bug! What's up? Ididjustseeyouaboutanhourago." Brittany's mom answered.
"Yeah, hey mom. I know you just saw me and San but, uh, you may have to see us again in a little bit." Brittany said, ticking her free hand into her pocket.
"Oh!Areyoutwocomingover?" Jennifer asked.
"Nope. San's water broke about twenty minutes ago. We're at the hospital. Surprise!"
Jennifer didn't say anything for a long while until Brittany swallowed the nervous lump rising in her throat.
"Bug,daddyand I areonourway." Jennifer said excitedly, "Oh, this is soexciting!" Brittany smiled and looked at Santana who was in the process of opening a baby magazine.
"Okay, great ma. We'll see you in a few. We're in a private room on the second floor. Room 16." Brittany said with a relieved tone, "I gotta go now. I need to call my other parents but we'll see you in a bit."
"Okay, sweet pea. I love you."
"I love you too, ma. Bye."
As soon as Brittany had hung up, she dialed another number and held the phone to her ear, waiting to hear the loud, Spanish voice belonging to her mother-in-law.
"Holamija!Whyyouphonesolate? I watch my show now."
"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt your show. But, San just went into labour. We're at the hospital on the second floor. Room 16." Brittany said with a slight shake in her voice. Now the nerves were starting to show.
"Oh mygoodness!Ai,we'reonourway! We'llseeyouin a fewminutes,Brittany.Tellmybabywe'reonourway.Also, a tinytipforyou, breathe. I can hear you scared but is okay. Allyouhavetodoisbreathe andkeeptellingyourselfthatyourbabygirlwillbewithyouandinyourarmssoon." Mrs Lopez said. Brittany sighed and smiled.
"Thanks. I will. So, we'll see you in a few minutes."
"Si,mija.Teamo."
"Love you too. Bye."
Brittany sighed and tucked her phone back into her pocket before walking over to Santana and pressing a kiss to her forehead. The Latinas dark hair was tied in a messy bun now and her lips were all glossed up. Brittany smiled at how her wife clearly thought that getting ready to give birth meant putting on make-up and gently kissed her cheek.
"Our parents are on their way. I'll just post it on Facebook that you went into labour so that all our friends and family know and we won't have to call them all." Brittany said, sitting down and taking out her phone, logging onto Facebook and posting this:
"Santana went into labour an hour ago! We're in the hospital and getting ready to meet our daughter! In a few hours, the very first edition to our family will be in the world! I can't wait to hold her."
The nurse came in about five times to check how far dilated Santana was and so far she was only 3 centimetres. Santana's and Brittany's patents had arrived and Mr Pierce and Mr Lopez were getting coffee while Mrs Pierce and Mrs Lopez were helping Santana breathe through her contractions. Brittany was speaking to the nurse as she checked Santana's dilation.
"So, how far along is she now?" Brittany asked, "She's really in a lot of pain with all these contractions so is there any way she's 10 centimetres?"
"No, I'm sorry, Ms Pierce. She's 4 centimetres now. But I think we're going to have to perform a cesarean. I'll just get doctor Murphy." The nurse said, causing Brittany's eyes to widen and her hands to start shaking.
"A ces- A cesarean? Did she just say she may have to cut my wife open?" Brittany asked with wide eyes as she looked at her mom. Jennifer smiled and nodded.
"Yes. But if they do have to perform one then she'll be numb from the waist down. She won't feel anything and they're professionals. They know what they're doing pumpkin." Jennifer said.
"Si, when I had Ethan I had to get a cesarean but that's because he wasn't in the right position. No because I wasn't 10 centimetres." Yolanda said, her thick spanish accent a calming tone for Santana as she closed her eyes and inhaled deeply through her nose.
"Santana, baby, are you okay with maybe having to get a cesarean?" Brittany asked as she placed her hand on Santana's forehead and moved the strands of hair out of the way before leaning forward and pecking a tan forehead.
"No but if there's no other way to get her out then I'm gonna have to get sliced open." Santana said, opening her eyes and looking at Brittany, "I'm not worried about getting a c-section I'm just worried about the hideous scare it'll leave."
"Well, as long as you're okay with that then I am too." Brittany said as Doctor Murphy came into the room.
"Okay, let's see what the problem is here." She said, pulling her latex glove on and proceeding to check Santana's dilation, "Alright, you are now five centimetres so we're half way there. I just need to check if she's in the birthing position. If she's not then we'll have to perform a cesarean. Now, Santana, have you felt any kicks since you went into labour?" Doctor Murphy asked as she pressed gently on Santana's stomach.
"Yeah, a few." Santana answered. Doctor Murphy nodded and took off her gloves.
"Where did you feel the kicks?" She asked, throwing her gloves into the trash can.
"Um, they were just under my ribs. About here." Santana answered, pointing to underneath her ribs while Doctor Murphy nodded.
"Okay, well then that means her feet are up there so therefore her head is down here." Doctor Murphy said, "She's in the birthing position so, we won't have to perform a cesarean. You're just going to have to hang on for a few more hours until you're ten centimetres. I'll be back to check how far along you are in about an hour."
"Okay, thank you." Santana said with a smile. Brittany let out a relieved breath and squeezed Santana's hand.
"Thank god for that." Brittany said, "How are you doing, sweetie? You still okay?"
"I'm still okay. Don't worry." Santana assured as Skip and Antonio came in with coffee and juices. Santana smiled as she saw her father in-law walking with his feet apart for balance as he struggles with four cups of coffee while, behind him, her father walked in with a bottle of orange juice.
"Skip, are you sure I cannot help you? It seems as though you're struggling." Antonio said. Santana smiled and looked at Brittany who was frantically typing something on her phone.
"Don't worry I got it." Skip said, aa he looked at Jennifer for help. Jennifer rolled her eyes and went to take two coffees from her husband, "Okay, those two are yours and Yolanda's."
Skip then stood up straight and smiled, handing Antonio's coffee to him, watching as the large, muscled man accepted it and tried to hold in a chuckle.
"Mija, I have your juice." He said, using his daughter as a distraction, "Brittany, you're sure you did not want anything? I am happy to go back."
"Oh! Um, yeah I'm sure. I don't have time to eat or drink anything right now." She said as she glanced up from her phone for a second before her frantic eyes focused on it again, causing a chuckle to escape Antonio and Skip's lips. Santana sighed and closed her eyes as she felt another contraction. Antonio immediately held onto his daughter's hand and placed his hand om her forehead in a soothing manner. Brittany put her phone in her lap and was quick to take her wife's free hand in her own, pressing soft kisses to it.
"Ow, ow, ow." Santana groaned as she squeezed her eyes shut and clenched her jaw. Her face contorted in pain and Antonio spoke softly.
"Is okay, mija. Just breathe. Breathe in like this," he said, taking a deep breath and smiling when his daughter copied, "and now breathe out." She did and Brittany watched with an unnoticeable expression in her eyes, "Keep breathing, si? It will make it all better."
Yolanda's eyes found Brittany's and she adjusted the grip she had on her coffee cup before moving over to her daughter in-law and taking her hand, leading her toward the door.
"Brittany and I are just going for a walk, si? We'll be back in a few minutes." She said, smiling when Jennifer nodded and they walked out of the room. Yolanda closed the door behind them and then linked her arm with Brittany's as they walked down the hall of the hospital, "Are you okay, mija?"
"Uh, yeah. Yeah. Of course I'm okay. I'm great! Having a baby soon. Why wouldn't I be okay?" Brittany said in one breath. Yolanda smiled knowingly as they walked and gave Brittany's arm a small squeeze.
"How you're feeling is okay." Yolanda said as they turned toward the waiting area, "Antonio was the same when we had Santana. Especially because my father wouldn't let him be my husband. Do you understand what I say?"
"Not exactly."
"My father was so busy holding my hand and telling me to breathe when I had contraction that he didn't realize it wasn't his job to do this." Yolanda explained as they sat down in the waiting area, "Is Antonio's job to help me through, si? He is my husband. My father is my father. He allowed to be there for me but he no allowed to be my husband. This is Antonio's job, si?" Brittany nodded and gulped.
"I get it."
"So, Antonio... he feel like bad husband and he feel left out. So, you know what he does?"
"No, what did he do?"
"He look at my father and he say: 'I thank you for helping Yolanda through contractions but she is no your wife. She is my wife and she is having my child. You had your chance to be a husband when your wife was pregnant and now is my turn.' Are you understanding?"
"Um, I'm understanding that Antonio is a badass." Brittany said with a sad smile. Yolanda smiled and shook her head.
"I'm try to say that all you must do is say to Antonio to not be Santana's... how do you say?... Um, coach through the labour. This is your job as her wife and you must say this to him." Yolanda said. Brittany smiled softly and shook her head.
"I can't do that. He's my father in-law. I'd feel like I'm disrespecting him." Brittany said.
"Ai, Brittany, is no disrespect. Santana is your wife and she's going to have your child soon. You must hold her hand and help her through it. Antonio must spine off." Yolanda said, flailing her free hand in the air.
"You mean, back off?" Britany asked with a small smile. Yolanda nodded.
"Si, si, back off. Is what he must do, si? And you must tell him." Yolanda said, "I see you're sad because you cannot help Santana through and so you must say to him that is not for him to worry about."
"Okay... I guess I could." Brittany said, "Thanks, mom."
"Si, mija. Now, let us move back to room. Santana needs you."
"Okay, mija, is okay. Just keep the breathing going and you be fine. This is a promise." Antonio was saying as Brittany and Yolanda walked back in. Brittany's blue eyes went sad at the sight and Yolanda gently rubbed her back. Santana arched her back and clenched her jaw and squeezed her eyes shut in pain.
"I don't want to fucking breathe! I want this baby out of me!" Santana said. Brittany's eyes widened in fear and she looked at Yolanda and then at her mother for help. Jennifer nodded for her to go to Santana's side as did Yolanda. The latina took a few heavy breaths as the contraction settled. Brittany just stood and watched like a child left out at it's own party. Santana tried to catch her breath as Antonio stood by her. Brittany was about to leave the room as the tears filled her eyes and her courage seemed to slowly disappear when Santana continued to speak, "Papi, where's Brittany?"
"I'm right here." Brittany spoke up, wiping at her eyes and moving over to Santana.
"Oh, baby, thank god. I thought you left." Santana said as Brittany took her free hand.
"I'd never leave. Are you okay?" Brittany asked.
"I'm better now." Santana said, "You know, cause you're here."
Brittany smiled and kissed Santana's lips gently as the Latinas brown eyes filled with warmth.
"These contractions are killer. I've been swearing like a sailer."
"That's okay. I know we promised we wouldn't swear in front of Ella but you're in pain and it's not like her first word is gonna be: fuck. You know?" Brittany said. Santana chuckled.
"Don't jinx it." She said. Brittany smiled and pecked the Latinas nose.
"You okay with your juice? Need anything else?" Brittany asked.
"Um... how's about kisses? Lot's and lot's of kisses." Santana said with a cheeky smile. Brittany smiled as well and didn't notice Antonio moving toward Yolanda. The blonde leaned forward and pressed her lips to Santana's, molding them together gently and slowly. Jennifer and Skip slowly left the room and passed Doctor Murphy in the hall. When Brittany pulled put of the kiss, she looked up for her parents and saw only Antonio and Yolanda.
"Where'd my parents go?" She asked. Yolanda put her hand on Antonio's shoulder.
"They went to the waiting room. Which is where myself and Antonio are going. To give you two some privacy." Yolanda said as Doctor Murphy walked in. Brittany nodded and smiled as Yolanda walked out. Antonio stood and watched as Brittany nudged Santana's nose with her own. With a small smile, he turned and left the room. Doctor Murpy smiled and closed the door before putting on her latex glove and checking Santana's dilation.
"Well, looks like the little one really wants to come out soon. You're 7 centimetres." Doctor Murphy said, "How are the contractions going? Are they getting bad?"
"Yeah. Hurts like a bi- girl dog." Santana said. Doctor Murphy smiled.
"Okay, so, on a scale of 1 to 10, ten being the worst, how do you feel?" Doctor Murphy asked, taking off her glove.
"Like... 8. I'm not crying yet, so... yeah, I'd say 8." Santana said.
"Okay, now do you want to do this naturally or do you want an epidural?"
"Oh, no, I want the epidural. Gimme the drugs, seriously, I can't do this without them." Santana said. Brittany smiled and kissed her forehead.
"Alright. I'll get a nurse to come in and get that done for you." Doctor Murphy said before walking out of the room. Santana smiled and inhaled deeply as she lulled her head to the side to look at Brittany.
"Did you know that our baby daughter is gonna be here soon?" Santana asked, watching as Brittany's eyes lit up.
"I can't wait." The blonde said with a growing smile.
"Ow, ow, ow.. 'nother contraction." Santana said, causing Brittany's hands to squeeze her own, "Shit! Ow, crap this hurts."
"It's okay, baby, I'm right here." Brittany said as her hand was in the process of getting crushed, "It's okay. Just hang in there. You can do it... it's almost over."
"Okay! Let's give you that epidural, shall we?!" The nurse exclaimed excitedly as she walked in. Brittany nodded at the nurse before kissing Santana's sweat dampened forehead.
"Where have you been?! Ow! Fuck!" Santana yelled as Brittany tried to calm her down as well as trying to calm her own panic.
"It's okay, sweetheart. It'll pass. It's almost over." Brittany said as her hand was crushed and began to turn white. Santana's grip began to loosen on Brittany's hand and she started to calm down.
The nurse began hooking up the epidural and once that was all over and Santana was hooked up to drugs, the nurse smiled and left the room after informing them that Doctor Murphy would be back in about an hour.
As soon as the drugs started kicking in, Santana got Brittany to put a straw in her orange juice and she began to drink. Brittany smiled as she rubbed Santana's belly and watched the latina drink her juice like a child that had just run a marathon. Her nostrils were flaring and her eyes were wide and pouty.
"Is that good?" Brittany asked with a chuckle. Santana let go of the straw and smiled with a nod.
"Super refreshing." She said, "Hey, babe, do you think Ella will look like you or like me?"
"I think she'll look like both of us."
"Babe, do you think she'll have a thing-ding-ding or a hoo hoo?"
"We already know she has a penis, baby."
"Oh yeah... I forgot." Santana shrugged. Brittany smiled and moved a strand of hair out of Santana's face, "Hey, babe. Let's do this baby quiz in this magazine."
Santana handed Brittany a baby magazine and watched as the blonde turned the pages until she got to the page with the quiz.
"Okay, first question. If it's bath time, how do you check the water temperature?"
"Oh! This was at the baby shower! Stick your elbow in it." Santana said as Brittany nodded.
"If your baby has just eaten what should you do?"
"Burp it!"
"Yep!" Brittany said with a smile, "Okay, how many times should you feed your baby?"
"Every... two hours?"
"Okay, that's good, cause that's an option here. Next question, uh... why should you use diaper cream?"
"So that your baby doesn't get a rash, duh!" Santana said.
"Okay, last question. What is the best position for your baby to sleep in?"
"On it's back because if it sleeps on it's front, there's a chance that it could stop breathing. But if your baby sleeps on it's front by itself, it should be okay but you have to keep an eye on it." Santana said with a proud nod at the end.
"That's right. Okay, your result is: 'Congratulations!Withyourknowledgeonparentingandhowto raiseyourbaby, youaregoingtobeanamazingmother.' Good job babe!"
"Thank goodness." Santana smiled, "Hey, babe, when is Doctor Murphy coming back to check how far along I am?"
"Uh... about twenty minutes." Brittany said as she looked at the clock on the wall.
"Okay," Santana nodded, "Hey, babe, did you know that I'm ready to have this baby now?"
"That's good, love."
"Yeah, I just wanna get her out." Santana said. Brittany smiled and took out her phone to check Facebook after all the hectic buzzing.

The comments went on and on and Brittany's post had almost 31 likes already. She smiled and tucked her phone into her pocket.
"I can't wait to see her." Brittany said as she rubbed Santana's belly and leaned forward to talk to Ella, "Hi, baby girl. We can't wait to meet you. You gotta come out soon 'cause mama and I can't wait any longer to hold you."
Brittany rested her head on Santana's belly and rubbed small circles on it with a content smile. Doctor Murphy came in with a smile and a glove on her one hand. Brittany sat up straight and looked at Santana as Doctor Murphy checked how far along Santana was. She then removed her glove and threw it in the trash before resting both her hands on Santana's knees.
"You are exactly 10 centimetres. We're ready to move to the delivery room." Doctor Murphy said with a smile. Brittany looked at Santana and her smile grew tenfold, "Dolores! Adam! Lets go! Room 16! We got a baby to deliver."
The nurses came in and started prepping Santana for delivery before telling Brittany to take her phone out and leave it in the room while they moved to delivery.
"Okay, Brittany when we get to the delivery room, just follow me and we'll get your hands cleaned up while Doctor Murphy gets Santana ready for delivery." One of the nurses said. Brittany nodded and smiled as they began to wheel Santana out of the room. She walked next to the bed and held Santana's hand as the brunettes brown eyes filled with tears.
"This is so exciting." Brittany said as she turned her head to look at her wife. Her face fell when she saw her favorite brown eyes shimmering with tears, "What's wrong?"
"I just got really scared." Santana said, "And I can't feel anything from the waist down but I'm so scared."
"Me too. I'm scared too. But by the end of this, we're going to have a beautiful baby girl in our lives." Brittany said, "And she is what makes being as scared as we are worth it."
"Okay, Brittany, come with me." The nurse said as they arrived at the delivery room. Santana's eyes widended and she shook her head.
"No, no, I need her. She's not going anywhere." Santana said. Brittany smiled gently and pecked the Latinas forehead.
"I just gotta wash my hands." Brittany said, "I'll be a few minutes. Okay?"
"Okay." Santana said as Doctor Murphy wheeled her into the delivery room while Brittany washed her hands just outside. When she walked into the delivery room after washing her hands for four minutes exactly, Doctor Murphy was putting on gloves and getting ready to deliver the baby. Santana smiled at her and the blonde smiled back as she walked over to her wife.
"This is it, ladies." Doctor Murphy said, "Are you ready to have a baby?"
"Yeah," Brittany said, "we are."
"Perfect. Now, Santana, I'm going to count to ten and when I get to ten, I want you to push, okay?" Doctor Murphy instructed and watched as Santana nodded, "One, two, three..."
"It's okay, baby, don't be scared. I'm right here." Brittany whispered as Santana breathed heavily.
"...four, five, six..."
"I'm here, baby. Right here."
"...seven, eight, nine, ten. Okay, push."
Santana closed her eyes and pushed as hard as she could while squeezing Brittany's hand for support. Brittany watched as Doctor Murphy held her hands in position to get ready to pull out the baby.
"Okay, Santana, that's great. I'm gonna need you to take a deep breath and then push again." Doctor Murphy said, eyes focused on the task at hand. Santana opened her eyes, looked deep into Brittany's blue eyes and then closed them again, taking a deep breath in and pushing again, "You're doing great, Santana. Keep pushing." Santana obeyed and kept pushing as hard as she could.
"Oh, my god, I see her head." Brittany said as she looked between Doctor Murphy's hands at the tiny brunette head of hair, "San, you're doing great, keep pushing." Overwhelmed tears began to fill Brittany's blue eyes as Doctor Murphy's gloved hands gently cupped the small head and began to help Santana by gently pulling.
"Okay, Santana, take a really deep breath and give me one last big push. She's almost here." Doctor Murphy instructed as small tears of happiness fell from Brittany's eyes as she squeezed Santana's hand and smiled at the brunette who was in the middle of her last push.
"I'm so proud of you." She whispered with a gentle kiss to Santana's head as loud cries filled the room and Santana opened her eyes.
"She's here! Brittany, come over here and cut the cord." Doctor Murphy said as Santana relaxed and let a smile grace her face as she looked at the tiny, crying little human being wrapped in a blanket and passed to her after Brittany had cut the ombilical cord.
Santana let happy tears fall as she looked down at the beautiful little girl in her arms, running her index finger over the small brown hairs on the tiny head.
"Hi, baby girl." She said softly as the tiny baby in her arms slowly stopped crying. Brittany gently cupped her daughters tiny cheek and smiled as she saw how her fingers wrapped all the way over the top of Ella's head and reached the ear on the other side of her small face, "She's so beautiful."
Brittany wiped her tears away and smiled when tiny little eyes opened, revealing sparkling blue.
"We have to get her cleaned up and weighed." One of the nurses said causing Santana to hesitantly hand her over. Ella started crying again as Santana passed her over causing the brunette to begin hushing.
"Ssh, baby, it's okay. You'll come right back once you've been weighed and cleaned up."
Brittany smiled and kissed Santana's cheek as the nurses gently cleaned baby Ella and continued to lay her on the scale, weighing her. Ella was crying and flailing her arms in the air as the nurses took down her weight in pounds and ounces and then wrapped her in a clean blanket. They then handed her over to Brittany while letting the both of them know her weight. Brittany stared down into Ella's big blue eyes and smiled.
"Hi," she whispered, "It's so amazing to finally meet you. I'm your mommy... You're the most beautiful baby girl I've ever seen. I love you so much."
Santana stared lovingly at Brittany and Ella as the nurses brought over a wheeled bassinet. Brittany leaned down and pressed a small kiss to Ella's small forehead before gently laying her in the bassinet.
"We just need to give her a proper bath and then get her dressed before bringing her to your room." Doctor Murphy said as she stitched Santana up and then looked at Ella, "She's really a beautiful baby. I mean I've said that to a lot of parents but, you two are very lucky to have a such a stunning daughter. She's really exquisite."
"Thanks." Santana said as Brittany took out the small white newborn onezie from their bag as well as the tiny little socks and sleeping hat. She handed it to the nurse and smiled as she watched the nurse wheel her daughter out of the delivery room.
Santana was wheeled back to her private room with Brittany walking right next to her, beaming smiles on both their faces. As soon as they got back to the room, Brittany threw her arms around Doctor Murphy earning a chuckle from Santana and the doctor.
"Thank you for taking care of my wife and baby." She said softly, "When are your nurses bringing her back 'cause I miss her."
"A few minutes. As soon as she's back and you feel ready, you're allowed visitors." Doctor Murphy said, "Now, if you'll excuse me. I have another baby to deliver."
"Oh! Well then by all means, go deliver that baby." Brittany said. With a smile and a small congratulations, Doctor Murphy left the room. Brittany sat down next to Santana's bed and let the baby bag fall off her shoulder, "I forgot to give the nurse a diaper."
"Sweetheart, this is a hospital. Babies are delivered here every hour. I'm sure they have diapers." Santana said as she wiped her cheeks.
"God... she really is stunning isn't she?"
"Yeah... I'm so in love with her already." Santana said as she looked at Brittany.
"Me too." The blonde said as she rubbed her thumb across the back of Santana's hand, "We have a daughter."
"We do." Santana said with an amused chuckle, "Thank you, by the way. You were so amazing. I wouldn't have been able to do it without you."
"You would've been able to do it." Brittany said, "But I'm glad I was there. I'm so proud of you, Santana. You did so well."
"I didn't feel her come out but when I saw your face, I knew she was there." Santana said with a soft smile.
"Did you know that we're parents?" Brittany said with a dazed look in her eyes. Santana chuckled and nodded.
"I did know that." Santana said, "Is the car seat in the car for when we leave?"
"Yeah, it's in the trunk. I'll take it out and put it in the back seat tomorrow." Brittany said, "The bassinet's in the trunk as well. I can go get it a little later."
"Okay... all we need now is our baby. Jeez, what is taking so long?"
"Well, she's pretty small so the nurses are probably being extra gentle."
"Britt, all babies are pretty small." Santana said with a smile.
"I meant, she's smaller than most." Brittany said, "But... god, I don't think I'll ever get over how gorgeous our daughter is. As soon as we can have sex again, we're making another 'cause boy do we make beautiful kids."
"Hold your horses there, cowboy, I just pushed a baby out of my vagina. I don't want any more babies coming out of there for a while." Santana said as she looked at Brittany, her smile turning soft, "But I definitely want more. But next time won't be an accident."
"Agreed."
Soft footsteps were heard as Brittany rounded the corner into the waiting room. As she turned the corner, her eyes widened at the amount of people in the waiting room. Her parents, Santana's parents, Quinn, Rachel, Puck, Artie, Mike, Tina, Mercedes, Kurt, Blaine, Ethan and a sleeping Daniel.
"Hi," she said softly, causing their heads to turn, "She's here. 30 minutes old, 7 pounds and 5 ounces. Her name is Ella Olivia Pierce. Everything's good and she's healthy."
"Ai, my granddaughter, she is here!" Yolanda said as Antonio smiled.
"Oh, Bug! That's so great." Jennifer said.
"Congratulations, Bug."
"Is she everything you hoped she'd be?" Quinn asked.
"Everything and so much more." Brittany said, "She has dark hair like San's and she has these big, beautiful, sparkling blue eyes. I... she's so beautiful."
"Congratulations, Britt." Artie said. Mike, Tina, Mercedes, Kurt, Blaine and Rachel said their excited congratulations. Puck smiled as a few of them said they had to leave, leaving only Ethan, Daniel, Jennifer and Skip, Antonio and Yolanda, Rachel, Quinn and Puck.
"Do you guys wanna come see her?" Brittany asked, "She's awake. Santana's been in there staring at her for a while now."
"Yeah! I can't pass up an opportunity to see a baby!" Rachel said with an excited hand clap. Quinn smiled and rubbed her back. Jennifer and Skip were already halfway to the room while Yolanda and Antonio followed. Quinn and Rachel made their way to the room, following Yolanda and Antonio while Brittany stayed behind with Puck.
"You wanna come see your goddaughter?"
A huge smile spread across Puck's face and he nodded.
"Sure, I got time."
A/N: I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I shall post the next one when I can. There are only about five more chapters left but not to worry, I am writing a sequel so, if you want a sequel let me know. :)
