-The next day-

The morning came and the boy wakes up, seeing that the butler is no longer beside him. He sits up and rubs his eyes with both of his arms. Suddenly there's a knock in the door and the butler comes in with a tea tray.

"Good morning, did you slept well last night?" asks Sebastian as he stops next to the bed and opens the curtain. Ciel only stares at him as he moves to the side of the bed.

"What's wrong Ciel?" asks Sebastian as he looks at Ciel. Somehow, Ciel looks confused and surprised. He only shakes his head and looks at Sebastian again.

After the morning routine, Ciel walks off to the study. Sebastian only follows him to the study, thinking that probably he left something there.

"It seems that you have taken care of this study while I'm not using it." says Ciel as he sits down on the table. Sebastian feels that slowly the old Ciel is coming.

"I can work now." says Ciel as he looks at Sebastian. "And please call me Young Master from now on, like how you used to." Ciel continues as he smirks. Sebastian feels pained somehow; needing to call him young master all over again, it feels like the Ciel he cares about has disappears from his sight.

"Yes…young master." says Sebastian slowly with no expression.

"Good then, bring me my paperwork. I'm sure they are already piled up by now." Says Ciel as he looks away. Sebastian bows and brings Ciel's paperwork and put it on the table.

"Do you need something else …young master?" asks Sebastian as he looks at Ciel who is observing the paperwork.

"No, you can leave." answers Ciel. Sebastian bows and leaves the room. Still feeling a bit uneasy, Sebastian only shakes his head as he walks away to meet the other servants.

"Please remember soon Ciel." says Sebastian as he continues to walk and grips his own hand.

After eating lunch, Ciel decided to take a bit break. He is still not really used to work again, he walks to the garden. He only walks around the garden and comes back again to the study.

"What were you doing in the garden young master?" asks Sebastian who sees Ciel and stops him.

"Nothing, just taking a little break from work." Answers Ciel coldly.

"Didn't you see Finny?" asks Sebastian again.

"No, I didn't." answers Ciel shortly as he enters the study. Sebastian only sighs seeing how Ciel has turn cold again.

Slowly, the sky turns dark, the sun has already set, and the rain came.

Meanwhile, Ciel has already finished his paperwork and goes to the library. He stares quietly through the window, sighing as he does so.

"What's wrong young master?" asks Sebastian suddenly entering the library. Ciel only turns and looks at Sebastian before staring back through the window.

"I feel weird, it feels like I forgot something important to my life…" says Ciel with a kind of sad voice. Sebastian wants to reach out and pats him in his head, but, his situation now doesn't allow him to do that.

"I'm sure you will remember it, you will remember all." says Sebastian with a sad smile. Ciel only nods without looking at Sebastian.

"I wish I could remember all, I know there are some parts of my memories that haven't return to me." says Ciel as he leans on the window, his own reflection blurry because of the rain. Sebastian feels pained to see him like that, he wanted to do something, but reality can't help him at all. But without realizing, he already stands near Ciel, his own hand patting the boy's head. Ciel only turns his head, looking at Sebastian with surprised look.

"S-Sebastian….?" asks Ciel slowly. Sebastian couldn't answer him in anyway. Ciel only looks at Sebastian before gripping his own hand.

"I-I…don't know…" says Ciel as tears rolls down from his blue orb to his cheek. Ciel suddenly hugs Sebastian and sobs. Sebastian's really surprised by the sudden hug and continues patting Ciel's head.

"Why it feels so….relaxing…to do this..?" asks Ciel as he keeps sobbing.

"It's okay, you've gone through a lot." says Sebastian to calm the boy down. He could never understand human's emotion, but now, it's different, he want to do everything he can for his beloved master.

"What did I forgot…? Why it makes me feels so sad?" asks Ciel to himself. Sebastian already knew the answer but he kept it silent, wanting the boy to remember it himself.

"It's okay …young master, you will remember it." says Sebastian as he slowly caress the boy's cheek. Ciel only keeps sobbing and calms himself down. Sebastian smiles as he watches the boy.

Not long, Ciel has already calmed down and release the hug.

"Are you feeling better now young master?" asks Sebastian. Ciel only nods and walks away from him to the door. Sebastian follows him and opens the door.

"It's already night young master, you should sleep now." says Sebastian as he slightly bow. Ciel only nods and walks to the bedroom followed by Sebastian.

The night goes silently as the boy can only bring his own confused mind into his sleep. Being watch over by the demon butler, who is also pained, wanting his old master to come back.
