ch 25
_Jade's POV_
'I can't believe it! Leo is finally letting me go on patrol! I'm so exited!' I run into my room and grab my whisperer cape and costume. I pull my hair back into a braid to try to keep it out of the way, which is hard to do considering it reaches all the way to my ankles. I finish getting ready and run out of my room.
~time skip~
we jump across the rooftops looking out for any foot or kraang. I saw some purple dragons trying to steal from a girl with brown hair and blue eyes. I tap Leo's shoulder and gesture towards the girl. he nods and motions for the others to follow. we jump down, but before we can do anything the girl punches one of the purple dragons in the face, breaking his nose. she then pulled a small metal rod off her belt and extends it into a staff. in less than a minute the purple dragons were running away at full speed.
"I guess you didn't need our help after all" Mikey said.
"guess not" she said, looking at us. she smiled then started to walk off.
"wait!" I said.
she stopped and turned around. "what is it?"
"where did you learn to fight like that?"
"from my dad and uncles" she answered. I could sense confusion in her voice. then she seemed to realize something. "oh, my name's Ally." she said, slightly hesitating.
"nice to meet you Ally, my name is Jade" I said.
"nice to meet you, but I'd better get going, I have to get home" she then jumped onto the fire escape and up to the roof. we climbed up after her but she was already gone.
"wow she is fast" I said. then I heard something. "foot bots!" we fought the foot bots and took them down pretty quick, but a girl showed up out of nowhere. I swear I've seen her somewhere before. she knocked me down and my hood fell back. she hesitated for a moment which allowed Donnie to take her down. she used a smoke bomb and disappeared.
"are you okay?" Mikey helped me to my feet.
"yea, just a little surprised. who was that?"
"Karai"
"I knew she looked familiar! and when my hood fell back she hesitated, so maybe she recognized me. not sure if that's a good sign or a bad one though."
"knowing Karai, probably bad"
I know the scene with Ally was kind of random, but it does have a reason. also, please review, i love to hear from you guys. and if you have any suggestions for future chapters or filler chapters please tell me, I will try to find a way to fit it into the story. :)
