So I feel bad about not posting so here are two unfinished drabbles that I don't know how to end….I'll will legit update all my storied SOON.

Stef Foster squinted at the bathroom light that had suddenly invaded her bedroom. Before she had time to process what all was happening she heard the semi familiar sounds of Lena throwing up. The sound had startled the Stef the first time she heard it, all those years ago. It was much louder and more aggressive than any noise Lena made voluntarily. By the time Stef had shuffled over to the bathroom Lena was laying against the bathtub, holding her stomach and moaning. Stef grabbed a scrunchie from the cupboard and sat down next to her wife. 9 years with a person prepares you for plenty of situations, like sickness. Lena automatically laid her head in her wife's lap as the blonde tied up her mass of curls so they wouldn't need to be held back, then turned to look up at the tired blonde face smiling weakly when she began to rub her tummy. Lena almost thought the episode was over , but that oh so familiar feeling started in her gut and sent her leaching toward the porcelain. Being around kids all day meant Lena had experienced plenty of sickness but stomach viruses were her least favorite.

"You done" Stef asked while rubbing circles over her wife's back

"...Yeah I think so...I don't think I can get up" Lena grumbled
curling up into a ball

With a sign Stef picked her wife and carried her back to their bed.

"Thank you " Lena mumbled against her pillow.

Stef just smiled and climbed back into her bed, her side was no longer warm, but it was better than their tile floor. And just when Stef was on the edge of unconsciousness, the sound of Lena quite voice pierced the air.

"Babe?"

" Yes?"

" Can I have some water "

"Sure my love" Stef let out a deep breath and climbed out of bed, pulling a mug off her bed side table.

" Stef?" A voice crocked 20 minutes later

" Yes Love? "

"Could I have another blanket "

Not even bothering with a response, Stef grabbed another comforter from their attached laundry room and draped it over her wife. The cop heard her name called several other times through the long night but when she finally woke up on her own next morning, she couldn't help but smile at the woman clutching a box of tissue and breathing through her mouth next to her. Taking care of Lena was the easy part, getting all the kids to school today without her help would be the hard part.

" I just don't see what's wrong with the curtains we have Lena ". Stef exasperated while leaning against their shopping cart. She had tried to avoid tagging along on the house decorating trip all together but Lena wouldn't hear it. Stef loved the house they had bought together but after last week day long search for "the perfect coach " Stef had been disillusioned with house shopping. Brandon's play date invitation had been the final nail in her coffin and now she was stuck in Target looking at drapes.

" How about these?" Lena asked holding up a package of cream colored curtains with green leaves "

" I love em " Stef stretched a smile and tried to grab the package to throw in the cart so they could move on. Lena pulled it just out of her reach.

" You said that about the last ones! " Lena replied, examining the info on the back of them package with a raised eyebrow.

" Can't I like more than one pattern? " Stef clenched the cart tighter. And ran over the list of things they needed to get. Curtains, 2 lamps, picture frames, bathroom rugs, a coat rack , the list, Lena's list, went on and on and they'd been in the curtain aisle for ten minutes. " How about we split up love? We can knock this out faster that way"

" It's not about fast Stef , Lena corrected while picking up a different pattern , this is our home, we have to do this right."

Stef rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breathe just loud enough for Lena to know she was upset. She loved doing everything with Lena , except shopping. She made list whenever she went to the store , systematically going down the aisle and picking up each item with the biggest bang for the buck. If it tasted good and was cheap, buy it. Looked nice on her and was on sale, buy it. Lena on the other hand, was a very whimsical shopper, like time didn't pass inside the mall. Stef first learned of Lena's love of shopping a couple years ago when she spent an hour watching Lena try on clothes at TJMax. She and a man sitting next to her outside the dressing room with the same fate had had a good laugh about it. It was endearing then but today Stef's feet hurt and they had to pick Brandon up in a hour and half and she would be damned if she was forced to come back here again tomorrow.

" You know what? I've been thinking about the original ones you showed me and they've grown on me, let's get those. "

" Really? You sure?" Lena frowned in skepticism.

"Yep" Stef chirped and grabbed the curtains and threw them in the cart and turning the corner before Lena could protest.

OK I will do some real writing soon PROMISE
