Yadzia found herself wide eyed when Superman and Wonder Woman walked back down the ramp. The two of them were sculpted to perfection. Muscles stacked on top of muscles, chiseled features, and curves that would make anyone take a second or tenth look. They looked to be a spectacular couple, and would make gorgeous children someday if they hadn't already. She found Superman to be mesmerizing and Wonder Woman to fill her with a hint of jealousy, but before she let her mind drift she got to business.
"Wonder Woman and Superman, welcome to Ryizah, I am Chairwoman Yadzia and I will be your guide throughout your visit. My husband Wulf will be joining us shortly, right now he is seeing that your accommodations are in order."
"We thank you for having us." Diana bowed her head slightly.
Yadzia laughed, "You don't have to be so proper. You are encouraged to be yourself here, none will judge, and none will be offended. Please follow me inside, the sun here is quite strong, I'm afraid I'm beginning to bake a bit. It's much more tolerable on the lower levels."
"Yes of course." Diana followed, and then Clark.
Stepping from under the shade of the Javelin, Clark did notice the sun. It was larger and had much more powerful rays than earth did. His body drank in the radiation, it felt great, but it did have one unintended side effect. He suspected Diana was also partially to blame as well, but his blood started flowing and before long he was standing at full attention, there was nothing he could do.
Once they were inside the building Clark had strategically placed himself behind Diana using her as a shield to Yadzia's eyes, he'd prefer not to offend her. Diana however would get over it. He hoped.
"If you do go outside I would suggest you apply a sun cream. It will protect your skin from the harmful rays, I did not have time to do so today, you arrived sooner than expected and my Wulf kept me busy this morning." She smiled at the intimate memories.
"That won't be a problem for us." Diana said.
"Oh, humans are not harmed by the sun?"
"They are, but I'm only mostly human, and he's not… Where did you go?" Diana had to turn all the way around in the other direction to find Kal, she didn't notice him slip behind her.
"He's not what?" Yadzia asked.
"I'm not human at all, in fact the sun is good for me." A little too good right now.
"I see." Yadzia turned around to see Superman standing behind Wonder Woman, he looked embarrassed while she looked angry.
"Kal, control yourself!" Diana ordered through gritted teeth.
"Doesn't work like that."
"If you aren't human, what are you if I may ask?" Yadzia was confused as to why Superman looked so embarrassed.
"Kryptonian."
"Kryptonian? I do not believe we've ever had a Kryptonian visitor before."
"Not surprising, I'm the only one still alive to my knowledge." He didn't count the crazies in the Phantom Zone.
Yadzia was becoming frustrated in speaking with Superman, she had planned to ask why he was the only Kryptonian alive but every time she stepped around Wonder Woman to look at him he would take another step to block her view. "Superman is there a problem?"
"No problem, just uh. One of those things that happens when pretty ladies are around. Can I get a towel or something?"
"Oh, you're aroused. There's no need to be embarrassed, that is accepted here, it's welcome even, you have nothing to be ashamed of at all. Follow me, I will take you on a tour of our facility, perhaps then you'll understand." She didn't say anything, but Yadzia could see that Wonder Woman was aroused too.
Clark and Diana followed as Yadzia showed them the facility. Nearly half of everything they saw was grown instead of built, instead of carpet the floors were made of a short soft grass. The brick walls had thick vines growing up to the ceiling, and the roof was essentially a big skylight. Which meant the sun was beating down on Clark, and therefore not helping his situation in the least. Yadzia led them to a large courtyard where there were restaurants, bars, eating tables and a dance floor setup. There were dozens of couples taking part in the activities there. Including the couple on the dancefloor closest to them, who were involved in a heavy kissing session with their hands all over each other.
"Ryizah is a haven for lovers, to free themselves from restraint and inhibition. Here you're free to do what feels good, without judgement. Here it doesn't matter who you are or what you do. There are those here who are extremely wealthy, and those who may live in poverty. On Ryizah we are all the same. Which is why we don't wear clothes. By bringing only what we were born with, everyone is equal." Yadzia explained.
"I understand somewhat, I was raised in nation of only women, modesty wasn't an issue. Many there choose to forego clothing simply because it is hot outside."
"No men?" Yadzia questioned.
"None."
"Oh." Yadzia raised an eyebrow. That sounds miserable. "What about you Superman?"
"Me? Where I was raised, it's a private thing, reserved for when you're alone or in the company of a uh…" Mid sentence Clark's eyes briefly passed over Diana, and he lost his ability to speak clearly.
"In the company of a lover, is what he's trying to say. Please excuse him, he's unaccustomed to this. It won't affect his ability to do his duty, but perhaps we should go somewhere more private." Diana spoke for him.
"Yes of course." Yadzia giggled. "The two of you are so cute."
Next Yadzia showed them the conference room where they would be discussing their dispute tomorrow morning, she elected not to give them more of the scenic route since they were so uncomfortable with everything. She really hoped they would remain neutral in this matter, logic was on her side of the argument and she hoped they could help her opposition see that.
Instead of showing them more she led them to their rooms, she hoped they were finished. Wulf hadn't contacted her yet, she she was going on good faith they were prepared. Going back outside, they crossed a large field towards yet another building, that looked to be constructed just like the other one.
The field however was by no means empty, there were people, mostly couples that could be seen as far as the eye could see. Nearly all were engaging in some sort of sexual activity, some were locked in lover's embraces others were taking part in acts that were downright freaky. Diana struggled to keep her composure, whenever sex was on her mind Kal was never far away from her imagination. Right now he was literally within arms reach.
Yadzia continued to explain what went on here. "In the food and drink areas, sexual contact is limited to kissing or touching. But out here, our guests are free to do as they wish. Some will hide, others want us to see. It's all fine here, as long as no one is hurt."
Yadzia walked fairly quickly to avoid too much sun exposure for herself, Diana had no trouble keeping up. However she did have trouble keeping her eyes off Kal, except for all the other people around this was a pretty heavy fantasy she'd had with him. The idea of she and Kal in an open field, with him basking in the sunlight, before approaching her, this was perfect.
A little too perfect, Diana shook her head and looked away from Kal and back to Yadzia. Who had actually begun to run ahead a bit, holding her hand up to protect her eyes from the sun. Diana kept walking at her normal pace, with her eyes involuntarily moving back to Kal. Who was trying to focus on the sky, but out of the corner of her eye noticed he was looking back at her too.
Once they reached the building, Yadzia ran up and jumped into the arms of a tall dark skinned man and kissed him.
"Hmm." Yadzia tried not to lose herself under her husband's touch. "Is everything prepared?"
"Yes my love, everything is as you specified." He then turned to the guests. "You must be Superman and Wonder Woman, we thank you so much for coming. I am Wulf, Yadzia's husband. Hopefully a neutral voice can help us come to a mutually beneficial decision in tomorrow's discussions."
"We'll do our best." Clark said, no longer standing behind Diana, in fact he blocked her somewhat. Despite the fact that Wulf hadn't looked at Diana any type of way since arriving.
The four walked and talked briefly while they walked towards Clark and Diana's accommodations.
Yadzia decided to send Wulf away for now. "Babe, why don't you go find a nice shady spot and when I'm finished, I'll help you warm it up. And bring some sun cream, I'll need you to rub me down."
"Sounds perfect." Wulf quickly headed towards a door to the outside but not before giving Yadzia a nice slap across the butt. She tried to hit him too, but missed.
"You'll pay for that!" She called.
"I hope so!"
"So that was Wulf, he helps me run this place." She turned to Diana. "Although I admit it's difficult to concentrate when he's near me. I'd much rather be alone with him than anything. But I suppose I don't have to tell you two that, here are your rooms."
Yadzia opened the door to a quaint little suite. It had the same grass floor, vine walls and glass ceiling that the rest of the building had, and a large window with a beautiful view of the horizon. There wasn't much else inside however, there was a table, two chairs and a small bed just barely big enough for two. Diana noticed Kal walked right in and found another room which she assumed was the bathroom.
"There's nothing too fancy here, an eating area and a bed. In the next room has a shower and a tub for two our guests don't need much more than this. It is to your liking yes?" Yadzia asked Diana.
"This will be just fine." Diana figure given Kal's disappearance he was going to take this room as his. "So where will I stay?"
"This… this is it." Yadzia was confused.
"Um, he and I don't share a bed."
"You don't? Why?"
"Because we just don't."
"Do you have a taste towards women? Because that is accepted too…"
"No! Just… we… we prefer separate beds."
"Oh, I'm sorry but this is all we have. With the conferences being held tomorrow we are more full than usual, this is the only space we have left. I had no idea, I assumed the two of you were lovers." Yadzia backtracked. "I still don't understand why not, he's quite fond of you. In fact I cut our tour short so that you could help him with his… I suppose Wulf and I could move out for a few nights, we could sleep under the stars."
"No. Don't do that, I can't inconvenience you like that. If it's all you have we'll make do." Diana couldn't let her go that far, despite her discomfort with the whole thing.
"Are you sure?"
"I'm positive, go be with your husband. We'll make it through the night."
"Are there any towels?" Clark shouted from the other room.
"Um, they're only dispensed after taking a shower." Yadzia answered. "And they will dissolve once you have dried yourself."
"Fantastic." He said sarcastically.
"Oh before I go. I will send someone to with a full briefing of tomorrows meetings before sunrise.
"Thank you." Diana said, seeing her off.
Yadzia closed the door and hurried to find Wulf. During her trek she tried to figure out how Superman and Wonder Woman could not be sleeping together. They both thought they were hiding it, but they couldn't keep their eyes off each other the entire tour. She had learned to see desire in peoples eyes over the years, and those two had some serious heat for each other. She had thought their tension had come from the fact that they were normally very private in their affections, but it turned out it was all unresolved sexual tension. She didn't get that at all, they wanted each other with everything they had. Why were they fighting it?
She truly hoped they would come together while they stayed here. They surely needed it.
"I can't believe this!" Diana groaned once Yadzia was gone. "He did it again!"
"Who did what?" Clark peeked his head from behind the door, only his head though.
"Bruce, he set us up. First it was the decontamination chamber and now he drops us on planet Erotic City."
"The decontamination chamber?" He remembered that like it was yesterday, not exactly hard given their current state of dress. "That was a setup?"
"Yes. We didn't need to be there all night. Bruce and the others turned on the machine and left us there." Diana waited for Kal to respond, partly hoping this could start the dialogue they needed to try to repair what was left between them. But nothing.
"Work damn you!" He shouted from the other room.
"What is wrong with you?" Diana walked into the bathroom where he was. Clearly he wasn't in the mood to hash things out right now so she dropped it.
"The damn shower won't work."
She padded over and tried to look for herself but the second she stepped her feet onto the walk in shower tile it turned on, full blast with ice cold water. She shrieked and jumped back, causing the water to stop again.
"Does this only work with two people?" Clark wondered aloud. "Try it again."
Diana stepped in and the water came back, resolving herself to it she stayed but turned the water up. Somewhere between Diana turning the water up and Clark finding the soap, they locked eyes.
Frustration, unresolved sexual tension, and extreme stubbornness all reared their heads during that staredown. Both had all sorts of words and feelings right on the edge of expression but both struggled to keep them bottled in. In the end it became a contest to see which one looked down first. Each of them were soaking wet, completely naked and out of control hot for each other. It would have been a perfect time for them to lose it and figure out the rest later. But that didn't happen, before Diana could truly claim victory as Clark's eyes dropped to view the water wash down her body he turned away.
After their shower a courier brought the full briefing for tomorrows discussions. They went over everything they needed for the meeting in depth then retired for the evening. At least they tried, sleeping would not come easy tonight. Both had insisted upon the other taking the bed, in the end their unspoken anger with each other ended in them sharing it.
When Diana thought about it, this was stupid what they were doing. She still wanted him, so why couldn't she say anything? There had to be a way for them to break down this wall between them. She still felt strongly for him him even right now, she had stood her ground over the sleeping arrangements because in some way she wanted to share the bed with him. There was a fleeting hope that he would turn around and say something, and she would mount him and rock his world. She knew that wouldn't happen though, he was still angry with her. This was no way to go on with someone.
Clark didn't think he was thinking straight, he wasn't sure if he was getting enough blood to his brain. He should by now have explained to Diana how he felt about her, and why her lie hurt so much. He was unhappy with the way things had been going the last few weeks, and even more unhappy at their current situation. Something had to change and he realized that Diana was being as stubborn as he was, so he needed to be the one to start things.
Telling Diana he cared for her should be easy, but he couldn't help but wonder if she was the same woman still. She never would have lied to him before, this was a different person in his eyes. Could he even love her now?
