Author's Note: Well it's been a while actually, sorry for that! I'm trying hard to get my story straight and believe me its taking me a lot longer than I expected. I would like to know if Frozen will be on OUAT again, maybe this time in Arendelle, but I have no clue. And sure I am really excited for Frozen Fever! just a matter of a couple more weeks! Well I might have to change the rating to a little bit higher for paranoic reasons, is just I don't quite understand when it drops the k+ and becomes T, but whatevs. Enjoy!

"Anna! Wait please, listen!" ran Kristoff behind his wife downhill until he finally caught her hand and turned her around to find a pair of watery eyes looking his way.

Anna was sobbing trying o speak between hiccups "She-she, after all we been thru-, I thought, maybe we would fix this together and she just-!"

"She just saved our lives!" he cut in desperately "Anna, it was her life in exchange of the entire town"

"What?"

"Your mother blackmailed her, she didn't meant a word, it totally crushed her as well" he admitted "The only way for you to leave that place safely was if she made you leave" he said in a soothing tone "She still loves you and she needs us to find a way to reverse this now"

"Did she really?"

"Yes" he said reassuring "Now, we have to think fast, her heart will freeze shortly so we have to find another way"

"Then let's go with the people that helped her before. If they did then, they will now"

"No one in the town must know the Queen was after them, Elsa said something about them not knowing for their own safety"

"Well she sure hides enough secrets, but I don't think this should be kept" she grabbed his hand "perhaps if they knew they could melt her heart!" she said realizing it "Mother said the act of true love must come from the people she was trying to protect!"

"Then let's go find them" he looked behind his shoulder "Sven, come quick, we have to get to town fast!"

"Come on dear, it won't be long before you freeze completely" said the Queen walking into the woods "Hans, be a darling and help her up, let us go to a higher place" she commanded gazing around making sure no one would follow, more specifically, the Dark One.

Hans was barely recovered from the punch, it took him a second before graving her arm to help her up, but Elsa just shoved it aside "Don't" she warned "I'll do it myself, stay away" she cleared her teary eyes and stood up with the strength she had left. She stabilized herself leaning against a tree calming herself, breathing unevenly as the sobs died down.

She walked a few steps before the pain ran thru her body making her bend over clutching her hands against her chest.

Hans exhaled tiresome getting next to Elsa carrying her in arms "Put me down!" she demanded but he just ignored her complaints walking deeper in the woods "I command you to-!"

"Quit giving orders! You are not the ruler, so that won't work" he said annoyed "believe me, I much rather leave you in the middle of the forest caught up in your own storm, but apparently the Queen wouldn't let me leave your side. So if I want to get to the hideout on time, I will have to deal with you" he finished without leaving a chance for arguing. His facial expression was hard as a rock and he kept it that way the whole walk, just feeling how Elsa jolted every time the frost spread wider in her system.

When he finally arrived to the meet point he laid her down against a tree with enough gentleness for her not to hit the ground, then he took several steps backwards and rested his back on a tree gazing at the horizon with pretended serenity.

The sun was on top of them announcing it was already the afternoon and in a matter of hours, it would be the sunset, something Hans was eager to see, it would be the time when the Snow Queen would reveal her master plan.

Insupportable minutes passed, but Elsa's heart didn't give in, prolonging her suffering. The coldness was unbearable and her surroundings didn't helped either. She closed her eyes for a couple of seconds trying to focus in something else that didn't involve her heart slowly turning to ice.

Suddenly, she felt a fabric being pulled up to her chin. She opened her eyes and found Hans laying his cape over her.

"Your teeth's chatting is driving me mad" he said simply recovering the distance between both of them.

"Thank you" she murmured hugging herself tighter looking downhill to the village. Her sacrifice had to be worth it. She cuddled into herself looking again to the traitor that was sent to the Southern Isles. She hardly knew the man; she only knew what Anna had told her and the details given due to the event of her freezing everything.

She surrender into her thought and finally asked "Did you ever loved Anna?"

He shot a glare her way chuckling sarcastically "That clumsy little princess? With the goofy smile and high pitch voice?"

Elsa smiled subtle "So she charmed you, didn't she?"

"You know how hard was to be in sync with her? She couldn't say end 'my phrases', she had to say 'sandwiches', how-! Annoying is that?"

Elsa laughed softly seeing his facial expression, she was sure he was almost about to smile as well. "She did talked to the portraits in the wall"

"I know, crazy girl told me about it when she drove me to the rooftop, we almost fell from there. I can't imagine how she survived her own childhood, riding in that bike down the stairs"

"She has always been that hyperactive" she smiled to herself

"Yes no kidding, 5 hours and she was already leading me to the top of the clock tower to dance along with the figurines that marked the hour. She is one to watch out for"

"I know, I lived with her for longer"

Suddenly the light mood died "No, you shut her out" he said coolly and mad.

Elsa saw his reaction "I didn't intend to hurt her"

"Yeah, you say that now, because you are trying to be the hero, but guess what? You are not. Heroes don't hurt people that way; they don't push you to your limits"

Suddenly the idea crossed her thoughts "You are the thirteenth on the line, am I right?"

"Pufft" he scoffed "you older siblings really care about hierarchy don't you?"

"Is our responsibility to keep the younger safe"

"Great going, you almost killed your sister…twice for what your mother have told me"

"Same reason I locked myself in my room"

Hans stood quiet a second driving his eyes somewhere else.

"Why didn't you kill me when you first had the chance?"

He looked over at her "disappointed?"

"You could had left the man shoot the arrow and get away with it"

"I needed to frame you for your sister's death"

"Yet you didn't killed her either, you left her to die"

"There was no need for me to get my hands dirty"

"But it was my fault" she pointed out "you didn't need to frame me, I was responsible"

Hans shrunk his shoulders carelessly.

"Killing isn't in you, is it?"

"May I remind you Queen Elsa, I was going to cut thru you with my sword?"

"It was you last resort, you gathered up all your guts, you got me vulnerable because you couldn't face me while you murdered me"

He got closer whispering in a threatening voice "I was going to be the hero that saved Arendelle from the monster who froze it. It was going to be me, the one that they would all hail at, I was not about to be shadowed by the little princess or the Duke's guards, not even by the Queen herself or by anyone else for the rest of my life"

"Yes, you were going to be the hero" she answered with just as much presence "Was that what you were trying to be? The hero?"

Hans frowned unable to pronounce anything to counter, perhaps he had been so measured-up-to with all his brothers he just couldn't take it anymore and as simply as that, he pushed his limits to be noticed.

"You know what the saddest part is?" said Elsa when he stood silent "That if you had actually meant all the pretended good actions you did… then you would have been the hero. No marriage involve, just by putting my Kingdome needs first when Anna left to look for me. That would had been enough for you to be the hero"

"Who said I wanted to be a good guy? I just wanted the title of the hero to earn their respect so that when I took over Arendelle no riots would be made"

"There were easier ways that was not what you were aiming for, no. You cared. You were proving you were just as fit as your brothers to take care of the people"

"Enough of this!" he barked "I know you are trying to see any good in me, so that I can sympathize and help you, but there is none, so quit it"

"If I have learned something in this land is that everybody, and I mean everybody, has something good in the inside, even if they try to deny it"

"Oh, I see you are catching up" interrupted the Queen. "Good" she went to her daughter "It appears you are almost thru with your transformation" she smiled genuinely pleased "You won't be needing this" she ripped the cape and threw it aside.

Elsa stood silence hugging herself firmly "Oh, don't give me that defeated look, you came willingly"

"I had no choice, you took Anna, I couldn't let you take away her child, even if that means I won't see her again"

"Oh my dear, don't you worry, we will meet her in the future" she smiled "when you are fully transformed and we are done with this, we will take her with us, she won't be of any use concerning our magic, but once she gives birth to the child, we won't need her anymore, she will be disposable"

"You can't harm her!" Elsa yelled "it was me in exchange of her, permanently; you can't hurt her or her child"

"Oh, dear Elsa, I am the Queen and I am her mother, I will do what I think is best"

"You wouldn't…"

"I gave birth to her and I can give her death too"

Elsa felt sick and about to pass out; even Hans flinched at her demands.

"Ow, you might be used to make deals with people that will keep their part of the agreement, but not today" she walked past her "Today you will learn to lose, and to let that rage transform you" she gazed to the town "Then, we go after Arendelle and all the other lands in that realm. And we'll show them the same mercy they had with us" she smiled wickedly "they will all pay, all but one, someone that paid a long time ago. Oh, your father made a terrible mistake, he send himself to his grave and failed to accomplish his goal. Such a waste"

"His death was no waste" Elsa cried "You know how many nights I mourned your dead? It was the hardest thing for me to lose the only people I could make contact with, but it made me stronger at the end. Father ended up teaching me far more after his passing. And you…all the night I craved for your visits thinking you dead…wishing I could hug you and hear you sing a lullaby to Anna….and now…now I wish you dead!" she yelled in tears.

The Queen tried to keep her triumphant smile up and proud, but she was taken aback. So she just walked to her and kneeled "Very impressing, you are wishing me dead already and you haven't even transformed yet"

She swallowed hard "Just tell me why" she pleaded "What wrong did we do to you, for you to hate so much your own blood? To be so cross with father when he was the one that loved you the most, the one that could melt your heart, did you ever loved him? Or was it only another piece in the game?"

"He never loved me" she said more to herself that to her daughter.

"Is that what you repeat yourself at night so that his dead doesn't trouble you? So that you can live with the guilt of his dead?"

"He brought that upon himself! He was a selfish man"

"You confuse what looks like selfish with what is the selfless, he was a great man, and I am proud that he was my father as I once was proud of calling you mother"

"Enough!" she shouted causing the snow around them to turn into ice spikes and misshaped crusts of ice dangerously close to both of them. Once the Queen noticed she melted them away standing up. But Elsa realized that she could lose control as well, that sometimes the ice used her and not the other way around. "We will do as I command and you shall appreciate what I am giving you, no one will ever stand against us again, no more fear, no more senseless attacks!" she waved her hand to the snow creating a throne "we are going to be free, by all means"
