"Dani! Wake up!" Someone shakes me hard and it is strong. I stood up and breathed hard. I went to my neck and the inhabitor collar is gone.
"What are you doing?" Robin asks. He doesn't look like okay. He doesn't have his cape and his hair is wet.
"There is an inhabitor collar on my neck. The water controlled freak put it on me." I look around and saw Megan okay along with the others. The two freaks lay down there on the other side.
Robin helped me up, "Kaldur said that the water man put you in his water prison with electricity in it. And you hit your head."
"What? That didn't happened." The others were helping Kid and Superboy to get themselves out of that melted motorbike.
"Maybe you were hallucinating that time. The electricity got into your head somehow."
I rubbed my head and suddenly my arm hurt. I look at my left arm and it is burned. "What the—"
Robin quickly took out a small cloth from his belt and tied it in my arm. "Artemis! Dani's arm."
We went to the others and my arm really hurt. How did that happened?
Artemis is busy with a thing in her hands. Robin supported my left arm. "Will you quit playing with that thing already and cut us free?" Kid says, still trapped.
"It's not working genius. EMP shuts down all machines remember?"
"All machines present that time." Red arrives. Great. He's gonna turn on of those like he's sibs.
Robin dropped my arm and the pain doubled. Need Alcohol. I moaned and Kaldur turn around. He must have noticed. "Are you all right?"
I nod even though I wanna scream loud. "Can we just get this over with?" I say on demand.
"What has occurred?" Red asks.
Robin turned to where his rumoured siblings are. "Had a little visit from your family."
"You're extremely nasty family."
"So nasty, they tried to kill us!" I yelled.
"I was not aware I have relations." Red simply says and he went to them.
"Where have you been?" Connor asks.
"Monitor duty at the watchtower. When it becomes clear cave communications were down. I attempt to investigate. But your zeta tubes were also malfunctioning. I transported to providence and proceeded here." He says and putting a cord on the robots.
My head starts to hurt and I kneel to the ground. The machine in the hands of Artemis turned on. "The pulses worn off." Robin and Kid say in unison.
The pain is getting stronger and Red touches the robots and his eyes were glowing red. He stands up and begins to take our oxygen in our body.
And that's where all of us fainted.
"Sis! Wake up!" Someone gave me a big punch and it hurts in my right cheek. I stood up and grabbed the puncher and pinned him on the ground.
"Ow!" He yelped. It's Hal, wearing his green lantern uniform. The rest of the Justice League is here but not all of them.
"Remind me again not to punch you." Hal says rubbing his arms. I punch his arm. "What was that for?"
"You know how I hate punching when it is used as an alarm clock." I helped him stood up.
"What happened here?" Superman asked.
"What happened? What happened? The reds happened. Tornado and his sibs- Wait where are they?"Artemis asks.
"Gone." Rob says. "All three of them gone."

I yawned as I watched my Uncle John fixing the generator. He creates a green miniature crane that carries the big battery for the power. We didn't go back to our homes, we just stayed in the Cave for the night. And I haven't been getting enough sleep because of the hallucinations lately.
Then it turned on, "Danielle. Go with the team. You don't have to stay here." Uncle said as he continued.
I yawned again. "Okay. Next time, I'm gonna sleep early." Uncle nod and I hugged him. My arm still hurts from the fire. Also it is bandaged. I can't believe that I hallucinated about the syringe and invisible cage. Robin says the electricity got into my brain. But I got over it.
I went to the kitchen where the others are talking about the incident yesterday and full on costumes. Black Canary and Green Arrow are there as well.
"Thanks but no thanks." Kid says, ignoring the cereal bowl.
I arrived and stood next to Connor, "What we want answers about Red Tornado and his siblings." Robin demanded voice on full alert.
"Exactly." Kid agreed and Green took the bowl. "Leave the bowl."
"Hey Connor." I greeted. He just nod and did not paid attention to them. "Something wrong?"
He glanced at Kaldur and Batman, talking. Oh no, there talking about the mole. Maybe I should leave…
"You knew!" Connor quickly grabbed Kaldur. "That android and his maniac family nearly killed Megan!"
Wow, he is so caring and it makes him like an animal. Love is weird.
Megan hovered to them. "Connor! What are you doing?" Can't believe she acted calm. People with their attitudes.
"Kaldur knew we had a traitor among us and said nothing!" He said angrily to Kaldur and I can tell that kaldur is covered with saliva. Stop it, Dani! You should be in the same mode with them not joking!
"You knew!" Rob joined.
" But didn't tell us! Kid yelled.
"I sought to protect the team-" Kaldur says still in Connor's grasp.
"Protect us from what?! Knowledge might have saved our lives?" Artemis says angrily.
"I knew about it." I say softly. Everyone's eyes were on me. "I knew about the mole. I was there with kaldur in Taipei."
"You didn't tell me anything about that, Dani." Robin says, sadly but stern. He's mad too.
"You almost died!" Connor yelled to Megan and still holding Kaldur in his hands.
"Enough!" Batman says, giving them his famous bat glare. Connor let go of Kaldur and I glanced at Robin. He would not meet my eyes. I sighed.
Batman continued and we approached closer, "With Red Tornado missing, the team will now be overseen by rotating supervisors."
Captain Marvel approached, "Captain Marvel has volunteered to take the first shift."
"I'm really looking forward to hanging with you guys." He says. Woah, for someone who is big, he sounds so young.
Megan glanced at us like they find trouble in his face. Connor turned to Kaldur and they whispered something to each other. Batman approached them and they stopped. Looks like fighting in silent mode.
"I have another assignment for the team." Batman pointed on the hologram. It says, "Gotham mayor attacked by a gorilla and Gorilla exchanged banana's for bullets." Weird.
"Batman please! Tell me you're not sending us on this joke of a wild ape chase." Robin pleaded.
"I never joke on mission." Batman says seriously, leaving Robin speechless and his eyes were big. He lowered his head.
Batman continued, "I've checked the sources. I've studied the patterns. Mayor Hill's encounter is only the latest in a series of incidents."
He turned to Kaldur who is beside him. "Aqualad, you and your team will depart for India and check this out."
He nod and the others preparing for the mission. "Hmph! Your team." Kid says, leaving Kaldur sad.
I approached Batman who is busy typing on the holographic keyboard. "Batman can I just…."
"Danielle, you're worried about Robin." He says without looking at him.
I sighed. "I know. But can I leave? And they are mad at me and Kaldur. It can give an effect on the team."
"Backing out is not your option. Go with them. Help Kaldur. You can handle this problem, Danielle." Batman says turning around and pat my shoulders and he left.
We climbed aboard the Bioship and everyone is silent. Artemis won't even look at me and so as Kid. I hate this.
I kept on looking down and did not notice Rob and Kid. "You're coming with?" Rob asks.
I ignored them and stayed outside to wait for Kaldur. Kaldur arrived and still they hate him. He approached, "Danielle, aren't you coming inside?"
"I'll just teleport to India, Kaldur. Batman lets me see the picture of the place so I'll just see you there." He nods and the bioship left.
I closed my eyes and concentrate. Then I teleport.
Northern India
September 23, 2010, 21:36 EDT
I open my eyes and I am in the forest. "Yes! I made it!" I covered my mouth quickly and hide. Thankfully no one is here in the jungle. "Gotta find the others."
The whole jungle is big and full of trees. Gladly that poison ivy made an appearance at Coast City years before and I still have her power that I copied.
I waved the place before me and it made the path clear. I could hear movements in the forest. I called upon my dagger and place my domino mask perfectly and prepare to attack.
I launch and stopped. "Kaldur?" I stopped. "Where are the others?" Connor leaped and left us as I arrived.
He looked down and Captain Marvel is there, waiting. "Did I miss the part where you say what the plan was?"
"Let me guess, they left because of the mole thingy?" Kaldur nods. I put a hand on his shoulder, to assure that I am still on his side. "I'm still gonna listen to you, kaldur. What's the plan?"
Kaldur sighed, knowingly the others left him except me and Captain Marvel. We walked the forest and I could hear something growling.
"Are you guys still in your connection thingy in the head?" I asked as we kept on walking. The forest is dark and I have to blink a couple times just to adjust my vision. Wish I copied a superhero with night vision.
Captain Marvel stops and kneels down. A couple of footprints of the gorilla were scattered around. "Guess this is where Mayor Hill's monkey business went down. So at least we've confirmed the story right?" He says and Kaldur seemed distracted. "Aqualad?"
He looks at us, "My apologies Captain. I am plagued with doubts."
Captain raises his eyebrows, "What he meant to say is that the team's word got into his mind and still he is doubting."
"Right." The Captain nods.
Something is moving beside us. Footsteps were louder every minute. Rocks were shaking on the ground. Then my body feels numb.
I dropped to the ground, "Polaris!" Kaldur said as he went to my aid. Suddenly a big elephant appeared and Captain Marvel attacked it.
More and more big elephants appeared and I'm losing my energy. "Kal—dur." I said.
One of the elephants took me and put me in his back. "No!" Kaldur yelled as he attacks another one.
Why am so weak? I didn't have an inhabitor collar in my neck. My body is very weak. It's hard to move. The elephant kept on walking and I saw animals raging and fighting. Maybe it's the team.
A big gorilla appeared before the elephant and grabbed me. He presses something in my neck and the pain enters in my body.
I yelled hard as the pain engulfs. He carries me and we walked a clear path without trees. Street like lamps were scattered everywhere and I couldn't make out their names.
Where the heck are they taking me? Better question, What the heck are they gonna do to me?
We went inside the facility and they put me in a metal bed. They put a metal thingy in my head, arms, stomache and feet. I'm stuck.
"Hey gorilla monkey! Let me go!" The gorilla didn't bother and left me.
"Finally, we have found her." A voice said behind me and I can't see him or her. He has a weird accent that I can tell. "Tell them that we have the package."
I try to teleport but pain only answers. I screamed again as the pain comes in. "What the heck was that?"
"Polaris?" Captain Marvel's voice looms the room. "Where are you?"
As I try to speak, someone puts something in my arm. Another wave of pain enters. The lights went off. Now what?
Someone yelled more likely a monkey yelled. And the alarms went on.
"Go, Mallah, deal with these intruders." The weird voice says and the monkey who captured me left the place.
"I will handle her. The messenger will arrive to take her." He says.
"What are you talking about?" I yelled and try to break free but I can't move. "Let me go! Then I will kill you, weird accent guy."
"People call me the Brain." He appears before me and I could feel myself laugh. "Why are you laughing when I am trying to threaten you?"
"It's just that it's so hilarious to see a brain. Only a brain trying to kill me." Then he presses something and I feel sleepy.
"Dani! Wake up!" I open my eyes and Robin is trying to set me free. "Come on, Dani! Can you walk?"
I shook my head weakly and he took my left hand around his shoulder and his other hand to support my waist.
"Do not let her go!" The brain says and he activates the weapons in his body. The others appeared and a tiger attacked the gorilla.
The brain prepares to fire us. "Get down!" Artemis prepares her bow and Robin covers me. The lights were off a minute and he was gone.
"Wait that big weapon thing is a light switch?" Kid asks.
Robin checks on me, "You okay?"
I slightly nod. I feel a sharp pain in my waist. "Dani, you're hurt. Guys, let's take her to the bioship and get her back. She's wounded." Robin says and carries me via bridal style. Woah, he's strong.
We walked to the bioship and it's not dark anymore. It's dawn. "Sorry Robin. About not telling about the mole thing and the mission with kaldur too."
He smiles, "Nah, it's okay. As long as you're okay. I don't know what to do when you were captured." I give him a look. "I mean what to explain to your uncle I mean. He would definitely kill me."
"Ha, nice story Robin." We laughed and he took me inside the bioship. He places me on the emergency bed and Artemis tends to my wound in my waist.
It took them couple of minutes to reconcile and finally we made our way to the Cave.
We arrived on the Cave and Hal takes me to the infirmary. "So let me get this straight, the brain guy says that you're a package?"
"Yeah. Pretty weird huh?" He is still wearing his green lantern uniform and I was also wearing my costume and it's dirty. At least, Uncle made a spare in case of emergencies.
He nods. "Canary says that you have to stay here for a while. They put a poison in your body and the dextrose can wash it away. I'll tell John about this. I'll be back."
I sighed as he left and I try to put myself in sleep mode to help my brain process the stuff that happened earlier. What a night.
