I didn't even know there was a Takoda on Revenge, total coincidence because I don't watch it. Lol. I just liked the name and the fact that it meant friend. Lol.

So you go guys... I think this is the longest chapter yet.

In My Life

Spring time...

Destiny and Char were at the Buchanan mansion. Rex, GiGi and Shane were in town and GiGi was babysitting Sierra Rose so Sierra and Kya were playing together. The two of them have become pretty close. Riley, Rachel's son was playing in his playpen.

Char was showing Rachel, Destiny and Nora the pictures she just had printed from Kya's fifth birthday party. There was a castle moon bounce, Disney princess characters and a pony. They had a good time, even the adults.

"Mom, you're going to spoil us." Destiny said.

"I've got years of birthdays to make up for. Besides, I've been thinking about what I would do for your birthdays for years, now I finally get to do them. You're both good girls, you both deserve all this." Char said.

Then they heard Matthew on the phone having an unpleasant conversation in the next room.

"What do you want me to do Becca... No it's not. You're lying... Yeah ok." Matthew hung up then walked in the room carrying Drew. They all stared at him.

"What was that about?" Rachel asked.

"Nothing." Matthew replied.

"Were you and Becca arguing about the baby again?" Destiny asked. Matthew's eyes widened. He never wanted her to mention that.

"Baby? What baby?" Nora asked.

"You never told your family?" Destiny asked.

"Told us what?" Nora asked. Matthew didn't say anything, he just let Drew down to play. "What Matthew?"

"I may have gotten Becca pregnant." Matthew sighed.

"You did what? You're kidding me. You didn't learn your lesson the first time? I can't believe this." Nora said.

"I don't know if the kid is mine. She just gave birth to him. She said it was a boy."

"How could you let yourself get in this predicament again?" Nora began to pace the floor but calmed her voice. "What are you going to do?"

"I don't know."

"You need to figure it out." Rachel said calmly. "How did this happen? You don't even like Becca and last I checked she wasn't too crazy about you either."

"I got drunk. It was just one night."

"You were drinking?" Nora questioned.

"Is that really important? It was nine months ago."

"Have you been there for this girl, these past nine months?" Nora asked.

"No."

Destiny shook her head and looked at him in disappointment. Char was tired of this conversation that wasn't going anywhere, she just couldn't hold her tongue.

"I'm sorry but if I don't say something I'm going to be bothered." Char started. "Listen, here's the truth. You don't have a choice in the matter. Your choice came when you got drunk and had sex with this girl you can't stand. Get it together. It's not this baby's fault you made a dumb decision. You need to get your behind to that hospital and see about that child and find out for sure if he's yours or not. If he's not, you can turn around and walk out with a smile but if he is, you need to deal with it. I've missed years with my kids, trust me, you don't want to miss out on yours. I've been through hell and back, am I moping around about it? Rachel's been through some mess, do you see her crying about it? Some of that is because of our own decisions but we deal with it because that's what adults do. You can cry for a while but then you need to dust yourself off. You keep making dumb decisions because some girl dumped you, it might not be the last time. Are you going to keep making stupid decisions? You're not fifteen anymore, you're twenty. You need to act like it."

"What she said." Destiny said.

Matthew sighed heavily and then just went to the hospital.

"Did you have to be so hard?" Rachel asked.

"Hell yeah. It worked, didn't it?" Char replied.

"Besides, I've been telling him nicely for the past eight months and never got through that brick head." Destiny said.

"I can't believe he didn't tell us. Char, I'm glad you said what you said because I'm so heated, I was at a lost of words. Wait until Bo hears about this." Nora shook her head.

"There was a chance he wouldn't walk again but he's walking. He could be dead right now and he's alive and healthy. He literally got away with freaking murder but yet he keeps taking things for granted. I don't get it." Destiny said. Char didn't know anything about a murder, that caught her off guard. Destiny's phone rung. It was Dani. "What's up?"

"Vina just had the baby." Dani informed.

"Wow! Isn't she a few weeks early?"

"Yeah but the baby is healthy. It's a boy. Corey Duke Buchanan."

"Becca just had a boy too. Two new Buchanan's in one day... Possibly. I'm on my way there." They hung up. "Drew, you've got a new brother and cousin all in one day. Maybe you have a brother."

"Do you think the baby is Matthew's?" Nora asked Destiny.

"I don't know. The timing adds up, I guess but she really is a liar and an awful person. The baby probably is his. Dani's theory is that Becca is trying to trap him since her family lost their money so she can get some Buchanan money."

"You're kidding." Nora said.

"I wish. Vina had her baby too so I'm going to go to the hospital. Can you guys watch Drew?"

"Sure." Char said.

Victor went to Téa's to pick up the children once again. As he stood next to the front door he had a flashback of him and Téa making heated love for the first time just steps away from where he was standing.

Then he went home to Evangeline and looked at her beautiful smile and suddenly remembered their first kiss which was in an elevator when he was heartbroken because he thought Sam was dead.

He hadn't remembered anything new in months and for some reason, these were the memories that came back to him. This wasn't going to make his life any easier. He had to talk about all that in his next therapy session. Remembering moments with the kids would be a lot easier to handle.

Matthew walked into Becca's hospital room, she was holding her baby boy.

"Grey, look who finally showed up. Your daddy!" Becca said.

"You named him Grey? Why? That's not even a pretty color." Matthew said.

"I like it."

Matthew looked at the baby's full name written out on the front of the bassinet.

"Grey Rich Buchanan? Are you serious? You're kidding. Firstly, I'm going to need a paternity test before you give him my last name. And really? His middle name is Rich?"

"It's better to be rich than poor. I don't know why you're complaining. If you came when I called you, I would've let you name him. Do you want to hold him?"

"No. Let's get the test first."

-v-

Destiny and Dani were walking down the hall to Vina's room when they saw him flirting with a nurse.

"I do not like him." Dani said.

"Me either. Let's hope he's just a flirt and nothing more." Destiny said.

"He's so disrespectful."

"Luckily, we haven't actually seen him disrespect Vina to her face."

"He doesn't want us to see that."

Destiny and Dani went into Vina's room.

"Hey sweetie. How are you?" Destiny asked.

"Great. Tired... Meet Corey."

Corey had dark brown hair, brown eyes and light brown skin.

"He's handsome. Hi little cousin." Dani said.

"I'm glad you're both here. I know neither of you are really crazy about Zane."

"It's not that..." Dani started.

"Just let it go, D." Destiny said, stopping Dani from trying to clean up the fact that they don't like Zane. It's only because they care about Vina so much.

"Destiny, I wanted to ask you and James together but I guess I'll ask him later. Will you be Corey's godmother?"

"I'd be honored." Destiny said. "James will be here when he gets off work."

"Great. So Dani, you're getting married in a few weeks. Are you excited?"

"I can't wait. A year ago, I was having an identity crisis. I didn't know if I should call myself a Lord, a Rayburne or a Manning so I started saying my name was Delgado." Dani shook her head. "I was a mess but I've settled my issues. Now there's one thing for sure. In a few weeks, I'm going to be Dañiella Evans." Dani hugged Destiny.

"You know, I don't think I've ever heard you call yourself Dañiella."

"I know. It's growing on me."

When James got there later, Vina asked him to be Corey's godfather and he agreed. He was really flattered.

A little while later, Destiny and Dani left Vina's room and saw Matthew punching a wall in the hallway. Good thing he didn't put a hole through it but he sure did hurt his hand.

"Uh oh. I guess he got the results of the test and it wasn't the answer he wanted." Destiny said then they went over to him. "He's your son?"

"Apparently." Matthew said angrily.

"What's his name?" Dani asked.

"Grey." Matthew stated with obvious dislike.

"Grey?" Destiny and Dani echoed in unison.

"Yeah I know."

"It'll be alright Matt." Dani said.

"Just go in there, hold your son and look into his eyes. Once you fall in love, all that anger is going to fade away because it'll be filled with love." Destiny said.

"It's hard to see the light when you're drowning in darkness." Dani said. She would know.

"Love is the light." Destiny said then she and Dani hugged him. "Calm down and go hold your son."

They were so positive and Matthew just wasn't right now but he took their advice and went back in the room and held Grey. He looked into his big blue eyes and they were right, he did fall in love, though all he could see was Becca with his blonde hair and full cheeks. Everyone was right, it wasn't Grey's fault he made a bad decision. He still hated that name though. In this moment, Matthew realized he had to do better. He had to be better.

-v-

Later, Destiny went back to the Buchanan's. Char, Rachel and Nora were still in the living room.

"I've got baby pictures!" Destiny exclaimed then pulled out her phone then showed them.

"That's Zane's son, Corey." She swiped to the next picture. "That is Matthew's son, Grey."

"Grey?" They all said in unison. Destiny laughed since she, Dani and Matthew had the same reaction to the name.

"Ok, it's not that bad. Everybody can't have that reaction when they hear the name." Destiny said.

"Did he get the paternity test like he was supposed to?" Char asked.

"Yes." Destiny answered.

"So he's really Matthew's son?" Rachel asked.

"That's what he said." Destiny replied.

"That's an adorable baby but what Buchanan does he look like? Does he look like a Hanan?" Char asked.

"He looks like... Becca." Destiny said.

"Drew looks like you but I can still see Matthew, the cheek bones, the chin. Grey, I don't see it but I mean he's only a day old, maybe he'll grow into it." Char said.

"Is Matthew sure?" Nora asked.

"All I can say is, they got the results, it said he was the father. He held him, he fell in love. I don't think we're going to have to lecture him anymore... So about Corey, James and I are the godparents."

"That's nice!" Nora exclaimed then Bo walked in.

"Hello everyone!" Bo said happily. He seemed to have had a good day.

"I have to tell you something and I think you should sit down." Nora said. Bo didn't like the sound of that so he had a seat as suggested and Nora sat across from him so they could be eye to eye. She took a deep breath. "I don't even know how I should go about telling you this." Nora sighed. "Destiny, can you show that picture?" Destiny showed the picture of Grey to Bo. "Aww, what a cute kid. Is that Zane's kid?"

"No." Destiny swiped to the previous photo. "That's Zane's son, Corey." She swiped back to Grey.

"Then who is that?" Bo asked.

"Honey, that is our new grandson." Nora said.

"I don't follow." Bo said.

"Matthew got a girl pregnant about nine months ago. That is his son. He was born today. His name is Grey." Nora explained.

"Grey Rich Buchanan." Destiny said. They all looked at her with straight faces when they heard the full name. Destiny laughed. "My son's name is Drew Evan Buchanan, I didn't have anything to do with that name. I'm just the messenger." Destiny shook her head.

"Oh Lord. What was he thinking? Did he lose his mind? Did the coma mess him up? No, it started with the car accident, didn't it? I can't believe he got himself into this again. He's not ready for another kid." Bo shook his head. "Who is this child's mother?"

"Do you remember Becca?" Rachel asked.

"That girl he had a crush on freshman year of high school and she was mean to him?" Bo asked.

"That's the one." Destiny said.

"Isn't she the same girl who was helping the guy who almost kidnapped Dani?" Bo asked.

"Yes it is." Destiny said.

"And Destiny and Dani think this girl got pregnant on purpose so that she could get some money." Nora said.

"Aww man. Now I need a drink." Bo said.

The next day, Nora, Bo, Rachel and David went to see Grey. Considering they've only had a day to adjust to the news of Matthew having a new baby, they were still in shock. Matthew didn't even tell David and he tells David everything but as goofy as David may be, he takes his family very seriously. Even he would've lectured him about not being there through the pregnancy to make sure this baby was alright.

Grey didn't have everything he needed so they went out and got more bottles, pampers, a car seat, more clothes. Becca had some things for him but not nearly enough. They also had to buy things to take back to the mansion for him, however, they still had some of Drew's old stuff.

Weeks passed. Luckily, they were on break from school but Matthew was still warn out trying to balance two kids and work. Old Matthew would have wanted to runaway but he knew he had to be more mature so that wasn't an option but he was stressing out. Matters were about to get a little worst.

It was the day of Dani's wedding and Matthew was all dressed up and ready to go. He was dateless but that was cool, he didn't even have time to date. He went through his mail and came across a letter that didn't make him too happy. Becca was suing him for child support.

"This is some bull****!" Matthew was pissed off. He got in his car and headed over to Becca's apartment so fast. He banged on the door like a cop. She answered irritated.

"What the hell is wrong with you? I just got the baby to sleep." Becca said. Matthew held up the letter.

"You're suing me for some damn child support like I'm not the only one financially supporting Grey anyway."

"It's not enough."

"The hell it's not. I've got a two year old already, I know what he needs and I make sure he has everything. What do you want me to do, pay your rent?" Becca looked amused by Matthew's irritation. "If you think you're going to take advantage of me and my family's money, you've got another thing coming. Do not piss me off."

Matthew knew he was in for some hard times with this girl and it was just the beginning.

-v-

Dani wore a gorgeous, elegant yet sexy backless, spaghetti strapped, mermaid wedding gown. She looked in the mirror with her bridal party who wore light blue bridesmaids dresses around her. Her bridesmaids included, Vina, Starr, Langston, Monica and Aria. She invited Hanna to the wedding but she said she couldn't make it, however, she sent a gift. Destiny was of course the maid of honor. Hope was the flower girl.

"So cous, are you ready to marry your prince?" Destiny asked.

"I'm more ready than I've ever been for anything in my life." Dani replied.

Téa walked in the room, trying not to cry.

"Mami, please don't cry." Dani said.

"I'm trying. You look so beautiful, mija. I brought you something old." Téa opened a small jewelry box with gorgeous diamond earrings."

"They're beautiful." Dani said.

"They were my grandmother's. They were the most expensive thing she owned. She wore them on her wedding day and she and my grandfather were married for fifty wonderful years."

"I love them, gracias mami." Dani hugged Téa and put on the earrings. "You know one of the best parts about this day? I know Victor and Todd are going to behave."

"They're both going to walk you down the aisle like mature adults and they both are nice to your fiancé. Who said things and people can't change?" Starr said.

Téa went to her seat. Then soon the wedding started.

Ty awaited Dani at the end of the aisle as Todd and Victor walked her. The moment triggered a flashback for Victor. He looked at Téa as he walked down the aisle.

Téa and Victor were getting married at their house surrounded by their children and Cole.

"I'm going to love you like there's no tomorrow but we're not going to live for tomorrow. We're going to live for today and try to figure out how to make it last forever." Victor said.

"A couple months ago, I never thought I would smile again but you changed that. You showed me that we can find our way to each other and if that can happen anything can happen. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world right now. I have you. I have our kids and this is a moment that will live in our memories forever." Téa said and as she spoke Victor kept wiping away her tears.

They finally got Dani to Ty. Victor and Todd both gave her away. How sweet, they learned how to share.

Todd sat next to Blair and Victor sat next to Evangeline. He loved Evangeline with all his heart and he remembered more about their past, now he remembered marrying Téa and how much he loved her. Nothing was black and white any longer. He was living in shades of grey with total confusion. He really was in love with two phenomenal, wonderful women. How could he choose?

A montage of memories suddenly flooded back to Victor but he didn't remember the way he did before. This time he remembered what was real, what actually happened to him. He remembered his childhood or lack of one. He remembered all that Irene had done to him. Everything she did to turn him into Todd, everything from putting the scar on his face to having him get the surgery so that he looked like Walker Laurence. Everything thereafter was about the life he lived as Todd, the good the bad and the ugly but he didn't remember any of the false memories that were originally given to him. He often asked himself for the past year, who is Victor? He finally knew the answer.

Dani had never been happier in her life. She looked around. Her entire family was there and they were all getting along. This was perfect.

"Dani, I have loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you. I'm a better man just by being with you. I promise I will be the man you deserve and I'll always give you all of my heart and soul. I will always love you. I want to be in the light with you forever." Ty said.

"I was in the darkness for so long and you were the only one who could pull me out. You brought me into the light with you and that's the only place I want to be. I am my best self when I am with you. You showed me how wonderful my life is when I wanted to give up. I am forever grateful to you. I love you so much, the entire galaxy doesn't even measure up. That will never change and I will be the best wife that I can be."

After the "I do's" and kissing of the bride, they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Evans.

They headed to the reception. Just about everyone was having a good time. Destiny caught the bouquet, James caught the garter. This was the second time Destiny caught the bouquet. The first time was at Bo and Nora's wedding. It was three times if you counted Shaun and Char's wedding but really Char just gave it to her. She didn't know if that was a sign or anything but they were nice memories. Jason Derulo was at the wedding and sung "Marry Me" for them again. Destiny and James were dancing to it. James whispered in her ear.

"This song is about us." James said. Destiny looked up at him and smiled. Shaun came over.

"Des, can you check on your mother? She ran to the ladies room." Shaun asked.

"Yeah. I'll be right back." Destiny walked away.

Téa was dancing with her father and Dani was dancing with Todd.

"I have to thank you for being so cordial with Victor since he's been back. We all appreciate it so much. The fact that you could put everything aside for the sake of your family really shows how much you really do love us." Dani said.

"Yeah, well I'm a big boy now." Todd saw Victor walking toward them. "I'm such a big boy, I'm going to let him have the next dance." Dani turned to Victor and Todd walked away and went to dance with Starr.

"Hey dad." Dani smiled and they began to dance.

"Hey pretty girl... Guess what?" Victor said.

"What?"

"I remember everything."

"You do?"

"You're the first one I've told... You're wearing the necklace I gave you."

"Yeah I am." Dani smiled.

"I'm sorry I took so long to remember."

"It wasn't your fault. You were still here for us, despite not having your memories... Since you remember, I have to wonder, where does this leave you and Evangeline and even you and mom?"

"Can I be honest with you?" Dani nodded. "I'm not sure. I love them both deeply. I'm not sure how to deal with that.

"I guess right now, you just have to be honest with yourself and them and do what's best for everyone." Victor nodded.

"I still won't be the man you knew before. That man thought he was Todd. This man knows he is Victor."

Destiny was in the ladies room with Char who had gotten sick.

"Are you alright?" Destiny asked.

"I've been feeling so miserable lately. I don't know what's wrong." Char said.

"Um... Are you... Pregnant?"

"No."

"Are you sure because you sure seem like you are?"

"I'm not pregnant. I can't be. The doctors said I couldn't."

"No. They said you may not be able to. There's a difference and doctors aren't always right. Matthew is living proof of that."

Char thought about it.

"You think? No... Well I do have the symptoms and I am... Late... Very late. Oh snap, I might be."

"That would be a good thing, right? You and Shaun wanted a few kids anyway."

"Yeah but we talking about adopting a couple once we knew Kya would be ok with it. It would be a good thing if I were pregnant but the idea is scary to me now. I've been pregnant three times and something has happened every time. I can't go through any of it again."

"If there is a baby, no one will take them from you this time and no one is going to try and hurt you again. You're really safe now, right?" She had to ask. You can never be too sure with Char.

"Yeah."

"Then don't worry mom." Destiny hugged her then they headed back to the reception.

Victor was dancing with Evangeline.

"You remember, don't you?" Evangeline asked.

"What makes you think that?" Victor asked.

"I saw the way you looked at Téa when you were walking Dani down the aisle. So do you?"

"Yes but I'm confused. I remember loving you before and we've happily been together for a year. We have a daughter."

"We never even got to be together before. We were still in the beginning stages of falling for each other. I was still in love with Cristian and you loved Blair... You had a whole life with Téa. You were married to her and you have children together too."

"I was never in love with Blair. Todd was. I know that now but I know it's complicated with Téa. I'm being honest, I do love her but I love you too. I can't just walk away. It's not that simple." A tear fell from Evangeline's eye. Victor wiped it away. "Please, don't cry. You know I hate it when you cry."

"I shouldn't have gotten involved with you when you didn't have your memories but I love you so much. Because I love you, I have to let you go. Téa loves you too. That's why as much as she hates seeing us together, she's never interfered because she wants you to be happy. You need to go back to your wife, Victor. You need to try to make it work. I will be fine and nothing will change between you and Angel. Go talk to Téa." She kissed his cheek then went home.

Victor went to sit across from Téa at her table. Everyone else was up dancing.

"Hello Victor. This was nice, right?" Téa said as she watched Dani and Ty together.

"It was wonderful... I remember everything." Victor blurted out.

Téa looked at him.

"Everything?" Téa asked.

"Yes. The wedding and being surrounded by everyone, it triggered it all to come back. As I walked Dani down the aisle I remembered our wedding."

"What are you saying, Victor?"

"I'm saying I remember you and our love for each other. It changes things for me but I need time to sort out my feelings because..."

"It doesn't change the fact that you love Evangeline and have had a life with her for a year now."

"Yes."

Téa stood up and took his hand.

"Dance with me at our daughter's wedding." Téa said. He followed her to the center of the floor and they danced to "In My Life" by The Beatles. "I've missed you. I hope you figure out what you want soon because when you do I'll be right here waiting." She kissed his cheek.

Jack sat next to Starr looking sad and pathetic.

"What's the matter with you?" Starr asked.

"Jaime has a date." Jack said.

"You've got to let it go man." Starr shook her head then rubbed her brother's back.

Matthew was watching everyone else enjoy themselves but he was still stressed out. Dani's cousin Monica came over and sat next to him.

"No te preocupes ser feliz." Monica said.

"What does that mean?" Matthew asked.

"Don't worry be happy. Your face is so long, it's almost touching the floor. People who stress a lot age badly, you know."

"I'm already feeling older than I am."

"That's a problem. Come on, cheer up. At least for a little while." She took his hand and took him to the dance floor.

"There's all these basketball players and singers here so why are you here trying to cheer me up?"

"They're just people and I don't like seeing a young nice guy sitting alone all sad at a happy occasion. You need someone right now and I happen to be available to be that person so smile dude." Matthew finally cracked a smile. "That's more like it."

Once Matthew finally started to enjoy himself. He got a phone call from his dad.

"Dad, what's up?" Matthew asked.

"Son, I have some bad news." Bo said.

"What is it?"

"Becca was murdered."

"What?" Matthew was shocked.

"Apparently, she crossed over a lot of people and owed a lot of people money and they finally caught her."

"Where's Grey?"

"He's fine. He's with me. He was there when the LPD arrived on the scene. We'll be at home when you get there." They ended their call.

"What's wrong?" Monica asked.

"Becca's dead." Matthew couldn't believe it and now he was really Grey's only parent.

"I'm so sorry." Monica said.

"I have to go." Matthew left. From life to death and all the memories in between...

"There are places I remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain

All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends
I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all." - The Beatles

Will add again on Tuesday.
