Legends 25

Woo already working on the next chapter and the last one was up for like a day, look at me go using my lunch at work to do something productive. But really I am trying to start a thing where I wrote at least 100 words on my lunch. If that keeps up every 15-20 days will be a new chapter. So you can hope I stick to it.

Still in need of some OCs if anyone is interested in giving me some.

The sun had faded and the moon was rising slowly to bring the night to the city. A slight breeze cooled of the warm and humid temperature. A new camp was set up further from the schoolhouse they were at before; due to the earlier fight, it had looked as though it was about to crumble and Leaf was barely conscious enough to walk at the current moment let alone fix the building. The small fire crackled as May watched it in awe, the others resting, processing the words that Nix had told them.

The platinum blonde man had lost consciousness after he escaped Leaf's rocks when she had blacked out for a short period of time. Along with getting multiple hits in, he had taken a substantial amount of damage back once Paul and Dawn tag teamed against him. Since Leaf wasn't able to hold up restraints any longer, Gary took charge and froze the man to the wall.

Sitting upright Ash began to spin one of his shuriken around his finger as a way to pass the time. "So you think they'll be showing up for him soon?" he asked. A rustle was heard from the forest as a creature emerged, spotting the teens. Before it could get any closer, Ash tossed the shuriken he was once distracting his self with towards it. Managing to get a shot right in the middle of its forehead with out looking. After if hit a quick Taser like jolt of electricity shocked it and caused the creature to fade away signaling it had been defeated. "Dawn could you get that for me?"

Looking over to where Ash pointed with his thumb, Dawn picked the small weapon up and brought it back to Ash without lifting a finger. A bored look was plastered to her face as she lay up against a road sign. "Honestly, call it a gut feeling but I don't believe he has a tracker on him at all. Like think that through. Why would one of the leaders need a tracker, I would think that if any one were going to need a tracker it would be someone that a leader is in charge of. Although since they don't actually have anyone according to our lovely mentors I think it is just pure bullshit." Misty told turning her head back to the group. She sat on the outer ridge of the circle of friends, watching the forest as Drew and Dawn had seen many army member in the before.

After Nix was held back the first time by Leaf he began to tell them group a long aimless story that turned out a complete wasn't of time. After that he said that his tracker would be signalling to the other four leaders that he was no longer mobile. Not moving would mean one of two things, he had decided to leave the tracker or he had been defeated, most likely the latter of the two. In his words "taking off a tracker is punishable by death." Once the others realised that he wasn't able to battle any longer they would switch in to fight and send him back.

"What if it isn't an actual tracker?" Dawn asked, trying to get involved in the chat. Her hand was stroking Paul's hair as he had fallen asleep and they wanted to keep an eye on him. Though the teens had won against Nix, he still managed to land multiple strikes doing a significant amount of damage.

Standing up to stretch his muscle a bit, Drew looked at the blue haired beauty in confusion. "What does that mean exactly?"

"Well I mean what if instead of a little GPS like object that tracks the location of the carrier, it's something different?" Dawn explained looking at Drew, some shuffling was heard from a distance but she assumed it to just be the wild animals living around here. "Say you have it on an object that you are always riding around, like a car. The GPS would be in the car and not on you. That way you can do your own thing and not be watched constantly."

Gary walked up beside Drew looking, joining him in looking at the girl. "so like say this guy," he pointed at Nix. "had like an army of soldiers to himself and that is his tracker." His voice calm and Dawn smiled.

"Exactly like that, I mean it's a little specific but the general idea is correct." She tucked a lock of her blue hair behind her ear fire it had fallen into her field of view.

"Well I'm glad I got the general idea, cause I think I was pretty dead on. We've have got some serious company that we didn't cook this much food." Gary said taking a look and where Misty and Ash were now in a battle stance facing the horde of monsters that had come to receive their commander.

The others that were still mobile stood quickly, racing to be behind Misty and Ash. Dawn woke Paul much to his disliking but was able to get him to move over to beside Leaf where she would protect them within a shield, as they were too weak to fight in the current moment. She made her way over to the others holding her hand out beside her as she did. A glowing light appeared soon being replaced by a golden scepter. It was light in weight but the top had to rounded prongs with a black diamond center atop the post she held. The bottom was fitted with a small blade similar to the top. A black leather strap wrapped its way around the entirety of the base.

"What do we have?" Dawn asked taking her stance beside Misty who had summoned her mallet.

A crackle of lighting stormed the sky that was clear only moments ago, a large wave of water cause the horde to fall back a bit. After catching her breath from using such a large amount of energy Misty was able to respond, "looks like a bunch of death riders. They aren't moving overly fast but we need a plan."

"They are soaked in water, since they aren't overly strong in terms of their health let's round 'em up and then get Ash to do a lovely electrocution. Since he's already summoned a storm up." Drew said raising the hood into his head, covering the bright hair.

Following the command, the group spilt surrounding the enemy where they were. Flashed of all different power collided as they pushed to get them as close together as possible. Some fell in the process of herding them but it wasn't going to matter in the end, they would all perish soon enough. After about ten minutes, the area was cleared with about half the original number of death riders. Drew yelled to clear the area quick before the cluster became separated once again.

Raising his hands, palms facing the sky, Ash brought them down quickly. A shower of static rained over the land and the lightning crackled, illuminating the darkened city. Breathing heavily Ash, stopped the attack on the cluster of enemies, before resting his hands on his knees.

Looking at the area that was once filled with decomposing bodies, a barren black circle remained. The charred Earth still pulsing with electricity. "I think I may have over done that a little bit."

I know it's a short chapter but I felt like it would be best to cut it here rather than continue with what is coming up in the next chapter. I'll hopefully update again before the 5th of August because I will be going to Montreal for the Weekend for a Metal Festival and then I have another concert on the Monday when I get back home. I have the week off of work so I'll try to get a few chapter written up and ready to post but I can't make any guarantees because it is a week where I'll need to get a bunch of different things done.

Again, if you have an OC that you wish to be in the story I still need some so send me a PM or leave a review with it. I'll give your character full credit whenever it is a chapter.
