Even though Godric didn't think that anyone could hear him when he said for Sookie never to forget him one person did. Caesar swore in his native language as he paced in his bedroom. "If you keep that up nothing's gonna be left of the floor." He looked up when he heard the silky voice of his lover Kallisto.
"I suppose not, but if we are to claim the throne I need to marry Sookie and then kill her. We can't do that if she continues to be with those vampyres." Caesar cringed as he said the last word.
"Dear, if I didn't know any better I would think you are in love with that little half-blood." Kallisto raised a single dark eyebrow. "But that can't be possible for you have only seen her twice."
Caesar strode over to her "You know as well as I do I only have feelings for you. She is simply a means to an end and those things are getting in the way of the end." To prove his point he pulled her to him and kissed her roughly.
Kallisto grinned as she pulled away from Caesar. "Now now lover, we can't get too carried away, you know as well as I do that your only chance of being able to steal Sookie away from the Vampyres is now. When she is actually in our realm for the first time in 20 years."
Sighing Caesar nodded his understanding "I know I know Kalli, but the little half blood is so disgusting, and I will have to act as though I am in love with her and actually want her."
'He is such a crybaby, but he is also the only fairy that is able to please me as I deserve to be pleased.'
Both fairies looked up in shock as they heard a soft knock on Caesar's door. "Quis homo? (Who is it?)"
"Sookie est. Necesse est dicere. (Sookie is. Needless to say.)"
Caesar looked at Kallisto and said "You need to hide, she cannot know that we are together. You know her feelings for you."
Nodding Kallisto walked towards his huge walk in closet and sat on the floor as he closed the door after her 'The things I do for that man, honestly.'
Caesar walked to his door and opened it seeing Sookie in all of her fairy beauty. She was wearing a white robe open over a gold corseted dress with gold lace up boot, and a diamond tiara in her long wavy hair that now reached to her knees. "Yes my betrothed?"
"We must speak." She stepped into the room and walked over to where he had a couch. Sitting on it she motioned for him to do the same. "You know I cannot marry you, for I am already mated. And it is simply impossible for you to wish me to leave them for you."
Glaring at her he said "We have been betrothed for 20 years, I have waited 20 years for you to come back to me. I am not going to give you up for two vampyres" Caesar grimaced as he said the word, as if it would simply kill him. "Their kind and our kind cannot get along, sooner or later they are going to open one of your veins and kill you."
Shaking her head at his stupidity Sookie sighed "I know that you are extremely prejudiced against them, but I love them. And you need to realize that I am never going to love you as I love them, and my mother has given me permission to come here and tell you that our marriage is off."
Jumping up in anger Caesar swore. "You lie!" he grabbed Sookie's arm and threw her into the wall. "Your mother knows how important this marriage is to the realm. She would never let you break it!" He yelled as he kicked her in the stomach. Suddenly there were several flashes of light and Sookie's mother, Sebastian, Ulysses, Oedipus, and Leo were all standing in Caesar's room.
"I suggest you stop hurting my daughter Caesar, that is enough. Sebastian, Leo, grab him." As the men did as their queen asked she moved forward to her daughter.
"Mater, infantem? (Mother, baby?)" Sookie asked quietly.
The queen put her hands over Sookie's stomach and a white light began to glow from them. Sookie shivered and all the men watched as the broken arm she got when she was thrown into the wall healed and all the blood came off of her.
Hugging her daughter she whispered "Et sanatus est puer. (He was healed)"
Sobbing in relief and happiness Sookie looked over at her attacker. "You will be punished to the fullest extent of Faery law." Suddenly there was a scream from the closet.
"NO!" Kallisto yelled as she ran out of the closet and towards Caesar. Before she could get there however, Ulysses and Oedipus grabbed her arms and swung her toward Sookie.
"What were you doing in there Kalli?", Sookie asked looking hurt.
"Oh does the little half-blood not know? I never cared about you. I have been sleeping with Caesar for years now. He only loves me. He was planning on marrying you and then killing you."
"But we were as close as sisters before I was taken…..what happened to your loyalty?"
"My mother simply told me to get close to you so I could take the crown someday." Kallisto grinned evilly "She adored her sister the queen, but when it became clear that she was in love with a human Mother knew that someone PURE would need to take the line."
I am so so sorry that I pretty much abandoned this story, but there has been some new interest in it, so I decided to write a chapter to see what you guys thought. A big big thanks to Ice Jewel of eternal beauty, and tleel. I hope you like this one. Oh and I have decided that the Queen needs a name. Suggestions are much appreciated! Review and say what you think she should be called.
