*warning: this chapters gonna be short because the next one is nothing but war based...what? Who said that? Not me haha hope y'all enjoy :)*

~Erin~

I wasn't shocked, more or less surprised. These High Elders, the oldest of old, looked nothing more than teenagers. Though it was easy to see they had plenty of centuries behind them.

Ice was average hight with waist length hair that out shined snow and her bangs were so long they were tied back behind her head. Her eyes were ice, cold blue mixed with white and purple. She wore a long white dress that ended by her ankles and almost covered the white heels she wore. Her skin was pale but had a shade of a rosy tint. There were no sleeves on her dress but thin straps that pulled back behind her neck, which most likely revealed her upper back. On her upper arm she had a blue band that had black symbols engraved all around it.

Fire was taller than me, by a few inches. Her hair cut off just above her waist, black faded into red tips. Her eyes were dancing with flame and the slits belonging to any dragon's eye stood out among the orange and blue flame. She wore a fitted black tank and blue jeans. Her leather boot legs hidden under the jeans. Around her wrist was a chain bracelet and a silver ring on her thumb matched.

"Titan's spell was hidden well, how did you get a hold of it?"

Ice asked. Her voice was cold yet sweet.

"The Elders have many scrolls. It was a perk of being locked up for so long."

I answered. Not to respectfully on my part.

"Derek."

Ice said looking at Fire. Fire never really took her eyes off of me.

"What was your reason for calling us half-breed?"

She asked. Fire's voice was more violent and ancient.

"I-..."

I stuttered.

'Why did I call? How did I even know the spell?'

It was true the Elders had scrolls, but I had never come across that before. Have I? Somehow I knew it and knew it would bring them here.

"Forgive me. I have forgotten my reason, or if I even had one."

I said looking at the ground.

"That's rather rude."

Ice said. She was in front of me before I could blink and had her finger under my chin.

"When speaking, you make eye contact. Weren't you taught better?"

She asked. Up close I could see her eyes better and I swore I saw crystals and frozen water in her eyes.

"Storm and Water know we are here."

Fire said. Ice looked up at the sky. Her eyes darted around as if finding a bird or searching the clouds.

"So it seems. Perhaps you will remember your reason next time we meet Ms. Mist?"

Ice said looking at me and giving a small smile.

"Next time?"

I asked. She had returned to Fire's side.

"Oh yes. We will meet again."

She said, if not promised.

"Don't worry about your clan, our sister has taken care of that problem."

Fire said. They each left before I could open my mouth. Ice in a twister of snowflakes and wind. Fire in a pillar of dark blue flame.

~No One~

The four sisters stood not far from where Erin was.

"You completed her whole clan?"

Ice asked Water. She nodded. Fire's eyes watched Erin as she walked away from the valley.

"You've been doing that since her birth sister, rest your eyes."

Water said concerned. Fire was always watching Erin, to make sure nothing happened. Ice put a hand on Fire's shoulder and smiled.

"Derek believes it's time. Do you agree Fire?"

She asked. Before Fire could answer Ice spoke again.

"Funny thing about those half-breeds."

Ice said to Fire as Erin continued through the trees.

"Yes. A secret well kept among us."

Fire said. It was known half-breeds had two beats inside them, but there was more to it. Fire smiled.

"Time to reveal the second bond."

She said.

While Erin walked back to the castle a hidden force worked to unfold something that was hid away from even the Elders themselves.

Half-breeds had two souls.
