I can't see his face but I can picture the smile on his face now. I pull away from him and kiss him lacing my fingers with his.
Someone yells "No PDA"
I look over and see our friends watching us with huge grins on their faces, Zeke has one arm around Shauna's shoulders and one arm extending palm up in front of Uriah, Uriah annoyed, pulls out his wallet and pulls out money slapping it in Zeke's hand. A repeat with Marlene and Lynn, Lynn handing over the money.
"You guys really bet on us?" Four says with a huge grin
"Yeah, it was between you guys already dating and not dating yet, and after today its obvious you were already dating" Lynn says
"I get half the bet money, and Uriah don't you know yet Zeke doesn't bet unless he will win" Four says
"Wait! Zeke knew?!" Uriah whines
Shauna hits Zeke and everyone stares angrily at Four, and I. The bell rings to go to class, finally photography.
I sit down in class, Robert on my tale as usual, I had entirely forgotten about him, until now. We get another free day so do what we want as long as we bring back pictures
"Hey Tris, can we walk around and talk, just you and me, as friends" Robert says each word is more depressing and quieter then the last.
I look to Four to reassure him, as well as approval he is surprised, but really I am as well, the hole time Robert has been here he hasn't tried to stand up for himself he has just listened as Four and I have asked for alone time.
"I understand if you don't" Robert says even more depressing. He has always been this way its so irratating
"Yes" I say immediately
Regret of lunch, and this morning finally hitting me, I didn't want to hurt him, but I was so mad at Nita I didn't care who I hurt, and I haven't been very nice too Robert my friend. A smile creeps a crossed Robert's face, and Four is neutralizing his emotion, only meaning he is hurting but understands it's for the best. Robert and I walk out into the hall
"Common I want to get some more pictures on the hill" he nods and we walk out onto the hill behind our school. We are silent taking pictures, we even get some of wild life.
When Robert breaks it "Why did you run away?" his words so emotionless.
"I told you I needed some time to myself, I missed being outside" he nods
We go back to silence, I'm not sure how much time passes but I can't take saying nothing.
"I'm sorry Robe…." He interrupts me
"Tris, I'm transferring to Amity for the remaining three weeks I'm here, I just want to be friends again, yes I love you, and I always will, but you have Four, I can't take following you around hoping for something more, but not even friends" He says his eyes closed tight
"I told you I don't know if we will be able to be close like we were even as friends but we can try, you always were a great friend" I say
He smiles wide and we walk around taking pictures in a comfortable silence. Once it's time to go back to class we talk about random things, he talks about YouTube videos he has seen and I laugh, he says he will show me them some other time, we walk into the class room
"Whatever you do just keep Four and your business in your bedroom and quiet" he says jokingly, but he knows of my fear of intimacy so he knows I won't sleep with him.
I hit his arm and we both laugh I look and see intense eyes staring me.
Four's.
"Hey, I'll walk home with you, but I need to go talk to Tori." I say
He nods, and he looks genuinely happy, he doesn't suppress his despair. I walk to Tori
"Tori, is there anything you want us to bring for Dinner tonight?" I ask
"If you want, you can bring desert" She says
"Ice cream ok? I can make homemade ice cream and brownies?" I say and she nods with enthusiasm.
"What time should we be there?" I ask
"lets say 6?" she says
"Ok, see you then Tori" then I walk away and sit on Four's desk
"Hey, babe why the stare?" I say
"What went on between you and Robert?" He says
"Oh he said he understands that you and I are together, and he just wants to be friends again" I say
"and you said" He says eagerly
"I said he was always a good friend, and I want to be friends again, why does this matter?" I say unsure
"Its nothing, just thought Robert was making a move on you again" he laughs and then I laugh
I print off the pictures I took and turn them in, The bell rings and I gather my stuff, Four walks Robert and I home. Four stays for a while when I give him the option to go or stay, me and Four spend time making homemade ice cream and Brownies. I find it strange that I haven't seen Percy home yet. Caleb is probably in his room, and I don't normally hear from Susan, but she will be in Caleb's room.
The ice cream is freezing and Brownies are cooling
"We have an hour and a half before we need to be to Tori's, and I need to go talk to Caleb ok?" I say and he grabs me pulling me toward him
"Ok, if I get a kiss" He says
"Won't your girlfriend be upset?" I say playfully
"She stepped into another room to give us privacy" He says (The Host reference for anyone who doesn't know!)
"Then I better go before she comes back" I try and pull away laughing but he doesn't let me go
"One kiss is the Toll" he says puckering his lips, I kiss him, but I smash an egg on his head I pull away
"Nice hat" I say
"Oh Tris, you are going to get it!" he says letting me go and wiping the egg off his head
"Tris?!" I hear a yell from the top of the stairs.
"Caleb?" I say and he runs down the stairs
"you're back!" he hugs me
"Are you going to tell me what you are hiding from me?!" I practically yell
"Tris, I want to believe me, but Percy doesn't" Caleb says
"I don't care someone better tell me!" I yell
"Tris, don't be so childish, I told you I want to but it's not my place, I really have to respect Percy's wish, so go after him" He says accusingly
"I'm not being Childish, I have a right to know!" I hiss at him
Caleb walks off and I'm fuming, you could probably see smoke coming out of my ears.
"Tris, he will tell you just give him time" Four says
"No you don't understand, Percy the only one that ever really cared for me until I moved here, is keeping something from me! He denied telling me to my face, even Caleb agrees I should know whatever he is hiding from me! It's about dad I know it, my life has always been a secret to me, I know they know and they won't tell me! My own brother!" a few tears escaping from my eyes
I'm so angry my fist clench tightly, I punch the wall, I have to fight to get it out then I punch a picture frame, and the wall behind it. The picture is of our family, back in the country, after UP moved away.
Then I back away leaving the picture as it is, I'm calm again, my hand is in so much pain it's hard to stay angry now, I want to cry but I won't. I clean up my hand in the sink pulling the few shards of glass from my hand, the front door opens up and I hear walking that stops I can't see who and I don't think they realize I'm here
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE TOBIAS?! WHAT HAPPENED!" it's Percy screaming
Tobias, who is Tobias? Does he mean Four?
"Tri…" Four is interrupted
"No get out of this house I told you I'm not telling her, she is just being childish running away" He says angrily
Four looks at me then the footsteps continue and I see Percy's confused face
"Tris?" Percy says
I pull my hand out from the water and wipe my hand off with a towel, I hope the blood stopped.
"I'm not a child anymore Percy, I have a right to know!" I say dangerously calm
"What happened to your hand?!" he says completely disregarding my previous statement.
I scoff and put the brownies on a plate and grab the ice cream dishing it up into a container. Percy claiming he is doing it for my own good. I ignore him when he is just trying to defend his reasoning for not telling me.
"I can take care of myself" I slam the door behind me walking out of the house, a few minutes go by then Four follows.

A/N Like i said last chapter things are kind of taking a 180! Robert had wanted Tris but till now he thought he had a chance with her being single, but once he knew he didn't have a chance he gave up the pursuit, if she wont love him then he wants to be friends again.
Sorry I'm kind of have a lot of emotional stuff going on, and its a work in progress, i can only hope things work out. So bare with me please.
