Hey! I apologise soooo much for the delay! I had college stuff going on and I was updating/starting a few other Morganville (mainly Morganville - all with Amelie in of course) Now 26 chapters I guess you have all pretty much forgotten what has happened and can't be bothered to re-read the story (newcomers do not read Spoilers until you have read story!) so I shall write a summary:

***SPOILERS***

Amelie hears a knock on the door one night and opens it to find a baby girl on the doorstep with no-one to be seen. She takes the baby in and adopts her naming her Sarah Jane. Sarah Jane soon starts to exhibit her powers by being able to project visions and memories into a person's (or vampires) head by touching their hand/cheek/leg/neck etc. Everyone who is touched, tells Amelie that Sarah Jane isn't a normal baby girl but Amelie doesn't believe them.

Sarah Jane grows up fast reaching 3 years old in 5 weeks and 5 years old in 4 weeks. As Sarah Jane keeps exhibiting her powers, a spaceship above the Earth detects her powers and a group of 3 humanoids from the same planet Sarah Jane came from, come down to Morganville with the intent of taking Sarah Jane back to the planet where there is a war going on and she is the bomb who will end the war.

The 3 humanoids find Sarah Jane and insist on calling her Zanthe (which severely annoys Sarah Jane) and were about to take her when Myrnin rescued her and brought her to abandoned warehouse where she hid. Amelie calls the humanoids to her office and they explain their purpose and one of them accidentally slips out that they have genetically made Sarah Jane to be a bomb. Amelie ordered them out and that they will never take Sarah Jane.

Meanwhile, Sarah Jane and Myrnin come up with a plan to sabotage the humanoids ship so they can't take her away. They go to the ship and Sarah Jane overrides the control and makes the ship, called the Mainframe, hostile to the humanoids. Sarah Jane realises she could use the ship to end the war instead of sacrificing herself and says her goodbyes to everyone.

When Sarah Jane arrives on her planet she programs the Mainframe to explode when when she lures the main enemies of the war within range. But when she gets in to lure them out, the creatures of Messaline directing the war efforts realise the bomb has returned and lock her up to use her later. She gets rescued and the flying horse like creature 'defuses' her, so she is of no use to Messalinians (creatures native to Messaline), and drop her back off in Morganville, where she learns 70 years have passed.

When she goes to Amelie hoping for a happy reunion Amelie coldly rejects her, though Myrnin welcomes her back with open arms. Myrnin argues with Amelie about her behaviour then angrily leaves. Sarah Jane goes to the Glass House where only Michael and Claire are left (Claire was turned as it was either become immortal or be a brain in a jar) and she explains to them what happened with Amelie. Michael angry and determined to get Amelie to accept Sarah Jane again grabs his keys and leaves for Founder's Square.

***End SPOILERS***

Claire's POV

Michael drove until we arrived at Founder's Square. "Sarah Jane, get down."

Sarah Jane got down on the floor beneath the glove box and I laid my coat over her to hide her more.

As we pulled up the guards took a glance at us and let us through.

"I would have thought Amelie had told them to keep us out." I said.

"They were probably looking for Sarah Jane." Michael's hand tightened on the steering wheel. He took a breath and parked the car, then got out.

I got out and so did Sarah Jane. "How will we get in?"

"Well..." Michael looked up at the sky. The sun was just beginning to set, but it was still dangerous for vampires to be out without protective clothes on. "We could try sneaking in somewhere."

"I don't see anywhere we could get in."

"Let's just try and get in the easy way first before thinking up anything harder." Michael said. He beckoned for Sarah Jane to follow him and went inside.

Almost immediately we were stopped. "The Founder doesn't want to see the kid."

"We got a message saying she did, so move." Michael went around him and the guard grabbed his arm.

"The Founder doesn't want to see the kid." He said again.

I glanced at Sarah Jane. She was looking up at the top of the stairs. I followed her gaze and there stood Amelie staring back at her, completely expressionless. It lasted maybe a minute then Amelie went back into her office.

Sarah Jane's hand crackles with electricity. Suddenly she threw her hands out and a blinding blue light flashed, lighting up the entire room. When it had vanished all the vampires and humans who weren't behind Sarah Jane were unconscious (or dead... It's hard to tell with vampires)

"Whoa, where did you learn that?" Michael asked.

Sarah Jane shrugged. "When I was alone and everything. I figured the light changed either as I grow or if I use a different power-thing."

"Anyway let's go, before they wake up." I said, stepping over the guards and everyone. Sarah Jane led the way going upstairs.

Once she reached Amelie office door she turned back to us. "Stay out here."

Sarah-Jane's POV

I walked into the office and shut the door. Amelie stood near the window, staring out. "I guess that was you downstairs."

"They wouldn't have let me pass."

"I asked them not to. I'm busy, I haven't got time to care for you."

"I don't need caring for anymore." I said. "I guess I'm 15 or something now, I can take care of myself."

"You'll die eventually." Amelie said. "Everyone who is not immortal dies. When you left, I was a mess. I couldn't keep my mind off you for months. Then I realised you will either die on your mission or will grow old and die sooner or later. I can't get attached to you again."

"Well, my lifespan is over 3,000 years so you don't have to worry about me dying anytime soon." She still wasn't looking at me. I just wanted to see her face. I took a breath. "I'll never forget the first time I saw you."

Amelie turned to look at me then. "You were a baby."

"From a different planet. We remember our parents. When I came back, I was so excited to meet you, but then you just wanted me out of your sight."

It was a long while, but Amelie eventually said, "You don't have to go back to the planet if you don't want. Also you might be happy to know that you're would be kidnapped have been killed."

I guess I was slightly happy... "So I can come and stay with you?"

"No. Find somewhere to stay, just not with me."

I knew what was wrong with her; she didn't want to feel anything in case I left her again. Telling her won't do anything, I had to show her.

I walked up to her. Amelie's eyes flared red, but I wasn't put off with it. I had been raised by a vampire after all. I grabbed her hand. "I need to show you something. Something you're afraid will happen."

"I don't need you to show me anything." Amelie said and took her hand away. "Just go. I will call for you, when I need you."

"I know that won't happen." I said and grabbed her hand again and showed her what she was afraid of happening. She opened her heart to me again, only for it to be broken again, by either death, or being taken back to my planet.

Amelie ripped her hand from mine and pushed me. I fell near the desk. She didn't push hard enough, or I probably would have gone through the wall. "That's enough."

"That's what you're afraid of happening." I said, getting up. "It won't happen. I can control my powers better and I already said I live for over 3,000 years."

"You can't see the future," Amelie said. "You don't know what will happen."

"But I can show you what I know will happen, because I won't let anyone take me away from you."

"No. Just go, before you get hurt." I ignored her and walked forward. Amelie went to strangle me, but she stopped and went to push me away instead. "Go. I won't tell you again." I didn't move and when she went to either strangle me or push me away I grabbed her hand and showed her the vision. I would never be taken away, and I would stay with her for the rest of my life, defending myself against anyone who tried to take me away.

The vision abruptly ended, and Amelie's eyes turned deep red and held me against the wall, by my throat. "No more visions. You're trying my patience, which at the moment is very thin. Do as I advised, and leave me alone." She dropped me and I gasped for air.

"You're just afraid of feeling again. You don't see it, but I do. There's nothing to worry about."

"Get out, before I think of a punishment for knocking out everyone."

I got up. "You will see." I left the office and closed the door. Everyone was already awake and Claire and Michael were nowhere to be seen.

Review! I plan on finishing in a few chapters so the updates will begin again!
