"This is Total Drama Switcheroni!" Chef announced.

"And what an episode this will be!" Blaineley announced. "We're down to three, and this will be our final immunity challenge. Two out of Caleb, Skye, and Jacquie will be making it to the final face off while one will fall short."

"Last time, Sharidan left the game after failing to turn Caleb and Jacquie against each other," Chef said, "will one of them come to regret this decision? Or will it be wide-eyed optimist, Skye, who takes the fall?"

"Well it all boils down to this point," Blaineley said. "So be sure to keep watching Total…Drama…Switcheroni!"

The final three all sat together on the beach. They simply enjoyed the waves as they washed along the sand.

"Well, guys, we did it," Caleb said. "We made it this far and there's not much more that even needs to be said."

"True that," Jacquie said. "It's really just going to come down to that final challenge. There's something oddly settling about that."

"It is nice," Skye agreed. "Nothing to do but enjoy the time together."

"It's been quite the experience, you two," Caleb said. "It's sad to think that it's coming to an end."

"Hm, there are some parts I'd rather forget," Jacquie remarked. "But overall, I'm glad to have been a part of this."

"Me too!" Skye exclaimed. "And when it's all over you're both invited to my victory party!"

"Lucky us," Jacquie remarked.

Confessional:

Caleb-It's nice to just take a moment and breathe. We're in the final 3 now, we're pretty much at the end. All that's left to do is finish these last couple challenges. Obviously I'm still going to give it my all, but these two girls…well they've been loyal and good allies at least. There have been bad times, but we've come through them all and I can easily say that I am quite happy with the final 3 that we have.

Jacquie-There's no way to make this round confusing or complicated, it simply comes down to immunity. Whoever wins that holds the final vote and the decision is entirely in their hands. I'm going to have to try my best to win because I don't know if either of these two would take me to the end; this is the point where there's really only one way to be sure.

Skye-I'm here at the final 3 can you believe it!? I always knew that this would happen because I just believed in myself! Now all that's left to do it make it to the end and win! Choo choo, all aboard the Skye Train!

(Later)

The final three all stood below the flagpole.

"Welcome, Skye, Caleb, and Jacquie," Chef greeted. "It's time to decide which of you will be moving on to the final round and which two will be vulnerable to leave."

"Take a look at the flags," Blaineley said. "Reality and Immunity. You'll be fighting hard for this spot in the finals."

"This challenge though is going to be a little…different," Chef said.

"Different? How?" Jacquie asked.

"Like this!" Blaineley exclaimed as she pressed a button.

Suddenly purple gas appeared and engulfed the final three. All of them collapsed into a pile on top of each other.

(Later)

When the three came two it was dark night. They got up and found themselves in unfamiliar territory.

"What happened?" Jacquie groaned as she held her head.

"Is this our challenge?" Caleb said. "Where are we?"

"And what happened to the sun!?" Skye exclaimed. "It was morning just a minute ago."

"Unless we've been out cold the entire day," Jacquie pointed out.

"Attention final three!" Blaineley voice resonated over them. "This is your final immunity challenge! You have been dropped on a nearby island…although this one has been filled with a menagerie of very…interesting and very vicious creatures."

"If you'll look to your left you'll find packs containing maps, lanterns, and a small amount of food," Chef said. "That's all you'll have to get out of here."

"The first person who makes it to the marked spot on the map will find a lifeboat at the shore," Blaineley said. "They will win immunity and cast the sole vote at the elimination. Well, what are you waiting for? Get to it!"

The three each grabbed a pack and slung it over their backs. Skye looked uneasily out at the dark forest.

"Oh this is scary," she whimpered as she clung Caleb's arm. "Protect me!"

"Well, you two losers can waste time," Jacquie said, "but I'm winning this."

Jacquie took off running into the wildness. She only took a few steps before trying over a vine and stumbling down a hidden slope.

"Ow, oh, oof, oh, ow, ouch!" She cried as she kept on tumbling down to hill and hitting nearly every part of her body.

Confessional:

Skye-Oh em gee, this challenge is just terrifying! What if there are lions and tigers and bears out there!? Oh my!

Jacquie-So this challenge…well I'll give you credit, you're going to make us work to earn our spots at the end. I will not let anything stop me, though, this is not the time to hold back!

Caleb-I think I can manage this. Sure, this is a bit more extreme than what I'm used to dealing with, but I just have to keep calm and I'll be able to figure this out easily enough.

Skye continued to cling to Caleb as they walked through the dark forest together.

"Just stay calm," Caleb told her. "I'm right here, we'll just follow the map. It'll be fine."

The two of them heard a low growl that seemed to grow closer. Skye tightened her grip on Caleb's arm.

"Still think it's fine…?" Skye asked.

"It's…probably nothing…" Caleb said with no conviction.

The growling sounded incredibly close now. The two saw several beastlike silhouettes move around them.

"That's definitely not nothing," Caleb said now with worry.

A pack of drooling wolves stepped out of the darkness. The beasts snapped ferociously at the duo.

"Noooo!" Skye cried as she shoved Caleb forward. "You deal with them, I'm getting out of here!"

Skye bolted desperately into the darkness. She swatted aside hanging vines and leapt over overgrown roots. Eventually she came to a tree and began to climb to get herself safely out of harm's reach.

"They can't get me up here," she sighed in relief.

However, she turned around to find a monstrously large spider waiting for her. Her face went ghost white.

Confessional:

Caleb-For someone who claims she'd do anything for me, Skye sure has a funny way of showing it.

Skye-Let me off, let me off, let me OOOOOOFFFFFFF!

Jacquie had gotten up and dusted herself off. She looked around but all she saw was trees and overgrown brambles. She pulled out her map and lantern and began to investigate.

"Let's see..I started here…but then fell down to the…West?" she said while tilting the map. "Or North? North-West? There's no sign of hills here….unless…"

She heard the sound of light footsteps and instantly silenced herself. She began to creep on all fours through some shrubs. She could hear something stalking her from behind. It occurred to her that she still had her lantern on and she quickly turned it off. She was submerged entirely in darkness. She could still hear some animal roaming the area. She risked getting up and starting to slowly move away. However, after a few more steps, the ground crumbled away under her and she slid down a chute shaped pit.

Confessional:

Jacquie-Okay, so clearly this island doesn't want to make this easy.

Caleb glanced around at the hungry wolves surrounding him.

"Okay, nice doggies," he said uneasily.

One of them barked angrily at him.

"Let's just…uh…take this easy," Caleb said as he backed up.

Before he could make his breakaway, one of the wolves lunged at him. Caleb quickly grabbed a large stick and used it to hold the wolf back. He swung the stick and smacked the wolf in the face. As it was momentarily stunned, Caleb ran past it. The other wolves hunted after him though.

"Great," Caleb groaned as he saw them very quickly gaining on him.

Caleb spotted a cliff a short distance away.

"Here goes nothing!" he said as he ran for it.

Just as the wolves were about to pounce on him, Caleb threw himself over the cliff and hoped for the best. His prayers were answered when he splashed into a river.

Confessional:

Caleb-Why do I get the feeling that this isn't even the worst you have planned for us?

Skye had been brought up to a vast spider web. Her arachnid captor had tied her tightly in a woven cocoon.

"Please, don't eat me!" Skye cried. "I promise I'd taste terrible! I'm very unhealthy!"

The spider hissed at her and she silenced. Skye waited for the spider to turn around again, then wiggled herself forward. She hopped out of the web and flopped to the ground. The spider turned around to see this and scurried after her. Skye had to hop her way through the woods awkwardly. The spider stayed on her tail eagerly, she dared not look back.

"Aaie!" she cried as she came to a hidden drop.

She didn't have time to stop, though, and rolled right over the edge.

"Mooooommmmmyyyy!" she cried as she fell.

However, a thread from her cocoon had snagged and unraveled, gently catching her just before she hit the ground.

"Oh," she sighed in relief as she walked out freely.

Confessional:

Skye-This is the last time I am believe that age old lie that 'spiders are our friends!'

Jacquie groaned and looked around at her surroundings. She had landed in an underground cavern and it seemed like she wasn't going to be able to climb back up the way she came.

"Okay, let's just say where this takes me," she remarked as she walked through the dirt tunnels.

She wandered deeper in, searching for another way out. She was soon engulfed in darkness, but spotted a bit of light trickling it. She moved towards this source and found that there was another opening. It was up out of her reach though. She tried jumping up but couldn't grasp it. She began to feel the side of the wall for anything that she could use to help her climb up. She found what felt like a vine and clutched on to it. Then the 'vine' began to move and hiss at her. She realized she was holding a snake.

"Aah!" she cried as she let got and leapt back.

The snake, though, had been angered and was slithering towards her. Jacquie cried out and desperately felt around the ground for anything else she could use to fight off the snake. She clutched a rock and began to bang it against the snake's head. One the serpent had retreated she let out a sigh of relief.

"Now," she said, "to get out of here."

Confessional:

Jacquie-I've got no idea where I am now. I need to get back up to the surface and try to orient myself if I'm going to have a chance to get back on track.

Caleb was washed through the river. Eventually he was able to grab on to a rock and steady himself. From there he pulled himself up and climbed back to the surface. He pulled out his lantern and map only to find that the river had completely ruined the map.

"Splendid," he sighed.

He took a look around and began trying to plot his root.

"Let's see if I can do this by memory?" he said to himself. "I was heading towards the X when I was walking in…"

He turned and pointed.

"That direction," he declared. "…I think?"

He glanced around again.

"Well, no better option," he shrugged as he began to walk forward.

After walking a short distance he felt his legs sink down into the ground.

"Ugh," he groaned as he realized he had stepped into a swamp.

The mud clung to his legs and refused to let go. He could feel himself being sucked down into the earth. To make matters worse he heard something moving in the shadows. He looked forward and realized something big was coming towards him. He began struggling harder against the swamp. He tore one leg free. He grabbed the other and pulled himself out, stumbling backwards onto the solid ground. Just in time, to see an alligator surface and snap at where he had been trapped.

"Way too close," he shuddered.

Confessional:

Caleb-Without a map I'm pretty much blind, for all I know I could be heading in the opposite direction. My best bet is just to look for one of the others and follow them.

Skye nervously wandered through a rocky terrain. She trembled at any noise and frequently tried to hide herself behind any form of protection she could find. She saw a cave ahead of her and could hear a low breathing coming from it. She stopped instantly and held her breath. She glanced around nervously. Then took a tentative step forward. Suddenly, a lion leapt out of the cave. Skye tried to move, but the beast soon had her pinned to the ground.

"Uhhh…hi?" Skye said meekly. "You wouldn't happen to be a nice lion who's going to let me go?"

The lion roared in her face before picking her up from the back of her outfit and dragging her into the cave.

Confessional:

Skye-So now a lion wants me for dinner…forget immunity, I just want to get out of here alive!

Jacquie was still trying to find a way out of the pit she was trapped in. She continued to search for anything that could be used to get herself up. She felt another strip, but made sure it wasn't a snake before going any further. Once she had safely confirmed that it was indeed a root, she pulled herself up until she reached the opening. She grabbed the edge and pulled herself through. Soon she was back up on the surface.

"Alright, now where am I?" she said as she pulled out her map. "Hm….hmmmm…"

She looked back and forth from her map to the surroundings.

"Aha!" she exclaimed while matching up a landmark with her position. "Now we're talking."

She followed her path towards where the shore was meant to be. As she made her way through the thick brambles, she heard something coming up behind her again. She clenched her teeth and picked up the pace. She could heard it closing in on her though. She grabbed a stick and jabbed it backwards. And hand caught it though.

"Caleb?" Jacquie said in surprise.

"That's me," Caleb said.

"What are you doing sneaky up on me like that?" Jacquie asked.

"I lost my map," Caleb said. "Saw you and thought I'd be better off following."

"Oh well…don't expect me to share my map," Jacquie said as she instantly closed her map.

She then kept marching forward, but Caleb followed behind her.

"That's fine," he said, "we're both going the same way. Just comes down to which one of us is a faster runner."

Jacquie made a sour face.

"Do you hear that?" Caleb asked.

Jacquie paused to listen.

"Is that…buzzing?" Jacquie said.

Suddenly several gigantic hornets descended out of the trees. They looked very angry to see their new company.

"You have got to be kidding me," Jacquie groaned.

The two of them immediately took off running in the opposite direction as the hornets swarmed after them.

Confessional:

Caleb-I've just got to stick with Jacquie, and then pull ahead once we see the finish. There's nothing she can do to stop me, and it's my best shot at winning.

Jacquie-Does Caleb really think he can just leech a win off of me? I've just got to ditch him before we make it to the end.

Skye had been brought into a cave and placed in a corner by her lion captor. It glared at her then turned around and seemed to go to sleep. Skye carefully got up and began to tiptoe past the lion. She had only take two steps when the lion instantly awoke and pinned her down again, giving an angry roar to her face.

"Okay, okay, I'll stay!" Skye promised.

The lion nodded and went back to sleep. Skye stretched her leg out, the lion cracked and eye open and she retracted it.

"I'll just uh…get comfortable," Skye said.

Confessional:

Skye-So uh…looks like I've got a new roommate for the time being.

Caleb and Jacquie were running desperately away from their insectoid pursuers. Caleb leapt over rocks and Jacquie dipped under branches. Neither of them slowed down. Eventually both stopped to catch their breath. Caleb leaned against a tree while Jacquie slumped over a rock.

"Hey, you hear that?" Caleb asked.

"The last time you asked that we got attacked by a horde of killer bees," Jacquie said, "so maybe we just shouldn't ask."

"It sounds like…waves," Caleb said.

"Wait then…that means…" Jacquie said.

Both of them realized the implications and ran towards the source of the sound. They soon cleared the forest and wound up at the beach. Caleb pulled ahead and spotted the life raft at the end of the bay. He ran straight for it. Jacquie was not willing to give up though and followed right behind him. Both of them were closing in on it. Just at the last second, Jacquie gave a final push and leapt for the life boat landing right inside.

"I did it, I won!" she announced. "I won!"

"Congratulations, Jacquie!" Blaineley announced. "You have earned your place in the final 2 and will be fighting for the grand prize."

"And," Chef said, "you will be making the big decision of who you will take with you and face off against. Skye, Caleb, get ready because Jacquie is sending one of you home."

Confessional:

Jacquie-Aaaaaaaah (jazz hands) I did it! It's all led up to this! I am in the final 2, there is no stopping me now! It's finally all coming together!

Caleb-Damn…I was so close and I really think I could have used this. Well, it's in Jacquie's hands now…I guess the one upside is this time it's not going to be blood on my hands, I don't envy having to make that call.

Skye-Oooooh nooooooo! I failed! I am a FAILURE! (sobs) There's only one thing to do! I MUST get into the final 2 and win it all! It's the only acceptable option left!

(Team Mintnificent)

"Well, Jacquie," Caleb said as he walked up to the girl, "congratulations. You've earned this and it must feel good."

"I'd be lying if I said otherwise," Jacquie remarked.

"So look…well, I'm really hoping that you have reason to keep me," Caleb said, "but…you're a smart girl, I know you're probably already thinking hard about this. I don't want to insult your intelligence, so I'll just say, it would mean the world to me to get the chance to finish this game together."

"Thank you, Caleb," Jacquie said. "I'm really going to have to think, believe me, I am treating this decision seriously."

Jacquie didn't have to wait long before Skye ran up to her and pulled her into a tight embrace.

"Uh…hi, Skye," Jacquie said.

"Jacquie! Have I ever told you that you're my bestest friend in the whole wide world?" Skye said. "And bestest friends take each other to the final 2. That's just what makes us such good friends!"

"Uh…no, you hadn't told me that," Jacquie said, "but thanks for the heads up, it's good to know."

Confessional:

Jacquie-Ugh, I mean…on paper this decision is cut and dry. Caleb would be hard to beat, he was hard enough to beat tonight…Skye, she's a useless sack of nails, she only won one immunity out of luck. But…well…Caleb's stuck his neck out for me so many times…I can't help feel kind of…bad repaying him with betrayal. What is this? A conscience? I never had this problem before the game.

Caleb-Honestly, if Jacquie voted me out I couldn't even blame her, there's just not a lot of arguments for me right now and we both know it. My only hope is that she feels a little bit of loyalty and enough respect to be willing to give me the chance. Yes, it's for a million dollars, but I think the two of us really would make the most worthy final 2 out of the current options.

Skye-Jacquie just HAS to pick me! I've been nothing but nice to her all this time! I don't know how she could ever even consider any other alternative. I've been her only friend all this time. Thick and thin, all storms we faced them together, and now we will face the end together like true companions do! (sobs)

(Elimination)

"Final 3," Chef stated as Jacquie, Caleb, and Skye sat down, "That's a big one. And it's soon to be Final 2 after tonight."

The wind picked up, adding an ominous feel. The three contestants shivered as the cold washed over them.

"So, this is the final decision," Blaineley stated. "Skye, Caleb, you will not vote, Jacquie has the deciding voting and she will be sending one of you out just before the finale."

"Jacquie, a lot must be going through your head," Chef said.

"You have no idea," Jacquie sighed. "Caleb, Skye, I'm going to ask both of you to not plead your case. Believe me, I've run this through my head time after time. I've come up with every possible offer you could make me…some that probably didn't even occur to you. I've compared every single scenario. There's nothing that you can say to me at this point, I've just got to make this decision myself."

Caleb and Skye nodded.

"Alright then, Jacquie," Blaineley said, "if you're ready to get this over with then come on up and cast your vote."

Jacquie nodded and got up.

"Good luck, you two," she said as she walked to the voting station.

(Later)

"We have the sole vote cast tonight," Chef said, "it only take one torch to end your game now."

"Jacquie's vote," Blaineley read, "final person officially voted out of the game and leaving us in third place…"

"Skye!"

"Wha…wha…" Skye gasped as her mouth hung agape.

"Skye," Chef said, "time for you to go."

"But I…but…but…" Skye whimpered. "But I was supposed to win."

"I said, time to go," Chef said as he dragged Skye to the boat of losers.

"Thank you," Caleb whispered to Jacquie.

"Hey, I wouldn't be here without your idol," Jacquie pointed out. "It's the least I could do."

"Well then," Blaineley said, "Congratulations, Jacquie, Caleb, the two of you have survived every elimination. You are the final 2 of Total Drama Switcheroni! Tomorrow comes the moment of truth. One of you will be crowned a winner and the other will walk away with nothing. All your hard work, it all comes down to this one final challenge. Good luck, and I will see the two of you for the big finale tomorrow."

Jacquie nodded at Caleb who gave her a smile in return. The two got up and returned to their camp.

Vote:

Jacquie-…I vote for…Skye. Sorry, but I just can't bring myself to Caleb after how long he's stood by me. It's a risk, but I owe him that much. Also, Skye, you just annoy me, sorry not sorry.

(Conclusion)

"So in the end it is Caleb and Jacquie who will make it to the end," Chef said, "Both of them have been fighting for this moment, and now it's finally here."

"It's going to be a showdown to watch," Blaineley said. "One whole season and it all comes down to this. Who will be crowned the winner of Total Drama Switcheroni?! Jacquie!? Caleb!? The most important moment of their lives is coming up so you don't want to miss the grand finale of…Total…Drama…Switcheroni!"

Final 2:

Caleb

Jacquie

Eliminated: Loren, Hilary, Roy, Cerise, Theodore, Noriko, Irene, Sebastian, Strike, Rudy, Lynne, Jodi, Orchid, Reuvan, Neil, Allen, Sharidan, Skye

Author's Note: And last but certainly not least, Skye rounds out our eliminations. With Skye I don't think there was any middle ground, people either adored her or despised with with a burning passion. For me, though, Skye was always the big comic relief character of the season, she was one of those characters I loved writing for because I didn't have to plan dialogue, I just wrote and all her crazy lines flowed naturally. With a merge full of developmental arcs and massive villains, I wanted one character to just break the tension and be randomly out of it and fun. The notion behind Skye was that she was entirely existing in her own world, yet despite all logic, it was always others who would face the consequences of her actions. Some people compared her to Missy, which I could see, but I think the key difference being that Missy was a story of being pushed over the edge by her own set of morals, while Skye was quite simply unhinged enough to swing between rage and adoration based on any actions. She was fun, I quite enjoyed her, but no, she is not winning.

Speaking of...Final 2 everyone! aAAAAAAHHHHH! Get excited this series is one episode away from being my seventh completed season! Woohoo!
