Hanna is busy doing some paper works that is originally Spencer's duty but she volunteered to do it for her because she is still on her leave after she gave birth to her first child Amber. She arranged schedules and finalized contracts all morning. She also met some clients and get back doing more paper works in her office.
She was halfway through typing out a contract when she heard a light knock on her door. She gets up from her swivel chair and stretched a little and walked to the door to open it.
Her eyes lit up and her lips curved in a smile automatically upon seeing her boyfriend standing behind her office door as she opened it up.
"Hey, Princess." Caleb greeted smiling matching her wide smile.
"Hi, What are you doing here?" Hanna said.
"Just wanted to surprise you and bring you lunch." Caleb said raising a bag of Chinese take out.
"How sweet of you?" Hanna teased smiling.
"The last thing a guy wants a girl to describe him is sweet." Caleb said.
"Well, you're sweet and I'm so lucky." Hanna said leaning in to kiss him. It was a sweet lingering kiss, they both pulled away after a few seconds smiling at each other.
"So, are you busy?" Caleb asked as they walked inside Hanna's office.
"Unfortunately, Yes. I'm terribly busy right now doing some paper works for Spencer." Hanna said as she sat on the couch pushed through the wall near the door.
"I could give you a back rub." Caleb said smiling as he sat next to her putting down the take out bag in the coffee table.
"I love that." Hanna said smiling.
"But before that, let's eat I'm starving." Caleb said rummaging through the take out bag.
"Great idea." Hanna said.
They eat lunch together talking about random things and laughing every once in a while enjoying each others company.
"Can you come with me to pick out a gift for Carter for his birthday?" Caleb asked while they clean up after they ate lunch.
"Sure, when?" Hanna said as she put away the last of the take out container in a trash bin.
"Maybe now," Caleb said.
"I still got things to do but maybe I can do that later." Hanna said smiling at him.
"Thank You, it is the first time that I'm gonna be with Carter for his birthday and I really wanted it to be special." Caleb said.
"Well, I think being with you for his birthday is enough to make him happy. Carter is not really a materialistic type of kid. You spending time with him already makes him happy, having you around is enough, having you as his dad is enough. Little things made him happy and that's one of a billion things I love about our son." Hanna said.
"Well, being with him made me happy too." Caleb said smiling.
"So, do you already have any idea what to get him for his birthday?" Hanna asked.
"Honestly, I don't know. That is why I am asking you to come with me." Caleb said putting one arm on her shoulders.
Hanna looked at Caleb's arm on her shoulder and smiled. "You just reminded me that you owe me a back rub." Hanna said with a chuckle.
"Right," Caleb said with a smile putting his hands in either side of Hanna's shoulders and start massaging her. Hanna closed her eyes and cracked her neck a little. Caleb leaned in and kissed her exposed neck. She smiled as he trailed kisses to her neck up to her earlobe.
"It tickles," Hanna said smiling. She turned to look at him.
"You're not laughing." Caleb said looking into her eyes smiling.
"You know what, we got gift shopping to do so I suggest we should leave now." Hanna said standing up from the couch. She went to her table to get her bag.
"Great idea, we should better go before I can't stop myself from taking you right here right now." Caleb said with a sexy smirk walking towards her.
Hanna smiled at him their eyes locked for a moment lost in each others gaze. "I don't mind," Hanna teased with a playful smile plastered on her face.
"But we've got things to do so we better go." Hanna added with a chuckle walking past him to the door.
"You're lucky I love you." Caleb said with a lip bite following behind her.
"I love you too." Hanna said as she continued to walk out of the boutique.
Caleb smiled widely loving the sound of those words coming out from her mouth. She doesn't often say it and he always crave hearing it.
Hanna and Caleb strolled through the aisles in the toy store looking at some toys that their son might like.
"Transformers or Avengers?" Caleb asked Hanna as he raised to different action figures in his hand.
"Carter both like them." Hanna said.
"Let's buy both then." Caleb said.
"No, I got a better idea." Hanna said.
"What?" Caleb asked.
"Why don't we buy him a bike?" Hanna suggested.
"Great idea, I remembered him wanting to learn how to ride it." Caleb said.
"Yeah, he wanted to learn how to ride a bike so badly." Hanna said.
"Let's get him a bike and let's get him these too." Caleb said taking the action figures.
"You're spoiling him too much." Hanna said.
"He's my son and I really wanted to make up for the lost time that I should be there for him." Caleb said sincerely.
"I'm sorry, it's all my fault. I should've tell you sooner when I found out that we're having a baby. I should've let you explain, I shouldn't conclude easily when I saw you with Olivia. I should've trust you. I should've known better. I'm so stupid." Hanna said with full of regret.
"Shhh... Hey, it's not your fault. It's nobody's fault. We were young and we've made lot of bad decisions but at least we've learned from all of it. I don't regret everything that has happened because if it weren't for it we won't be where we are right now. I'm so happy and contented right now that I have you and Carter in my life and I won't trade that for anything in this world." Caleb said sincerely putting his arm around Hanna's waist and kissing her forehead.
"How can you be so talented in making me feel better?" Hanna said with a contented smile as she wrapped her arms her boyfriend and buried her face in his chest taking in his scent.
"I guess it comes out naturally." Caleb said hugging her tightly.
