Raph, Donnie and the remaining girls awaited the return of their friends. Nothing had been said between them. Instead, everyone had positioned themselves dotted around the beds, listening for any sign of return.

A band of chatter and laughs finally reached their ears, awakening them from their half-trances. The door opened to reveal Mikey and Leo, behind them, Isabel and a boy.

Isabel stepped forward. "Guys, this is my twin brother, Jonathan, or Johnny."

"Hi." Johnny nervously said.

April got up. "Hi. I'm April, Isabel's friend."

"I'm Jack." Jack stated as she got up.

"I'm Scarlett." Scarlett introduced, rising like the others.

Donnie and Raph got up at the same time. "I'm Donnie." The younger introduced.

"Raph." The elder said with a nod of his head. "We're brothers of chuckles and fearless 'ere."

Johnny turned to face Leo and Mikey. "You weren't kidding about being part of quadruplet boys."

Mikey shook his head. "Nope."

"Man, your life must have been manic." Johnny commented.

"You could say that." Leo said with a slightly sad smile.

"So are you coming to school here?" Donnie asked, trying to pull the unwanted attention away from their life.

Johnny turned around. "Yeah. We talked with Yoshi, and I'll be with Isabel."

"That's great." April said with a smile.

A gong sounded in the distance, producing 3 bangs that echoed around the school.

"3 bangs means the dojo." Scarlett pointed out.

Another 5 bangs.

"An' tha' means Y unit and M unit." Raph stated. "We be'r get goin'."

Everyone else agreed, but spotted a very confused Jonathan.

"Can someone please explain this to me?" He asked.

"When they bang the gong, depending on how many times it sounds means what happens." Leo explained.

"Ahh..." Johnny said, now understanding. "Makes sense."

"But Raph's right, we don't want to be late." Mikey pointed out, to which everyone nodded.

~Scarlett~

The now 9 friends sat down together in the dojo. No one seemed to have the faintest idea what was going on, neither from Y unit nor M.

Yoshi walked out in front of everyone. He clapped his hands to silence the small amount of chatter.

"Today I have organised a hand to hand combat competition between Y unit and M unit, to help you practice fighting someone with different skills to you." Yoshi explained. "I have paired you up randomly, a Y unit against a M unit. Firstly, Isaac and Jacqueline."

Jack sighed and got up. She faced a boy, only a couple more centimetres above her. He was one of the more mellower boys from the middle unit. Jack, however, wasn't.

"Hajamai!"

Jack threw the first punch. It hit Isaac in the jaw, sending him back a few paces. He ran at her, arm ready to knock her down, but she front-flipped over him, landing crouched. She spun on her foot, knocking him down just like Leo had her in their training, before he asked her to the Ball. She flashed him a small smile for a second, which he returned.

"Yame! Victor-Jacqueline." Yoshi announced as if it wasn't obvious. "Next, Alex and Donatello."

Scarlett frowned. She remembered Alex from her first fight, in the early morning training she joined Leo in on her first day. He wasn't very forgiving when she won, guessed from the fact that he threw his knife at her during breakfast, which she had luckily caught. The boy had a temper. Donatello didn't.

Donnie got up nervously. He knew about Alex and his temper, but knew better than to refuse to fight. He would be ridiculed for days, never treated the same again. He stood across from Alex, who smirked down at him. Donnie, despite being tall for his age, was still much shorter than Alex, only coming up to his shoulder.

"Hajamai!"

Alex threw his foot at Donnie as soon as the word was said. He just managed to dodge it in time before Alex threw another kick. Donnie dodged it, along with the next ones that followed. Alex was growing increasingly angry until he snapped. He grabbed Donnie by the collar and hit him in the mouth. Donnie fell to the floor, clutching his jaw, groaning quite loudly. His brothers ran over.

"Donnie, are you ok?" Leo asked nervously.

"Can ya speak Don?" Raph questioned.

Donnie got up slowly. He spat into his hand. Blood was in it, along with his front tooth.

The class gasped, except for Alex, who only laughed. Donnie calmly walked over to a nearby table, took out a tissue and wrapped his tooth in it. He placed it in his pocket before walking back over and getting into another starting position.

"Donnie, you can't continue! You just got your tooth knocked out!" Mikey exclaimed.

"More the reason to continue." Donnie stated. "I'm gonna teach Alex not to mess with Donatello Doe."

His brothers exchanged nervous glances. They saw something in Donnie's eyes, something dark, and they didn't like it one bit.

Alex ran at Donnie, who slid between his legs. During the second of confusion, Donnie roundhouse kicked Alex. Alex tumbled back a few paces before growling at the boy. Donnie stood still. Alex ran forward again, just to be met with Donnie's foot in his chest. He fell to the ground with a thud.

"Can I go see the nurse, Sensei?" Donnie finally asked.

"Yes Donatello." Yoshi replied.

Donnie walked out, his hand clutching the tissue with his tooth inside.
