Morgan groaned as his phone alarm went off. He turned it off only to turn over.

"Morgan… come on Morgan get up." A quiet voice said next to Morgan.

Morgan mumbled something under his breath but didn't move. A shove to his shoulder did however. Morgan flipped over and tiredly looked at the perpetrator. Reid sat there looking at Morgan with pleading eyes.

"Come on Morgan. I want to go back to the hospital." Reid said in an almost pleading tone. Morgan sighed as Reid gave him puppy eyes.

"Alright Reid. Let me get dressed." Morgan said sliding out from under the covers. Reid stayed where he was on the bed as Morgan got dressed and ready to go.

In no time at all, they were walking out the door. Reid was quiet the entire drive. Morgan parked as close as he could to hospital entrance. Reid unbuckled and was out of the SUV before Morgan had the key out of the ignition. Morgan shook his head following Reid. They didn't stop at the nurse's station when they reached the floor they had been on yesterday. They went straight to Emma's room. Reid was a few paces ahead of Morgan when he saw Reid stop mid-stride going pale.

"Reid?" Morgan asked quickly going to him. Reid didn't blink when Morgan touched his elbow. Instead he just stared at the room they had been heading to. Morgan pulled his worried gaze from Reid to the room feeling his gut drop at the sight. The room was empty except for one nurse who was replacing the bed sheets.

"Stay here." Morgan told Reid softly. Reid gave him a tiny nod. Morgan knocked on the doorframe getting the nurses attention. The nurse looked up at him.

"Can you tell me where the patient that was in here yesterday is?" Morgan asked flashing his badge. The nurse smiled at him.

"She was moved to the next floor. Room 373 I believe." The nurse told Morgan going back to the bed sheets.

"Thank you." Morgan said returning to Reid. Reid watched him approach with wide eyes.

"Room 373 on the next floor." Morgan said gently grabbing Reid's elbow, leading him to the stairs. This time when they got to the next floor, Reid stayed slightly behind Morgan. Room 373 was at the very end of the hall. Morgan heard Reid take a deep breath to brace himself. Morgan quietly opened the door and stepped in first.

Rossi looked up from the book he was reading to the door opening. He smiled when he saw who it was.

"About time you two got here." Rossi said chuckling. Morgan raised an eyebrow while Reid looked at Rossi confused. Rossi saw Reid's expression and gestured to the bed. Reid slipped past Morgan so he could see. Emma and Hotch had cards out on the bed with piles of skittles as bet. Both had a few cards in their hands.

Reid gasped and rushed to the bed while Morgan gaped. Emma's face broke out into a giant grin. Reid reached Emma and gave her a hug. Emma hugged him back. When they released each other Emma looked at Morgan with a smile. Morgan closed his mouth smiling.

Emma signed to Reid. Reid grinned while Hotch groaned kiddingly. "Sure I would love to play." Reid said as Hotch gathered the cards to shuffle them. Morgan found another chair and pulled it sitting next to Rossi.

"When did she wake?" Morgan asked as Hotch began dealing out the cards.

"Last night. Scared the hell out of the both of us. Set the alarms off and had the whole floor rushing to her room." Rossi said laughing at the memory.

Morgan grinned. "Figures." He said as the card game began.

It only took a few turns before Reid stared cleaning out. Surprisingly enough though, was Emma was holding her own against Reid. Rossi put his book down as he and Morgan watched the card game. Four more turns and Hotch was out of skittles. Then it was just Emma and Reid playing against one another. They played turn after turn after turn with neither gaining or loosing. Reid's brow furrowed as he tried to figure out just how this game was still going while Emma just continued to smile.

After a couple more turns Rossi caught Emma's attention. "Emma, think you can do me a favor?" Rossi asked leaning forward. Emma nodded her head.

"Kick Reid's genius behind." Rossi said with a wink and smirk. Emma grinned while Reid gave Rossi a hurt look. Hotch and Morgan laughed at Reid's expression. Emma played her cards distracting Reid from the glares he was about to give.

Three more turns and everyone was looking at Emma shocked. Reid's skittle pile that had been huge ever since he took all of Hotch's, was now down to barely a fourth of what it had been. Reid kept looking from his cards, to Emma's, to the dealt and shuffled piles. Emma popped a skittle in her mouth as she waited for Reid to play his cards. Confused Reid played his cards. Emma displayed hers beating him again. Now Reid had a perplexed look on his face and all the men were quietly chuckling. Reid was down to five skittles now.

Hotch dealt the cards again and sat back. Emma glanced at her cards only to look up and watch Reid. Reid must have gotten a really good hand as Morgan noticed a tiny change in his demeanor. Reid took a chance and put all his skittles in.

Emma frowned. She glanced at her cards again before studying Reid. Morgan knew Reid had his poker face on so he wasn't surprised when Emma put all her skittles in probably thinking Reid was bluffing. Reid played his cards. It was the second best hand anyone could get. Reid smiled as Emma looked at Reid's cards stunned. After a second Emma shrugged and played her cards. Everyone gaped.

There was only one possible hand that could have beaten Reid and Emma had it. Everyone in the room laughed at Reid's expression.

"How?" Reid asked looking at Emma. Emma gave Reid a huge smile signing. Hotch laughed and Reid smirked.

"She says Reid isn't the only one that can count cards." Hotch translated for Morgan and Rossi.

"That a girl!" Rossi said laughing and getting up to give Emma a high five. That left everyone laughing.
