Gale picks me up and my mom grabs my bag. "To my hospital." My mom and Prim taught a few others some things and a few of mom's friends joined her that know things she doesn't. They call it their hospital.

Gale takes off in a quick walk and I laugh. "Relax." He smiles a little and slows down some. We arrive at the building and my mom takes off ahead of us and Gale follows her into a room and lays me on a bed. "I will go get my friend sweetie." I nod and get up walking into the bathroom and change into the gown.

I walk back out and Gale helps me back onto the bed. He sits down next to me and sighs. "Do you want me to call him?" I shake my head and lean back. I hear the door open and open my eyes and see my mom and her friend from the house before. "Hi Katniss. I am going to put this IV in and I then I am going to check you." I nod and feel a pain as needle goes in and then I sigh as she hooks me to some fluids. She moves and pulls a stool to her and sits down and puts a blanket over my legs and places my legs where she needs them and starts to see how far along I am.

Placing my legs back down she smiles, "Relax and maybe take a nap. It is going to be awhile." I nod and lean back closing my eyes letting the noise and lights drift away.

I wake with a jolt and sit up in a pain. "Just breathe." I do and soon the pain is gone. I look around and see only Gale in the room with me. "Where is everyone?" He shrugs, "You mom and Prim went somewhere with their friend. A lady came in a checked your paper a little while ago." I nod and lay down about to take a nap when I pain hits again. "AHH." "Breathe." I lay back tired and see Gale smiling at me as I fall asleep.

I wake up in intense pain and see my mom's friend back. "Hey I was just about to wake you and tell you we can get started." I sit up and she places my legs where she needs them. "Scoot forward some." I do as told and my mom comes over and kisses my forehead, "Do you want me to stay?" I look around and smile, "You don't have to. You and Prim, go get something to eat." She nods and squeezes my hand before leaving. Gale comes over and looks at me then the wall, "Do you uh…" I grab his hand, "Will you stay?" He looks down and smiles before nodding.

Another lady walks in and smiles, "We are ready." My mom's friend looks up at me from my legs and smiles, "Push on your next contraction." I nod and feel the pain and push. "okay, good stop." I lean back and breathe. "Again Katniss." I push again. "Okay, stop." I lean back again. "Again." I do as told for some more pushes and then I hear, "Okay, I got the head. One more good push and we should be good." I nod and wait and then hear her, "GO." I push and hear screams and smile as I lean back exhausted. I see the baby given to the other lady. "Is it a girl or boy?" She smiles and laughs, "Before that, I need you to push again." I do and she pats my leg, "Good girl. Relax."

I lean back and the baby is handed to me and I smile before they take it away again. I lean back tired and look over and see Gale smiling. "Sir, would you like to cut the cord?" I nod and he walks away as I close my eyes.

I feel a kiss on my forehead and I open my eyes to see Gale smiling at me. "Hey, how are you feeling?" I moan and he laughs, "That good huh." I smile a little and shake my head, "Not even close." He smiles and sits down in a chair beside me. When I look around I see my legs are down and under the blanket. "Where is the baby? What is it?" He smiles and I hear a knock.

The door opens and I see the lady carrying the baby in a white blanket and I smile. She comes over and places the baby in my hands, "She is beautiful." I look up surprised, "It is a girl?" She smiles and nods before walking out. I look at Gale and smile, "I have a daughter." He smiles and moves closer to stare at her, "She is gorgeous." I smile and wipe a tear, "This is amazing." He leans down and kisses my forehead, "She looks like you." I look down and back up at him, "You think so?" He nods.

I move over some and Gale sits on the bed and wraps his arm around me and watches her with me. "what are you going to name her?" I laugh, "I don't know." I hear a knock again and look up to see my mom poking her head in and then her and Prim are rushing in. "What is it?" I smile and look at Gale. "I have a daughter."

My mom and Prim squeal and come over looking at the baby. I hand her to my mom and watch her as she walks around and talks to her. I see her hand the baby to Prim and Prim smile big, "She is so cute." I smile and lean my head on Gale feeling tired again.

My mom comes over and hands the baby to Gale. "Honey, you did great. She is so cute and healthy. I love you. We are going to go so you can get some sleep." Smiling I hug them both and watch them go. I turn to Gale and smile, "Thank you so much for being here with me and doing all of this with me." He smiles at the baby then me, "I wouldn't be anywhere else even if you wanted me to be." I smile and fall asleep to him baby talking to my daughter.

I wake up later on that night feeling sore and tired but much better than before. I see a lady checking me and my IV and I smile. "Are you ready to fill out the papers." I look at Gale who is watching me and nod, "Yeah." She hands me the birth certificate and a little piece of water that has pink on it.

I look at the paper work and see everything is filled in but my signature, The dad's everything and the baby name. I smile and Sign the piece of paper. I look at Gale and write in the name I think would be good for my daughter.

I look at the paper work and smile as I read it. Gale Places the baby in my hand and I smile as I see the birth certificate and look into her beautiful blue eyes that are offset by her dark hair.

For once in my life everything seems right and I am happy. I have a beautiful daughter and me and my family don't have to worry about nothing anymore. Everything feels complete.

I hope you guys like it. I will be ending the story soon. I have about another chapter, maybe two and then I was going to do an epilogue. I loved this story but I feel like it needs to come to an end.
