Prompt Twenty-Three: Until
It was truly, all he could do not to whisk her away right then and there. Really, did she have no idea how she looked there so tempting and yet defiant?
"It's a piece of cake!"
Until she said that. Yes, she was alluring in simple defiance (something he had never seen before), but that was a poor choice of words. He nearly admonished her, but an idea came to mind, one that was much better and would benefit them both…eventually.
Keeping away certain thoughts involving minimal clothing, Jareth spoke.
"Oh really? Well, then how about upping the stakes?"
A/N: Another 100 word drabble. I think I'm improving at these, as I'm writing 25 of them for 'Snippets'.
