Poppy = 6 Months
Chapter 26 - Surprise Visitor
Poppy's POV - 10am - 1 week Later
I opened my eyes and turned to the left, and saw Niall was gone, I got up and walked to my chester draws and got out a pair of black shorts, matching bra & panties and one of Niall's red checkered button ups, and I put my blonde hair into a messy bun after I got dressed not bothering to fasten up the shirt and walked downstairs, I headed into the kitchen and smiled when I saw Niall in sweat pants and no shirt and whistling whilst he cooked, he looked up and smiled at me,
"Hey beautiful girl," He said and I smiled walking over to him and wrapping my arms around his waist from behind and leaned my head against his back and he chuckled turning down the fryer and turning round wrapping his arms around me, "Whats wrong?" He asked,
"The baby keeps kicking me in the ribs," I said and he sighed whiping an escaped tear away and leaning down to my stomach,
"Hey little one, stop kicking mama in the ribs because It's not nice, and daddy doesnt like seeing mummy in pain," He said and planted a kiss on my stomach and I smiled as the baby actually stopped,
"I cant believe that worked," I said and he smiled kissing me,
Jack's POV - 12pm
Making dinner for 12 people is extremely hard,
"Right, we'll be back later," Bella said walking down,
"Why where are you going?" I asked,
"Me, Kat, Nicole & Peyton are going out for something to eat with Maddy, Chels & Lola," She said as the girls walked downstairs and she held her hand out to me,
"What?" I asked,
"Money," She smirked and I rolled my eyes taking my wallet out of my pocket and handing $50 to her,
"I want change," I said and she nodded as they walked out, make that making sandwiches for 8,
"Right I'll be back before curfew," Troy said walking down,
"Where are you going?" I asked,
"Out with some friends, later," He said walking out and I sighed,
"Okay this one is fed," Kim said walking down with Robin and handed her to Nathan and walked over to me, "So, anything I can help with?" She asked, sitting on the counter,
"No, its all done, guys, your lunch," I said and they all came over to get there food and walked back into the living room, "And no thank you," I said sighing and looked at Kim and smiled, I leaned in and kissed her on the cheek, and she pouted pointing to her lips and I smiled giving her a kiss on the lips,
"Hmm, God Jack," She moaned as I kissed her neck,
"The kids are in the living room," I said,
"We have atleast 20 minutes until there done," She said and I quickly helped her of the counter and we ran upstairs to our room.
Niall's POV
Me & Pops were on the couch talking when someone knocked at the door,
"I'll get it." Poppy said buttoning up my shirt and walking out the living room, I carried on watching tv until I heard Poppy shout my name and I walked out,
"Yeah babe? Whats wrong?" I asked her not looking at who was at the door,
"Hi Ni," A familiar voice said and I froze for a moment before I turned and saw my ex girlfriend Britney King, I dated her at 17 for about 6 months,
"Britney! What the hell are you doing here?" I exclaimed annoyed, the reason we broke up was because I found out she had cheated on me with 3 other guys,
"Mama, where are we?" A small voice said and I looked down and saw a little girl with brown hair in pigtails and brown eyes,
"Who's this?" I asked a little calmer, she's only a kid after all,
"Niall, this is your daughter, Taylor King,"
Poppy's POV
"Does anyone want a drink? Britney? Taylor?" I asked,
"Water for both of us," Britney said looking at her nails,
"But mama, I want Juice-" Taylor said,
"No! Taylor I told you no Juice! Your only aloud water!" She exclaimed,
"Well would you like a cookie?" I asked Taylor who smiled,
"No! She isnt aloud Cookies, she has to watch her carbs!" Britney hissed and Taylor frowned and I walked out into the kitchen, I got a plastic cup and a glass cup and filled them with water,
"You okay?" Niall asked walking into the kitchen,
"Why wouldnt I be okay, I mean, my fiance's ex girlfriend appears with a little girl who is supposedly his daughter so as you can tell I have nothing to not be okay with," I said annoyed,
"Poppy, look I get how this looks, but there's no way that she's mine," He said,
"How do you know that?" I asked him,
"Because she's only 4yrs old, she said her birthday was last month, but the last time I saw Britney was just over 5yrs ago," He said and I shook my head,
"Niall, look and me, and tell me that there isnt even an ounce of you that believe she's your daughter," I said and he sighed, "Exactly," I said grabbing the drinks and walking into the living room, "Here you go," I said handing their drinks to them,
"So Britney, what do you want?" Niall asked,
"Taylor go take your toys and go over to the corner," Britney said,
"But mama," Taylor started,
"Now Taylor!" She yelled making both me & Taylor jump and Taylor's lip quivered, "Oh dont cry you big baby! Go!" She yelled and Taylorwalked over to the corner, "Anyway, I thought I could take care of Taylor on my own but I cant, so I want money, and as her father, you have to give me money, so give it," She said,
"No! I'm not giving you any money," He said,
"Why not?!" She hissed,
"Because for all I know, she isnt even my daughter!" He stated, "How dumb do you think I am Britney, the only way you will get some of my money, is through a DNA test, if she's mine, I will pay, if she isnt, then you leave," He said,
"Oh come on, It's not like you need the money your family is rich!" She exclaimed,
"I havent used any of my family's money, this house and everything in it was bought with our own money, and any spare money we have goes to our baby," He said standing up, "Now I want you to get out of my house!" He exclaimed,
"But what about the DNA test?" She asked,
"You'll be hearing from my lawyers," He said,
"Taylor Rose King! Come on we're leaving!" She said walking to the door and Taylor ran over to her, and tried to take her hand but Britney moved it away, "Eww! Taylor no holding my hand, you have sticky fingers!" She said and stormed out with Taylor following, and I sighed,
Kim's POV - 2 Days Later
"So what did your lawyer say?" Jack asked Niall as Jack, Niall, Poppy & I sat around the kitchen counter at ours,
"He said he sent a letter to Britney and that she has to take Taylor to get her DNA took by tomorrow, and we should get the results in 2 weeks," He explained,
"So do you think this little girl is yours?" Jack asked,
"Honestly, I dont think she is mine, but..." He trailored and baby's cries could be heard through the baby monitor,
"Looks like someone's up, Pops you wanna help me, get in some practise?" I asked and she nodded and we walked upstairs to Robin's room,
Jack's POV
"But?" I asked once Kim & Poppy had walked upstairs,
"But a part of me hopes that she is mine, just so I can get custody and get her away from Britney, I mean, Jack bro, you should see the way she treats her, she's only aloud water to drink, no junk food, no cookies because she has to watch her carbs, she wont hold Taylor's hand because there 'sticky', if she cries, she calls her a baby and yells, Its ridiculas," He explained,
"What does Poppy think about all this?" I asked,
"She says she's okay, but I can tell that she isnt," He said sighing,
Kim's POV
"She's so cute," Poppy said smiling and Robin who I held in my arms, and I smiled,
"So, how are you taking this whole Britney thing?" I asked curiously and she sighed,
"I dont know, I mean, he tells me that Taylor isnt his, but, she looks just like him, she has the hair, the eyes and even the freckles and Its like, how can she not be his, and when Britney was round yesterday so Niall could spend time with Taylor just in case she is his, she just kept going on at me about how good they were together, and how if she stayed they would of been a little family, and then she started going on about the fact that Niall still looks good and everything and then she told me to watch my back," She explained,
"What?" I asked,
"She was kidding but it was the way she said it and the glint in her eyes that was saying, she wants him back," She said sadly,
"Poppy, even if she wants him back, she's not gonna get him back, because he loves you and that little baby of yours, he asked you to marry him because he loves you, he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, I've known you both since the day you were born, and I know your perfect for each other," I said and she sighed again,
"I used to think so too, but I'm not so sure anymore," She said,
