Twenty Five- Time is Short
"What is he mumbling about?" Bulla leaned over and whispered as she glanced at Blake. The boy was leading the group. He had a giant smirk on his far as he mumbled something.
"I have no idea," Pan said. "He's been like that since I picked him and Sophia up from school."
"He's mumbling because he got the highest marks for all his subjects," Sophia told them.
"That's great, Blake!" Pan smiled proudly.
"Panny!" Blake grabbed her hand, holding it happily. "Trunks has to take me camping now!"
"He does?" Pan blinked.
"He said he would if I got top marks!"
Sophia shrugged, "he did..."
"Camping, huh...?" Pan raised a brow. "That does seen nice... And it's the last day of school," she glanced over at Bulla. "How about you and Goten come with us?"
"Pan, you want me to go camping?" Bulla frowned.
Pan pouted her bottom lip out at her friend. "Please... Plus, Bulma has all those fancy tents with air-conditioners doesn't she?"
"True..." Bulla mused. "Oh, okay... I'm sure I won't even have to sweet talk Go-kun into it..."
Pan grinned, looking at the kids. "Great! Summer vacation is on it's way!"
"Yes!" Blake shrieked loudly.

"Are you sure you guys have everything?" Gohan asked the group as they got loaded into the jeep.
"Yes, Papa," Pan told him with a smile, adjusting her sunglasses. "Trunks has everything in Capsules."
"Okay..." Gohan looked at the group and gave a soft chuckle. Blake sat up front between Trunks and Pan and the boy looked beyond excited. Sophia was sitting the back, in the middle of Bulla and Goten. She seemed to be looking at a magazine with Bulla as Goten got comfortable. "Have fun!" He finally told the group.
"Thanks, Papa!" Pan laughed, sending him off with a wave.
"How long will it take us to he there?" Blake asked Trunks as the city started fading in the distance.
"Hm... Probably another two hours or so," Trunks told him.
"How many miles is that?" Blake asked, and Trunks fought back the urge to sigh. It was going to be a long two hours...

"It's hot out here," Bulla whined, adjusting her hat on top of her head. "Tru-nii," she held out her hand towards him.
"What?" He asked her dully.
"Give me the home capsule," she huffed.
"Already? We just got here Bull," he said as Blake climbed onto his shoulders, looking around happily.
"Yes, already," she pouted.
Trunks dug in his pockets before he found the right capsule. He gave it to Bulla, and she grinned happily, opening it as she chunked it to a nearby clear field. A booming White House popped up. It looked like a mini replica of the Briefs.
"Woah," Pan looked at the house. "That big thing for just us?"
"It has three rooms," Bulla told her.
"Hey, I like that," Trunks said, grinning at Pan. With the three bedrooms, it would be easy for them to split up. Pan with him, Goten and Bulla together, and then Sophia and Blake. They were already sharing a room at CC, so why not here too?
"Trunks, did ya bring the boat?" Blake asked excitedly.
"Yep," he said, handing the boy a capsule.
Blake flew off of his shoulders heading towards the lake and dropping a capsule into it. A medal boat appeared in it's stead. "Panny! Come ride with me," he called to her. "Sophia, Trunks, you too!"
"He sure is excited," Pan mused, walking to the lake.
"Well, it is nice," Sophia told her. "We both miss doing things with our parents, and when we're with you two, it's like we're with them."
"I like doing things with you two," Pan told her with a smile.
"Me too," Trunks added, helping the girls into the boat. "What are you two going to do?" He raised a brow at Goten and Bulla.
"I'm fishing!" The man smiled, already getting his pole ready.
Bulla had set up a padded chair with a little bar next to it an giant umbrella hanging above it. She pulled out a magazine from her purse. "I'm doing this."
"Hah," Trunks shook his head lightly. He gave the boat a gentle push, before climbing in and sitting next to Blake. They started rowing down the giant lake, stopping here and there to look at a few things.
"Awh," Pan cooed, petting a few ducks as they quacked by.
"They're so cute," Sophia smiled, petting some as well.
Blake let go of his paddle, picking up a duck. It quacked loudly, wanting to let go. "Can I keep him?!" He asked Trunks in excitement.
"Buddy, I don't think he wants you to keep him," Trunks laughed as the duck struggled to get away from the boy.
"But I want a duck- owe!" Blake whined as the duck comped on his finger. "That hurt!" He told the duck who waddled to the edge of the boat before jumping in the water.
"Here," Pan reached over to take his hand. She looked at his red finger before giving it a kiss. "Better?" She smiled.
Blake blushed lightly, a small smile appearing on his lip. "Yeah.. Thanks, Panny."

By the time the four had arrived back to the campsite, Goten had started a fire and started cooking the fish. They ate happily, all laughing and telling stories. Once the sun had disappeared and the moon and stars started shinning marshmallows were brought out to roast. As they ate, stories were told... Scary stories...
"I don't think we should do this," Pan told them, noticing Blake's wide eyes.
"What?" The boy blinked. "No, Panny, I'm fine! Really," he smiled up at her.
"Okay..." She said lightly, though she still wasn't sure...
The stories continued, and Blake listened to all of them... Surprisingly, once it was time for bed, he obeyed without a complaint and him and Sophia were soon sleeping peacefully.
"I have to admit, I like this room," Pan told Trunks. The ceiling was nothing but a giant window, so all they saw were stars.
"Hm..." He grinned, starting to kiss her neck and make her giggle. "Ever thought about making love under the stars?" He kissed her cheek.
"Oh..." Pan grinned up at him, her cheeks tinting pink. "Who knew you were a romantic?"
"I do try," he chuckled, leaning down to kiss her neck. Pan shivered, shifting herself underneath him so she could rest her hand on his back. Her other hand roamed up to his chest, wrapping her fingers in his hair.
Slowly, the door creaked open, and they broke apart as Blake stuck his head in. "Panny, are you awake?" He whispered, seeing her first.
"Yes," she whispered back as he shut the door and walked over to her. His cheeks tinted pink, "I had a bad dream... Can I sleep with you?"
Pan glanced at Trunks, who groaned silently. He really didn't have it in him to tell Blake no, though that's exactly what he was wanting to do... Him and Pan were just about to get to the good part!
"Come on," Pan told Blake, and he climbed into the bed, right in the middle of her and Trunks.
"Let me guess, those scary stories scared you?" Trunks raised a brow at him.
"No!" Blake pouted stubbornly, snuggling up to Pan.
"It's okay," Pan laughed, hugging him back.
The room was quiet for a few minutes, a peacefulness had settled. Blake was snoring softly and Pan was almost asleep... The door opened again, then shut. Soft footsteps came across the carpet and a shadow found it's way at the end of the bed before crawling up it and settling next to Blake, right beside Trunks.
"Did you have a bad dream too?" Trunks found himself smiling slightly as he looked at Sophia, who held onto her stuffed monkey.
"Of course not," she told him, her cheeks tinting pink. "I was just making sure Blake made it in here safely."
"Sure," Trunks chuckled, stretching an arm out over Sophia and Blake, his hand resting on Pan's hip.
They shared a smile, and Sophia closed her eyes, smiling. She couldn't help but feel like she was almost with her actual parents... They had gone to sleep like that so many times...

Pan blinked, looking at the unfamiliar scenery. Why was she in the middle of a castle ruins? She glanced up, noticing the sky was a dull gray, like it was about to rain.
"Where am I?" She whispered. It felt like the dream she ha of Trunks months ago... She looked for him, but saw him nowhere.
"My child," a soft voice gained her attention. As turned, gasping at the sight in front of her. A woman... Or was she a ghost? She floated in front of Pan, her white robes and hair swaying, though there was no wind. It was pure magical and Pan couldn't stop staring at her beauty- it was other worldly. She looked transparent to touch, but Pan couldn't see through her.
"Who are you?" Pan whispered.
"Do not be afraid, Son Pan," she whispered back.
Chills ran up Pan's arms. "You know my name?"
"I know many things about you," the woman smiled.
"So... Are you like my guardian spirit?" Pan wondered.
The woman laughed softly, "something like that..." She saw Pan's confused face so she continued, "all will be explained very soon, Dear."
"I'm still confused," Pan confessed, shaking her head. "What's going on? Why did you tell me not to be afraid?"
The woman's voice was hushed as she spoke, "everything is about to change, Pan. Hard times are coming. You and the other Saiyans will have to stick together during this time and stay close."
"What's going to happen?" Pan asked.
The woman slowly started floating backwards, disappearing. Pan felt her heart race. "Wait!" She called, running after her. "Please!" It was useless, the woman was gone before Pan could reach her.

Pan woke up, her eyes wide and blinking. She sat up on the bed, causing BB to stretch before curling back up in a ball. Pan swallowed hard. Just what did that dream mean! What was coming that would change everything? Pan shook her head, falling back on the pillows with a sigh. She didn't know if her dream meant anything, and she still didn't understand the dream Future Trunks was in. He told her she had the answer... To what, she wondered...
