Raven

Raven opened her eyes slowly and looked around. Te last thing she remembered was seeing the fake Scott doppelganger standing over her, and she had covered her face for fear of getting hit. But as she looked around now, it seemed like he, and the other doubles, had disappeared. As she looked around, she noticed Russ, red and cry were all missing.

That's not good.

Scott walked up beside her "hey, you okay?" He looked like he had a bruise forming on his chin.

"Yea, I'm fine. Are you?"

He sighed and faked a smile "never better."

Raven turned around at the sound of voices, and was glad to find Russ and red walking towards them; along with snake.

Scott and raven followed.

Actually… we seem to be missing someone…. Where is-

"Hey, where's cry?" Scott asked, as if reading her mind.

Everyone seemed quiet until red answered in a flat tone. "He's...gone."

"Gone? What do you mean?" Scott looked confused for a moment for realizing what she meant. "…oh. Shit."

Russ cut in "well we don't know for sure. But what we do know is that we have one less doppelganger to worry about."

"Wait, you managed to get one?"

Red nodded.

"Well now at least we know these things can be killed. That's a start."

"Is that really all we know about these things? Because that's not much." Scott said, crossing is arms.

"Well we also know that these things can disappear too. It seems to be only when they snap their fingers; but that could just be for show. I wouldn't put it past them." Red continued.

"I did notice one thing," Snake spoke up. "I think somehow these things are connected to us by more than just appearance."

"Go on…"

Snake continued, "I noticed when we were fighting those things, whenever I managed to land any hits on it, I felt it as well."

"Great so not only are these things way stronger and faster than us, but they can transmit pain or something?"

"that could be useful in some situations though…" raven added, " like if we can't tell who is the real or fake, wouldn't we know by whether or not both feel ones pain?"

"That's Good point" red agreed. "But when I shot my doppelganger, I didn't feel that. Could that mean the gun is special?"

Snake looked over the gun absentmindedly." Hmm… that may be. We should be careful to make sure we use it wisely then." He paused. "Wait a minute…" he squinted at the gun closely. "Russ, you said there was a smiley face etched into this thing?"

"Yea, why?" He leaned over to look at it.

"Was this there too?"

Raven leaned over to see as well.

Now, beside the first smiley face, was another. Only this time it was a frown.

"That's weird… that defiantly was not there before."

Not the strangest thing to happen yet today though….

"Hey uh, quick question," Scott cut in, "when did that get there?" the pointed up top the cliff.

There was a large building, clearly visible up top.

Everyone stared at it in silence, not quite sure how to respond. One of the lights inside went out.
