Looking up to see Naruto and Sasuke walking toward them Kagome blinked. "What was all that about?"

Keeping his stern eyes as he looked at her then up to his brother, Sasuke sighed. "We have a new problem."

"What?"

Turning back down to Kagome Sasuke sighed. "And she is the resident expert on how to fight them."

Blinking Kagome let her head fall to the side. "Me? What are you talking about?"

"Before coming back, I killed Orochimaru and Kabuto. Before the portal could close, Naraku came through."

Gasping Kagome went wide eyed. "Naraku is here!" She looked down as she started wringing her hands. "We have to get out of the village and away from any innocent people. He is going to be coming straight for me."

"Straight for you?"

Turning to Sakura with rage flaring in her eyes, Kagome crossed her arms. "He is a human who turned half demon by letting hordes devour him. His evil nature as a human was powerful enough that he overtook the mind of the demons that were eating him. He thrives on chaos and pain. He has a perfect half of a jewel and I have the other half." She then pulled the jewel out of her shirt and looked at it. The source of all the hurt in her life. "This is called the…"

"Shikon No Tama?"

Jerking around to look at Naruto with wide eyes Kagome held the jewel in her hand. "How did you know that?"

Naruto blinked as he looked at her. "Because it looks just like the bell that Shion has and that is what she calls it."

Looking up at Itachi with an odd look, Kagome blinked.

"The miko we are going to go see tomorrow."

Drawing everyone's attention, Sakura was looking up at Sasuke with confused eyes. "But Sasuke if you killed Orochimaru and Kabuto why couldn't you kill him as he went through?"

With a sigh as she dropped her head and fisted her hands at her sides, Kagome was really starting to get pissed off with the way this girl acted toward her. First she hated her because she was married to Itachi and didn't believe Sasuke was going to come back to her. And now she was acting like Sasuke is the greatest thing to walk the Earth! "That is simple Sakura. He doesn't know Naraku. He has no clue exactly how underhanded he is. Or the things he can do. He uses parts of his own body to create brand new demons that attack me and my friends constantly!" Her brown eyes glaring now into shocked green ones. "For example there is Kana of the Void. She is called that cause she has no sensing energy. She has no smell. But she has a mirror that can take over anyone's mind if they look in it and turn them into her mindless puppets."

Turning back to Itachi she had pleading eyes. "We have to leave this village today. Like as soon as we can get back and get my bag from the room."

With a sigh, Itachi nodded. "Alright then." He then looked over at Sasuke. "Go see Lady Tsunade. Have her get whoever is going to go with us and Naruto together. We leave as soon as possible."

"Right." But once it was just him, Sakura and Naruto he looked down at Sakura and her downcast eyes. Looking back up at Naruto he sighed. Hoping Naruto would get the message.

Looking from one to the other, though he was hurt that he wasn't going to be the one to be with Sakura. He was at least happy that she was going to be happy with someone she loved. "I get it. I will meet you at Tsunade's." Then he was just gone.

Looking down at Sakura as he started to slowly walk he sighed. "What was that all about Sakura?"

"What?"

"Don't what with me. Provided nothing happens anytime soon you and her are going to be sisters and you are going to need to learn to get along. What was that all about?"

Turning her face into his shoulder Sakura finally understood what she said. "I hated her just because she took up for your brother. And I didn't hide it."

"Why?"

"I have only ever known him as the monster that hurt you so badly as a child. If it weren't for that you wouldn't have left to go with Orochimaru to try and get stronger. You wouldn't have had to carry the burden thinking your brother was someone you had to hate and destroy. That is what I still see when I look at him even standing with you this way."

Looking up with a sigh as he closed his eyes. "You know everything then?"

"I know someone ordered him to do it and he did it. He didn't have to though."

"In fact he did Sakura. He showed me everything. IT was Danzo that ordered him to kill the entire Uchiha Clan. Had he followed his orders I would have never been standing here with you. Or known you at all." He then looked down at her as he walked into the Hokage mansion. "He did it because if he had refused he would have been targeted along with the entire Uchiha Clan and anyone else in the village that dared to interfere by the entire Foundation Unit. The Foundation hated us and would have took great delight in making us suffer as much as they could. Itachi and myself included. But he knew the kind of training I needed. And that I couldn't get it here in the village to be able to defeat Danzo when the time came."

Stopping at Tsunade's door he sighed as he made her look up at him. "Don't hate my brother anymore Sakura. Please."

"I told you I can't help it. I will try but I don't know if I will be able too."

"Until you do I can't change your name. Remember that."

"You mean that we can't…"

Putting a finger at her lips he sighed. "We can be together. Just nothing more than the occasional kiss here or there. No sex. No children. Not until you can accept it in your heart that my brother is here to stay and if we get married he will be YOUR brother too. I forgave him for what he did Sakura. You need to also."

Now at the village gate and waiting for everyone to come so they could leave and get out of there Kagome couldn't help but pace back and forth wringing her hands together before her as she bit her bottom lip. If Naraku was really here in this world it could end bad. She had to figure out a way to at least get a fraction of the jewel from him and then get out of the this world and back where her friends were. With their help and Itachi Naraku could be as good as dead.

But she also knew that she had to get him to follow her. And taking his half of the jewel and leaving was going to be the only way. And then she did want to hear what this miko was going to tell her. But she also worried what sort of havoc that Naraku would spread while she trained. "Damnit!"

"You need to calm down Kagome."

"I can't!" Still pacing and not even looking over at him as others started to show up she crossed her arms while she continued to bite her lower lip. Kagome had never been in a position where she didn't know the terrain. She didn't know where there were homes, big villages or small ones. She was at a complete disadvantage here. 'Why did he have to come? Why couldn't he have stayed there and then we could deal with him there. Oh no he had to come here and try to cause more pain and torment in my life.'

"Is she going to be okay?"

His eyes on his wife Itachi nodded. "She will be just fine. This is just her way of working things out. Though the faster that we can get her to Shion the better."

Another few moments and everyone was there. With a few new faces as well. There was Team Kakashi in Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. Team Asuma in Ino, Shikamaru and Chouji. Team Kurenai in Hinata, Shino, Kiba and Akamaru. And Team Gai in Neji, Tenten and Lee. The new faces were Keiko Aburame, Shino's girlfriend. Hiromi and Hiroko, Kiba's love interest and her dog. And Sai. He wasn't an entirely new face but he was still a new face when faced with something this big.

Turning back to Kagome he sighed. "Kagome. Everyone is here we are headed out."

Turning around she nodded as she picked up her pack then gasped as her entire body tensed. It was that sensation. That same sensation she got whenever someone with a jewel shard was nearby. She turned and looked straight down the road that lead to the gate as she took a step back against Itachi, her entire body was shaking. "We are too late. He is here."
