Mummipokey's Artifact Base

Mummipokey runs a a shop within a wooden cabin selling artifacts in Seaside Hill. The mummified cactus will have to come up with cunning, fantastic tales to help sell otherwise useless knick knacks to suspicious customers. Will he be able to do it and profit from such a shady business?

25. Chapter 25

BD Joe pulled up to Mummipokey's artifact base in his yellow taxi cab, pounding on its side with his right hand as he turned his head to Mummipokey, smiling.

"Yo, mummified cactus dude, you know where the gas station around here is?" BD Joe asked as he rolled his left hand around. "The race is about to start over at the Ocean Ruin, and I don't have enough mileage in my cab."

Mummipokey thought for a moment as he bobbed his head back and forth. "Oh, you don't need to find a gas station, dude! Just have this nifty, handy item I have here!" Mummipokey then popped out a Golden Mushroom from the top of his head, letting it jump into the engine of BD Joe's taxi cab. "That yellow fungus does wonders for any car that needs an extra boost!"

BD Joe smiled as he gave a thumbs up to Mummipokey. "Thanks, you weird yet interesting creature! Peace out!" He then honked the horn of his taxi cab as he drove eastward, riding on the grassy path.

Mummipokey smiled as he watched BD Joe go. "It makes me happy to make racers like that guy satisfied," He commented as he went back to slowly moving from side to side.
