We went running down many halls, racing around corners until we reached the very bottom level of the complex, coming to a halt to see eyes peering out of the wall, just staring at us. Which to say I found rather disturbing.

"Ah," Theta remarked, "The eyes have it."

"Why are they here?" Amy frowned with confusion.

"To accuse...us," I replied in remark.

"Ignore them," Cleaves orders, as we continued on, "It's not far."

She led us inside another room, throwing another door open to the thermostatic room. We quickly ran in, myself and Theta hurrying over to the controls, as we immediately got to work, trying to correct the settings. But it was no use none of it would work.

"It's a chemical chain reaction now," my Bonded shook his head assessing the controls, "I can't stop it. This place is going to blow sky high."

"Exactly how long have we got?" Cleaves now asked.

"Er, somewhere between, I'm not totally sure, Serena is normal better at this sort thing aren't you dear," Theta looked to me for guidance.

"My you are really useless sometimes," I roll my eyes in disbelief, "I'm guessing Cleaves we've got at least an hour and five minutes...no, no, no scrap the minutes make that five seconds or something along those lines."

There's another explosion in the distance followed by a loud klaxon that echoed through the entire factory, just as the machinery began to hiss

"Out!" my Bonded ordered, shoving all of us out of the room.

We all ran out, Amy is out first and running down the tunnel, only for to bump into Rory, "All right?" he smiled at her.

"Oh, Rory!" Amy gasped as she flung her arms around him in a hug, "Oh, Rory."

"There's a way out. Jennifer found it. A secret tunnel under the crypt."

"From the crypt?" Cleaves frowned at this and shook her head, "It's not on the schematics."

"It runs right out of the monastery. Maybe even under the TARDIS. Follow me," he turned to led the way, the others following after him as both Theta and I exchanged hesitant glances before taking each others hands and following after the others towards the acid room.

-Doctor Who-

Cleaves took us into the acid room, as I see Jimmy frowning with concern, "We can't leave without Buzzer," he now mentions turning to look at her.

"I'll go back for him," she then suggested, making her way back towards the door.

"Doctor, Serena, look..." Rory now turned to us, as he stood partly in the hallway as we both stood inside the room with the others, as the last ones in with a niggling feeling in the back of my mind that things are about to get a lot worse, "I'd better tell you, I haven't been quite straight with you..."

Rory is suddenly yanked back and the door to the acid room gets slammed shut and locked behind us, "Rory!" I shouted, running up to the door with my mate and Cleaves trying to get it opened.

"Rory Pond," my Doctor began to pound on the door angrily with his fists, "Roranicus Pondicus!"

"Rory!" Amy now came up to the small window, "What the hell are you playing at?"

"They've been throwing away old Flesh and leaving it to rot, alive!" Rory yelled back to her, "I think the world should see that."

"Rory we don't have time for this," I threaten him angrily, "When this factory's about explode any given minute!"

"Are you sure about this?" I heard him ask who I get the feeling probably isn't the real Jennifer meaning only the worse thing imaginable. That she was possibly dead, "Cos I'm not. Let them out."

"The little girl got strong," I heard Ganger Jen with grin in her voice.

"What?"

"The little girl lost on the moors in her red wellies? Looking for a way home? Well, she got strong, Rory. I told you, remember?"

"But that wasn't..." Rory started to sound uncertain, now probably starting to realise the real Jen wasn't with him, "It was the other Jennifer that told me about being a little girl."

"Oh? What other Jennifer?"

"Well, the... the... wait, you tricked me? Let me go, I'll open the door!" we now heard him shout, as he struggled to open the door only for Ganger Jen to stop him, "Let me..." he shouted at Amy as he's taken away, "I'm sorry!"

We see Ganger Cleaves approaching the window, looking at herself, "We have to be free."

"I'm sorry too, Miranda," Cleaves told as gave her head a nod, "Of all the humans in the world, you had to pick the one with the clot," she now tapped her temple, letting in on what is wrong with her, "But hey, them's the breaks. Welcome to the Human race."

The Ganger started at her a few moments longer before taking her leave. Just as Cleaves lets out a sigh as she turned to face us whilst Theta used his sonic on the acid , "This is going to overheat and fill the room with acid," he informed, "Just as a point of interest."

"And we can't stop it?"

"Just as a point of interest, no."

-Doctor Who-

Dicken was currently lowering the cap over the vat of acid, so it would buy us more time.

"It'll never hold her," Jimmy called over to us as he helped.

"If you have a better plan," I turned to the man arms folded across my chest, "We're all ears."

"In fact, if you have a better plan, we'll take you to a planet where EVERYONE is all ears." Theta suggested as I rolled my eyes at him.

-Doctor Who-

I heard the pounding of feet echoing from outside in the hallway, whilst Jimmy tried his best to keep the lid closed on the vat. The acid began to boil over making Theta to pull me back quickly, just as some acid hits Jimmy in the chest and he falls to the floor.

In that moment the door came crashing open, with Ganger Jimmy running in, "Let me through!"

"I'm sorry, but there's nothing we can do," Theta sighed and shook his head as Ganger Jimmy crouched by his human self, "The acid's reached his heart."

"Hang in there, mate," he said to him.

"I'm quite handsome from this angle," Jimmy faintly remarked, as he looked up to his Ganger.

"I'm...sorry. I'm the fake. Adam deserves his real dad."

"Shut up," Jimmy now sighed.

"What do you want me to do? Anything, just say."

"The way things are, mate... it's up to you now," I see him pull a cord from around his neck and press it into the palm of his Ganger's hand, "Be a dad. You remember how," he smiled weakly back at him before his head lulled to the side. As I see Ganger Jimmy look to the wedding band in his hand.

"Jimmy Wicks...you're a dad," my Bonded came to put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

-Doctor Who-

"Daddy?" we hear the Jimmy's little boy calling for him just as we entered the dining hall, "Where's my daddy?"

I see both the Cleaves nod to each other politely before the other went and stood beside her whilst Rory ran towards Amy, hugging and kissing each other.

"Daddy, it's me!" Adam cried, excitedly as I watch Ganger Jimmy approach the hologram.

"Hey, sunshine!" he gave a nervous laugh, "What are you up to?"

"Opening all my presents."

"Haha, good lad. You have fun today. And remember, your dad... he loves you very, very much."

"When are you coming home?"

I see him look to Theta, who gave a resounding nod, "Daddy's coming home today, Adam," he announced to the little boy walking up to the hologram.

"Yay!" the child beamed excitedly doing a little dance, which in turn made his 'father' smile.

"Now we need to move," my Doctor now added as he turned off the hologram.

-Doctor Who-

Theta led us through the tunnels only for us to come to a stop when we come across a very misshapen, very elongated Ganger Jen, who was has become mutated beyond recognition.

"Run. Run. Run!" he turned away chanting hurriedly as we continued running, trying to urge the others along. She chased after us on all fours as we continued running through the tunnels and into another room. Just as the roof gave an almighty groan from above our heads, "Ooh, roof's going to give!"

Both Dicken and his Ganger manage to get the door closed behind us soon as everyone was inside the other room.

"We have to stop her," Ganger Dicken said looking back, "This door doesn't lock."

"No, but the far one does," Dicken went to correct him, before he charged off down the hallway to the far door at the end. We watched on on as he struggled to get it closed but it gets jammed. I looked back seeing Ganger Jen now had appeared down the far end of the tunnel, hurling towards him. He accidently pulled the handle off, which had freed the door but had probably broken the lock. He ran past it, closing it form the other side.

"No!" his Ganger shouts, as we heard him screaming, before we closed our own door shut. Ganger Cleaves and Theta went to help him with the door, helping to keep it shut.

"Here she comes!" Theta's Ganger announce.

With a crash, the TARDIS landed right in front of us, "Clever girl," I gave her a pat, "You do know how to make an entrance, don't you?"

"Move!" Theta's Ganger called as he opened the door.

"Go!" Theta ushered as as he held the door with Cleaves, "Go, go, go!"

Ganger Dicken went running inside the TARDIS.

"Get on board!" Ganger Cleaves called over to herself, "Go!"

"I'm not leaving," Cleaves was now insisting as Ganger Jen pounded on the door.

"Go."

I watched her hesitate before she went running inside the TARDIS.

"Now's our chance," Amy comes running up to us.

"I have to stay," Theta shook his head, "Hold this door closed. Give you time to dematerialise."

"Oh, don't be crazy," she snorted, "Ok, what happens to you?"

"Well, this place is just about to explode. But I can stop her."

"Both of you can survive this, ok?"

"Or perhaps you think I should stay instead..." his Ganger spoke up walking up behind her, "Mr Smith?"

She turned to him see him standing before her, as I stood beside him, "No, of course not. But look, this man, I've flown with him, you know? And you are amazing and yeah, I misjudged you, but you're not him. I'm sorry."

"Amy," I sighed, "They both swapped shoes."

"I'm the Doctor," Theta said as he stood beside me.

"And I'm the Flesh," the Ganger by the door raised his hand.

"You can't be," Amy shook her head at this, before turning to the Ganger at the door, "You're the real him."

"No, I'm not, and I haven't been all along."

"They haven't been since we left the evac tower," I added with an explanation, "They decided to swap shoes and places when I helped them fix the controls. I watched them do it Amy."

"What?" she now looked rather stunned.

"I'm the original Doctor, Amy," Theta tells her grabbing my hand, "We had to know if we were truly the same. It was important, vital, we learned about The Flesh. And we could only do that through your eyes."

Amy looked at Theta's Ganger for a moment, before running up to up and tightly hugging him, "I never thought it possible."

"What?" I heard him ask"

"You're twice the man I thought you were."

He smiled, hugging her back tightly, only myself being able to hear what he whisphered in her ear, "Push, Amy. But only when she tells you to."

"Amy, come on!" Rory called for Amy as Ganger Jen's banging on the door got more violent. Amy turned and ran past my Doctor towards the TARDIS.

He turned to me and gave my hand another squeeze, "Go and get the old girl ready."

I nodded and went jogging into the TARDIS with, going up to the console.

"Well, my death arrives, I suppose," I heard the Ganger comment.

"But this one, we're not invited to," my Bonded returned to him with a remark.

"Pardon?"

"Your molecular memory can survive this, you know. It may not be the end," looking over my shoulder I see him toss the Ganger his sonic.

"If I turn up to nick all your biscuits, you'll know you were right," he joked.

"As long as you don't steal my Rena..." his Ganger laughed a little before they both settled.

"Doctor!" Amy shouted for him, from the doorway, "No, please..." Rory trying to guide her inside.

"You too, Cleaves, off you pop," Theta's Ganger turned to Ganger Cleaves.

"I'm staying," I see Ganger Cleaves shake her head.

"This is not the time for grand gestures."

"Says the king of grand gestures! This is my factory! I'm not going anywhere."

"Foreman Miranda Cleaves, marvellous!" Theta's Ganger gave Cleaves Ganger a kiss oh her head, "Beware of imitations."

"Clear off out of here, the lot of you!"

Theta nodded before he came running inside the TARDIS, closing the door behind him. He sense him looking at me, so turn to meet his gaze. I gave a nod as he came running up to me, as we helped each other pilot the TARDIS, trusting that his Ganger has successfully dissolved Ganger Jen.

-Doctor Who-

My Bonded leaned against the console as Amy now approached, giving him a light nudge.

"The energy from the TARDIS will stabilise the Gangers for good," I informed everyone, coming around from the other side of the console to stand beside Theta, "They're people now."

"And what happens to me?" Cleaves asked us, giving her head a tap, "I still have this."

"Ah, that's not a problem," Theta assured her with a smile, snapping his fingers before looking around him for it, "I have something for that. It's small and red and tastes like burnt onions, ha!" he takes out a vial from underneath the console and threw it to her, "But it'll get rid of your blood clot," he now grinned and reached behind the console again this time pulling out a red balloon, "Happy endings."

-Doctor Who-

We both watched on as the little boy Adam, ran up, "Hey!"to Ganger Jimmy was smiling back at him, he bent down giving him the red balloon, "Hello, bud."

"Daddy, you're back!" Adam hugged him, lifting him into the air and twirling him around.

"Hello, my boy! How are you doing?"

-Doctor Who-

Myself, Theta, Cleaves and Dicken's Ganger slowly walked over to the doors of a room where a press conference was going to be held about the solar storm and the Gangers, with Amy and Rory not far behind us.

"You really want us to do this?" Cleaves asked eyeing us both.

"You owe it to your Ganger and the others," I nodded.

"Your company's telling the world that the situation is over," my Bonded agreed, "You need to get in there and tell them that the situation's only just begun. Make them understand what they're doing to the Flesh. Make them stop. Dicken, remember, people are good. In their bones, truly good. Don't hate them, will you?"

"How can I hate them?" Ganger Dicken returned us a smile, "I'm one of them now."

"Yes, and just remember, people died because of all this mess," I remind them, "Don't let it be in vain. Make what you say inside that room count."

Cleaves took a deep breath and looked over at Ganger Dicken, "Ready?" she moved towards the door, "Side by side."

"You got it, boss," he nodded opening the door for her and following her inside the room.

We all didn't move for a long moment, but quickly grabbed Theta's hand and squeezed it just as I felt the familiar pain of regeneration starting. And the flash of a white room in my mind, "You ok?" Amy asked us.

"I said breathe, Pond, remember?," he asked of her, returning the "Well, breathe."

"Why?" Amy blinked at him.

I let out a cry of pain and doubled over again. Theta manages to catch me before I fall to the floor, holding me up, "Hang on Rena!"

"Doctor what's happening?" Amy walked towards us, eyes wide with concern.

"She's going to regenerate but most importantly Pond is that I need you to breathe!" he shouted at her.

Amy now suddenly bent over in pain clutching her stomach, "Ohh! Whoa. Oh!"

"What's wrong with them?" Rory's eyes went wide, from what I could see through my vision that was starting to become fuzzy.

"We need to get them into the TARDIS!" Theta ground out, as I felt him wrapping my arm over his shoulders...poor Rory must be horrified right now...

"Doctor! What is happening to them?" I heard Rory demand once we had entered the TARDIS.

"For Amy, contractions," I see my Bonded vaguely point at her.

"Contractions?"

"She's going into labour."

"Did he say?" Amy must of gawked at him for that, "No, of course he didn't. Rory!" I see her double over in pain again.

"You'll have to start explaining this to me, Doctor," Rory warned as he tried holding up Amy.

"What, the birds and the bees?" Theta rolled his eyes, hand coming up to check my burning forehead pulling his hand back, "She's having a baby and Serena is dying. I needed to see the Flesh in its early days. That's why I scanned it. That's why we were there in the first place. I was going to drop you off for fish and chips first, but things happened and there was stuff and shenanigans," I felt him tilt my head up.

"My head," I whimpered, as tears streamed down my face, "It's bloody killing me!"

"I know it will be over soon," he whispered kissing my forehead, hugging me close, "And then I'll come and find you."

"It hurts!" I heard Amy wheezing.

"But you're ok?" Rory asked, "You're really starting to scare us, Doctor."

"Good," I felt him nod against my head, "Because frankly I'm terrified. So, I needed enough information to block the signal to the Flesh."

"What signal?" I heard Amy ask.

"The signal to you," Theta replied, "And the signal to Rena."

"Doctor?" Amy sounded so terrified and confused as Theta kissed me, before passing getting me to lean on the console beside her and back away, "Doctor?"

"Stand away from her, Rory."

"Why?" Rory defiantly shook his head, stepping forwards just as I take Amy's hand in mine, as she squeezed back, "No! And why?"

"Given what we've learned, I'll be as humane as I can, but I'm losing patience of watching Rena die!" he snapped at Rory, barley controlling his temper, "So stand away!"

Rory backed away, "No!" Amy whimpered from beside me, "No! Doctor, I am frightened. I'm properly, properly scared."

"Don't be," I tell her squeezing her hand, "Because whatever is about to happen, you won't be on your own," I gave her hand another squeeze. I needed to wake up and regenerate. Because I won't be able to forgive myself if anything happens to Amy or that baby while I slept away on one of those harnesses or a chamber being kept in a state of sleep. I had to protect them both, so I needed to be awake for it to happen. I needed to be awake for the TARDIS to track me, to give Theta a location.

"Rena, I don't understand?" Amy shook her head before looking at me confused, "We're right here!" Amy insisted looking back to my mate.

"No, Amy," I squeeze her hand getting her to look at me, biting my lip, "The both of us haven't been here for a very long time," I look back trying to remain calm, "Theta," I say to him in our mother tongue, even if the Ponds didn't understand it as they looked between us, "Don't be long ok."

"I promise you I won't long," he nodded his head.

"If you do take too long," I warned him, "The first thing you'll feel is my hand."

"I will get there quick as I can," he swallowed and nodded his head, "I love you ok Rena."

"I love you too Theta."

I watched him take a shuddering breath, as he prepared himself and aimed his sonic screwdriver at us. With such promise in his eyes that he's going to find us. He pressed it, as everything around me went black.

-Doctor Who-

I awoke screaming in agony not realising Amy had heard it nearby in her cubicle similar to mine. As I'm pulled out continuing scream, wisps of orange regeneration surrounding me.

"Oh, dear," a voice spoke, and I see Amy looking at me through the open hatch of her cubicle, as the eyepatch lady smirked at her, "Looks like the poor girl is ready to die."

"Rena!" she screamed for me, before looking back to the woman, "What have you done to her?"

"Oh, her I'm not really concerned about right now dearie," I heard her laugh cruelly as I was hurried away. The last thing I heard were echoes of Amy's agonising screams as she gave birth.

I'm slung into a cell the door slamming shut behind me, getting weakly onto my feet and tip my head back. The energy envelopes me as every cell is burning and changing in a matter of seconds. I stumbled forwards out of it grinning, before I even get a chance to check myself over I pass out.
